Trina yawned as dawn broke. She shook ou her fey and continued on. She stood by her sister Willows' side; guiding her with her touch. Katrina padded silently through a glade. "Sport? You smell anything?" She asked quietly.

The small black and white pup was almost invisible against her sisters side, their coats blending together. As usual she could blink but when her eyes opened she was met with darkness. Her little fluffy tail swayed with her careful steps as she trusted Trina to guide her out of the way an to warn her of things that could trip her. She hesitated to turn her head towards her brother and sniff to make sure he was still close by before jumping forward to catch up with her sister again.

Sport

    The day was dawning and the orange glow of the rising sun illuminated the forest. Light bounced off the auburn leaves. Trees towered above three figures weaving through the autumn season. Leaves crunched under their paw steps and latched onto their long pelts. Cool breezes pulled leaves from their branches and shifted the leaf covered ground, exposing dead grass and dirt. The three wolf figures continued, one being guided by another. The larger of the three chuckled at the other's question. This one's name was Sport. He looked at the smaller sibling, Willow, and asked sarcastically, "You have a nose don't you?" Sport's tongue came out as he laughed and bound ahead to scout the area. His darker pelt mixed well with the parts of the woods still out of the reach of the sun. He slowed before he came to a halt in front of a giant tree. Maybe we should rest for a while. His vibrant yellow eyes glanced back in the direction of the following wolves. This must be tiring for Willow. Sport sighed in a manner that could only be described as annoyed. The yellow orbs rolled in frustration. "What pests!" He yelled this loud enough so that the girls could hear him, before sitting on his haunches. The next few minutes would be an agonizing wait for the other wolves to catch up at their pain-stakingly slow pace.

Katrina rolled her eyes. She wanted to snap at him but didn't want to fight in front if willow. "You have the best nose!" She hissed almost like a cat. "Stop yelling! I'm trying to find prey!" She rolled her eyes again and swatted gently at his tufted ears. She held her banner like tail haughtily and guided willow around a stump. The trees were skeletal shadows of themselves as they scratched the sky with their topmost leafless branches.

Her ears flicked back at his use of the word pests, allowing Trina to guide her around the tree stump before she pushed herself forward faster to catch up with him. Not pressed against Trina anymore and using her sense of smell to find him, perking her ears forward to listen for the sound of his breathing. When she was sure that he was close enough she launched herself forward in a playfull attempt to pounce on him. Just barely missing him, her front legs bucked and she rolled over herself, landing with her back against the tree and her butt in the air with a frustrated huff. She held still suddenly an sniffed the air. "Rabbit, a few trees away." She spoke lowly hoping they hadn't scared it off already.

Sport

    Both females could be seen in the distance approaching slowly. They disappeared behind a stump before returning to view. As they cleared the stump Willow took off in Sport's direction. He was a little surprised, but mostly scared that she would trip with her bark vision. She got closer, so Sport stood to help in case she needed it. Apparently not because she tried to jump on him. Although he could tell that she had missed, he still ducked a little to avoid any stray feet. Willow crash landed into the tree and Sport grimaced before looking again. Her butt waved in the air, propped up again the giant tree. Sport almost broke into a fit of laughter. She then stated that there was a rabbit hiding nearby. He sobered up and took a whiff of air. She was right, as always.

    Sport shifted into a stealthy position with his belly low to the ground, but not touching. To keep her from ruining the plan, Sport shot Trina a warning look with his glowing eyes. Keeping his weight low and his body balanced, he crept towards the shadows to better conceal himself. Sport made sure to use the patches of ground not covered by leaves to avoid making any startling sounds. The black wolf was now almost completed emerged in dark shadows and the only things visible were two glowing yellow eyes. A rabbit sat mere feet from where he crouched. He bunched his hind leg's muscles in preparation to leap, making sure to hold his breath in the process.

Katrina grinned as Willow launched herself at Sport. "Go get em!" She laughed and leaped forward. The trees were tall and painted the ground with shadows. Trina rolled her eyes at Sport. What did he know? She circled silently around the hare and gave sport a grin. Her teeth were bared and her white fur glowed. If all went according to HER plan Sport would miss, startle the rabbit and cause the prey to run straight into her clutches, where she would kill it.

She listened to their movement, but held still and steadied her breathing. Not wanting to scare it off by pushing herself off the tree. She hoped that they could catch this one, it had been awhile since they ate and they have missed the last two. If it was big enough it could fill up all three of them.

Sport

    The muscles on his hind legs coiled and Sport lifted his front paw to avoid tripping. He wiggled before releasing the tension. Sport flew through the air at the unaware rabbit. Within a matter of seconds Sport stood on the brown bundle with its neck in his mouth. A quick flick of his muzzle and the fluffy rabbit was dead. Sport let go of the dead carcass and turned to his sisters. "Shall we eat?" He picked up the bundle and tossed it to a sunny spot next to the giant tree. The black wolf sat where he was and licked his muzzle clean. His legs then stretched forward into a comfortable position laying on the ground. They need to eat more than I do, he thought. Sport slowly extinguished the golden fire of his gaze as he closed his eyes to rest. Before drifting off to sleep he said, "Don't eat too much, you're already fat enough." Smiling at his insult, he greeted sleep with open arms.

Trina grinned. Her plan was just a back up. She always had one at hand. She trotted out of the brush and crouched next to the fat rabbit. Spry wouldn't eat untill both of his sisters were full. "Who you calling fat?" She jabbed at Sport, his thick fur masking his skeletal frame. She stripped the rabbit and pretended to eat, she hid a chunk in her haws. Tomorrow she would leave it next to his nose. No matter how cocky Spott was he was still her brother. Katrina brought Eillow a large hunk of meat. With commanding yet sweet tone she said, "eat."

She rolled herself off the tree and jumped up again, her tail wagging excitedly and she obidiently dug into the meat that Trina brought her. Plopping herself down and putting one paw on it while chewing on it to keep it in place. Her ears perked and her tail still wagging, grateful for her siblings for always taking care of her. She lifted her nose to listen to them. "Sports fatter then the two of us put together." She teased.

Sport

    Although he was determined to sleep, he wanted to hear a little of their conversation so he kept enough of his mind awake to comprehend their discussion. When Willow said he was fat, Sport pretended to shift in his sleep while growling before settling to listen again.

Katrina laughed and pawed gently at Willows muzzle. When Sport shifted and growled, Trina laughed harder. She was rolling on the ground, legs flailing in the air as she tried to breathe. She sighed as her laughing fit ended. She yawned suddenly realizing she was tired. Her stomache growled for food. She looked around anxiously. 'Had Sparticus heard that?' She trotted quickly to Williws side and curled up beside her. Their white and black pelts mixing together.

She proudly finished off her bit of meat before curling up against Trina and closing her eyes. She shuffled to get comfortable for a few minutes before giving up and liftin her head again. "Will you come sleep with us sport?" She was always more comfortable with her sibblings all curled together.
