Amora gasped as she flung herself to the ground. Her side hit the frozen soil with a thump, the breath in her lungs forced out of her heaving chest. Once she sucked in some oxygen she glanced at her leg. She had tried to pull it up to her breast but had failed. Her foreleg was completely massacred. How had this happen? Her pain muddled mind struggled to grasp what had just happened to her. It all started when she ran up the mountain pleading with Sheba to give her a power. Evidently Amora had received the power of botany from the white wolf. Amora now had limited control over the plants that grew all over the valley. On her way home she had met her brother Ruko who had also left home behind. The reunion was short, replaced by a friendly battle of powers. Botany VS Cyclone. Because if his skill and her in experience, Amora resorted to cunning and trickery in order to win the brawl. This, however angered her brother who had his naive heart set on getting revenge on their absent father. Thus Amora fell from a great hight due to Ruko's fierce winds that destroyed her leg. After that she ran, mind focusing on survival, instead of pain. Now here she was shuddering in the cold, hot crimson blood draining from her appendage. Now fully go coots and aware, Amora knew how to survive. She would never make it up the mountain to white magic. She would bleed to death before then. So there was only one option.
Amora took a deep breath as she began her agonizing work. First she used the last drops of her power to squeeze below her shoulder, to prevent bleeding. Now for the hard part. Shaking, Amora twisted her head towards the place where her shredded flesh met the organic tourniquet. Slowly she open her jaws and-
Amora woke, only to scream in pain. It hurt. It really did hurt quite alot. No. That wasn't a equivalent word to what she felt. Agony? No. Too soft. Pain blazed through her, boiling her blood, her vision swam and she blacked out. Amora came to, snow blanketing her in white powder. Her stump leg didn't hurt as much when it was numb with cold. She raised her head, snow clumps rolling down from her skull. She was still riddled with pain, but it was not nearly as bad. The shewolf scouted the ruins and felt bile ruse up her throat when she saw her own leg powdered in snow. Turning away, belly growling, she stood.
Three legged Amora was going home.
