Renegade:
She pursed her lips and considered the information she was giving him before volunteering her name. Solaria. She suspiciously asked why he was sorry to hear about her parents, he hadn't done anything to them. ...He tried to remember, hadn't Azerath asked a similar question to his offered condolences? Had he offered condolences? No, she'd been more timid, more naive, she'd accepted them gratefully, if he remembered correctly. He shrugged, "When there's nothing for a body to do about a situation, we start being sorry. I don't know why and I don't know what it gets done, but I am sorry." with her name in mind (and her sisters', Lunara and Starla) he resumed his query. "Tell me Miss Solaria, how would you, Starla and Lunara like to travel with us for a while? You were traveling weren't you? I can smell your trail quite a ways back." he crouched down to her eye-level. "Whaddya say?"
A new, murky, rancid scent filled his nostrils and the gentle smile he was trying to offer the stubborn scrap of fluff disappeared. His ears snapped up and to attention and Purge's head whipped around as she too recognized the presence of an enemy to pups. He bolted upright in time to see a cantankerous old she-badger waddle up from her den in the burrows and tunnels of the warren and hiss and growl at the five canines for disturbing her nap. Renegade held still, ice-blue eyes boring into the badger's, watching for her reaction.
"Purge," he kept his voice low and moved his lips as little as possible, "Pick up Starla and back away very slowly. Lunara, Solaria, if you would turn and follow Mistress Purge," he gave a slight nod for them to look at the angry badger and consider his request.
