Broad shoulders pushed through the fresh spring undergrowth, and golden-red eyes scanned the area. The male heard some wolves talking in the distance, and stalked to them, his red fur shining in the sun. He saw white and pink fur, but that was about it, as he couldn't see much through the undergrowth he hid in. What was that he head? Something about hunting? His stomach slightly growled at the thought of a hunt. He stuck his broad muzzle through the undergrowth, then pulled it out. His golden-red eyes gleamed as he watched from the bushes he hid himself in.

Capri smiled, gesturing a nod to Maicest and Maya. He did not mean to forget their names, but now he knew for sure. Then Auroras joined the group. Capri's eyes widened and he smacked his tongue on the roof of his dry mouth. He felt parched, and forced a smile. "Hey there," he greeted after Maya told Auroras everyone's names. His voice was nearly inaudible, however, and his body seemed to relax. Capri gained his bearings and coughed in order to catch his breath. He gave a sideward glance to Ezra, then across Maicest and Maya before returning back to Auroras. "A hunt is a great idea! There are plenty of of us," Capri added, taking a confident step towards the other male, Maicest.
"What do you say, ladies?" Capri wiggled his eyes brows and leaned in as he eyed the she-wolves, making direct eye contact. He looked around hearing something in the undergrowth. A snort sounded from his maw, and he smacked his lips as he swiveled his ears on his head. His eyes narrowed and he turned back to the group. "C'mon," Capri's cyan eyes looked up at the sky to see the subtle clouds overhead, "The weather looks spot on for a hunt." It was not enough to assume heavy rains or storms. He smiled, lifting his tail and giving the group a content wag as he looked around between the colorful faces.

OOC: Heya! Let's get a post order established now just in case, so we don't get confused and lose people on accident. We've got quite a few people here and I wouldn't be opposed to some more~! Let's have the order go @thejamiestkim , Me, @b10hazard2003 , @falconsong , @faye , 🌅Phoenix🌅 If we get anymore people wanting to join, we can insert them in wherever they appear I suppose, I'll keep a little notepad of the order so I don't interrupt anyone myself! Perhaps this could be quite the fun little gang, or nomad pack that was mentioned. I look forward to it for sure! (Sorry If I'm rambling a little, needed 100 word minimum post.)

"A hunt?" Erza thought as she let out a quite chuckle under her breath. She looked to Capri with a proud, confident gaze. "I am up for a good hunt." The lean she wolf walked by Capri with a slight strut as she held her head high. While she waited for a response from Capri, Erza had many ideas running through her head."You will not make a fool of yourself in front of the others. Hunting is your bread and butter Erza." Then thoughts of her new powers came to her. "Maybe this will be an opportunity to attempt my Teleportation powers again." Erza looked to the group that had formed in the clearing. "So where should we go? I am also slightly unfamiliar with these woods"

She watched Ezra strut towards Capri with confidence bursting from her stride. She seemed to be a confident hunter, probably a lot better than herself, Auroras thought. "Count me in!" She added to the the already large pawful of wolves deciding to help. She glanced between the wolves and took in their interesting coat colouring, blue and pink were among the most obvious of the odd colouring. She left thoughts of the wolves coats aside and remembered about her own power she hadn't told them about and wondered if she should tell them about it. She was now only occupied by the thought and no other, What if they start to hate me because of it? She fretted, making her a little worried. Attempting to push it away she put on a small smile and her sky blue eyes glowed in anticipation about what they would think about her power and how the hunt would turn out. Keeping her smile plastered on her muzzle, despite her worry she said "Well what are we waiting for? Let's get moving!" With a flick of her tail she motioned them towards a lush green area she thought would be a good spot for hunting, not aware of the wolf hiding in the bushes.

(Maicest)All of the other wolves had agreed to go hunting. While this was not what he was expecting, he supposed he could start showing the other wolves around as well if they all went. Auroras had been the last to answer, and he sensed from the tone of her voice that she was nervous about something. But what? While Maicest pondered over the possibilities, Auroras motioned to a spot that she thought might wield good hunting, telling them to get moving. "Let's go" Maicest agreed with her, as he was tired of standing in the same place for so long. He two was too distracted to notice the wolf in the bushes, though he caught a whiff of the wolves' scent as he passed by the bush.
(Ayiu) Ayiu had heard the chatter of many wolves, that was what caused her to come near to the clearing in which they were. She had been traveling for a couple days now and had met few creatures besides prey. She had been listening for awhile, though only now had she come this close. She crept closer, her almost completely black coat serving as the perfect camouflage if she stuck to the shadows. The wolves were talking about going hunting, at this Ayius' stomach began to rumble, and she had to back up so it would not be heard. If I help them, maybe they will share what they catch with me... Ayiu thought, as her stomach rumbled once again. She slipped into the clearing and introduced herself. "Hello my name is Ayiu and I heard you were about to begin a hunt, may I join you?" She said as casually as possible.

So many new faces, so many potential friends! It was almost too much for Maya to handle. Where were all of these wolves coming from? Did this all happen just because she had alerted anyone in the area with her nonchalant humming from earlier? It was quite peculiar, and she could just faintly catch the scent of another newcomer as well! Perhaps hiding around to see what happened? Her tail thumped against the ground excitedly as she looked from face to face. She smiled happily at Ayiu and nodded her head happily.
"The more the merrier!" The outgoing she-wolf proclaimed, gladly welcoming another wolf to their small group! It was almost like they were steadily becoming a pack, it was strange! Of course she'd need to get to know the others much better before she even thought about anything pack related... Who knew it might've just been better to stay friends? Maya wasn't entirely sure but she would soon find herself up on all four paws once again and following Maicest. "We should get started though if we wanna hunt... Either gotta catch something big or a lot of small things if we all wanna eat!" She giggled a little. The lithe white and pink wolf wasn't a great hunter, but was perhaps hoping to learn a thing or two from the skilled wolves around her.
It was about this time, she turned to the bush that she suspected a wolf was hiding in. "You don't have to hide y'know, we can all work together~!" She chimed out. Despite thinking someone was in one of the nearby bushes and the fact she had directed her statement towards a bush, didn't mean she was aimed at the correct one. Quite the opposite in fact, she was talking to an empty bush nearby to the wolf.

"Well, you almost found where I was hiding. Close, but not exact." Daishin said as he slipped out from the bush he was hiding in. His stomach growled slightly and he cringed inwardly. He scanned the wolves, his face straight. Daishin sighed, and sat down, his red orange eyes focused on nothing. His jaws parted in a large, bored yawn. None of the wolves seemed 'strong' in Daishin's eyes, making them unworthy of fighting. Hunting was another thing, however. To him, speed was as needed as strength in hunting. "I haven't hunted since arriving here. Let's make it quick, then."

Erza kept a close eye on the red wolf that was hiding in the bushes. The she wolf knew you must not judge a book by it's cover, but she was not liking the vibe that he was giving. So many new wolves, so many new faces. Erza started to panic slightly, as she had never in her life been around this many wolves before. She gathered her thoughts and proceeded to follow the group, as she was certain her stomach was growling loud enough for the whole group to hear. Quickly, Erza went into her hunting mindset. With her body slightly crouched, Erza's paced quickened. Even though the she wolf was going at a faster pace, you could barely hear her movements.

Her black head turned and followed in suit with Ezra, her paws tapping quietly at the ground as she picked up her pace. As she caught up with the reddish she-wolf, the wind seemed to whistle harshly in her ears, not that she minded. Ignoring the warm whistles of the summer wind she narrowed her eyes and forced her full concentration on the hunt. It was all that mattered to her for the moment. A real joyous grin played on her lips as she took in the forest smells. Fresh lemon grass. The vanilla smell of the redwood pines. Even the odd mold had a somewhat pleasant smell to her. Maybe it was just her who enjoyed these things, she did not know, but one thing was for sure, she loved the forest. Lacking attention to the obstacles in front of her as the smells became distracting, her paws formed an awkward knot as she she toppled muzzle first into a heap. With her face numb, she didn't move for a small moment, slightly confused to what had just happened. As she gathered her wits about her she looked down past her snout were snapped branches and crushed bracken lay, along with the culprit, a small fallen log adorned with bleak mushrooms and grass green moss. Her chest rose and fell with a huff and sigh.
How could of she been so ignorant?
More annoyed grunts formed in her throat as she shook her head lightly, feeling coming back to her. A twinge of pain stabbed her snout and jaw which felt slightly dislodged. As she slowly and shakily lifted herself back onto her paws she threw a backward glance to see if anyone was nearby. Luckily for her, not a soul was in sight, though she still blushed in embarrassment. Teeth clenched, she continued on as if nothing had happened. Stupidly, she had only just noticed that Ezra had already vanished. Glancing around to try and catch sight of the she-wolf she picked up her pace again in the direction she thought she might of disappeared to. This time, there was no distractions.

OOC: Sorry, was waiting to see if @thejamiestkim would reply. Seems they're inactive though. Maya flicked her tail around happily behind her as she stayed with the group. The she-wolf wanted to talk a little more, but at the same time she didn't want to ruin any of their chances at catching something for all of them to eat. She felt like she might not be very useful for a hunting expedition, but surely didn't show it! Her smile never seemed to fade, even if she was feeling a bit down on herself. After a bit of walking though she couldn't help but ask a question.
"Soooo... What're we hunting for? Anything specific?" The cheery wolf said, wagging her tail a little as she looked around her at the different faces of the wolves she had just met.OOC: Gonna send out another round of tags as well to make sure this thread wasn't just forgotten. @b10hazard2003 @falconsong @faye 🌅Phoenix🌅

OOC: Gonna post now. Was gone for the weekend but back in action. I haven't forgotten about Daishin or this thread, also was waiting if TJK was gonna reply.
Daishin shrugged at Maya's question. He stood up, letting his golden red eyes gaze at the many wolves he met. "I'm unsure. Maybe something like a deer or goat. But I'm just saying. I don't recall I've introduced myself, but I'm Daishin." He said oddly loudly. Daishin walked closer to the group, keeping his head low. Somehow, his ribs began to show through the red of his fur, a sign that he hadn't eaten since he came to the valley. He wished to say something, but couldn't find the words. Instead, he paced back and forth, his eyes focused on what was ahead of his muzzle, but his ears tilted to the group.

As the reddish brown she wolf heard the chatter of the other wolves behind her she kept facing forward, keeping her eyes and mind on the main mission. As the group kept walking they were getting into the dense foliage. This is perfect hiding spots for prey!, Erza thought to herself. In the near surroundings, she heard a soft rustling. Her blue eyes scanned the area, looking through all of the bushes, trees and shaded areas. Nose to the air, Erza sniffed to see what she could smell. A very strong, slightly repulsive smell hit her nose. That must be, goat?, she questioned. Looking in the direction of the strong scent, there was a large dark green shrub. Keeping a close watch on it, Erza saw it rustle. Suddenly, the she wolf lowered her body down to the ground. Almost lying on the forest floor, but not quite. Ears set forward she looked back to the group, trying to get them to also look at what she was suspecting would be their meal.

Auroras: She lowered her small frame just above the forest floor, her snow underbelly lightly touching the ground and kept her sky blue gaze in searching mode. Her eyes glided over the giant redwoods, to the bushes just ahead and finally, she had caught a scent of something. Her muzzle twitched. Ears perked upwards and searching for the slightest rustle. This was her chance, her chance to find something they could all feast on. Well, maybe not something everyone can feast on, even if it was only a small rabbit, at least she had caught something. In her mind, something was always better than nothing at all. Something flickered in the corner of her eyes. As her head whipped around, there was only disappointment there. There was nothing at all. Probably just seeing things. Or maybe something just got away... She shook herself. No distractions form here on out! Her eyes were set ahead as she slowly trotted along the trail. This went on for a small while. Paw, after paw, after paw. Until she thought she had once again, struck lucky. Her miniature grin played on her lips. Come on! This has to be the one! She narrowed her eyes. Sure enough, it really was something this time. With her sky gaze locked onto the target, it was time to strike. Slowly, she moved in. She had to be careful not to lose it. She lowered slightly lower like a coil ready to spring. Finally. She pounced. Before the poor creature, whatever it was even knew she was there. She snapped her jaws around it and wrestled it down in her paws. She blinked. Her ears pointed straights to the skies above with excitement. She had finally caught something! She let go of it within her paws and continued to hold it within her mouth. Wonder where the others went! Better go find them and show them that I got something. As she spun on her pads and went in search of the others. They couldn't be far. Right?
OOC: Going away for the weekend, see you when I come back!

OOC: Whoops, my bad x.x
Maya tried to keep her distance from the group. She knew she wasn't a good hunter and didn't want to impede them any which way. She'd feel awful if she ruined a potential friendship just because she can't hunt properly. Who knew, maybe they'd teach her how to hunt correctly? That's it! She should just sit back and watch if she can, but she didn't want to appear like she wasn't doing anything. Instead she'd keep a little less than a wolf's length away from Erza to watch all of them hunt. Her tail wagged around behind her as she thought he plan a bit ingenious, a smile adorning her face still as she looked around at the others and started to get excited about a potential first hunt with the ragtag group.
