Striken was lost. There was no other word to describe it. After receiving his power from Taboo, Striken had started towards the grasslands. Here he was... in the grasslands. The tall grass was nearly as tall as Striken was as he pushed through it, so there was no doubt about that fact. What part of the grasslands? That was the real question. Striken thought he'd been heading towards Eternal Snowfall's border but he couldn't find it anywhere. Striken took another step through the grass. But there was only air beneath his paw. He yelped in surprise as he lost his balance. He tumbled forward into the wolf-sized hole. Striken was disoriented for a couple seconds but slowly got to his feet. He shook his pelt and looked around the hole he'd fallen into. It wasn't that deep and would be easy to climb out of. It seemed to lead to a collapsed tunnel. There were claw marks on the walls so it must've been dug out by an animal, supposedly wolves since Striken fit in it easily. What other animal would dig a burrow this big? Rabbits were much too small. A badger, nope still a little on the small side. The last animal Striken could think of was a fox, but they mostly lived in the forest, didn't they?
Striken clambered out of the hole. He looked around. He noticed another hole not too far off. There must be some sort of tunnel system or something beneath his feet. It was probably unsafe, since the hole Striken had fallen into seemed ancient. Suddenly Striken had a whiff of another wolf, a she-wolf to be exact. Maybe she could give him some directions. Striken didn't have anything against asking for directions unlike some other males. Maybe it was because they wanted to seem macho or something.
