Frozen laid still next to a river. Her mind unable to process anything that just happened. The only thing she remembered was a strange white wolf putting her by the side of the water, she slowly lifted her head and her whole body started to ache. She couldn't hold her head up anymore and her head fell, relaxing the rest of her body. She whimpered as her leg fell in the cold half-frozen water, The water froze her flesh but she was too weak to lift it out. She closed her eyes and worried to herself, "Is this the end? Am I really done?" She thought these things to herself but couldn't do anything to prevent her thoughts from becoming a reality.
She lifted her nose slightly, the wind kicked in and she knew that if someone didn't find her soon this was the end of her and there would be no way to help her. Not even white magic would be able to help soon.

Emerging from the northern mountains, Rouge followed the river inward. She was skeptical of this new place and figured this was the best course of action. She took short breaks to drink from the semi frozen river then continued on with no interruptions. She entered the territory, passing the boarder with no signs of other wolves. But as she came up to the river bank a faint smell filler her nostrils. She began to slow her pace not know weather the wolf ahead was going to be friendly or nice. She peered past a barren tree and scanned the water line. There appeared to be no one around until Rouge saw something moving slightly along the bank. She saw a pup with blue markings half in the water. She scanned quickly looking for other wolves knowing how protective parents can be. Seeing and smelling no one else she rushed over to the pup. She sniffed her looking for any response from the pup. The pup was breathing so Rouge attempted to lift her from the water and warm her with her breather and body heat as she lay down next to her. Rouge spoke "Hey... Are you ok?" asking the pup waiting for a response not sure why she would be out here all alone.

Naturally on bitter days like these, definitely if prey run amok throughout the valley lines, Vector would curl up into a furry ball until Spring once again beam over the horizon borders. But frankly, due to his cave topped over with the brewing storm, his travel force him to venture for another hole of warmth. Binding his long black legs deep within the icy floor, Vector march beyond his regular distance of the mountainous tundra; his legs freezing and sore for the lack of heat soon escaping through his blood red fur.
What seem like hours of his journey, his body soon flop with snow blanketing his entire body, thus his halt and use his massive, red tail to scoop the bigger snow off while using his black tip of his tail to swipe the rest from his hazel eyes. After combing through his fur, the going wolf suddenly spot two other wolves nearby, bundling themselves, he guess from the painful Winter. Although, even if they could use the help, Vector just sit idly by, staring to see if the two are still alive.

As Rouge wrapped herself tighter around the pup she heard the sound of crunching snow. She lifted her head as her ears pricked and her nose was filled with the smell of a different wolf. She then spotted a black and red male wolf sitting not to far away from her and the pup. The wolfs coloration didn't indicate any family relation to the pup. As well as his leisure reaction to the sight of her. Although that didn't mean that he didn't by chance know the pup somehow or how she ended up being half was in the river.
Rouge didn't know the current state of the pup but getting her away from the water and warming her up would surly help her state. She didn't know weather she needed the help of the red wolf or if he would help. She spoke to the red wolf "What is your purpose for being here?" she asked him figuring it would answer why he was there and if he was there for the pup.

With hazel eyes still lock on of the two wolves, Vector take notes before him: the two wasn't hurt, from his point of view, and they clearly don't belong within the same blood line of their fur, thus not family. His shuttling tail kick and flop onto the white ground, planning to either interfere with the two or continue his den hunt.
Before his mind was made, a voice shake him from his thoughts. It was the bigger wolf. Her words confuse the young wolf, but Vector simply push a smile on his muzzle while he speak. "I'm just walking by. Minding my own life and that's all. You shouldn't cuddle with an unknown pup— who knows where that pup's parents are or if it's a trap!"

Bracken had lost track of the number of days she had spent walking through the mountains. That first day, she had run away from her pack's territory south, up into the narrow pass to lands unknown. She hadn't really stopped to consider where she was going, and what she was doing, until hunger and fatigue caught up with her. She'd curled up beneath a tree, huddling for warmth against the biting wind and cold air. When she'd left her pack, Bracken had known little about hunting. By necessity, she'd had to learn rather quick, and often starved. As a result, her once fuzzy puppy coat now sagged around her body, making her look quite haggard. To any observer, it was obvious that she was emaciated.
The number of moments she spent awake dwindled rapidly, and by the time Bracken saw through the long, twisted mountains, into a snow-covered valley, tiredness was a constant state of mind. It was relieving to know that she'd finally be free of the wicked peaks, and Bracken tread her way down eagerly. Where the ground dipped, there was water, and where there was water, there was food. And even the tiniest morsel would be a boon in the winter months.
Something alarming greeted the half-year-old run-away when she finally got down into the valley. She could smell the scent of wolves all over the forest, with some markers stale, while others frighteningly fresh. Bracken had clung to the river that had led her through the mountains, drinking from the half-frozen waters, and daydreaming about fat fish she could gorge herself on.
All too soon, the tiny, thick-furred pup came upon a couple of wolves near the river. She froze, and ducked beneath the dying rushes, thinking that maybe she could hide from them until they left. The river was her guide, her life-force, and Bracken was reluctant to give it up just to circle around these two. She contemplated heading back while they were still ignorant of her presence, when suddenly, she heard the male exclaim, "You shouldn't cuddle with an unknown pup— who knows where that pup's parents are or if it's a trap!"
Huh? Bracken rose her head, and saw that the female was in fact, curled up next to a pup, younger than Bracken. She didn't seem to be moving. Bracken tilted her head slightly, wondering what had occurred here. She decided to stay still and see what happened, against her better judgement.

Rouge looked down at the pup after hearing the red wolfs response. It was true that she didn't know who or where the pups parents were. But it seemed as though the pup had been there for sometime due to her state and situation. It didn't seem like a trap to Rouge but she still considered it nonetheless. She then thought about how cruel it would be to leave a pup stranded alone in the midst of winter to be dragged away by the river and a small but of furry grew in her for a moment. "If someone is to cruel as to leave a pup stranded and have it freeze to death just for a trap. I would be more then happy to fight them." Rouge said to the red wolf. She then calmed down and spoke more relaxed. "But I don't think that's the case."

Frozen felt the warmth of another, but was nut strong enough to open her eyes or make much of a noise, though she tried. She would try almost anything to not get put back in the cold icy water. She push her breath out as hard as she could, trying to push out even the faintest sound to tell them she was indeed alive. She pushed and pushed but nothing happened, not even a whimper. Her heart slowed and started to freeze over. She finally managed to squeeze out a small and very very faint whine. She was exhausted and couldn't even think about trying to do it again, she didn't know what the wolf would do and if she would help, all she knew was that whatever she was doing now warmed her up enough to tell her she was ok.... Or at least alive.
She thought in her mind that she needed to move or something that would indicate that she needed to get out of the cold or she would have no chance of life. She had a slim chance as it is and though it what increasing it was not increasing enough to steady her breathing or heart beat. She opened her eyes very slowly and looked up at the she-wolf. She hoped with all her heart that she would not leave her for dead like her parents had done.

After Rouge finished talking she heard a faint noise from the pup that lay at her side. Rouge lowered her head closer to the pup as she watched as her eyes slowly open. The pup's condition was improving but Rouge's body heat wasn't enough. Rouge looked around trying to scan the nearby area for someplace warmer or at least out of the snow. It need to be close by so they could get there quickly.
As she did she spotted patches of black in the snow beneath some bushes. It was another pup, not as young as the pup at Rouge's side but didn't appear to be a yearling yet.
Rouge took a quick glance over at the red wolf then over to the older pup. "Hey, I know you don't know me but I could use your help." she said to the older pup, changing her voice to sound unthreatening. She then looked back at the red wolf "I don't know you either and I know we haven't exactly gotten off on the right foot, but I could use your help too." Rouge then looked down at the pup at her side again before addressing the red wolf and the older pup "I found her half way in the ice water almost frozen to death. I'm new here and I need to take her someplace warmer. Will you take me someplace warmer or at least tell me where to go. Please." She said loudly enough for both of the wolves to hear her plead hoping that at least one of them would help her and the pup.

Bracken's ears pricked up when the she-wolf spoke to her. How did she notice her? Was her presence that obvious. She glanced down, taking stock of her burly black coat against the dead grass and snow. Well, duh. She stuck out like a swollen paw. Why hadn't that occurred to her before? Huffing, the black-furred pup rose to her feet, and warily crept over to the other three. The young she-wolf opened her mouth as the desire to speak struck her. "What would you need my help for?" She rasped, voice hoarse from disuse.
"I found her half way in the ice water almost frozen to death. I'm new here and I need to take her someplace warmer. Will you take me someplace warmer or at least tell me where to go. Please."
Bracken's ears swiveled back. "I-I don't think I can help you with that; I just got here." She turned towards the mountains. "There's probably some caves up there, but I didn't see any, and well, I think she would be too heavy to carry." Bracken's jaws parted to scent the air. "There's other wolves here. Don't you live with some of them?" Her question was towards both Rouge and Vector. As she awaited their response, Bracken gazed at the pup. She seemed to be moving but, moons, lying in the river in the middle of winter wasn't going to end well at all.

Rouge listened to the older pup's response. As the pup looked toward the mountains Rouge followed her gaze. There we a great chance that there would be cave is the mountain that would be out of the snow. But whether the younger pup was going to last over that amount of time was what made Rouge so hesitant. Carrying wasn't the worry even if it would be hard Rouge was determined to think of another way.
Then she though about her situation more deeply. Why was she so intent on helping this young pup. She had no relation to this pup or any of its family. She had no past trauma or experience like the young pup was going through to empathize with it. Even if she didn't quite know why she wanted to help this pup so much that didn't stop her from wanting the pup to be safe.
She heard the older pups response. "I'm new to the entire area, I don't know anyone here. I don't even know this pup." she then looked at the red wolf and asked him again. "Do you know of any other place a bit closer than the mountains that would be warmer?"

Bracken's eyes widened when she learned that the other she-wolf was apparently new to the area as well. What was the probability of that, anyway? Bracken wondered if she came from the North, like her. If she did, her place of living must not have been close to the valley Bracken had lived in; she'd never seen a wolf with purple in their fur. Or red, for that matter, Bracken thought as she looked at Vector.
Stepping around Rouge, Bracken stooped to get a better look at the pup. Now that she was able to observe her, the pup seemed just as outlandishly colored as the other two, if not more. She was a pure white, with large blue blotches all over. Bracken had never seen a wolf without brown, black, white, or gray fur (although, some of her kin had patterns not seen on the average wolf) before, so this was all rather curious. But the other wolves didn't seem bothered by their appearances, or by Bracken's, so she made no comment on it.
The blue-and-white pup definitely seemed to still be breathing, and even moving a little. Bracken's gaze lingered on her a little longer, before she jerked her head up back to Rouge and Vector. Her ears angled expectantly towards the male wolf. Was it possible that he too was new to the area? Bracken hoped not, otherwise this task she had been sidetracked into completing was going to get a whole lot harder. Bracken dared to sigh; this hadn't been what she'd expected when she'd imagined her future as a loner. If only you were still alive, Aren.

OOC: Sorry, life and school keeps bugging me IC: Vector tuck his claws under his massive tail, darting dagger eyes at the three new wolves before him. His hazel eyes shift around, blinking silently through the blizzard snow before sighing deeply. Legs soon lift upwards as he lift one paw outwards towards the east. " I was heading towards the White Wolf Mountains. There, the White Wolf shall heal the pup and you can find better caves to dwell than here. But we must go quickly— I don't have all day to help three lost dogs." His charming voice soon crack and haze through the fog as his breath can be seen from the cold air.

Rouge watched as the older pup came around her to get a better look at the small pup. The red wolf then stood up and spoke of heading towards the mountains and a white wolf able to heal. Rouge had heard of this wolf and was surprised to learn that she wasn't just a myth. Anxious to help the pup and meet this mythical wolf, Rouge stood up over the small pup. "I'll follow you then." Rouge said nodding her head in the red wolf's direction. She then looked over to the older pup, "You can follow along with me if you would like." Rouge then gently picked up the small white pup in her mouth as she began to follow the red wolf.
OOC : I got permission from THESILENT to pick frozen up.

Vector watch with stern eyes as the young she-wolf agree to follow behind, but beam his eyes at the other she-wolf, waiting to see if she choose her own destination instend of theirs. As the medium size male waits, he begin to kick off the heavy snow from his paws and back as he feel it land with a soft flop on the white ground. His hazel eyes look over at Rogue while barking at her, "As a reminder to you: since I wish to travel to a different sector of the forest, you must promise me a deal for later on. Not now..When we get to White Wolf."
