Skyla:
With new dreams that she never knew she had were accomplished, she felt even greater than usual. The basin that is filled high with water in Autumn and Spring, was now just a frozen bowl. She tapped it with a single claw, though nothing broke away. It was definitely not just a thin sheet, though she wouldn't want to test its strength by walking over it, Skyla was going to pass on the freezing water of death attraction here at Meadow's Edge. She had temporarily left Darkmoon to his own wanderings and adventured on further to explore the valley and meet new wolves. They could be Evil for all she cared, all Skyla wanted was some mildly pleasant company. Though company that was not inclined to kill her on sight was probably preferred. Make that any wolf that wanted to kill her at all. The she-wolf sighed deeply and watched as the light clouds drifted along the steel sky. It wasn't snowing, but still the Winters chill bit at her. Maybe she should take some cover, but if she did, then there was a large possibility any company at all would pass her without even knowing she was there.
So she stayed. Seconds quickly turned to minutes and those minutes turned into hours. Skyla decided if any wolf was going to turn up any time soon, that it would not simply come and then leave in the short time she disappeared into the remaining foliage around the Basin to hunt. She bounded quickly into the further depths of the place, her nose taking a small while to pick up even the faintest of scents. When the she-wolf did, she smiled pleasantly. It seemed to be a vole, though she could tell it wasn't well fed from the not-so-fresh smell of it. It wasn't sick, which was good for her, but it was malnourished meaning t would be thin and mostly bones. It was better than nothing though so she began to hunt.
And that's when her company finally appeared...
