(Sorry it took me a while to make this. I was busy with school and such) Blood@pittypat Lykos:As the brothers left the empty plains, they crossed over a small river dividing two different biomes. There was a dramatic difference on the other side of the stream. They were no longer in a desolate wasteland, but in a very sylvan forest. The trees were mostly barren, preparing the way for a cold winter. Lykos submissively followed his brother through the woodland, hoping to find other wolves soon. He wasn't sure how much longer he could wait and walk and wait and travel. He was eager to meet some new faces, but he respectfully kept quiet and didn't complain. Suddenly, something caught Lykos' eye. "uh...Kylon, look at this," he said pointing his nose at a gigantic oak tree in the distance. It was covered in intricately designed carvings and artwork. The tree seemed ancient and kind of eerie, but it had an old, wise essence to it. "What do you make of it, brother?"

Kylon:
As the two brothers continued on their journey, their attitudes began to change, and so did the landscape. One for the better, and the other less and less with each step. With the barrens and desolate land behind them, their travels now found them in a lush green forest with healthy growth sprouting up all around them, and the thick trees casting dark shadows on the mossy ground.
Kylon grumbled, his patience had worn very thin, as he looked around the greenery and sniffed the air with resentment. They had come so far, and with all the ground they had covered, they had still not come across hardly a scent to follow. Shamelessly and clearly, the gray and gold wolf had let his frustrations show, but the smaller male simply followed his brother silently, a hint of impatience in the twitching of his ears, but if he was feeling any real emotions, he didn't let them show. Kylon admired his brother's ability to not let his emotions overtake him, but right now, the golden brother snapped and his head flung around to face Lykos with white fangs protruding from under his lifted lip. "Well at least sniff around for anything helpful!" Kylon's snarl dropped in surprise as his eyes dartted around for his brother. The dark blue pelted he wolf had slunk off in the shadows, but now his voice spoke out. "uh...Kylon, look at this," A bit ashamed at his out lash of anger, Kylon trotted over to where he heard Lykos, and stopped next to him, staring up at the same giant tree that his brother was nervously gawking at. "What do you make of it, brother?" Kylon squinted at the markings that adorned the skin of the tree's trunk, confusion swelling in his mind as he struggled to get some sort of understanding, but none came to him. He slowly replied, making up something that made sense.
"This must be a sign that wolves are near by, and by the looks of these marks, hopefully evil." In honesty, Kylon had no idea if this marked tree meant the near presence of other wolves, he just wished it did. Low-and-behold, a strange scent drifted on the air, and the gray and gold wolf perked his ears and mumbled, "Wait..."

Jess: Jess had been asleep. She was having a bad dream, and it was unbearably scary. She awoke with a gasp, her breathing hard. She shook herself fully away, finding herself alone. She knew she should be used to it by now, with all of her brothers and friends missing. She sighed, and began her day. Standing from a ragged old pelt from a old elk, she shook herself. Yawning, she used memory to find the small nook she stored her food. Taking out a mouse, she ate in in one bite.
After grooming herself and pulling a pouch-like contraption over her shoulder. Putting on a brave face, she stepped outside of her den. Finding reassurance in the well-worn path, she followed her nose to a great spot. The carved tree, the one she always based gathering expeditions around. Start at the carved tree, find the way back and there back home. Today, it seemed bleaker then normal. It started drizzling. Jess growled, sick of her life at the moment. Her tail lashed, her claws dog into the path and she growled even louder. This was just her luck! It was starting to rain, she was hungry, and she was alone! She was craving company.
She was so lost in her own misery at that moment that she didn't notice she had reached the tree until her nose hit the tree. She stifled a yelp and a growl. "It's just a stupid tree, she told herself. She was just getting more and more sick of it and more and more lonely. She didn't care what way the wind was blowing, she didn't care she could't smell the two voices... Wait! Voices=Wolves, Wolves=Company! She turned her head in the direction of the voices, her evergreen blue eyes bright with sudden happiness. "Hello! I can't see you," she let out a laugh that should have been dry, but she just was enjoying laughing so much that it might have been a real joke, "I know your there! I heard you, come on over, I don't bite." She smiled wide at this, her tail wagging. Please please please come over...

Lykos: The blue male's ears drooped when his brother snapped at him. Come on, Lykos! he scolded himself, Why can't you do anything right? then realized he had no idea why his brother was mad at him. Kylon's anger then cooled when he peered at the mysterious tree. He had probably just been getting impatient and frustrated with the long journey like Lykos had been. It was hard to imagine his brother ever acting out or making a single mistake, but sometimes Lykos forgot that Kylon was no more of a wolf than he was. Together the brothers observed the oak tree. It was strange and slightly eerie. Kylon's comments about it didn't help explain anything either, but it was good to know that they would find more wolves soon enough.
Suddenly there was another voice. Lykos perked his head up in the direction of the voice. There stood a young tan-colored she wolf calling to them. She seemed awfully happy to see the two for some reason. Had they met before? Lykos didn't recognize her face and worse, she didn't seem very evil. Was this possibly someone they needed to kill? Lykos shuddered at the thought. He didn't know why, but he shuddered. Anyone else would have been pleased with the thought, or perhaps had gotten ready for a fight, but Lykos shuddered, not at the idea of possibly getting injured in the fight or how much work it would be to attack her, but at the thought of her dying and he being the one who caused the death.
Lykos stood back. He decided to let his brother make the first move. Kylon often knew the best thing to do, and Lykos trusted him more than anyone else, so he took a step back and gestured in the wolf's direction, waiting for his brother to give further instructions or move toward the stranger.

Kylon:
"Hello, I can't see you," Kylon whipped his head around at the cherry voice that called out to them from deeper in the greenery. His ears flattened, and his tail lashed in anticipation. "Ah... Greetings." The gray muzzle let the words out gruffly, and with a hint of a growl as his lips twitched in a scowl. The brothers had found another wolf, but even though their mission was progressing (finally), they still had to be cautious about who they crossed paths with. The sweet little voice sounded too happy to be coming from an evil wolf, and as soon as she was visible, Kylon judged the tan and black-faced she-wolf. She was small and cute with larger than normal ears, especially for her size, and the golden brother would have been thrilled to ruin her pretty little smile with blood, but that was NOT what he intended. No, Kylon intended to play the friendly card and act all nice with a darker side to his approach. Sometimes violence wasn't always the way to go, and with two good looking brothers such as Lykos and Kylon, convincing this cheerful bright female to join the rise of evil wouldn't be that difficult, right?
No, Wait!
Kylon squinted at the shrouded green eyes that stuck out like algae in the muddy face of the tan wolf. The young female was lacking sight, she said it herself, "I can't see you." Well, although the good looks wouldn't work to throw her off, smooth deceptive words could easily be the tool to "blindly" lead her to the ways of evil. Kylon made a smirk as he thought about his brilliant idea to go about their mission, deceiving and misleading anywolf they come across to join and help spread the growth of evil. A slight hesitation in his mental thoughts hindered Kylon from speaking what he was going to say next. His expertise was mainly in aggression and physical force, but he also had his way with using his words. The golden eyes glanced over at his brother, a look that said " let's make friends with her", but also a sly "let's use her" meaning.
Kylon stepped forward a few feet, dragging his large paws on the ground as he neared the small blind wolf. A huge twisted smile displayed on his maw and shared it with his brother who still stood behind him. He had held back submisivly and waited for Kylon to make the first move, which the other brother thought was wise. The she-wolf only stood a leap in front of the gray and gold male when he finally spoke up in a deep silky voice. "we are right here little she-wolf, my brother and I were just traveling along when you came by. Isn't it a bit dangerous for you to be all alone?" Kylon emphasized "dangerous, and all alone." "You could travel with us. My name is Kylon, and my brother's is Lykos." Lykos hadn't spoken up at all yet, so Kylon threw him a sharp glare before turning back to the she-wolf. She couldn't see, so the two brothers had the advantage of communicating visually with eachother, but they had to watch the sounds they made, because those large ears could probably detect a lot.
Watching the small tan wolf, Kylon wondered how she would react to the offer, after all they were two complete strangers to her, but she seemed very friendly and carefree about such things as strangers. She seemed to be one easily manipulated, so Kylon wouldn't be to sceptical about her traveling with them. Besides, the company of two evil wolves would definitely influence one good soul if that was her alliance. High hopes were in the golden brother's heart as a waited to hear the she-wolf's reaction.

Jess: Jess smiled brightly, her tail wagging."I'm Jess, it is a pleasure to meet you two. And yha, I'm not really supposed to be by myself, I guess. My family is kind of.. Well, dead. As far as I know, they are all dead. Well, my brothers went missing. My parents are dead to me because they tried to kill me and my brothers as puppies." She shrugged, "So, yha. I'm not supposed to be by myself, but I am." Jess just rattled that off. She said it very nonchalantly. Without emotion, like she was commenting on the weather. Then her friendly demeanor was back. "Enough about me, where are you guys from? I'm from the Ruins, but you guys smell more like rocks, so... Barrens? Mountains? Outside the valley? I've never met anyone from outside the valley, I've lived here my whole life. What's it like out there?" Her curiosity was peaked, and the charcoal tipped tail was wagging.
Sitting down, she tried to memorized their voices. Well, Kylon was the only one who had spoken thus far, but she was memorizing his voice. If Kylon spoke she would memorize his too.

Lykos: The brown and tan she wolf's soft green eyes were clouded, giving Lykos the impression that she must be blind. Beneath the surface of the look Kylon shot him lied a message or signal of some sort. Lykos was never very skilled at interpreting these kinds of things. However, he could sense it was something friendly, perhaps converting her to evil. That was a relief. Lykos nodded at his brother's look, then turned to the little blind she wolf. Her name was Jess, and she apparently had a quite tragic backstory, although she showed not a hint of emotion. It was impressive how some wolves could feel no pain toward the sadness of their past. Lykos was always raised to believe it was a sign of strength, and it was something he wished he had. He was truly a weakling in his pack, worthy of no honor or glory, but things would change. This mission was his time to prove himself, to his alpha, his family, his brother.
Jess babbled on, as though the two were the first wolves she had ever spoken to in years, which was quite possible. She asked them where they were from. "We are from a pack outside the valley, far away from here." he said. Lykos turned to Kylon, hoping for a look of approval from his brother.

Kylon:
Deep golden eyes watched the small she-wolf smile and reply excitedly, her happiness seemed a bit to much for the evil brother, and he made it a point along with her conversion he would simmer her cheerful attitude. "I'm Jess, it is a pleasure to meet you two..." Kylon flicked his ear listening to the almost annoying voice of this new acquaintance, but his brows furrowed deeply when she said that her parents were dead. This struck Kylon with confusion. How could she be so nonchalant about such a subject, and even her tone had absolutely no hint of emotion whatsoever. This made the large gray and gold male start to think; this Jess was pretty much dead to any feelings for her parents, so that could be used as a way to evil thinking, but he still didn't know her emotional ties with other elements such as other relationships of even taking lives herself. For now however, Kylon just had to focus on getting her to trust them.
"Enough about me, where are you guys from?" Flicking his golden stripped tail, Kylon was about to reply when Lykos spoke up. Kylon almost forgot about his brother who had crept up a bit closer, but was still behind him. A half glare was thrown over his shoulder to Lykos, but at the same time Kylon was glad his brother answered that question, Jess needed to hear his voice. A small smirk showed past Kylon's glare, he was glad Lykos was with him, because for some reason he always seemed to be the one others trusted first. Kylon was only a little jealous at this, but right now he couldn't afford to argue about that, they needed to work as a team to bring wolves under the influence of evil, and it was looking pretty bright with their first culprit.
"Well Jess, since your family is... ah gone, you could stay with us. We are strong, we can protect you." Kylon took a step closer, making sure his overwhelming size and presence was felt by the puny she-wolf before he continued. "And in return, you can help us find more wolves, I'm sure you are very good at smelling. Because like my brother said, we are new here, and we are trying to find other wolves... wolves that are like us." He lowered his voice to a deep rumble, "You wouldn't suppose you could do that, would you?"

Jess: Jess smiled, naively. "Wow! You two are from outside? That must be so cool! Wow, now I can tell you guys all kinds legends. I learned all about the stories from Iallo, a old friend. She went to a White Wolf a got a power! She could talk to people with her mind, it was awesome. Oh, I'm rambling again. Sorry." She grinned, sheepish. She listened to Kylon intently, nodding along. "I would love to, Kylon. You two are my best bet to get out of the forest, and out of my boring life!" She was happy to be going with them, and her face was bright with curiosity. "What are you two waiting for?"~Exit Jess~

Lykos: His brother seemed friendly enough, but his voice was still dark and creepy sounding. Lykos admired his brother more than anyone else, but if they were trying to gain this she wolf's trust, was this the best way to go about doing so? Because a lot of wolves were able to detect dark intentions in voices. But apparently, Jess was not one of these wolves. She fell right into their trap.
Lykos considered saying something to lighten the mood, or at least make them sound friendlier, but worried about saying the wrong thing, or something that would give them away. He just smiled when Jess said "What are you two waiting for?" though he knew she couldn't see him, then gestured to Kylon the direction they were heading in. "You're right. Let's keep moving. You can tell me some of those legends on the way, Jess"

Kylon:Lykos continued to give his brother hesitant looks, as if he wasn't certain if what he was saying and doing was good enough. The golden and gray wolf smirked at the other, reasuring him. Kylon trusted his brother's judgement and let him make the call on where to go. He noticed the smile he made at the blind female and chuckled to himself, Lykos wasn't attracted to her was he? Jess seemed dumb enough to not run away from them, and her cheerful personality was very annoying. How could Lykos smile at that. She hardly knew them, and was whiling to follow them blindly, literally blindly. How dumb could a wolf be!? Lykos spoke up and agreed with Jess, and then continued with saying that he would love to hear some of her legends on the way. ' Please no.' Kylon nodded at his brother's direction, and made a flat expression when Lykos turned his back. This was going to be a grrrrrrrreeeaaaaat time. The golden eyes rolled and his ears dropped in annoyance as he followed his brother and the skippy she-wolf that bounded near the gray and blue wolf. ' Why would Lykos even suggest that?' Kylon could already imagine her voice echoing through the trees and scaring off wild animals and birds as they walked. He couldn't wait to turn her evil, and if that meant by hurting her or breaking her cheerful spirit, than he would be pleased. -Exit Kylon- @pittypat Tiel
