"Yeah. We should go together. I think we have much more chance if we stick together." replied with a smile. Raven calmed down to the sight of the other wolf's little smile. Good. He wasn't good with people crying on him. He wasn't good with comforting others. He mostly lived alone so he didn't know how to act with others. But the white wolf seemed to trust him and didn't looked so scared anymore. He still looked nervous as hell, but didn't looked like he was about to faint. It's a good sign, right? He did it good then, right? Well, the white wolf still wanted to join him so maybe things went well. He shrugged and started to walk forward. Then he stopped. Wait. He didn't know where they should go. He didn't even remember where he came from a few minutes ago. Damn his bad memory! With a sigh he turned back. He scratched his head embarrassed, his tail in between his legs. "Um... well... I think you should show the way" chuckled nervously. "Well... um..." What was the white wolf's name? Did he already introduced to him? Damn! He can't remember. What if he already introduced and he just forget the guy's name?! That would be so awkward. Raven already felt stupid and embarrassed for his bad memory. Sometimes he just really hated his own mind. It was so tiring to be like this all the time. With a sigh he looked sheepishly to the white wolf. "Um... what was your name? I'm Raven, anyway."

He smiled, and giggles at the wolf's realization. "Ok" he said, giggling. He began to walk foreward when the wolf continued. He turned back quickly. "o-oh! K-k-konoha" he said blushing. Wow. Raven. Wasn't that... a bird of some sort? Or maybe it meant something else? Whatever, for now it wasn't important. He quickly turned his ace away to hide his embarrassment, before looking toward the direction he came, and slowly walking toward it. Leaves, crunching loudly below him every step he took. He jumped at the sound of his first step, a little freaked out by the loudness of his presence. He realized his reaction seemed a little out in the open, and shrunk back down. He still flinched at every step he took, but it was less obvious now.

"Konoha. Nice name" smiled Raven softly. Konoha started to walking to the other direction than where Raven wanted to go. He felt a little stupid for himself now. And then strated to laughing madly at the sight as the white wolf almost jumped out of his coat as he stepped on to the dry leaves. The leaves crunched under his steps loudly and Konoha flinched at every step. It was way too funny to see a wolf in the forest to freak out at every sound. He was so out of the picture, he didn't fit here. And that was the exciting thing about him. He was weird and awkward, but he kept Raven entertained. He already liked the little dude.
"So. Konoha" he began. "Where did you come from? Do you have a pack or somebody whos waiting for you back at home?"

"Th-th-thanks!" he said, turning around to smile at the wolf. He heard him laughing at his attempts to traverse the forest floor, causing his blush to deepen. "Er.. N-no...A-actually....Y-y-your t-the first w-wolf I've seen." he said looking down at the ground a bit embarrassed. It must to be normal to have a pack, and families, and to be around many wolves you know, and meet strangers all the time. Raven didn't seem to have nearly as much trouble making out words to respond with as Konoha did. He was being truthful. He had rarely ever seen any other wolves before, and usually tried to avoid them out of sheer shyness. He always scolded himself about it afterwards though.

"You don't have any family, friends or someone you care about?" widened Raven's eyes. Even he had a family back in the past. Maybe he still have it. He didn't even could imagine how the white wolf managed to survive on his own... Not to be rude, but... He was scared from his own shadow. He didn't looks like someone who could manage to live on his own. Actually Raven was worried for the guy. He knew exactly well how hard to live on your own without a pack, a family. "Where did you came from? You look too young for be a loner..."

Konoha was taken aback by Raven's words. "N-n-no... I...d-don't..." he said sadly. "U-u-um... I came from...er....N- north from here?" he replied. Yes, he had survived on his own. It wasn't THAT difficult. Winters were the toughest, but he always made sure to find shelter and stock up on food before hand. In fact, he had been trying to find a good shelter now. It was the beginning of fall, and he had no idea of the weather around this area. What if it was even worse then what he was used to? THAT would be troubling! He turned his head back forward, and continued to tread, now thinking about his goal.

"Hmm..." that was all Raven's reply. North from here... Raven didn't even know how did he get there. He always just wandered around, he always forgot the way where he came from so he just wandered forward. It was kind of exciting, though. But now, he know the winter was coming and he needed shelter or a safe place, because everyone knew winter was tough to the loners. It was so much harder to find food and if he didn't find a place he could easily froze to death. He shook his head to clear the worrisome thoughts from his mind and looked around. The sight started to get different, but nothing was familiar for him. He sniffed the air. The wind started to softly blew and he could smell some food in the near. A few deer. Sadly, he knew, he wasn't that good of a hunter and a deer was impossible for him to catch. He peeked at Konoha. No, sighed Raven sadly. It would be impossible to even the two of them to catch one. "Um... Konoha, you know now where are we? What's your plans anyway? Where do you want to go? You have a place to stay?"

"u-u-um... No... I-i dont know..." he said sadly. "I saw a cave in a mound nearby from this place... W-we could s-stay t-through the storm!" he said. As if on cue, the clouds began to darken in color, rolling into the sky. He shuddered at the thought of being caught in the storm. He hated the feeling of being cold. The bitter cold felt so..lifeless... He just couldn't agree with it. Raven seemed to be much bigger, and his coat seemed pretty thick. Maybe the cold never bothered him? Anyway, he let it go. He stood up on a rock, and used it as a vantage point, before spotting the cave mound and pointing it out to Raven

The white wolf shivered at the chilly wind. Raven's coat was so dark and so tick so he didn't really cared about the weather. The sun always heated him up. But Konoha with that pure white and quite thin coat looked a bit shivering. He pointed to a direction and Raven nodded. "Okay. That's a good idea" smiled softly at the white wolf. He was so happy because he couldn't be all alone. He was just as happy now like a little pup. "Let's go. Let's find a shelter before and after that we could think about what's next." Raven started to walk forward. He really hoped that that the white wolf will keep with him. He liked the company. It was so much more fun than being alone.

At last they made it to shelter! Good thing too! It was about to rain. The shelter was averagely sized. It could easily fit the two of them inside. He crawled in and curled himself up. He began to shake, and shiver. It was still cold. His body, no matter how much he curled up into himself, just couldn't give off enough heat. If this was what fall would be like, he was scared to even begin to think about how horribly cold winters in this place must be! Rain began to fall, and soon, the sprinkling turned into a heavy rain.

As they crawled into the shelter the rain started to fall. At least it was big enough for the both of them. Raven comfortably stretched his legs and then sat down at the entrance of the cave and tilted his head to the side as he watched the fat little raindrops falling from the sky. The sun started to slowly set down and the weather started to cool down. Raven doesn't minded the cold, he was fine, he was actually a living heater but his new friend seemed to be cold. Must be tough with that thin, light coat. Raven scratched behind his ear and yawned, he felt his eyes too heavy to keep it open. It was an exhausting day for him as usual but at least he made a new friend. At this thought he started to wag his tail in happiness. He peeked at the shivering white wolf and then slowly edged closer to him. His body heat will keep warm the both of them at the whole night. "I like you, Konoha. You remind me of my little brother" yawned Raven curled up close next to the white wolf, then closed his eyes and was fast asleep. Little snores came from his direction...

Konoha flinched for a second as Raven curled up next to him. He sighed in relief. The warmth was so intense! He wondered if there was any way he could get his coat to grow thicker. Raven face laid inches away from his. His blush deepend. "U-u-u wh-what?" he said a bit confused. But the wolf had already fallen asleep. Konoha figured he should do the same. Raven's hot breath fell on his face, and the sound of his soft snoring lulled Konoha to sleep. The redness on his face didn't lift even slightly as he slipped out of consciousness. But part of him was still chilly, and his body instinctvly moved a bit closer to the dark wolf.
