Loping easily into his new pack's territory, Drak scanned the area before finding a spot that seemed suitable to him. He stuck his snout in the snow to test its density before eating some of it out of habit from the days he didn't have a tongue to drink water with. He wondered if the strange new tongue he had could handle normal activities like that. he could wait until the snow was gone to find out, he though finally, by then he should be able to worm himself in nicely.


His moment of contemplation over, he started to dig a spot for himself in the snow, flinging whatever he didn't need out and away with his paws rather expertly.

| Ceia's trotted up silently behind the new member. Her red eyed watched him with avid interest, her tail flicking leisurely back and forth. She scrunched her nose up as she watched him eat snow. She didn't even want to think about how much bacteria might have been in that mouthful. It was such an uncouth move, but even someone like her realized not everyone grew up spoiled like her. She didn't bother to announce her arrival, having realized that most wolves of Dark Donoma usually felt her watching them.

Digging in snow wasn't the difficult, so he had a good sized spot ready to go in not too long a time. He was about to step into it to wiggle down into it and make it more form fitting but he paused as a little wave of shivers traveled up his back. Someone was watching. Turning to look behind him, he came face to face with the female. "...hello." he greeted quietly, cautiously. He reminded himself that he had gained the smell of their pack, they shouldn't question him too much.

| Ceia smiled rather politely, though on her it looked more like an evil smirk. She had noticed the telepathic mark upon his head and was curious as to just how much it cost him. He was cautious, most likely hoping she wouldn't take him for a stranger.

"Hello. My name is Ceia, it is pleasant to meet you." 

Ceia thought maybe she should ask for his name, but decided against it. It's not like she would use it anyway. She paced in a small circle around his den, lost in thought for a couple of moments. Despite still being a bit irked from her meeting with the White Wolf, she understood that she never gave anyone anything without sacrifice. Then she turned back to him with her red eyes narrowed inquisitively.

"What was the catch she gave you? Geist, I mean."

He stood stiffly as she circled around him and his den. He too wa sstill on edge about his meeting with the white wolf, but he stayed-especially when she began to speak to him. He relaxed slightly and sat down. A dark, slightly vengeful looking smirk played on his features. "My freedom....and with the extra little gift she gave me, the ability to speak to the one wolf I wish to speak to the most."

He watched her for a moment longer, "Glad to meet another wolf who understands so soon."

| Ceia huffed in amusement and eyed the other wolf in disbeleif. He had gave up his freedom? For what, revenge? There were many things Ceia would not do, and most of them were absolutely ridiculous, she would admit, but the only reason she would ever give up her freedom was to escape death.

"Your sacrifice is... admirable. Something I could not do." 

It was the truth. The evil wolves in White Wolf Mountain were nothing like they were back home. Not only did these wolves know what they want, they would do anything to get it. She needed to be like that, and learn that little Dorothy wasn't in Kansas anymore.

He returned a huff, though not as amused. "not so much as admirable as needed....unless you were speaking of the will to survive.' he pauses, "I do suppose I could have kept surviving without the ability to speak....but it is not an existence that I particularly enjoyed."

He sighed a bit, rolling his shoulder to get it to crack. "My name is Drak...and what might you have sacrificed?"
