The Royal Family ((Xenia and Uther, and pups~))

Xenia's pups had finally come to her. After becoming mates with the wolf known as Uther, she quickly became pregnant and soon would have a family of her own with the male. Her wish came true as her two beautiful boys were born. One was an albino, just like her and her father. A silvery crown adorned around his ear, similar to the couple's crowns around theirs. The other pup, born with melanism over albinism, took Xenia a bit by surprise but she loved him nonetheless. The slightly larger pup had a golden crown, just like Xenia and Uther's crown around their ears. She smiled happily and lovingly as she watched her pups.

She kept them close to her, laying on her side with the front end of her body up, occasionally reaching her head down to groom the pair of pups. The queen of Camelot wondered where Uther had gone off to, but didn't question it too much, after all they now had a pack to watch over and keep safe as well, and Xenia was still far from being able to help.

Uther

    Uther had stepped outside to get some air as the pups finally arrived. The hours had been filled with pain for Xenia and it hurt him to watch. The fresh air lifted his gloomy mood and made him realize that he was now a father. The large white wolf took a deep breath and turned to meet his new children. The tunnels pressed against his sides and made him want to proceed with caution, but he rushed to Xenia's side. Snuggled against her were two pups. A small white male pup with silver adorning his ear and forehead in the shape of a crown and crescent moon; and a larger black male pup with a gold ring like his parents. Pride swelled and Uther puffed out his chest. He licked Xenia's muzzle, then let his head rest against hers. "They're beautiful."

    The smaller size of the white pup worried him. Uther nuzzled the little guy and looked at Xenia. "This one will have to work hard to be respected with his small size. I hope he has a strong heart and mind to endure the hardships." Affection caused Uther to relax and admire the pups. He licked the black one and again looked to Xenia. "This brute will be seen as strong, but dim witted. I hope he has the brains to prove them wrong." 

    His large size was hard to maneuver in the small space. Uther curled his body around Xenia, facing the pups. He made sure his head was close to Xenia's so they could talk quietly without disturbing the pups. The white king swept his bi-colored gaze across the small family. "All five of our new additions are perfect. Camelot will be a strong pack."

Xenia was tired after having her pups, if she wasn't so worried or excited about them, she would've fallen asleep quickly and just rested. She couldn't sleep however, knowing that Uther wasn't there yet, and she wanted to watch over her two little bundles of joy. Thankfully, Uther made his way into their den, the first den in the Lilly Waren, perhaps they needed to move to a more deeper den, or perhaps it was best that the leaders be near the entrance.

"I believe both will turn out perfectly. Judging them just by their color, size, and looks, could be a bad judgement my King. They need names however before they can walk." she said, as the larger albino moved around her until he laid down. She licked his muzzle affectionately as he kept close to her and in whisper distance.

She cuddled her body close to her mate as she moved the pups a bit with her, keeping them close to her for warmth. Once again she bent her head down and groomed out the two pups once again, wanting to make them look presentable in case any other wolf decided to show up.

Uther

    He nodded his head in agreement with Xenia's statement and watched her groom the pups. "You're right. I'm sorry for being judgmental." Uther licked her ear and whispered, "You are a great queen. I thank you." Now he lifted his head and inspected the pups, trying to think of ideas for names. "They need noble and strong names. Something that will be remembered." He cocked his head and squinted his eyes in deep thought. "There was one wolf a while back.... Oh, what was his name again?" Uther pressed his eyes close and shook his head. The pain of trying to remember hurt his head, but a name flashed through his mind. "Bingo!" He silently yelled. "There was a wolf that was a knight in service to the great alpha Arthur, his name...was Gawain." Uther looked at Xenia to see her opinion of the name.

Xenia smiled back at her mate, licking his muzzle back after he licked her ear. "Behind any great king, is a great queen." she replied quietly, nuzzling against him a bit before returning her gaze to the pups and thinking up names for them. Soon Uther chimed in, naming the albino pup. She nodded in approval of the name, "Gawain sounds great.. Let me think for the other one.." she said, looking at the melanism pup, smoothing out his fur again. "Because we are all albino.. He sticks out like a star in the night sky.. How about.. Castor?" she questioned, looking back at Uther.

Uther

    His beautiful mate supported the idea of the name Gawain for the white pup and this made Uther very happy. Xenia then suggested the name Castor for the black pup. Uther looked at the black pup and imagined the opposite of what she had described. He saw a black sky. The pup's fur made Uther think of a pitch black night without a moon. All of a sudden, he saw a bright spot. The golden crown around his ear shone like a star in the night sky. A hopeful light in the darkness. Castor. He would be the light in the impenetrable dark. The star in the endless night. "It's perfect." 

    Uther looked at the two pups. "Gawain and Castor. Names that will be passed down through Camelot's history."

Xenia had thought of the opposite of a night sky, a white colored sky with black stars shining instead. She had a bit of an active imagination in certain aspects. The mother smiled back to her mate and nuzzle him again. "Then that shall be them, Gawain and Castor. Castor and Gawain. Our two little bundles of joy." she said, looking back at her mate lovingly. Her head looked back at the pups before she slowly laid her head down and on her paws, still letting her muzzle and nose face towards the pups, her eyes open for the moment as she watched the pair.
