Rare Desert Flowers and Petals

Holt got to his feet and smiled. He looked around and saw a really good spot to hunt. He walked that way and sniffed the air. When he caught the scent of rabbit he stalked it until he was close enough then pounced. He missed it by a hair and the rabbit ran off but he didn't stop. He chased the rabbit until he caught up with it then killed it. When he looked around he had no clue where he was. He howled and howled for Nehabet to come and get him. He looked at the rabbit and got hungry so while he was waiting he started to eat it.

Nehabet watched with interest as he headed off. So she followed quietly bot far behind taking in the surroundings somewhat distracted by them for a long moment. She then heard movement and saw a hare dart past ears flattened she pushed herself forward after it chasing it down. She weaved and turned before she tripped the hare and killed it. She picked the hare up and looked for Holt. Despite their awkward start she was really starting to like Holt. She carried her hare over and sat down next to him with her hare she caught."nice catch"she said before she laid down and started eating on her prey she caught.

She smiled at her. "well at least you didn't get lost like me." he said giggling. He licked his lips after finishing the delicouse rabbit and stood up. He shook his pelt of any dirt cause even though he was brown it still itched. He wondered what they should do now since they got food. "what should we do now since we got food in are bellies." he said smiling and laughing at same time. He couldn't help but be funny since it was a nice day and he loved to be funny on nice days. He looked at her in wonderment and thoughts just came running in his mind but he ignored them and smiled at her.

"True I'm glad I didn't get lost there is way too much pink in the area..."She said smiling some. She laid beside him and thought for a long moment her bluish teal tail swishing behind her as she thought."hmm well what we could do is possible head out together maybe travel...im not sure"She said. At first it sounded ridiculous to her to think you would fall for someone without knowing them. Though in the past few minutes they had been together she knew more and more about Holt and for once she could tell she had fallen for the he wolf beside her."I know I said I'd rather get to know you first bit I've been getting to know you more and more in the past few minutes we've been hanging out and I think I really like you "She said.

He liked the idea of traveling he wondered what it would be like with her. She started talking and listened. He looked at her with a surprised face when she said she liked him. Then he surprised face left and turned into a happy smile. "well I like you too but wasn't I supposed to say that first?" heasked giggling. He liked this wolf so much and now she was telling him she liked her too. It was so hard to keep a straight face cause he was so excited cause now they couldn't keep that a secret anymore. He smiled at her.

Nehabet blinked watching his reaction with her almond brown eyes for a moment. She watched the surprise come over his face and her ears lowered slightly growing nervous at his surprise thinking the wrong thing for a moment til he smiled happy and she pricked her ears smiling some."Well you took too long"she smiled tail wagging as she aid that in a joking manner. She was hesitant for a moment before she nuzzled him before she pulled back and looked to him for a moment for a moment scared she was doing something he didn't want."so would you want to travel with me?"She asked.

He nudged her back and smiled. "of course I want to travel with you but where should we go. We could go all over or just travel for a bit before finding a good spot to live." he said smiling at her. He knew so many places in the valley that he knew lots of pretty sightseeing spots. He wondered what she would pick and looked at her still smiling a big smile. "we could also go to the mountains for some climbing." he said. He heard about mountain climbing but had never done it himself and he was a bit curious.

The brown and blue she wolf blinked when he nudged her back and she blinked and let her tail wag happily. "I'd love to travel for a bit see what beauty this place has to offer before finding a spot to call home if you want to do that...of course"Nehabet asked looking to him with a small smile. As he mentioned mountain climbing she blinked."I've heard of a legend about the mountain...something about wolves getting powers there but I wouldn't mind a bit of mountain climbing at one point"she said sitting up slowly and smiled happily.

He smiled at her and got to his paws. She sniffed the air and smelled the familiar scent of prairie/field. He started to wag his tail and couldn't help but giggle. "ok so there is a river that way, a prairie/field that way, and the mountains that way." he said pointing his tail in the directions. "where do you want to go my lady." he said still trying to be funny and the nice day. He smiled at her and thought about how pretty she was in the sunlight and how dirty he looked with his brown grey blackish pelt.

Nehabet smiled some as her tail wagged behind her in a slight blur of teal colored before she looked to where he point thinking for a moment. She thought about the river and seeing the possible colorful fish in them. Then her thoughts went to the prairieand fields the other way. She could just imagine seeing the beautiful flowers and scenery there and then he mentioned the mountains and seemed to think for a moment. With a smile and a twinkle of happiness in her almond eyes she spoke up"hmm we could head that direction towards the fields it would make for quite a scene"she said with a happy smile before she started yo make her way that way. She glanced back to see if he was coming before vanishing in that direction.

Holt ran after her in pure happiness. He couldn't wait to see the flowers and see who was cuter Nehabet or the flowers. He ran past her and landed in a puddle splashing her. He laughed and thought how much fun he was having. When he saw the field in sight he slowed down and waited for her to catch up. When she did he ran around the praise making pollen go everywhere. He sat down and smiled while flower petals stuck to his fur. He tried to shake his fur but they wouldn't come on and they where making him laugh.
