Considering that it was autumn already the weather was so good and warm. Raven enjoyed as the sun's rays warmed up his pitch-black fur, the breeze blew softly, so it was not unbearable. He loved these moments. Everything was so calm and peaceful. The birds chirped loudly and happily, it was a cheery sound and created a happy, fresh mood in the whole area. Raven loved the adventures, he loved to wander around and discover new areas. He happily examined every new thing he saw, sniffed everything and his tail went crazy for the new smells. Especially he loved the flowers, every one of them. He loved the way they were so colorful, different and a lot of them smelled so good. He loved them just as much as he loved to roll in the mud like a crazy pup. Well, nobody said he was a simple case. Raven happily rolled in the dust and after he was almost fully covered with dirt, he shook himself off then yapped cheerfully. He was an easy minded wolf and never worried about anything, he savored the small pleasures of life, but often forgot about his surroundings. He let out a howl to measure his surroundings.

Konoha found his own sense of tranquility in nature. At the moment, he was particularly interested in the butterflies that seemed to be migrating toward the direction. That was good, right? If butterflies were going there, then where ever they were going must be safe for wolves as well!
The logic seemed good enough for Konoha, who was lost in the beautiful flutters of the creatures before him. So much so, that he was lagging behind Raven! He snapped out of his "trance" when he heard him making some noise a few paces forward, and ran to him happily. He was laughing. Laughing, and yet. He didn't know why. He was having fun though, and he enjoyed Raven's company. Maybe that's why he was laughing. He was laughing because he was with Raven.
He could certainly get used to this. Maybe he should stay with Raven. Maybe they could find a home together, or even make one! He was facing Raven now, giggling a bit girlishly at Raven's goofy behavior. He ran toward a pile of orange leaves, and made a "splash" as the pile of leaves exploded all around. He was full fledged laughing now. After a few minutes, he got back up, hoping to not be left behind by his companion, and the butterflies! They were decorated in many different colors. He could see orange, pink, brown, blue. He had even spotted a few purple ones! He didn't even know butterflies came in purple! Was that what other wolves were like? Did they too, come in all different shapes and colors? He had to wonder. Raven almost looked like his opposite! Not only that, but his size was large in comparison to his frail body.
He shivered. For some reason, his coat hadn't gotten any thicker. He thought this was strange. He had seen rabbits grow thicker coats, and Raven's coat was thicker then anything he had ever seen! He had wondered if he tried to tackle him, whether or not he would get lost in all that fur! He laughed. Raven was a huge help during cold nights. There were a few times when he thought he may have even froze to death had Raven not been curled up against him.
He told himself not to be spoiled. Raven probably only wanted to travel with him until he was no longer lost, and knew where to go from there. Heck, what if Raven already had a home! He talked about having a brother an such, so it wasn't unlikely. Well. Maybe he could ask to join his "pack", if he had one. That was what they were called, right? He couldn't remember. He had only heard of them once or twice. Since he barely interacted with other wolves, he hadn't even dreamed of joining one until a while back when he suddenly grew a bit more lonely. Probably a side affect of being alone for so long. He sighed.
He shook his face roughly, as if it was dripping wet. No! He didn't have time to think negative! Now was the time for fun! He began to smile, feeling the light breeze tickle underneath his coat, sending shivers up his spine. Maybe he should stick closer to Raven. It was a bit cold, and his fur really wasn't helping him to much. He walked toward the howling Raven, and sheepishly smiled at him. he had to admit, the howl was beautiful, and encouraged him to make his own. He looked up toward the sky, and let out a howl a bit higher pitched then Ravens. He thought for a moment. His voice was also a lot higher then Ravens...Maybe because he was smaller? His head fell back to head level as me smiled at Raven again, this time meeting his eyes, as a deep blush begin to form on his face.
OOC: LOL I had a lot of time for this post! xP

Raven sometimes simply just forgot about that he was no longer all alone. And the white wolf's happy laugh brought him back to reality. He felt a little embarrassed now for his childish, silly behavior. But he couldn't help it. His mind always wandered into every direction and was hard to concentrate to his goals. But since Konoha was with him, it was a lot easier than before, the white wolf always reminded him what he wanted to do and where they went. The journal was funny with the company, Konoha was a funny little thing. The white wolf looked enchanted as he studied the colorful butterflies. It was kind of cute, he always looked awed.
As he howled, he heard Konoha moving around him a little, then settle down near next to him. He had a sheepish smile on his face, like always when he was unsure of himself. Raven smiled to himself when he heard the high piched howl next to him. He never heard Konoha's howl or speaking him louder before. But looks like he started to come out of his shell. It was a good thing. Raven was sure about, the little wolf never really interacted with others and lived a hermit life. He was happy that he was the first person who started to pull out the white wolf from his comfort zone. Konoha needed to take a little more risk. Life was funny when you dared to risk and discover new horizons. Raven was taught to esteem everything, because life is impermanent and the moments are fragile. Everything can goes to it's end too quickly and can take a 180 degree turn. He experienced it on his own skin. Life can be so unfair... But on the other hand, it can give you so much miracle and beautiful moment that worth the suffering.
His mind wandered off again. He shook his head to clear it, and smiled down at the white wolf who was blushing again. It was funny to see him got embarrassed all the time. He was too funny on his own. "Well, Konoha. Your howl was beautiful" complimented the white wolf. "You hear something?" asked Raven as he pricked up one's ears. He heard clearly almost everything in a pretty large area. His best point always was his good hearing. It was a convenient ability. He heard the birds chirping crazily between the trees, the smaller animals rustling in the bushes, the foliage rustle as the breeze blew them lightly. Hmm, but no other wolf. "Let's try it again" said before he howled again. This time a little louder. He heard as the birds flew away frightened. He let out a few more howls, but heard nothing in return. Hm, it was no good then. He sighed, then looked down at the little white furball. Well, not so furry, but still. Konoha looked a little too cold again, despite the sun shone warmly above them. The breeze was a little bit chilly, and Konoha with that thin, pure white coat always was cold. He was Raven's exact opposite. It was an interesting thing. Raven studied the white wolf a few more minutes, then stood up and started to walk forward, just a few steps ahead. He sniffed the air. It was kind of clear, but mixed with the flowers and the small animals' scent around them. But as if he sniffed a little further, the smell now was a little different. It was a little colder, and... well he didn't know how to express it. It was a kind of different smell than he ever experienced anything like this before. His tail started to wag in curiousity. He tilted his head, then looked back to Konoha and smiled at him brightly. He knew, Konoha will go with him whenever he goes. "Let's go and see what's there!" shouted Raven excitedly.

Th-th-thanks" Konoha said blushing deeply. He gave him a puzzling look. "N-no...I..d-don't." he said shyly. His eyes made a squint as he watched Raven howl again, before ushering him to follow. "o-ok" he said reluctantly, as he followed the excited wolf toward the scent he had smelled. It was only then he began to pick up the scent of something out there. Perhaps Raven's sense of smell was a bit better? I did make sense, in Konoha's mind, because the wolf's nose was a bit larger then his own, so it must be able to work better..right?

Raven was excited, his senses went crazy with the new smells and noises. His instinct told him to go forward, so he followed them. After a while the scene started to change. There was less tree and less flower, and the grass was so much higher here. He rushed straight into the high grass. Little grasshoppers jumped out scared and bird flew off as he ran and jumped around crazily. He was laughing madly as the little animals fled away next to him, and the thin blades of grass tickled his stomach and side. The dry grass rustled his every movement and the ground crunched underneath his claws. He was laughing and yapping happily. "Konoha! Come on! Join me!" he shouted to the white wolf. "Konoha! Where are you?!" Raven turned around and around looking for the pure white coat, but because of the high grass he couldn't able to catch the other wolf's sight. He run around in large circles to catch Konoha but missed him all the time. "Konoha! Where are you?! Kono- ompf!" Raven suddenly struck into something large and massive. He looked at the four dark brown foot and black hoof. He felt warm breath hit his head what ruffled his fur. He peeked up then swallowed hard, fear took over his body. His whole body flinched and strained at the sight of the really really angrily looking large buffalo. Slowly he started to back off, then shouted. "Konoha! Run!" screamed out his lungs as he started to run for his life as the angry buffalo started to chasing after him.

Everything in front of him seemed to flash into chaos in just an instant. All of a sudden, the large animal was stampeding toward them! He yelped, before turning around to run for his life. After a few yards, he tried veering to the left, hoping to get away from the creature. He knew what the were. Buffalos. He had seen them once before on the plains west from here. He wondered what one was doing alone, and this far east. He didn't know them to be lone creatures, like him. Perhaps it's lost? He wondered if he could try to reason with the animal. Could he even communicate with buffalo..?

Raven, breathing heavily from the running, peeked back to see the large animal turn into another direction. He was so much faster than most of the animals, and if he was really into it he could leave everything behind himself in an instant. He was kind of used to run for his life, because the sake of being a curious – and kis of stupid – wolf, he angered a lot of big animals so he needed to run for his good. It was kind of amusing to see the puffing large animals chasing after him madly with anger flashed big eyes. He loved this kind of adrenaline rush and the frightening excitement. Yeah, he was a kind of weird wolf. When he looked back his eyes just cached a handful of white fur from Konoha's coat. The small wolf looked kind of dazed and out of his mind, and the large buffalo still marching right towards him. What the hell are you doing Konoha?! He cursed under his breath. "KONOHA, RUN!!" The white wolf suddenly flinched and something seemed finally clicking in his mind and started to run. Raven saw as the wolf tried to maneuver around to shake off the large mad buffalo, but the big animal saw red and chased after him like a lunatic. Shit! cursed Raven loudly. He started to run towards them, his mind quickly was on fire as he tried to think of something to shake off the buffalo. C'mon Raven, think, think, think! Argh, nothing useful came to mind as he saw the animal getting closer and closer to the escaping white wolf. Raven's paws hitted the ground loudly as he pushed himself toward like flash, he was almost flying. Cold air burned down his throat as he was gasping for air. Something suddenly catched his attention from the corner of his eyes, and a good plan formed in his mind immediately. He went into right and made a large circle around the buffalo and Konoha. He approached them from the other direction. When he was close, he grabbed Konoha by the neck and pulled down into a deep hole on the ground. They both fitted into it perfectly. Raven almost entirely buried Konoha underneath his body, as he watched intensely the buffalo rushing above them. When the animal seemed to not notice them, he exhaled in relief. "Oh, thank God. I thought we'll die."

Konoha was literally breathless. Being crushed by his new friend that is. Though, the contact alone would have been enough. He breathed hard franticly and weakly touched Raven with his paw to try to get him to shuffle a bit so his paw wouldn't be directly pushing on his throat. The dark wolf's coat was almost burning hot. In fact, Konoha could see his hot breath as it fell on his face. His own breath was a lot softer, and only made a small cloud of gas every gasp he made. "R-raven.." He tried to say, though he was glad he wasn't hurt.

Everything was still. Quiet, peaceful. It was her zen garden, the place where her mind could rest from the constant game of chess that was her life. She was very close to her brother Torrent, but sometimes he could be so thick and tactless. Ava wondered if he was okay. Was he lonely? Hungry? Lost? He was not lonely, that was for sure, he had that strange shewolf Red. He was not hungry, for they had gone hunting and brought down a great deer. Lost? Red had a great sense of direction. No, he was not physically lost. Though Avalanche worried for him. He was not aware of his destiny or fate. He was not aware that perhaps his actions now might lead to something greater. Avalanche knew that she could not shield him forever. She sighed and opened her teal eyes.
All around her were the barrens. They were virtually flat, though the landscape was occasionally riddled with hills, and pocketed with ravines. The earth underpaw was sharp and dry, the grass tough. Despite its raw harshness, Avalanche saw its sweet hospitality. A bright, lemon yellow butterfly flitted by to land precariously on the intimidating sharpness of a thistles bloom. See? Where there is beauty there is danger, where there is bitter there is sweet, where there is life there is death. The shewolf smiled softly and stood, thick white clouds obscuring the raging hot summer sun.
Ava looked down at a small puddle, a result of last nights rainstorm. There she was, her russet pelt swirled with white and teal. She smiled. It was like looking at her mother. The neutral wolf turned and padded onwards, making a trail up to the crest of a nearby hill. When she reached the summit she gazed down on the barrens. It was so peaceful. She could see the large prey creatures grazing, small prairie dogs popping out of divots in the pocked earth. And then she saw them two wolves racing around. Should she go down there and greet them? Or should she return to her meditation. She knew right then that the latter was impossible. Now that she had seen them she would not be able to rest. She simply had to know. So she prepared herself, running through possible encounters, questions and confrontations, planning out her response carefully. She rolled her shoulders and loped diwn the other side of the hill, to come to a halt 100 yards away, teal eyes surveying the pair.

Wing shoved her way up the mountain agienst the wind. Her pure white fur was tangled, but Wing took care of her fur. She made a point of keeping it white, so she didn't look brown. Her twisted leg and splayed paw didn't bother her much anymore. They once had, but she had lerned to live with it. Her nose detected wolves, and she slunk down. Her twisted leg looked very odd, as it bennded backwards. But she was very stelthy as she approched. Wing knew some wolves thought her color had power. She might be white, but she had no mistic powers. Her mother once told her her family had come here from a far away place. Covered all year with snow. Wing dreamed of this place, until her mom had been murdered. The thought of her mother's bloody pelt was still fresh in her mind, as it had only happed a few months ago.

Raven listened closely for the sounds from the hole. The large buffalo was far away now. He kind of forget about his presence until he heard a small whimper underneath him. He jumped a little and shifted his weight so he didn't crushed the wolf underneath him. Quickly peeked out from their hiding spot, and when he didn't saw anything, quickly jumped out from the hole. When he looked back to Konoha, he realized, that the hole was so much deeper than he thought for first, and only he was too large for it. Konoha was so deep inside the hole and Raven needed to help him out. Konoha's pure white fur was now covered with mud and dirt on his belly side. Raven looked at him with guilty filled eyes, because he knew that the white wolf was so infatuated to keep his coat clean. Must be difficult to keep clean a white and beautiful coat like this, thought Raven. "Sorry" mumbled Raven and started to clean the mud-covered fur. "You're not hurt anywhere, right?" examined Raven the small wolf's body looking for injuries. He didn't saw any visible injury, and let out a relieved sigh. Then his ears quickly twitched when he heard a small rustle near them. His tail went straight, pointing to the air, then suddenly the black wolf started to rush into the thick, large grass. He sensed a little bunny, so he went after it and chased the poor little thing around in little circles. The light brown rabbit wasn't enough fast, so Raven quickly caught up and grabbed the animal by it's throat. The bunny let out a high pitched squeal, but soon stopped the struggling in the black wolf's mouth. Raven jogged back to Konoha happily, with the dead rabbit in his mouth. He dropped the animal in front of him, and sat down with his tail waving happily. It was his kind of "apology" for causing trouble to Konoha.

It took a few seconds for Konoha to realize what just happened. He blushed intensly as Raven brushed his coat. "I-I-ts fine..I-I-I." he said. "Nn-no" he said blushing. Suddenly, Ravens attention turned toward a nearby bush. When he heard the rustling, he had jumped behind the darker wolf, only to find him walking toward it. Suddenly he began to run, inducing a head tilt from Konoha. Suddenly, a sharp, high pitched squeal ran in Konohas ears. He gasped, and suddenly Raven immerged from the brush. With. With. With a..dead rabbit in his mouth. In an instant, Konoha's mouth dropped wide without saying a word, as tears began to stream down his face, making a small pond on the ground. The rabbit's body fell on the ground, and Konoha ran toward it, and prodded it with his nose. He made a whine. The rabbit was dead. Horrified, he ran in the opposite direction of the body, now crying loudly. Little did he know, he would end up running towards strangers! But Konoha didn't realize this, being so distraught with his emotions. He had thought Raven was a good person! So how could he just murder an innocent person like that! He didn't know. 'W-wh-why would he do that?'he thought, replaying the message over and over again in his mind

Raven freezed totally when he saw Konoha's expression. He didn't understand what he did wrong. He wanted to make up for causing trouble for him, but ended up messing things again. Konoha looked terrified and started to cry. Raven looked at him confused, then panicked when the white wolf started to run to the opposite direction. What did he do wrong? He did hurt Konoha somehow... but he didn't intended to, he just wanted to give him a little gift, thought Raven sadly. He saw the white fur ball starting to fade from his view, so he quickly started to run towards him. Whatever he did to hurt Konoha like this, he needed to apologize. "Konoha! Wait, please!" shouted Raven, but the white wolf didn't seemed to hear. "Konoha!" This will not going to work. "Konoha, wait for me, please!" They just ran into circles, but Konoha didn't seemed to notice. The white furball just ran forward like he was chased by a monster. Raven started to get tired of running in meaningless circles, chasing the small wolf. He wanted to apologize, but Konoha made it impossible. They just ran from hill to hill. Raven huffed in frustration, then his eyes widened in shock, when he saw the rocky end of the hill where they ran towards. It looked dangerous and unsteady. "Konoha! Stop! Stop!" he screamed. This is going to be bad. Really, really bad. "Konoha, stop! You're going to fall!" Raven picked up his speed, and quickly caught up with Konoha, who was still sobbing and running madly. He grabbed the white wolf's coat by the neck and stopped him. "Thank God" breathed Raven in relief, then his eyes widened when he heard little sounds of cracks. Uh-oh, this is bad, crossed the thought his mind, then screamed loudly when they started to fall, with Konoha still in his tight grip. Raven prepared for the worst, and screamed his lungs out. The squeal choked when surprisingly they hit the ground after a few seconds. He prepared for a deep, sharp gap, but much to his surprise it was only a little scarp, and the ground was thickly covered with dry grass so he didn't hit himself too badly. He managed to turn themself over before the fell so now Konoha was on Raven's belly.

Wing starred slightly at the running wolf. Her blue eyes flashing. Why dose he run?, she thought. Then she looked back to the black one. She crept forward. She sighlently cursed her white fur. Stelth could be almost impossible, with white fur. Then she felt a twig snap under her paw, and she cursed too quitly for anyone to hear. She ran though her choices. Should she reveal her location? Or should she run like the other white wolf? She debated, and finly dicided to stick around, and maby snatch the rabbit. She darted into hiding as soon as she made up her mind.

Ava watched, calculating her next move. She obviously would move, what decent wolf would just stand and watch a struggle without trying to understand it? Not her. She was a intellectual wolf who wished to know all things and was so far succeeding. The russet and white shewolf padded forwards, not bothering to quiet her paw steps as she advanced. She would not threaten them if they did not threaten her, and she would of course show them the proper amount if respect asking as that too was returned. She neared the two wriggling makes, teal eyes blank save for the spare twinkle of amusement mixed with pity. She let her tail hang down around her haunches and she spoke, voice smooth, non threatening and loud enough to be heard.
"Is there something wrong you two?" She spoke a bit motherly, commanding obedience, Avalanche was not especially assertive, but when in the midst if a conflict, stability would be needful.
