A little love for a Big wolf (Dead, I think)

Mistice walked across the forest floor. Light and fluffy snow covered the forest floor. He came to a clearing with a tiny spring in the middle. He howled, his voice tinted with ice. His shoulder bore the Water-Ice mark. He hoped for a female to hear him. His black fur now speckled with snow. His muzzle was white. He hoped for a kind female who would love him for who he was on the inside. Not that he was not hansom.

Amaridia was merely walking through the snow covered forest, her pale colored fur covered with the tiny, but cold, snow droplets. She looked to the sky, wondering if the snow would stop and allow her to warm just a bit. She snapped her head into the direction she believed the ice-hinted howl had came. She howled back, hoping the wolf on the other end found her, but wasnt looking to kill..

Mistice herd the reply. He started running, the sound of his breathing and the thump of his paws on snow were loud. He came up on Amardia, and stopped dead, skidding a little. She was the most beautiful wolf he had ever seen. He bowed his head and walked closer, trying to look smaller then he really was. "Hello, oh lovely one." he said, his voice was tinted with ice, but it was also warm and comforting.

Amaridia turned slowly to face the male that had called her lovely. "Hello." she replied, giving him a soft and warm smile. She wasnt sure if she wanted to stand beside him for warmth or run out of fear, so she simply stood, awaiting to hear or see his next move.

He smiled at her. "My name is Mistice, what might your's be?" he asked. He was truly big, even with his head down, but not threating. He seemed like the wolf he was on the inside. Kind, with a big heart with kind intentions.

"Amaridia." she replied, walking to sit under a tree, shelter from the falling snow. She shivered, but kept her posture.

He sat too. Still in the snow, but not even cold. His long black fur kept him warm. "I can tell your cold Amaridia. I'm from a very cold place, I know when wolves are cold." His gold eyes glinting with truth.

"And? What are you going to do about it?" she asked, continuing to shiver. She was used to chilly climates, but she never fully adapted to snow. Amaridia thought for a moment, before cautiously walking over to Mistice and sitting close beside him. She gently leaned against him, feeling slightly warmer. Amaridia was small and fragile compared to Mistice, but she sighed with content from the warmth between them, her hetero eyes closing as she began to relax. 'Big, but soft...' she thought, a small smile danced across her lips.

Mistice was surprised. No wolf had ever been this close to him before without having to be bribed or dared. He nuzzled her. She smelled like summer, flowers, and trees......... And other sents he had never smelled. She was also kind. Mistice wondered if she liked him. He definitely liked her. He raised his head, and stopped holding his belly in. Revelling his was a much bigger wolf then most. He also curled his tail around Amaridia. It was a fluffy black tail, perfect for keeping paws warm in winter.

Amaridia opened her eyes, looking up at Mistice with an unrecognizable look. It wasn't hate, but more along the line of like-ing. She gently layed her head against his shoulder, grateful for the warmth. Her shivering subsided as she felt the much larger male wrap his tail around her. Amaridia smiled as she breathed in his scent of Winter, mint, and something sweet she couldnt really think of a name for. Looking up at him, she asked softly, "Im cold, mind if we talk somewhere warmer?" she was hoping he had a den, or something she could sleep in.

He looked away, embarrassed. He had no real home. His family would never let him back to the mountain, and he had never bother with a den. He looked around, hoping for a hollow tree. He looked at the bows of the trees. Some seemed dead, others more frozen. "Ute-oh" he muttered. The frozen trees only meant one thing, Tree explosions. He walked over to a dead tree. Ramming his side against it, a small hole reviled a hollow and largish inside. He smiled, a perfect den. "Over hear." he invited. He waited for her before struggling in himself.

Amaridia easily slid into the hollow tree, her tail brushing under Mistice's chin. "Its fine for a good rest." she said softly, curling up tightly to make room for Mistice and to keep warm. She began to shiver once more, since the snow surrounded tree was chilly inside. Straining herself, Amaridia made herself not shiver, hoping Mistice wouldn't notice she was cold and curl up beside her. Yes, she liked him, but she didnt know if he felt the same for her, so she decided to keep her posture, despite her slight cough and occasional shiver.

Mistice sat guard. But seeing Amaridia shiver and cough, so he lay down next to her. She felt cold, but she was starting to warm up. He lay his head on his paws, and fell asleep.

Amaridia blushed at the feel of the larger body beside her, but instantly drifted off, using Mistice's furry back as a pillow.

Mistice sighed. He was happy as a plum, and really hoped, that hen he asked, Amaridia would say yes.
