Leo:
The moment was tense — dangling between escape from this gang and being sucked into their trap. The red, black, and grey male spoke directly to Leo, his eyes piercing into his soul it seemed. The brute used a friendly tone on the outside like a shell hiding the dark intentions he must have had, but it caused Leo's skin to crawl with discomfort and his ear to twitch anxiously. The golden wolf took a nervous step back, but tried his best not to look too vulnerable. Then there was the voice of a female, the orange and black one with an ominous tattoo around her eye, the scariest member of the group. Her eyes were like the red, grey, and black male's — orbs of darkness with a bright dot appearing to be the pupil, like a lonely star — but they were different. She was different. She was cunning, maniacal, with an empty spot where her soul should be.
Get ready to run, Leo thought, prepared to shove Rayen along with him back through the forest from which they came. They were racers, able to dodge whatever roots and rocks were in their way and could, without a doubt, out-run the evil hearted before them.
But a massive shadow trickled over their heads. It was flowing from the immense ocean of pure darkness inside the female. And she had a lot of it to spare. It formed a dome over he and Rayen's heads, and darkness overcame them. Leo frantically searched around him, but there was nothing to see. He was hopelessly blind, like he was at the bottom of the ocean and still sinking, and a familiar feeling took over. This was the feeling Leo had felt back in the ruins. It was when he feared he had forgotten his own name. Helplessness. Disorientation. Panic. And he was experiencing that same thing right now. But he heard Rayen softly humming next to him, and he remembered his courage. Leo stood up straighter, took a deep breath, and considered the situation. The shadow master was clever indeed, catching them in a trap with no choice but to come closer. After all, no one was stupid enough to run back through the woods in the dark. But maybe Leo was just stupid enough. If he ran away blind, he would likely get seriously injured, and in the midst of the chaos he would likely lose Rayen. But if he came closer to the dark wolves, they would surely kill him and Rayen. Then again, once they were injured and could no longer run, the dark wolves could kill them in the forest easily without struggle, and it would make for a slower death.
Another voice chimed in, a male voice. It was not the voice of the red, grey, and black male, nor was it the voice of the sea foam green one for it came from a different direction. This was a wolf he had not taken notice of before. He seemed to take interest in the shadow mastery being used and, if Leo had interpreted his words correctly, wanted to join the gang. A fifth wolf certainly would make things immensely more difficult for him and Rayen, so Leo hesitated when he felt his friend pad forward, brushing past him in the darkness.
No turning back now, he thought.
He took a deep breath, pushed his fear aside, and padded after Rayen through the dome of darkness, blundering straight into their trap. What were they getting themselves into now?

That would be a problem, and Sigyn wouldnât like it. She liked playing games, but the wolves around her were too eager, not patient, and the two wolves in the distance could feel it rolling off of them like sheets of rain in a thunderous storm. Sigyn body tensed as Baneâs too eager voice slid into the air. It would be a problem having more than two wolves traveling together, they would have to change tactics, but she would simply adapt. She watched Nyxâs form slide past her and rolled her eyes, but there was no stopping the motion of the following scenes, you had to pick up pace or get left behind.
Her slender red form rolled quickly to her feet, feeling for the pebbles in the dust and collecting them as she strode to follow the orange and black wolf. The pebbles rolled on the ground, following her, creating an illusion that the ground was moving with her. The wolves would not be able to see though, not through Nyxâs dome- far more advanced than the shadow tricks she had been playing minutes ago with Astral.
Sigynâs blood red and winter white form tensed â gathering more red and orange dust as a monstrous foam green form bounded in front of her. She did not stop moving, but watched her brother round to the left of the dome, clearly acting like a sentry, ready to partake of the action, and to keep the wolves in their circle â in case they were tempted to wander too far.
Then a black wolf approached and started to blabber about how wonderful Nyxâs ability was â and it was monumental, but also obvious. He didnât seem to notice or care about anyone else in the clearing.
âCanât you see weâre busy?â Sigyn purred, eyes sparkling dangerously in Black Schuckâs direction.
She then looked away, not as worried about the black wolf, especially if he had a thing for wolves with big dark shadow domes, she guessed he was evil.
————————-
Fenrir looked at Nyx, licking his lips tentatively once more as Nyx complained that she had liked him better with the blood. He stared at her, a new hunger growing deep in his belly as he watched her curiously. He knew what the hunger was, he had satisfied it before, but usually it was when taking out lights or neutrals. He had felt no desire to create any other connection other than with his sister, and still he did not⦠But there was something different about Nyx, and he watched her as her coal eyes raked over his large body. He was used to others being awed by his size and strength, but he rather liked the way she sized him up. His stony expression did not change, but his muscles rolled in pleasure, taking a small step toward her, as if he could take her right then and there. And then she was gone.
His pale purple gaze seemed clearer in that moment, watching her and the way her frame slid across the ground and past his sister. He also watched the black wolf enter, but his eyes slid away â ignoring words that started to spill from the male. His mind was starting to buzz, partially angry that Nyx had slipped away so quickly before he could finalize his need and partially out of excitement of the new game. New kills. And this time⦠This time he would not be listening to his sister, it was high time he satisfied the part of him that wanted to kill, to be covered in blood, to feel the life of the wolf leave the frame under his locked jaw â for them to succumb to death, as many more had before.
Despite being cleaned, his green paws were browner from the dust and mud from his earlier rain shower. In long neat bounds he made his way past his sister to catch up with Nyx, a new possessive feeling to be close to her drew him toward her and also a greedy feeling of wanting to partake in the fun that had evolved.
Clouds started to form above the dome, wisps of white roiling and braiding together over the dome of darkness â almost as neat of a circle as her dome. And then it started to rain. It was not the rain he had created before â his eyes stared at the clouds, feeling for the droplets and willing them to hurdle to the ground in complete abandon of the dryness of the desert. The droplets were large and came hurdling to the ground â but only over the darkness. Water started to trickle away from the shadows to his feet where the water slid over dry ground.
He glanced over at Nyx and then into the darkness. He moved to where he could cover the exit to the far left if they decided to make a run for it out of the darkness⦠He would catch them. Fenrir played with the idea of charging in and attacking in what he guessed would be complete darkness⦠He glanced at Nyx, almost in question, but did not voice the question out loud.

Nyx;Just as she was trying to appreciate the wonder that was this new power she was able to put forth, Black Shuck began speaking to her. Complimenting her shadows, calling her madam, and stating that having a level 2 power must have taken practice. Well of course it had taken practice. She had almost killed herself anew, stretching her mind to its breaking point, twisting the shadows around and through it. Nyx lifted a lip, but couldn't even be bothered to look in his direction. If he couldn't focus on the obvious task at hand, then he wasn't worth her time. But then there was Fenrir. Though Nyx didn't turn away from the dome, she heard the large male bound up and come into stride with her. There was heat coming from him, and a certain smell that she recognized. Her dark eyes flashed a shade darker, and her teeth clicked once more. What was this, now? Were all males so predictable? Except this time, Nyx was not bored by the realization. There was a purely instinctual and primal darkness that was calling her to him. She did not have to look within herself to know there were no real feelings attached to whatever was going on in the pit of her being. All there was, was a lust for all things evil, and an appreciation for one as dark as she was. Her orange tail lashed behind her, swiping at Fenrir's back paws as he dashed to the side. Good. He was clever. Nyx trusted another of the company would dip to the right—she had no intentions of moving herself. No, she wanted to meet their guests head on. Nyx heard the sound of shifting rocks behind her, and saw the rain clouds gather above, and settled into the knowledge that the siblings had both released their powers. Because the dome could not be moved or manipulated, Nyx's mind was free, and her own shadow leapt away from her body. Now, with so much more twisting, writhing power at her pawtips, her shadow stretched. No longer did she have to pile darkness upon darkness to create bigger shadows, now it just happened. Her shadow grew until it towered over them and took the form of some monstrous, half-wolf. It stalked behind and stood pacing, giving the appearence of even more depth to their company. Nyx squared her shoulders, and glanced once at Fenrir to her left. He seemed to be playing with the idea of going into the dome, toying at the ground inches from the dark wall. For a moment their eyes met. Without actually shaking her head and possibly offending him by answering a question he hadn't asked (because they did not have time for that. There would be plenty of time for her to offend her new aquaintances later), she merely lifted one eyebrow—signalling to him that yes, the darkness would still be absolute even for an Evil wolf in her company. It would even be purely dark for herself, and that was why her feet remained rooted to the spot. RayenThere was rain falling by then—getting in Rayen's eyes, as wide as they were. She was trying and failing to see through the darkness, and as such, her eyes were massive in their sockets. the world sounded strangely muted in the shadow dome, though perhaps that was just her mind playing tricks. Leo beside her, however, sounded much too loud. His every breath filled her with complete terror, and for a moment she saw a scene playing out before her blinded eyes. The scene did not end well, for either of them. It ended in pain. It ended in death. She stopped short and let forth a choked gasp. It was not fear for herself that froze her feet, it was the image of Leo being hurt. For one such as Rayen, who until then had had such strong instincts to stay alive, it was odd to feel such gripping terror at the thought of someone else. "Leo," She said, dashing up and following the sound of his footsteps until she came to him once more. "I—I think I'm afraid." It was an odd feeling for Rayen. She had felt it before, many times of course, but never since entering the valley. How could something that seemed so nice and wholesome be poisoned with wolves like those they were about to meet? "Don't let me lose you," She said, not really knowing what she meant, and burying her nose deep into the fur at the back of his neck. Her sun—her warmth. He still smelled the same, but her anxiety tainted her reaction to it. "I couldn't bear it if—if—" She broke off with a half-growl and shook her head violently as her voice broke. The whisperings of thought before—of feelings—were now blaring through her mind. She could not ignore them, and yet here she was, on the brink of losing it all just as she had discovered it. "Just don't." She draped her neck across his shoulders, somehow still moving forward. There was no way to tell when the darkness would end—but she was starting to smell the others now. She even fancied that she could hear their breath... close in front and to their side... Tiel

Leo:
Rayen draping her head across his shoulders comforted Leo somehow. When she spoke, her voice broke. "I know," he said. I couldn't bare it if I lost you, so I won't let you die. No matter what. Everything is going to be okay, he wanted to say, but a lump formed in his throat, and suddenly, he wasn't so sure everything was okay.
When they emerged from the darkness, Leo could tell the wolves outside the dome meant business. A fight was going to break out right here, right now, and he feared he would not be able to take them all. But what was even worse, was the idea that Rayen would try and fight, too. She was not going to let him defend her while she sat and watched. He knew she would never let him fight alone, but that made him sick. He couldn't let her get herself killed trying to help him fight.
"Run," he whispered in her ear. "I'll make sure a path is cleared, and you bolt. Whatever you do, don't try to fight."
Leo made a plan in his mind. Perhaps he could knock one of them down just long enough for Rayen to escape. She was fast enough, and he could hold them back to give her a head start, even if it meant he might die in the process.
Leo eyed Nyx. She seemed easiest to take on, compared to the others, physical build wise, but something stopped him. She was too cunning. Too clever. And who knew what she would do with her power. The rest of them were so muscular, he was not sure who to go for. He ended up focusing on Sigyn. That was where a gap could form for Rayen to make her hasty way out. He glanced from her, to Nyx, then to the general group. "We don't want any trouble," he said, doubting that his comment would work, but it was worth a shot.

Bane:
Intense golden eyes flicked back to the slender red female after Bane had spoken his "welcome" to the two good wolves. He thought he may have pleased her with his evil intentions, but instead she had an annoyed expression on her face like she was upset with how things weren't turning out the way she wanted. Bane let it go, females were unpredictable in their emotional ways, and he focused on the business at paw. However, before Bane could calculate his attack, a massive blanket of shadow bubbled right over the two wolves and lost them in the midst of the darkness. This dark dome seemed normal to Bane until he realized he could not see anything within it. 'How?!' His gray head flung over to where Nyx was standing at the edge of the darkness, and he stared at her in an almost bewildered way. How had she learned to do that? Never had Bane not been able to see through darkness since before he had received shadow mastery. He was so used to seeing clearly through any darkness that took him aback. But the giant dome that formed before him really wasn't just any darkness, it was pure black. Pure evil. Nyx's demeanor had become a whole level darker, and her sickly wicked appearance sent a shiver down his spine. Oh how he wanted to be able to do what she could do and more. Just thinking about all the wolves he could impress, scare, and torment made him grin with hidden pleasure.
A movement from the green sea foam wolf brought Bane back to the reality of how to strategize around the massive darkness that hid the two good wolves. The other male seemed to have the idea of guarding the left side in case the couple tried to escape. Bane caught on and trotted to the right and stood inches away from the shadow wall, prepared for anything that would leap out from the obis. A stranger voice made the gray, black, and red wolf flick his ears, but the owner of the voice was out of vision, blocked by the shadow dome. The other evil wolves paid him the slightest attention, and by the red female's voice, he probably wouldn't be much trouble. Without much thought, Bane ignored that conversation and watched to see where the two good wolves would appear. The whole while he created a thick black mist on the ground that swirled around, and crawled up the legs of each individual of their small group, surrounding them in cloaks of shadows. He had noticed how the pretty she-wolf had shifted the stones and dust of the ground and now they shifted beneath the layer of darkness. They wouldn't know what hit them.
The two good wolves stepped out of the dome right in front of Nyx and Bane flattened his ears and let a deep growl roll off his tongue. With hackles raised he took a step forward, his muscles itching to spring forward. And he almost did, but stopped himself as he heard the shy plea. Like that would make a difference. Bane had bloody imaginations going through his head, and no matter what the two would say, they where still good wolves and deserved to die. Stalking forward, Bane fixed his eyes on the golden male, yet at the same time he watched Nyx for any sign that he should wait to attack.

((I guess we'll move along so Leo and Rayen can escape and have their pups eventually. Not meaning to bowl anyone over, but Tov understands sometimes moving along in rotation to keep a plot going. ^^ )) tovaana Blood TielRayen, Nyx;They broke free from the darkness like the sun breaking through clouds—the only difference here was that instead of being filled with hope, the pair was filled with dread. Leo tried to speak plainly to the Evil wolves, saying they didn't want any trouble. Rayen knew this wouldn't work even before he had said it. The two of them didn't want trouble, sure, but she could see it in the vacant eyes of those surrounding her—their company did. There was two rather large males, an average female, and a skinny, scrappy looking female. Behind them was another large male, but he wasn't up front and centre and so Rayen didn't mind at the moment. To their left was the larger of the two closest males, and he looked about ready to rip their heads off right then. To their other side was another large male, his tattoo glowing and the shadows pooling around his feet. But then in front of them, dead ahead as if she had no fear at all, was the orange and black female that Rayen had felt looking at her earlier. It was as if her eyes were empty, yet fiery all at the same time. They smouldered, but were lifeless as well. She clicked her teeth back and forth, giving a disjointed smile and making Rayen shiver. Nyx glanced at Bane on one side, and Fenrir on the other. Her eyes zeroed in on Fenrir for a second. But a moment ago she had been hungry for him—she had even sensed his own hunger for her—but in that moment she only saw him for his potential. Large, angry, unafraid. The Good male was quite large as well, so it made her feel better having Fenrir close by. Now even though Nyx could fight well despite the fact that she was by no means a big female, she knew going up against a wolf like Leo would be a mistake for her. The Good female, however, was another matter. Rayen was broader than Nyx and taller at the shoulder, but Nyx could tell from a glance that Rayen was more suited to running than fighting. Nyx had an advantage there, for even though she was not as heavy or strong, she had never once hesitated in a fight, and she was quite good at brawling. For Nyx, it would be no small thing to streak across and blind Rayen right then and there. There were no rules with Nyx when it came to fighting. No honour. Just teeth, claws, and blood—usually her opponents', because she was always careful and calculating when deciding who to get physical with. "Look at these two," Nyx rasped, swinging her head to look at Bane and then Fenrir. She let her chilling half-laugh ring out from behind her yellow teeth. "In love, and in so much trouble, too..."Rayen swallowed hard, feeling a knot form in her stomach. Leo had put himself in front of her, but she put a stop to that quickly. There would be no sacrifice here. She shouldered him along until she stood by his side. She pressed into his warmth, feeling their pulses mingle and match. She fixed Nyx with the hard stare of one who has faced countless threats in their life time. "We just want to be on our way." Her voice was stronger than she felt. Nyx smirked, unimpressed. The black and orange female could already tell how this was going to go. If the Evils didn't make a move soon, everybody would beat around the bush, and talk, and threaten, and it would all get very boring very quickly. Nyx wasn't in the business of boring. So, as was Nyx's ever-unpredictable way, she leapt forward almost before Rayen had finished speaking. Rayen didn't quite have time to react, and in the space that it takes to draw breath, Nyx's curiously powerful jaws had closed around Rayen's upper front leg. Rayen yelped and snarled, unable to land a proper counter attack because of the pain and speed of Nyx's attack. The first move had been made, and now it was all going to start. The twisted female had made the first move, and in her heart, Rayen knew the other Evils would quickly move in, like vultures to a kill. She snapped at Nyx's neck as best she could at the angle, but the female either didn't feel it, or didn't care.

Leo:
The red and black brute created a mist, a dark mist, causing the whole situation to become a lot creepier. Leo flattened his ears, glancing anxiously around. He pressed closer to Rayen, shielding her with his body the best he could. Of course she was not going to leave him in the dust, but it was worth a shot, clearing a path.
Focusing on the lean red female, Leo was ready to knock her over and make sure Rayen got away safely, but he did not expect what came next. Just as Rayen added to his comment on not wanting trouble, the wolf he feared most, the black and orange one, attacked. She grabbed Rayen's leg, evoking a cry of pain he could not bare to hear coming from her.
Something came over Leo when Nyx attacked, and fear no longer mattered. The wolf that hurt Rayen was now as good as dead.
Leo sprung into action, teeth bared, body lowered closer to the ground, and he pounced in an attempt to land on the orange wolf's back. He immediately went for her throat, flexing his neck like a cobra. He was vicious now, and ready to tear her throat out with his teeth. She had to die now. The valley would be better off without her. But more importantly, Rayen would be safer.

It took every ounce of self-restraint to keep himself from hurdling at the movement of the wolves as they came out of the dome. What had stopped him was not their words, but the fact that Nyx had not moved. More aware than his lust to kill, was how aware he was of Nyx and the way each muscle twitched under her misleading thin form. After Nyx mocked the pair and laughed, Fenrir made a noise like a chortle that turned into a growl, closer to a plea of his own to just attack and skip the niceties.
He casually sized up the two, but his gaze lingered on the male who was larger and more exciting of a challenge than the femme. While it would be more interesting to go after the femme, kill her quick to anger the ‘Romeo’, Fenrir was more interested in a brawl, something to let out his pent up energy. Yet the good male was more keen on escape and had only briefly looked at him.
His black and green form rippled as he slightly crouched – just as Nyx’s sleek form darted into action. Anticipating her movement, he also moved at the same time at the male, who was perfectly not paying attention to him. He seemed wrapped up in protecting the female who Nyx had attacked. His body left the ground effortlessly, his mind no longer in the clouds and the rain, but targeting the top of the male’s neck that he could reach over the sudden brawl. His large form leapt over the good female and aimed his teeth and a locked jaw that would more likely grab the side of his neck, and he jerked his head mid leap (hopefully well locked on the male’s neck) to misdirect the male’s attack on Nyx. Then landing, the ground made a dull thud where he landed on three paws, his other paw available to lash out or correct his own balance as he strived to pull the good male off balance.
His goal had been to lead the male closer to Bane, creating an unfair advantage of two on one, but more for security. Fenrir guessed that the male would not care as much for his own well being, but for his lover. He half guessed he would try to escape, rather than fight back. One on one and when the creature was a large male, he found it easier to kill when they fought back.
Sigyn watched the two males on each side of Nyx, and she had to hand it to her – she inspired darkness in others. The two males, which included her brother she admitted to herself wryly, seemed to be anticipating what Nyx would do. This was usually her spot, but this strategy was a little different than playing with just two wolves (as it had been with just her and her brother), now there were many of them and had more power and leniency.
She could almost see the good male’s thoughts, as his gaze lingered just a second longer on her. He was planning on making a bolt for it, and it had something to do with where she was… Which, really – her spacing did not matter, the way that Fenrir and Bane flanked Nyx- they had them pretty well surrounded.
That’s when Nyx made a move, and obviously surprised the male, striking the femme on her leg. It all seemed in slow motion, and she had not been anticipating Nyx’s attack, but she moved quickly a few steps closer, gathering smaller pebbles and whisking them toward the fray and into the good male’s face. It seemed in slow motion, the way she could feel the power of her throw (the only way she could make items leave the ground entirely) and she could tell that if Fenrir’s attack actually hit the male that her pebbles would scatter harmlessly into Nyx’s dome. ooc// are we having someone mod, or do we want to work this out in a way that leaves the couple with a few cuts and bruises, maybe one major injury (not for the momma of course) and they slip away somehow? Maybe I could bring Tov in to create a few sheilds to create a small opening for them to leave? She was in the area technically anyways.

((I'm alright not to have it modded. If we are all in agreement about what is to happen, is that fine with everyone? I don't want Nyx permanently injured, but Rayen is alright to have a scar or something! Nothing like broken bones though, because she has to give birth and be healthy for that.)) Nyx, Rayen;Quick as a flash, Leo was on top of her, biting into her neck and scrabbling at her skin. Most animals would have yelped—loosened their grip on their prey in an attempt to shield themselves from the attack. But Nyx was not like other animals. She felt the pain of Leo's bites, yes, and she lost her footing once or twice under his weight—but she didn't make a sound. She did not release the grip of Rayen's leg; not even to yelp or growl. She took the attack easily. She felt her skin tear, but instead of making her flinch away, her dead eyes lit up. Rayen yelped this time in fear, for it was not everyday that a wolf would smile through an attack and remain all but motionless, holding tight to you. What was wrong with this female? She wanted to pull free now more than ever just to be rid of her, pain aside. Being so close to someone like Nyx was enough to chill anyone's blood. Soon enough though, Nyx's grip did break. When Fenrir came and moved the attack to Leo, the force of him being pulled away ripped Rayen's paw from Nyx's jaws. Rayen leapt to the side the moment she felt her paw come free. It was sore, but neither female had twisted and so the bones felt fine. She was bleeding, yes, but Rayen wouldn't have gotten far if she had always let a little blood stop her. The green and white-striped female turned with a fearsome snarl, but Nyx had already slunk into the sidelines. She came to rest behind and beside Sigyn, though her pacing never wavered. First her eyes were on Leo and Fenrir, then her eyes were to Bane, then back to Sigyn. She put Sigyn between herself and the Good female. Sigyn was larger than Nyx—more suited to Rayen's size, and she had an offensive power besides. If Rayen was looking to attack someone, why shouldn't it be Sigyn? Nyx didn't care whether or not the other Evil female got into a fight. Rayen swivelled once more. Nyx had crept away as if nothing had happened, and suddenly she was facing the other Evil female. Rayen wasn't even sure where Nyx had gone in the confusion. How had she slipped away without her noticing? She pushed it from her mind. The other Evil female seemed focused on the males' fight. Pebbles were flinging themselves away from her, directly at the fighting. Even though the rocks were small, if they were thrown hard enough, they could be dangerous. This worried Rayen, because Leo was already outnumbered. She bared her teeth and leapt forward, bowling into the female with her powerful shoulder. Completely ignoring the other two females as if she wasn't concerned at all, Nyx suddenly leapt into closer proximity with the males. Her eyes were glowing again as she watched the massive forms of the males. Strictly speaking, Leo had no chance against both Bane and Fenrir. If he was incapacitated enough, Nyx herself might join the males' fight. She grinned wickedly, eyes dancing and tail swaying. Leo had snapped when she had attacked the Good female. He loved her, he truly did. Nyx didn't know what that was like from personal experience, but she knew it made others weak, and she knew how to exploit it. "You know we're going to destory her..."tovaana

(OOC: Sorry my post is short, I just thought to do a quick one before I leave so that you guys can keep going on the plot while I am gone.)
Bane:
Blood red paws stepped forwards slowly, creeping closer and closer. Golden eyes flicked over the scene, reading the intentions of every wolf. Bane calculated the good male wolf with a very sharp glare, but he also kept his eye on Nyx, who was closest to the prey and now conversing with them. Her surprise move set off a whole explosion of actions, and time seemed to slow as Bane picked up his front paws and leaped forward. His target was the golden orange male, but the other evil he wolf got to him first, leaping over the female and gripping the top of the goldie's neck. The larger green wolf dragged the other to the ground, pulling Nyx along who was in the tight grip of the good wolf. Nyx had somehow gotten loose, but Bane didn't care, he was now upon the golden orange wolf with an open jaw, white fangs ready to pierce flesh. Colorful bodies wriggled everywhere, and Bane found an open shoulder right in front of him. He took that perfect oppertunity and lashed out his white razor teeth. He felt contact and tasted blood, but the force of both the large dogs struggling over each other roughly forced him to step back. A sharp growl and a snap of his bloodied jaw showed the frustration of the gray, black, and red male. He lunged back in the mess, aiming for the good wolf's neck. This was taking too long, and Bane's killing excitement just wanted to finish it. Obviously his abrupt actions weren't as calculated this time.
(OOC: I hope the actions are okay. If they are not to anyone's liking, they can be changed. And I did not finish his second attack, so Tiel can say if it lands or not.)

((I'm fine with no mod. We know what's going to happen already. Also, Blood, your actions are fine))
Leo:
Leo's attack on Nyx landed, but did little in helping Rayen escape. Actually, it did nothing in helping her escape whatsoever. He tore into flesh, desperately clawed at her neck, but the black and orange wolf made no cry of pain, or even struggle to push him off. In fact, it almost looked like she was enjoying the brutal attack, feeding on the pain.
That was sick. She was utterly sick and had to die. All the sound around him faded out and Rayen's whimpers of pain were all he could hear. What would he do if he lost her? He imagined a world without her, where Leo was rediscovering himself and his past all on his own. It was a nightmare, and he found his grip on Nyx weakening just thinking about it. A new goal pushed Leo to say something to Rayen, because what if one of them died right now? Well, if anyone was dying, he planned on it being himself, so it was only right for his last words to be to her, so she could remember him.
"Rayen" he said, no longer paying attention to Nyx's body beneath him. He found himself at a loss of words, so all he said was "I love you."
The words slipped out so fast, at first he couldn't process them. But he knew they were right. This was what he felt even back at the waterfalls. He loved her.
Leo felt other teeth dig into him, pulling him off of Nyx. He snapped back into reality, and bit the she wolf on her neck, tightening his grip as best he could, but it was no use. He was already off of her back and on the ground, the center of a mess of fighting wolves, shoving each other out of the way just to get a chance to taste his flesh.
Rayen was no longer trapped in Nyx's jaw, but she was still in terrible danger. "You know we're going to destroy her..." Nyx's voice purred. That gave him enough energy to fight back. Leo felt pebbles flying at him to make things worse. Rayen was no longer in sight, covered by flashes of black, grey, red, and green. He wanted to call to her, tell her everything was going to be okay, but he saved his voice, focusing all the energy he had on pushing these attackers off him. He bit in random directions, sometimes flesh, sometimes thin air, hoping it would do some good, then found himself trying to pounce out of the mess. Blood splattered the ground around him, and he remembered how much he must be bleeding. His wounds stung like fire, but that didn't stop him.
((Sorry I didn't specify what attacks on Leo landed and which ones didn't. It's all a big mess at this point. Just assume most of them did.))

Everything was happening very quick and her eyes were darting only briefly other directions, her attention had been mostly on her stones as they flung at the male. Two of the bodies freed themselves from the scrabble, both females. She felt a movement creep behind her and vaguely saw the approaching good female that had to have a limp after her encounter with Nyx. Her attention was torn away from the male fray as the good female bowled into her. Her ears flattened as she went down, overbalanced. But as she went down, she grabbed at fur and let herself roll with the momentum. It wasn’t often she actually did much physical fighting with others, but she had had countless practice with Fenrir, who was easily twice her size, if not more. So the weight coming down on her was not unfamiliar, she attention simply snapped from her work on the pebbles into to automatic gear, like Fenrir had attacked her by surprise.
The difference was that Rayen was not as big as Fenrir, and so not as much of a challenge, but she had to use different tactics. Despite being evil, she had learned more defensive moves – mostly to be used with males if they ever decided to get too friendly, Fenrir had insisted that they practice it. While he had taught her some offensive, she had mostly relied on Fenrir for the offensive attacks, she was used as bait and a distraction mostly. The red and white femme used her weight to fall hard, pulling the femme down with her. The pain in her shoulder was exhilarating, and she hoped that both as Sigyn grabbed at Rayen with her teeth and the grip that Rayen had on her would bring her down and over her own body – and that the thrust over her own body would loosen Rayen’s grip on her. At the moment she felt the female coming down she let go, her tongue licking the small bit of blood that her teeth had gathered when she had punctured Rayen’s coat, wherever she had managed to grab, nothing serious.
Fenrir could feel the male’s resistance rise at Nyx’s jibe. His own excitement heightened, but he backed up just the smallest, moving complete opposite of Bane so that while he snapped at Bane, he could grab his back end with his teeth and paws. Fenrir sported his own scratches and slices on his neck and face, one lucky shot hit his shoulder – but through his bulky layer of fur and skin, only one on his neck dripped with blood. Through his blood vision, he felt nothing but rising anticipation. When one of Sigyn’s pebbles hit his eye when she lost focus. A low rumble of irritation resonated and he naturally backed up, blinking and regaining quickly – but had it been quick enough? The way moments were flashing quickly by, he half expected it all to be over. He kept his left eye half closed to he could see clearly with his right – he’d cleanse his eye when he had time. ooc// so i cam home sick, yayyyy, sorry for lack of content, or if it sounds fuzzy, it sounds like my head does right now xD

Nyx, Rayen;
He loved her.
He loved her!
Despite everything—the fear, the pain, the adrenaline—Rayen felt her heart leap into her throat. She turned with a grin uncharacteristic of the situation, breathless for a moment. "I love y—" But her words were cut off as she grunted and wheezed, being pulled down by Sigyn. It was all happening so fast, she was barely able to contemplate what was going on. She felt Sigyn bite her and she turned with a vicious snap to try and combat it.
As the females tussled, Nyx slunk nearer the males, tongue lolling disjointedly. She caught sight of Fenrir's bloody eye as he took a quick step back from Leo. He certainly was something else. Perhaps it was the sight of the blood, or perhaps it was the feeling of her neck ripping as Leo was pulled off of her, but that same feral desire was back. Every time she looked at Fenrir it boiled and frothed within her. She could feel it racing across her skin. It was like poison—a delicious, forbidden, tempting poison... She snarled, the sound having nothing to do with the situation. She woudl have to satisfy this feeling within her when they were done here. How exactly she would do that would remain to be seen.
Currently however, Nyx was not in any direct combat. As such, she peeled her greedy, dead eyes from Fenrir and looked at the altercation at hand. She was more powerful with her shadows now, and grabbing all of those present was suddenly easier than breathing. She didn't form them or twist them, trying to frighten the combatants with an eerie ambiance; instead, Nyx melded the shadows together and stretched them even bigger, creating a large, unbroken, shadowy haze. It settled over the fight, no where near as dark as the dome behind them, but dark enough to make them all work a little bit harder. Along with Bane twisting the shadows of the uneven land at their feet, it made quite the dim setting.
On Nyx's other side, Rayen was still trying to get a bite in on Sigyn as the shadow fell over the group. It wasn't a natural shadow, like when the sun goes behind a cloud—no. It was that orange demon doing it again, Rayen was sure. Suddenly though, Nyx was pushed from her mind as Sigyn intensified the rotation and bodily heaved Rayen up and off again. She hadn't gotten a bite in, but suddenly a new idea formed in her head. Instead of turning and continuing the fight, Rayen had seen her chance. She leapt upward, favouring the front leg that Nyx had bitten and so moving more slowly than she would have liked. Her back claws raked against Sigyn in her haste to get away. "Leo!" Rayen barked, hoping that her shout would not only alert Leo of the chance at flight, but also distract the males long enough for him to get away.
Nyx was too quick for her though. She dipped in front of Rayen without fear or hesitation. Rayen snarled, putting all of her fear and disgust of the orange and black wolf into her forward motion. She was going to rip right through Nyx's defences and make a run for it—Nyx was smaller than her, anyway. But then a strange thing happened. Rayen didn't know how, and if she was honest (which she never was), Nyx would admit she didn't know either.
As Rayen barelled forward, Nyx got directly in her path. She dug in those sharp claws of hers and heaved forward, her front paws and torso leaving the ground but her back paws staying planted. Rayen ducked her head and made her attack, but she didn't get through. Nyx had gotten exactly the right angle on it, and instead of being thrown off balance, all of her body weight (and each female's forward momentum combined) went into Rayen. Nyx didn't even move. Upon impact Rayen's shoulder made a horrific cracking noise, and she crumpled at the feet of the orange and black wolfess. Nyx's eyes bulged and she dove down, teeth first.

Leo:
Through all the blood, the teeth, the claws, and the cries of pain, Leo heard Rayen try and return his "I love you," but she was cut off by something. He was not sure what, but it could not have been good. He forced himself not to dwell on what it might be and instead focus on his one task. Protect Rayen at all costs.
Leo tried his hardest to push the other wolves off him—if only he could get to her—but they were ruthless. It would be hard to fight one of these brutes! This task was impossible!
A massive shadow poured over the company's heads, which distracted Leo only briefly. He was on the ground now, his stomach completely exposed to these killers. His claws thrashed at his attackers, mostly just trying to block teeth from tearing into him. His head turned as he dodged a blow, allowing him a glimpse at the ground. Pools of blood surrounded him, and he was quick to realize it was mostly his own. How much was he bleeding? There was no possible way he could make it out of this alive, and what did that mean for Rayen? Leo felt an ache in his heart at the thought of her, where she was now, if she was even still alive now, and it threw him off balance. He couldn't hold everyone off much longer, and he began to grow dizzy. It must have been the blood loss, but it could have been from his past head injury, too. Either way he was weaker, probably as good as dead, Rayen was at the mercy of that black and orange witch, and Leo let a whimper escape him.
But he heard Rayen's voice call his name out. So she was still OK. Er…OK enough to call out to him. Why did she call out to him, anyway? Leo's eyes darted to what Rayen was trying to draw his attention to, a chance of escape. He assumed the other males would be distracted by her call, but did not take the time to check. He dashed forward, heart threatening to pound out of his chest, and tried his best to withstand the sharp things — teeth, claws, what-have-you — that were jabbing into his skin as he ran. He was almost there! There was actually a chance they would both make it through this!
Leo ditched running and leapt off the ground, close to breaking through the mess of fighting when he saw Rayen's face. Her green fur was dingy and blood-covered, open wounds were visible in various places, but her eyes were still that lovely gold-flecked brown. She looked so fragile, but still, she was enduring all this senseless brawling. Leo, feet still moving, watched as she headed straight into the orange she wolf. At first, he really thought she would make it, but his ears flattened at the crack sound as the two collided. A bone must have broken, and Leo was certain she would no longer be able to run. Then the orange female dove straight into her, and Leo watched her teeth meet Rayen's flesh.
"No!" Leo yelled, his voice sounding like a dying animal, which he certainly was. He swiveled around, finding himself automatically heading in Rayen's direction. Leo's body was weak and still bleeding, so he didn't make it too far. He slipped and fell to the ground, getting a mouthful of dirt, but tried to stand back up again. His front legs were desperately pulling him closer to Rayen, his back ones doing little to help him as he tried to reach her. "No…" he said again. Maybe all hope really was lost after all.

Bane:
The battle raged, claws and teeth flashing in the blood splattered air, dust picking up from the unrecognizable paws of three males in a russeling match of life an death. This intense scuffle was the only thing on Bane's focus, the other three females he could careless about. Oh, and wasn't there that other strange black male that had spoken up about something? Well who bothered about him, no one, so that was nothing to worry about during this battle.
Bane felt a scratch here and there, or a tooth nicking his leg, but it was all painless to him as he fought like a possessed animal. He was overcome by the thrill of blood and anger mixed together like a tocix potion that set him wild. Fighting, Bane hadn't fought in a good while, too long of a while. This was new and exhilarating, but at the same time the gray and black wolf could feel his stamina draining. With each lash out or dodge his strength was less and his precision failing. He hadn't been practicing in the time of fighting absence, so he wasn't as good as he thought he was. He was not conditioned enough to endure this fight much longer without hurting himself more than the scrapes he already had. The proud, blood thirsty male however ignored this warning, and continued to push himself past his physical limit. Somehow the good wolf ended up on his back, and an open belly was placed before Bane. Complete weakness was open to Bane and without a second though he plunged his open jaw straight for the soft flesh of the vulnerable spot just waiting to feel the warm flesh torn by his fangs. A stunning blow suddenly hit his head to the side, and red was in his sight. Stinging pain inflamed the side of his face where he was struck, and he snarled from the frustration of his blood streaked vision that hindered his ability to see where the good wolf had rolled off to.
Bane furiously sook his head trying to clear the vision in his right eyes, but by the time he was able to focus on where the others were, the two good wolves had made a dash for it. Nyx's form became noticeable as she dove to block them from fleeing, they collided, but Bane couldn't recognize who went down. Exhaustion hit hard as he tried sprinting after them. His build wasn't meant for running either, he had a thick form that portrayed strength, not speed. Plus after his efforts being worn out in the fight, his capability to run was very slow. The only thing he could think of to stop their fleeing was shadows, so he summoned what darkness he could touch, and cast it over the two good wolves. However, Bane's strength was limited and his shadows only swarmed around the wolves like a gray mist, hardly a shadow that hid the light, only tainted the clear sky as if a cloud passed over head. Bane neared the females that had collided, and of what he could depict, the good male was also turned around and running back to his struggling partner.
