"Well, I arrived just before the storm started and could not join you. I do not fare so well against rain, in truth. However, when it started to snow, I came out and then found the entrance which I had suspected was there, but did not know truly yet. I like snow, it is a fitting weather for me." Akheron stated, nodding over at her shabby hole of a den.

"That would be where I braved out the rain," the shewolf continued, then pointed to the hill of snow. "And that is what I've been doing." 


"May I ask though, Lady, what is your name? I am Akheron, soon-to-be Sentinel of Secluded Sunrise, as well as a part time negotiator with another wolf."

Smiling to Akheron, she could also admire the work she had done. Heron truly was amazing at digging and staying warm in snow. "Hm, I'm terrified of rain. Bad experiences I suppose. As long as you were comfortable, though. I'm Tear, gamma. Our alphas and beta are around here somewhere, if you would like to talk to them." As she spoke, she shrugged her scarred right shoulder, to show where she got her name. Either way, Akh was part of the pack and should be welcomed at anytime. To be polite, she sidestepped to give the black she wolf space to come in and meet the other wolves.

Tear waved her tail, in happiness at another newcomer. Soon enough they would need to expand the sleeping quarters. Speaking of which, Hawthorne and Rainbow had been there before she left to investigate. "Oh! Hawthorne and Rainbow could meet you already. They're in one of the dens." With another swish of her multicolored tail, Tear turned and walked fairly quickly down the way she came. "Guys! There another new pack member, her name is Akheron." She said, stopping at the entrance.

Rainbow got up and walked over to Tear."Hey, I'm sorry for not answering you earlier, I'm not to fond of storms so I kind of blanked out." Rainbow said as she looked at the ground. "Oh, but what about a new comer? Is she ranked as well? It seems everyone already knows there ranks." Rainbow sighed.

"Yes, I do have a rank. I am the Sentinel of Secluded Sunrise as well as a part time negotiator. My name is Akheron, what about yours?" the black she wolf asked politely, dipping her head in acknowledgement of the other wolf before she raised it up to look him in the eye. A scar still lingered on her back leg, from Fjord's attack. She remembered her promise to him, knowing full well that as a wolf who kept her promises, an alliance would definitely be petitioned for. Perhaps she would go alone, perhaps she would bring Blaise along. Blaise seemed nicer than Foxtrot, the alpha.

Grinning slightly to herself, Akheron sat down gracefully to listen.

Hawthorne shifted a little, lifting his head up from its postion atop his paws, when he heard movement go past his sleeping position. He stood up quietly to see that another wolf had joined them. Rain, Tear and the new wolf made introductions; she was obviously a friendky face. He sat down, wrapping his tail around his front paws.

He decided to sit and watch until their small talk was finished. His introduction could wait, after all - he already knew Akheron's name from her own words to the others.

Foxtrot

After everyone was inside the tunnels, Foxtrot glanced around. The sky was darkening as the black clouds charged in. A chill grasped the air and the large brown wolf shivered slightly. The wind picked up. He waited a second. The first snowflake fell and landed on the ground in front of him. His paw came down on top of it and when he removed his paw, the white dot had dissappeared. Then came more snowflakes. Foxtrot shook his pelt and reentered the hole. The other wolves were already positioned in what would soon be their dens. He chose a large gap by the entrance. This would allow him to see who came in and out of the tunnels. He stepped into the dip and turned around three times before laying his body down. His breathing deepened. He could feel the toll of the day setting into his muscles. After traveling all day with Blaise and the pups to get here, he had taken control of this pack and formed a shelter against the blizzard that had begun to rage outside. Slowly, his eyes became heavy. This time, he let the exhaustion take him. Darkness greeted him as he fell asleep. 

After a few hours, the whistling of the wind had calmed. Foxtrot lifted his head. Two female wolves and Hawthorne exited the tunnels. He stood as tall as he could in the short underground tunnel system and walked back to the hole that connected the group to the outside world. Foxtrot jumped out of the opening and yawned. His legs came forward in a deep stretch. Muscles screamed in protest after being crammed together all night. He stood to his full height and looked around. Snow blanketed the ground and clung to the branches of barren trees. Foxtrot growled. One thing he hated was cold weather. For the next few months he would have to deal with this chilling breeze and frozen water. 

Foxtrot turned to to the other wolves and sat down to watched them converse. Another female had joined the three who had exited the tunnels. He made sure to listen closely. It appeared that the newer female was named Akheron. Had she slept outside through the whole storm? Foxtrot shivered at the thought. He returned to the conversation. The other two females were named Rainbow and Tear. He already knew Hawthorne, but he didn't seem to be engage in the conversation. This new information they were speaking of was good. So Akheron is going to be the sentinel and part time diplomat... No wonder she slept outside. And Tear is the female gamma. As they continued to speak, he decided it would be a good time to get to know some of the other wolves. 

He stood and stepped up to the other wolves. His head lowered as he nodded it to each wolf in turn. Then he sat with them and joined their conversation. "Hello. I believe you all said your names already. Mine is Foxtrot. It is a pleasure to meet all of you. I must appologize for last night. I didn't mean to be bossy. We just needed someone to take charge in the moment. My instincts took over and I shouted orders without even knowing your names." His head lowered in shame. "I'm sorry. It doesn't appear that I'd be a very good alpha."

Amora:

The pup squeaked in surprise as alert began pouring from the grey clouds above. It sliced through her fur easily and covered her skin in ice. She yelped and slid into the tunnels. She hated the weather. Yuck. She decided to lie next to Foxtrot and was surprised to hear him say he wasn't girly to be the leader. She felt her jaw drop and her park purple eyes widen in shock. She stood and her wet fur puffed out, every hair standing on end. "Are you crazy!? You're perfect! Didnt you see that all these guys just jumped up and obeyed? Obviously you are a natural leader." Then the pup quieted and thought for a moment. "But its a good thing you're humble about it."

Ramone:

The lanky black gold and blue male slunk inside and took a deep breath. The crumbles smelled of rich dry earth, whilst outside it was sopping and icy. He sat regally next to Tear before breaking his high and mighty facade and leaning lazily against her side, his tongue hanging out if the side if his mouth. "Good work everybody! Though is it a bit hot in here? It us it just me?" He joked hopefully easing the tension.

"You did fine. We all needed a specific thing to do, instead of doing whatever works." She assured the sand and dust colored wolf. That confirmed it. His name was Foxtrot. A moving black figure caught her eye with colorful marking. In a moment, weight shifted against her shoulder. Tear smiled. Never a dull moment. With a snicker, she pushed against Ramone to tip him over. "Akheron this is Ramone. He'll never stop having jokes and puns. He's also the male gamma."

" Hello, Ramone. Nice to see a fellow trickster!" Akheron laughed, her grin only growing and eyes lighting up with a mischievous light.

Why would Kheron sleep outside? She was clearing the snow XD. But she doesn't mind snow or the cold.))
