Blaise:
Blaise gave Amora a hard look. The pup wasn't ready for solid meat. No doubt, she would have a stomach ache later. Hopefully it wouldn't be any worse than that, an ache. She was about to scold Amora for ignoring the meat that Blaise had chewed up for her when a chilly breeze blew through her charcoal black fur. Blaise lifted her head, breathing in the air. It's cool taste and decaying scent spoke of oncoming Autumn. The end of summer would mean the end of Blaise's chance to answer the call of the flames. She had hoped their pace would be faster. They had to get moving now!
As Amora called her impatience to leave, Blaise turned to check on Foxtrot, and felt surprised as he began talking. She listened as he expressed his fear of water. No wonder he'd not wanted a bath. Then she watched as he sprung into the creek. She smiled as she saw him smile, conquering a fear was a very rewarding feeling. Blaise nodded as Foxtrot asked a question then she announced,"Let's go then!" and scooped up the eager Amora. She motioned for Foxtrot to pick up Ruko and follow. Blaise set a fast, trotting pace. She winced every time her foot was jolted by her steps. Blaise blocked out the pain and focused on the path before her. Her power awaited. There wasn't any need to wait to get a power. In fact, there was now a deadline to arrive at the White Wolves' cave. So she didn't have any time to wait.
-Exit Blaise-
Ruko:
Ruko rolled his golden yellow eyes at Amora. Why did she always have to be so... annoying? He'd show her. He'd show her that he could eat solid meat, too. As Ruko leaned forward to pull off a strip of meat, Foxtrot spoke his name. Ruko turned quickly, his ears pricked. His eyes were wide as Foxtrot jumped into the water. Fear was controllable. Fear was conquerable. Ruko didn't need to be afraid of becoming a coward because he could change his fear. Ruko turned back to the pheasant, thinking over this new revelation. As he leaned forward once again to bite off some meat, Mommy took Amora and began their departure. Ruko quickly slurped up the chewed meat that Amora had pushed away. His hunger was still unsatisfied and he didn't want to risk having an empty stomach just to get one piece of stubborn, solid meat. He limped after Mommy. His eyes found Foxtrot, still dripping from his bath. Foxtrot wasn't a coward like Daddy. Foxtrot was brave. Ruko was sure that the male would help him be brave, too.
