Amora watched the female closely. She was strange. She was brave enough to stick around, but her aura was that of a coward. She shrugged and immediately rushed over to her. Her fur was silvery with blue speckles. It looked like the waterfall must out side. Maybe that's why her names Mysti you idiot! She thought to herself. Amora prodded her with a charcoal paw. "Have you seen my daddy?" she whispered, not wanting Ruko to hear. She supposed that if she was searching for someone than she might've seen her dad along the way. "Mom says he looks alot like Ruko but without this face stripes. He has a fluffy mane on his neck as well." Amora said, remembering the stories that happened in the burning cave. That day made Amira shiver. Ruko had changed completely that day. She looked over her shoulder warily.

Ruko:
Ruko started at Amora. How did she know what Daddy looked like? Mommy hadn't ever told them, had she? Ruko's dream version of Daddy had looked very much like Amora's description except without the long fur on his neck. Then Ruko realized that Amora's description of Daddy and Mysti's description of Savu were very similar, maybe even identical. It was as if lightning strike zapped in that cave. There was a moment of silence as the words that had been spoken sunk in. Ruko's eyes looked at each of the wolves in that cave wondering if they would realize the same thing he had. Ruko wasn't sure if he could really accept that his Daddy and Mysti's Savu were the same wolf. Then Ruko voiced a thought that'd been bothering him. In a quiet voice that was more meant for Ruko's own ears rather than the others, he whispered, "But Daddy's name is Scorpius not Savu..."
Mysti:
Mysti's ears rang. She felt dizzy. How... Why? Savu looked exactly like the wolf that was Amora's daddy. Mysti's mind couldn't quite comprehend wait this information meant. Was Savu their father? Or was this some kind of coincidence? No, it couldn't be. Amora had even mentioned his mane-like fur around his neck. Mysti stumbled away and huddled against a cave wall. She didn't understand how this could happen.
Savu had fallen in love with this Blaise. These were his pups. No wonder the pup named Ruko was so familiar. Mysti knew Savu had some history that he hasn't been proud of. Were these pups from his history? No, they couldn't be. Ruko and Amora were much too young they looked no more than two seasons old. That would mean their birthday was in Spring. Mysti and Savu had parted ways at the end of winter. Mysti's vision blurred with tears as her fear had been confirmed. Savu had found another mate. He had taken her advice. Advice that Mysti had hated herself for giving.
Savu was probably with Blaise. She would see him when Blaise returned. But there was something wrong. Amora had been wondering whether Mysti had seen their dad as if they were looking for him. Was Savu not with Blaise anymore? Where was he? What if something terrible had happened to him? Could it be possible that her beloved Savu was... dead? Mysti wasn't sure if she could forgive herself if that had happened. It would be all her fault. If she hadn't been so blind to the impact her words had on him, he wouldn't have left. Savu would be with her.

Foxtrot
He looked between the pups and Misti. Her description of Savu was highly similar to Ruko. Foxtrot'so eyes narrowed as he considered the possibility. Then Amora described her father. He didn't remember Blaise ever mentioning their father other than the time that she told them he was a coward. Foxtrot also didn't recall that his name was Scorpius. Maybe I accidentally drifted off at that part. He shook his head. That doesn't matter right now.
His golden brown eyes shot back to Misti. She seemed to be in shock. Foxtrot observed her. Could her Savu and the pups' father be the same wolf? He shook his head again. This was none of his business. He was just babysitting the kids. Foxtrot looked at Misti. "I would love to help, but I have never met either Savu or Scorpius. According to Blaise, Scorpius left her after the pups were born." He shrugged. "Wish I could tell you more."

Amora shrugged. "Any way! You wants to play charades!?" The colorful shepup barked cheerfully, hopefully bursting the tension between the adults. This small dank cave was echoing with worry, confusion and a hint of anger. Amora didn't like that. She edged back to Ruko and nudged him with her nose.
(Sorry getting tired...)

Ruko:
Ruko shook himself out of the grim mood as Amora mentioned charades. He'd be awesome at this. His acting skills wouldn't fail him now. He may not have fooled that rabbit so many weeks ago but he had fooled the badger. That one time told of his awesomeness at acting. He hopped up an down in excitement and to practice in case he might need to be a rabbit. There was no doubt in Ruko's mind that he would completely rule this game. He smiled, his grin reaching ear to ear. There was nothing like a fun game to get his mind of... Elk scat! Why did he have to think about Daddy, again? It was so hard not to have Daddy cross his mind. Reminders of Daddy were everywhere. There was Mysti over against the wall, the tenseness inside the cave, Foxtrot and Amora's expression that seemed okay at first glance but they hid all the confusion that Daddy had cause, and Ruko. Ruko suddenly hated Daddy for a different reason than being a coward. Daddy had left his pups to suffer in the uncertainty of his disappearance. He'd left Ruko and Amora without something that they needed as much as they needed food. Daddy wasn't just a coward, he was an evil, selfish wolf, too.
Ruko pulled himself away from that dark train of thought. He had a game to play. He couldn't let Daddy's failure at being a dad cause him to lose this challenge of charades. "Can I go first! Can I! Can I! Can I!?" he yipped his excited manner returning. Just focus on the game.
Mysti:
Foxtrot's words did nothing to comfort Mysti. Savu still could be dead. Foxtrot could just be putting it mildly for Mysti's sake. Stop! She had to keep reminding herself that nobody had said Savu was dead. He was just missing until Blaise came to confirm his whereabouts. She wished Striken was there. She wished that her big brother was there to comfort her. She should've looked for him before starting out on this quest. Mysti had no idea where her brother was now. Last she'd seen him was... the day before Savu left. It'd been that long. More than six whole months. There was no way that Striken would still be at the Forest of Love. It was impossible that he'd stay there for that long, unless. Maybe he and that other she-wolf Andria had become more than friends? Mysti had no way to know, but that was no very likely considering how protective of her Striken was. He was probably traversing the whole valley looking for her. Perhaps Striken had caught up with Savu before Mysti. They might be fighting right now. The two of them did seem un-trustful of each other. Mysti shivered at the scene flashing in her head if the males met when she wasn't there to work out the misunderstanding.
There was the mention of charades from Amora. Mysti had no idea of what this game could be about. She'd never played it nor heard of it. She probably shouldn't play. Plust she wasn't in much of a mood to play games.

Foxtrot
The topic seemed to have faded and Foxtrot realized his chance to change the subject. Before he had a chance, Amora brought up charades. He smiled. It was a great way to loosen the tension. Was that what Amora had in mind? She was smarter than Foxtrot gave her credit for.
Foxtrot turned to Ruko who looked like he might jump out of his pelt. A laugh jumped up his throat and before he realized it Foxtrot was in a fit of laughter. He took deep breaths to gain control again. Tears sat at the corners of his eyes and he wiped them away. Once he had settled down enough, he addressed Ruko. "Of course! Go for it!" For just a short while Foxtrot seemed to have forgotten the strange female in the cave as he enjoyed the time he was spending with these two pups that he was growing attached to.

Amora immediately shut out everything else besides the following: Ruko-FoxTrot-The Game
The multi-colored pup placed her small paws firmly in the moss, dull black claws anchoring her down. Her head was lowered and her eyes wide, her tail straight up and erect in the dank air. Her charcoal ears were shoved forward and aimed on Ruko. All her senses eagerly picking up his every action. What was he going to act out? Was it going to be easy? Was is going to be hard? Would she guess wrong? Would she guess right? So many questions about the game arose in her mind, bubbling to the surface. Amora rolled her shoulders to relieve the pressure. It didnt matter, it was a game! Have fun! She reminded herself.

Ruko:
Ok, what should I act out? Ruko pondered over the huge decision. This choice could affect the whole outcome of the game. It could say whether Ruko won or lost. Ruko really wanted to win. Hmmm... He should probably save rabbit until later since he was so brilliant at acting like a rabbit. Maybe... oh! Ruko could totally act out howling! No, that'd be too easy. How about... oh! This would be perfect! It'd be so much fun to act out and Ruko was sure he'd win with this prize-winning idea. He could be... a bird! Yup! A bird equaled the perfect choice. Ruko would simply hop around on the ground at first, pecking at worms in the ground. Then he would fly around the cave. Time to act!
"Okay! Okay! Here I go! Ruko began his transformation into a bird. He began with one hop in place. Then another. Then he hopped forward. He cocked his head, like he'd seen birds do. Then he looked at the ground, searching for worms. Why weren't there any worms? Didn't the worms know that there was a very important game going on and that Ruko needed them in order to be a bird!? Well, he'd just have to improvise. He drew a squiggly line in the dirt and pretended the squiggly line was a worm. He pecked at the worm with his nose. When he finished pecking, the worm was gone. He must've picked it up with his beak! Now was the grand finale! Ruko did a big hop to warm up his flight muscles. Wait! Where were his flight muscles? Ruko assumed that his flight muscles would start working as soon as he started flying. Ruko leaped into the air, paws spread eagle. His flight muscles never kicked in. Instead, Ruko crashed, muzzle first, into the ground. He hopped up immediately. Ruko was a bird. He couldn't stay on the ground any longer. He needed to fly! Ruko leaped again, higher. Again, he landed in the dirt. He kept trying to fly, but kept failing. After a couple more attempts, Ruko decided to improvise again. The show must go on, after all! Ruko began running around the cave, leaping as much as possible. He needed to spend as much time in the air so that it'd look like he was flying. After about a minute of 'flying,' Ruko was panting and had to stop. His tail wagged. He was confident that he'd done an amazing job at being a bird. There was no way they couldn't guess. Maybe a bird would even fly in this cave to look at the wonderful bird named Ruko!
Mysti:
Mysti watched the game proceed. What was the point of this game? She sure couldn't tell from what she was seeing. Was it some sort of tag? But the other two players weren't chasing the running and jumping Ruko at all. Mysti shook her head, thoroughly confused by Ruko's performance and the whole thing in general. Maybe she should just get some sleep. She hadn't gotten a good night's sleep since... Mysti wasn't quite sure. She curled into a ball and attempt to gain some winks of sleep. It didn't come for quite a while. Not until the pounding of Ruko's paws stopped, did Mysti manage to drift into the darkness of sleep then into nightmares. Nightmares that'd been haunting her ever since Savu left. Though her mind was torment, her paws only twitched occasionally in response to the terrifying dreams. Not a sound escaped her mouth except the rhythmic sounds of her quick breaths.

Foxtrot
He sat, tail wagging, and watched the game. Ruko jumped up and began his performance. He seemed to be trying to grab the squiggle he drew on the ground by using his muzzle. Foxtrot's eyes narrowed unconsciously as he tried to think of what the pup could be acting out. An herbivore eating grass? He was hopping. It could be a rabbit. No, he was stabbing his head instead of grazing. He continued to think, wracking his brain for anything. Then Ruko began leaping and running around the room. Running. Leaping. Could he be a deer? No, deer don't stab the ground when they eat. Foxtrot cocked his head to the side. When he did, he noticed that Ruko looked like he was flying as he leaped into the air. He smiled. I get it now. A bird. Birds eat worms and fly. Foxtrot nodded his approval. Ruko had done well. It was a good choice. He opened his mouth to speak the answer, when he remembered Amora. This game was for the kids, he shouldn't steal all the glory. His mouth closed and he looked at Amora. Would she be able to get this?
Foxtrot continued to look at Amora, but he focused his senses on Misti. He didn't want her pulling anything while he wasn't paying attention. Soft breathing reached his ears and he realized that she had fallen asleep. That's good. Now she won't be an issue for a while. As he was about to turn his senses back to Amora, Misti's breath quickened. Foxtrot turned his head to her. She appeared to be having a nightmare. Curiosity built in his thoughts. What's she dreaming about? That was none of his business. He rotated his head back to Amora but kept his eyes on Misti. Then he stuck out his hind leg to poke her awake. He didn't want her messing up their game with her loud sleeping. Plus, he wasn't one to watch someone else drown in their pain or fear.

What on earth was he doing? He looked utterly ridiculous. Amora huffed with frustration. He was going to get a headache with all that knocking of his head. That squiggle wasn't going anywhere. Amora watched as her brother cocked his head. She too cocked it. What got headaches from nosing the ground, and what cocked its head? Then he began flopping into the stone and dust. That looks like it hurts. She decided. She better guess soon before he really damages himself. Could it be a snake? Snakes flop on their bellies. No, snakes don't nose the ground. Ooh! Maybe a fox or a badger! They cock their heads! No no no. They dont flop on their bellies!
Amora would never admit this, but she was having a hard time guessing. She glared at him, struggling to pick up each and every detail of his performance. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She gathered all the clues. What noses the ground for squiggles? What flops on their bellies? What cocks their heads? Then it hit her. It's not nosing the ground, its searching! It's not flopping on its belly, its...flying! Birds cocked their heads! Yes it's a bird! Amora's deep purple eyes brightened and she barked out her answer: "You're a bird!"

(Three characters having a conversation in the same post? This might be a little confusing)
Mysti:
Mysti jerked awake. It'd been the giant bear again. Mysti had witnessed the whole thing all over again. Then there'd been Savu. He'd been standing at the den entrance trying to protect Mysti. She'd seen him die at the claws of that terrifying bear. Then Mysti was left all alone, again. That was when Foxtrot woke her. The awakening was a relief, but Mysti wondered why Foxtrot had woken her. Maybe Blaise was back? Nope... The most likely reason was because Myst must've been making some noise, which was weird since Mysti had always been a silent sleeper. None of her dreams had ever cause her body to kick or cry out. Maybe this was a first. "Sorry if I was bothering you..." Mysti said quietly. She must've been bothering him in some way, else he wouldn't have bothered to wake her. Then the clicking sound of claws against stone whispered from the cave entrance. Blaise has returned! Mysti thought excited to get back to searching for Savu.
-Enter Blaise- Blaise:
Blaise's head was lowered as she entered the cave. There was no power mark on her pelt. Her request for a power was rejected. Now she'd have to face the disappointment of her pups. She looked up to see a strange female lying in the back of the cave. Blaise's head shot up. Her mind immediately spiraled off into the worries of the female's malicious intentions towards Ruko and Amora. Blaise examined the female, her eyes blazing in a protective fire. The female was skinny, too skinny. Not near big enough to give Blaise much trouble in a fight. Maybe the she-wolf was more of the spying, assassin type. Those who weasled their way into another wolf's trust. Then killed their targets when the wolf least expected. The lying piles of... Why was Foxtrot standing beside the female? Was this a wolf from his past? What was his past? Every wolf had a history, but Blaise had never bothered to learn Foxtrot's.
There was some sort of familiarity about this she-wolf. Had Blaise seen her someplace or was it just all in her head? Only way to answer any of these questions was to ask. But Blaise only needed one, "Who are you!?" Her voice was aggressive and on guard.
Ruko:
"Yes! Yup! You totally guessed it! Ok, ok! Your turn, Amora!" Ruko said bouncing up and down. Then he turned as he heard Mommy's voice. "MOMMY!!!" he yipped bounding towards Mommy. He skipped around Mommy, happily. "You're back! We were playing a game and I was a bird and I was super amazing at being a bird and I can show you! He began 'flying' again. Mommy would be so proud to see that Ruko was such a great bird. In no time, he'd be flying like a real bird.
Then Mommy's words that'd she'd spoken earlier registered in Ruko's mind. He was eager to introduce Mysti to Mommy. Mysti was looking for a wolf that looked almost exactly like Ruko. Mommy would definitely supply all the answers to his questions. Mommy knew everything! Well almost everything. He looked over at the gray she-wolf."Her name's Mysti!" Ruko felt so smart. He'd known something that Mommy hadn't. Now Mommy knew everything!
Blaise:
Blaise stopped stunned. She flicked through her memories. There it was. When Scorpius had left her... 'Once upon a time there was a wolf named Savu. He met a pretty she-wolf named Mysti. He saved her life, and in many ways, she saved his. Then one beautiful winter's night, she broke his heart. And from that day on, he vowed to do the same to every she wolf he met. And he changed his name that day. He changed his name to Scorpius.' Mysti... Was this Mysti? Was this cowering female the wolf that changed Scorpius into what he was? Maybe it was a different Mysti...
Mysti:
Mysti tried to become as small as possible. Blaise would hopefully provide answers but Mysti was unsure whether this black she-wolf would just attack her instead of answering her question. Despite the very real possibility of Blaise attacking her, Mysti asked her question, "I... I... I'm looking f... f.... for a w... w... wolf n... n... named Savu. Have y... y... you seem hi... im?"
Blaise:
That stuttered question told Blaise this was indeed Scorpius's Mysti. This wolf had broken Scorpius's heart which had caused him to seek revenge. That revenge had broken Blaise's heart, but had also given her pups. Her wonderful pups. Blaise didn't know how to react. At first she was angry, "You!" Blaise growled, ready to show Mysti how much Scorpius's betrayal had hurt. She reasoned with herself. Though Mysti's choice had guided Scorpius down the path he was racing down, Scorpius was accountable for his own actions. He still had a brain, didn't he?
Blaise managed to calm herself down and think over the gray she-wolf's words. Why was Mysti searching for Scorpius, or Savu as she called him? Didn't she realize what she'd done to him? Maybe she didn't know about Scorpius. That was probably the reason she called him 'Savu.' Blaise took a deep breath, completely calm for a second. She'd better break the bad news to Mysti. "I've seen him," she said simply, "He broke my heart." Blaise decided to let the story be revealed through question. Maybe it'd make the truth easier to digest for the others. There would be a lot of questions to answer.

Foxtrot
The male wolf smiled. So Amora had caught on. He looked at the two pups. Foxtrot was glad that they had liked his game. But now it was over. His smile faded. Misti woke up and looked towards the opening of the cave. He could here the pawsteps of Blaise as she entered the humble shelter. Foxtrot felt his anger build as he thought about how the shewolf had left her pups with him without so much as a word. A growl tried to escape him, but he swallowed it. Blaise has someone else to answer to first.
Foxtrot turned around and watched as she entered. Based on her solemn expression, she had failed on obtaining her objective in the mountain. It must have been tough. He dipped his head in a greeting and watched Ruko greet Blaise. She ignored him and addressed Misti in a hostile manner. That was to be expected. Foxtrot watched their exchange. His eyes narrowed. So Misti's Savu and the pups' Scorpius are the same. He looked between the shewolves as he tried to follow along. He wasn't going to interfere unless it was necessary.

Amora yipped with excitement. "Oh good! I thought I was going to guess wrong!" and then she thought better of it. "Actually I knew all along." She sniffed haughtily. But when Ruko turned his attention to the adults, Amora dud the same. Her black ears swiveled to pick up every word the two females said.
Her eyes were widening with every syllable spoken as information poured into her head. mommy's heart was broken? How would that happen? Her hearts buried deep inside her chest. Mysti was looking for the heart crusher? Why?[/b] Amora failed to piece the information together. Failed to pair two and two. The sunset swirls on her pelt seemed to stir the more she thought about it. Amora finally took a deep breath and turned away. She could feel the air snapping with the electricity of tension. Behind her the adults were in a heated cluster. Amora was very curious and didnt want to figure it out by herself, so she asked a question.
"so, how many male wolves are we talking about?"

Ruko:
Ruko was very confused at this point. He realized that there was a whole mysterious history going on but why wouldn't Mommy just tell them everything instead of making them piece it together. "Tell us what happened!" Ruko insisted. Mommy had the information that he needed to understand exactly what was going on. It was time that Mommy told them all the truth.
Blaise:
So she would have to tell it story version instead of just answering questions. Amora, Ruko... we are only talking about one wolf. Your father. His real name was Savu though I knew him as Scorpius. I haven't told you everything about him, only half of it. As I've told you before, we met by Kai Lake. I thought it was true love, so we became mates. At the Ruins, I gave birth to you two. As soon as you were born, Scorpius left us after revealing his real evil intent. As Savu, he'd fallen in love with Mysti. She rejected him and he turned to darkness. He seeks revenge by breaking the heart of every she-wolf he meets. I fell into his trap."
They now knew the truth. No doubt their faces would be those of surprise and anger. She hoped that the anger would be towards her instead of Mysti. Blaise was the one who should take blame not the other she-wolf. Blaise had withheld this story for so long. Now they knew. They knew how evil their father was. Mysti knew what Scorpius was like. Foxtrot knew why Blaise was alone and why she still didn't completely trust him.
Mysti:
Mysti's mind whirled like a tornado. How could Savu, her Savu, have done such a terrible thing? How could he turn so evil like that? Worst of all, it was Mysti's fault that he had turned into Scorpius. She had to find him. Her quest had suddenly become more urgent. Mysti was sure that she could change him back. He'd told her that he always would love her right as he left. Would those words still hold true for Scorpius? Mysti just had to hope. She should leave now before they start blaming her, before they get angry. Mysti staggered to her feet. She swayed as she suddenly felt very light-headed. She nearly collapsed but managed to keep her footing as the feeling passed. How long had it been since Mysti had eaten? She would attempt to catch something on the road. "I... I... I should go..." she said her head hanging low. With her tail, between her legs and her ears pinned, she started to stumble away.
Ruko:
Ruko was too shocked to speak. Daddy wasn't a coward... he was evil. Tears started spilling from Ruko's eyes. He wished he'd never learned the truth. Well, now he knew. Ruko's despair quickly turned to anger. That anger was mostly targeted at Daddy, but some was pointed towards Mysti and Mommy. Maybe if he'd learned the truth from the beginning, then it wouldn't be so hard. If Mysti hadn't rejected Daddy, Daddy wouldn't be evil. Ruko didn't want to be anywhere near Mommy, Daddy, or Mysti. They were all to blame for Ruko's anger. He bolted towards the exit, stumbling slightly as his bad leg kept hurting.
Blaise:
Blaise looked at her two pups. Their expressions pulled her heart strings. Poor Ruko was crying. Blaise edges forward to try to comfort him, but then he bolted. She stuck out a paw to try to stop him, but missed. Blaise rushed after him, "Ruko, come back!" It was no use to try to call him back. Blaise was catching up, but tripped over a rock. She landed nose first in the dirt. She struggled back to her feet and dashed after Ruko again. He was already out of the cave. He turned a tight corner and disappeared. Blaise stumbled and fell again. Her legs were already exhausted from the trek up to Sheba's cave. They refused to carry any farther. Blaise lay in the dirt for a second. Ruko was gone... Blaise had no idea whether she would ever see him again. "Ruko!" she called in despair. -Exit Ruko-
Mysti:
Mysti stopped in her tracks as Ruko raced past her. She blinked as the pup left the cave and disappeared around the corner. Would this be her fault too? Nobody seemed to be blaming her, yet. Mysti took another step and the light-headedness returned. If she tried to travel without food or sleep anymore, she would end up killing herself. Mysti stumbled to the nearest wall and pressed her back against it. She didn't want to stay to remind these wolves of the hardship she'd caused for them, but she couldn't leave.
