conspiracyArani; A stern look is plastered across the female's face, darkening her features considerably. Her intimidating stature is only emphasized by the atmosphere that surrounds her and the humidity that fills the air makes it seem as though her body is much bigger than it really is, which is already huge to begin with. A small snarl escapes the throat of Arani, her lips curled down as she bares her teeth at nothing in particular. At the moment, her mood seemed to drop, her usually friendly demeanor is darker and she's much more bitter than usual. Maybe it's the loss of friends, or maybe due to the fact that she can't seem to find her bother just about anywhere. Knowing him, he's probably done something that seems impossible for any wolf, like start a society that lives in the trees or something ridiculous like that. Either way, it would've been nice of him to give her a bit of a heads up before suddenly dropping off the face of the earth as he did. With all of the thoughts racing through her mind being purely negative, she can't seem to find any way to cheer herself up from her strange and unexpected agitation, although fairly common for the female. Suddenly, the female is brought back to reality from the wind whistling past her slightly droopy ears. It wholely blew past her, her body not being shielded by anything. Last she remembered she was in the more uneven ground of the mountains and yet, now she's in the open. A quick scan of the area provides her with enough information to come to the conclusion that she's lost and far from her original path. Seemingly, she's stuck in the middle of the barrens. It's empty and various dead shrubs litter the area, not doing much to add any color to the area as they're all a faded brown and shriveled up. Without her bad mood fleeing her body, she just gains confusion, creating a horrible concoction in her that's made up of one part apprehensiveness and two parts irritated. "Ugh! Are you kidding me? Of course! Just my luck to get lost in the middle of nowhere."The female begins to turn back around to find where she came from, however far away that would be.

Felan;
There was something about the barrens that had Felan continually coming back; it provided little shade, and lacked water. It could have been the silence that accompanied the place, It'd been almost peaceful. Her ears perked up as she came to a stop when hearing the footsteps of another. She sniffed the air; grinning as she scented out the female wolf.
Felan had been on her way to Kai lake to visit a friend but she couldn't pass up an opportunity to meet another wolf. Others brought entertainment, which she needed in a place like this; though she only sought out friendly interactions. The not so friendly ones came with meeting new wolves especially in the wastes. Evil wolves seemed to frequent this place more than the good or neutral ones did. Though Felan could easily defend herself if she needed too; she'd rather avoid fighting in a place that was void of nearly everything.
"Ugh! Are you kidding me?” There goes the silence; Felan chuckled before peering over at the wolf. Her huge fiery tail swished behind her as she thought of approaching the larger wolf. Though small the wolf wasn't intimidated by the others towering size; but she could see that the other seemed to be in bad mood. “Of course! Just my luck to get lost in the middle of nowhere."
Giving it a little less thought than usual; Felan confidently, but slowly approached the other wolf. The wolf hadn't been around the lands that much but she knew her way around the wastes; and the female seemed to be in need of some guidance. “The Barren Waste isn't a place you'd want to get lost in. It's lack of water can be more dangerous; than anything lurking within it.”

Jake;
The young male hummed, he was alone and yet he didn’t care. He was much larger than average, perhaps mid grown bear sized. He even looked liked a bear, jus change his pelt color and you would confuse him for a bear. Jake stood on his hind legs and shifted his head from the left to the right. He sniffed out two other wolves, female to be exact. Jake smiled, wondering if they were friendly, he then was on all fours and he slowly trotted to approach these females. He then stopped at his tracks just before walking up to them, he looked at the large female and he made a small closed mouth smile, then he glanced at the small female. He saw her fiery tail, Jake tilted his head and continued to smile. He finally approached the females slowly and he twitched his ears. Looking at the large female she looked a bit in a bad mood, but looking at her size Jake only wondered if she was his size when she was younger. Then Jake glanced again at the smaller wolf, he was towering over her, Jake was confused then, where did he get his huge size from?
His pelt ruffled up to give it a more soft apprearance. Fluff all around and he decided to sway his tail. He waited for either one of them to say something, the darker part of his eyes sparked a little as he then suddenly got a bit excited but he did not look excited, his tail just swayed a lot faster.

Arani;
The towering female sharply turns on her back paws, a snarl readily on her face, prepared to snap at any sort of danger, but she quickly relaxed seeing a wolf with such calm nature approach and offer up some knowledge, although fairly obvious knowledge at that. Arani opened her mouth to question the much smaller wolf before another, bear-like wolf pops out of nowhere. The black-pelted female furrows her eyebrows, confused at the sudden amount of wolves showing up randomly, and in the barrens. She turns her head back and forth, looking between the two wolves, clearly confused and slightly concerned that she's getting ambushed by a soon-to-be-visible hoard of wolves.
"Uh. Ok. Be straight up with me- Is this an ambush?"
The question, paired with an unfittingly calm voice travels through the slightly foggy territory of the barrens. Arani nods toward the smaller female,
"I mean thanks for the heads up, but, like, is this an ambush?" The calm female's eyebrows raise almost as if they're questioning the two on their own. She then turns her head to the sides, looking to see if there are any other wolves that are hiding behind, well, nothing, waiting to jump out and attack.

"Uh. Ok. Be straight up with me- Is this an ambush?" Felan chuckled lightly; at the mention of an ambush. She'd been just as surprised when the young male trotted up to them; meeting one wolf in the barrens was common. Two was less common; it was a path that most wolves avoided going through. The female nodded at her, her eyes looking around to see if it was indeed a trap."I mean thanks for the heads up, but, like, is this an ambush?"
”If this were an ambush; you wouldn't be questioning it.” Felan chuckled her lips pulling up into a sly grin; her tail swayed behind her slow and relaxed. She hadn't known if her words would unnerve the female; but Felan hadn't put any malice behind the words. It was just a coincidence that the other wolf showed up when he did. She could have mistaken him for a bear; if it weren't for his scent that identified him as a wolf. A bear-like wolf. Though both wolves easily towered over her; she was beginning to think that she was the smallest wolf in the valley. Not that she cared if she were or not. “Though it's not an ambush; well at least I'm not planning any ambushes. What about you?” She asked, tone teasing while her gaze found the younger males.
From the looks of him she could easily tell from the way his tail swayed behind him that this wolf was on the friendlier side. Felan sat down, her huge tail acting as a cushion for her rear; she then peered over at the other two. Wondering briefly if she should introduce herself or let the other go first.

Jake;
He hid a smile," Oh wow! Maybe at this point I can Mae great friends of these two!" Jake said in his mind before glancing at the fiery female. "I mean thanks for the heads up, but, like, is this an ambush?" he heard the older female say. Jake looked at her, not saying a word, but just as he were about to say something he fiery female spoke. "If this were an ambush; you wouldn't be questioning it." She said and Jake chuckled a little "though it's not an ambush; well at least I'm not planning any ambushes. What about you?" The younger female asked him teasingly. Jake continued to chuckle, thinking of how Dawn would act just the same "Of course I don't plan any, that's just rude. But if it were an ambush I would totally be ready for it!" he said, jumping into a defensive stance and with a small smirk on his face.
He glanced at the older one "And besides, who would want to ambush you? You're too big! Wait... Oh, that's probably why someone would want to do that." Jake shook his head, "Oh never mind that. I'm Jake! But my friends call me Jay. What's y'all's name?" he tilted his head and gave a soft closed mouth smile.

Arani;
The female nods quietly, but pauses to squint her eyes suspiciously at the female and she speaks in a joking tone,
"Or maybe you're trying to throw me off, so it's more of a surprising surprise attack." The much larger female turns to the male, with the same, joking suspicion, backing away from the two slowly and carefully, as though they were about to attack her or something.
"Trying to throw me off I see. Are you two working together? Are you from an evil pack looking to impress your higher-ups. If I were you, I'd totally not attack me. Instead, attack a more reputable wolf." Her lower-than-usual voice pauses for a second as the black-pelted female's expression changes slightly, a frown appearing on her face as she speaks the last bit of her sentence, "You see, I am a mere lowlife of a wolf. The bottom of the barrel. A real troublemaker, and completely homeless as of five seasons ago. I would be disappointing as a target despite my size because I'm weak and scrawny from days without a meal." Of course, she exaggerated a bit more than she had to and she wasn't what should be considered scrawny or weak by any means, but what a better time to go joking around than in the presence of two completely unknown wolves... Right?
In all actuality, she knew better than to expose herself completely to two strangers and that is evident as she's kept her guard up the whole time, her eyes not leaving the two and her ears staying raised and alert to any noise in the general vicinity, twitching in the direction of any sound, mostly caused by the wind whistling past. She's learned as much from her brother along with most of her other survival tactics with other wolves and rule number one; Never let your guard fall around the unknown. It gives a perfect opportunity for them to find a weak point. A perfect to strike.
With her towering, wall-like defenses still up, she smiles, although the atmosphere around her radiates 'intimidating' not just her size, but her sturdy body and her sharp, stern features. The smile she gives is almost the opposite of this. It gives a somewhat bitter-sweet feel that goes along perfectly with her honeyed voice,
"Arani. Sister of the strict, harsh, unsparing Baal." Not really though. Arani has to admit that with her, he's a pushover. He's pretty friendly when you talk to him, but he's far bigger and the aura he carries with him is much more intense than Arani's. He's almost fearsome from afar and it can be quite a shock to meet him. But as soon as he pulls out his signature, welcoming smile, his eyes that could tear a wolf down suddenly soften and become lighter and friendly. It can be jarring to experience at first, but the female has gotten so used to ignoring him that she barely notices how intimidating wolves around her can be.
She can't seem to figure out if it's beneficial to her, or damaging.

Felan;
She couldn't decide whether to laugh or too play along; Felan wanted to go with the latter. Tell the larger female that this was indeed an ambush, but she couldn't be bothered with doing that. The wastes always depleted a good amount of energy because of the lack of nourishment; though she couldn't deny that the appeal of teasing another, outrided the need to put the other wolves mind at ease. Somehow though she knew that the wolf had a right to be somewhat suspicious; most of the time evil wolves or ones with bad intentions dwelled within the barrens. Though Felan guessed that the harsh element would call out to wolves of such caliber; then again she was here and the other two didn't strike her as being evil either. Still, it goes without being said that when it came to making friends; she wasn't the best at it due to that thing in front of her face, Felan called a mouth.
The female still had her guard up, an awkward grin on her face as she eyed the two; she did chuckle a little at that. Despite the situation Felan found her expression to be comical.
“You caught us,” Felan nodded slowly, head turning to look at the male beside her before looking back towards the female. “This is definitely an ambush and a dozen wolves are hiding behind that very thin, dying twig of a tree. Their hidden so well that it's as if their not even there.” She said, the amount of sarcasm in her voice was astounding even for her. If anything it would get her point across or either go over Arani’s head completely. The small female was sure that the barren waste wasn't a good place to attempt to ambush another wolf. Their just simply wouldn't be anywhere decent enough to hide but maybe that was just her opinion.
“I'm Felan, and I have no intentions of attacking you.” She turned to the male; head tilting curiously as she looked up, before turning back towards Arani.

Jake;
He tilted his head "No, you silly girly! I didn't came here to ambush you! I came to make friends!" he looked at both females and wagged his tail even more "My intentions are harmless, I promise!" he yiped as he create a huge, friendly smile to his bear-like face. And to prove he wasn't such a bad wolf, he decided to be his playful self and run around the females, hopping around as he ran. And even for a pup his size he was pretty fast, and full of energy "See? I'm not a bad wolf!" he said now stopping at his tracks and sitting besides the fiery female.
He opened his maw and stuck his tongue out, playfully. He let his tongue hang from one side as he then looked at Arani and Felan, hoping he didn't bother them when he was running around "I'm sorry if I annoyed you guys," Jake blushed a pink rose color "my bad." Jake said and shook his pelt again. Then he wrapped his tail around himself and spoke "But, it's nice meeting you guys!" Jake said almost quietly so that he wouldn't annoy them just in case he did annoy them earlier.

(Omg guys I am actually the worst I am so so so so so so so sorry this took so long...)
Arani;
The female lets out a huff of air like a sigh of relief, yet she never lets her guard fall. She lets out a small laugh just before letting her voice pass her lips,
"I suppose I'll believe you two for now, but just know... I am always ready!" She laughs once more accentuating her point of the entirety of what she's said had been an utter joke. The female shakes her head a few times, brushing away what she thinks is one of her funniest of jokes. Maybe enough playing around for today.
Suddenly, her joking tone is replaced with what she considers her normal voice as she speaks with a much more stern and authoritative voice that is slightly honeyed due to the small upturn of the corners of her lips. Her eyes are completely rid of the fake worry and playfulness and instead, they're fairly sharp and demanding but hold an underlying friendliness in the presence of the friendly souls before her.
"It's nice to meet you as well. I'm called Arani." She allows a small smile to grace her stern features, lightening them ever so slightly with the warmness laced within the intentions behind the friendly smile.

Felan;
Felan watched with a raised brow as the male ran circles around them, before sitting down beside her. An apology fell from his mouth, he'd hopped he hadn't annoyed the two in his attempts to prove his friendliness. “You're not the slightest bit annoying,” she laughed, tone relaxed and reassuring.
It'd been enough to convince the other female that an ambush wasn't planned. Enough for her to joke with the two of them making Felan's lips quirk up into a smirk as Arani laughed.
The smaller female chuckled at the others quirkiness; seeing that now she'd known neither of the two posed a threat to her. Which was a relief because she was growing tired of pleading her case; but it'd been entertaining. Entertainment was a rare thing to fine while traveling through the barrens; though that'd been due to the few things that lived here. Still, she did like it when she'd come across others that were friendly enough to have a conversation with. Felan also guessed that the male was younger than his size suggested; she herself wasn't that old.
”Well it's nice to meet the both of you,” Felan nodded, as her huge tail swayed behind her slowly. “So what brings you two to the barrens? Well I know you're lost,” She turned towards Arani, then to the Jake.”What about you?”

Jake;
The excited pup looked at the two females, Arani finally seemed like she would trust them. Jake's tail flicked up and down rapidly before listening to Felan's question "What about you?"
Jake paused, he suddenly stayed completely still, why was he here? Thinking about it, he didn't even know why. "Umm," he looked down at his paws "Um... Because... Oh! Because my family is around here and so my mommy said since I'm a big boy I can travel a little! And I wanna make some friends!" he said with his usual excited tone of voice as he then lays on his back and rolls around.
He was upside down when he spotted a puddle of mud, he quickly laid on his belly as he stared at the mud. He then trots and jumps in the mud puddle and rolls around in it. His body now covered in mud, he shook his fluffy fur and glanced at the two females, hoping he didn't get any mud on them. Jake didn't mind getting dirty, it was fun! And Jake was just so happy, he just wanted to play. He hangs his tongue out again and panted, with a small smile on his face.
