The rather exhausted wolf lulled her pink tongue leisurely from her retractable mandibles as she cast her ice cold gaze across a vast, gold and green meadow. Or possibly valley, its size was arguably massive. All around the area deep forests stretched for miles. Although, she wasn't sure how far. The obsidian thicket of vegetation she had recently escaped from lay just yards from her haunches. Her spine cast a shiver down into her tail bone at the thought of the dark horrors that were hidden in it's depths and now circled her in. All she had was this gorgeous valley, but she still felt trapped in by the ominous forests, with it's endless array of violent creatures.
"I'll try to avoid any confrontations..."
She murmured to herself and proceeded deeper into the meadow. It's golden grass almost blended with her beautiful, golden metallic coat. Although she was obviously maybe a bit brighter. All thanks to the suns yellow rays in which she felt presumably better with at her back. Unlike the forest enveloping around her. The chilling darkness seemed to reach towards her, allowing for her divine features to contort into a fairly uneasy fixture. Alas she projected her aerodynamic frame into what was possibly the center of this valley. Her pace simultaneously increased noticably as she neared a miniscule, yet oddly symmetrical pond of clear mountain water. Must have been what was left from the winter time. As she calibrated her fiery, as unfit as it sounds, eyes dilligantly around the circle she could depicted numerous animal tracks coming and going. Large and small alike, some paw prints twice her own. -Not good...- She thought as she noted the majority of the larger tracks leading back into that dreadful forest in which she had no intention of being apart of, comparative to her 'good' nature.
Her unknowingly tensed muscles, most likely caused by being alone in a place radiating with ominousness energy, relaxed just enough so her narrow muzzle could dip into the crystal liquid. An immediate refreshing feeling was followed as if she had been suddenly woken up from a daze. She jolted her head upwards again, suddenly more aware of her surroundings, although nothing had changed. Just a simple breeze wafting unknown scents to swirl just past her now dampened nose.
