Mykko:
Mykko took a deep breath in. The air was crisp and chill. The leaves above his brown head rustled with the dryness of Autumn. The brown wolf who padded carefully through the forest stood out with his blue, purple, and green markings. Mykko picked his way carefully through the bushes since his only somewhat graceful gait could easily be broke with a misplaced step. His long legs lifted high off the ground with every pawstep. Suddenly a warm breeze drifted through the orange forest. The male lifted his head higher, his tufted ears flicked forward. His thoughts began wondering over the occurrence. ’How strange… today isn’t in any way warm. Why would there be a warm breeze? It didn’t come from the south as most warm temperature tend to do. Quite the opposite in fact. This needs an investigation!’
The male quickened his pace and pointed his nose towards the North. He quickly came to the edge of a grove. Looking up at the trees Mykko cocked his head to the right in wonder, ’Pink trees? What a phenomenon! Though I suppose, they aren’t that strange since many wolves have more unnatural colorings, myself included!’ Mykko wandered into the forest of usually colored trees. Warmth enveloped him as he stepped into the area.
’There are probably wolves here. Especially considering that the temperature in this mystic grove defies the outer weather. It probably something to do with color of the trees. I need to know why they are the way they are. Why has the Power chosen to color this part of the forest differently than the rest? Is there something special here?’

Looking all around at the lovely pink trees around her, Ellie smiled. Even though the trees made her feel smaller than she usually does, she wanted to climb them, and grab one of the leaves, they would look very nice as a small token of some sorts to have around your neck. She smiled slightly when she saw a smaller tree, more than likely brand new. She hopped over quietly to the tree, and looked up at it smiling softly.
She then walked all around the tree trying to decide a way to climb it.. Finally she decided the way and jumped high enough for her paws to reach one of the branches, and she hung there on the branch for a moment, before pulling herself up slowly. She may be small, but she is certainly a tough one.
When Ellie finally pulled herself on top of the branch, she lifted up so she was on her hind legs and grabbed a hold of another branch and she plucked a few leaves off of a branch that she believed were perfect. She smiled but then felt the branch beneath her begin to creek, and then CRACK the branch broken and she tumbled upside down and landed on her back with a thud, the leaves she had scattering around her.
She groaned softly as landing on her back hurt... She rolled over and stretched out softly, lowering the front of her body and then she lifted it up, lowering the back half of her body and then she walked around to pick up her leaves again.

Mykko:
'CRACK!' The sound resounded through the air like thunder. Mykko jumped a foot off the ground at the sudden, loud noise. His body language became very much like a scared kitten. His fur rose as he scampered a couple steps back before he composed himself.
’Sudden ominious crack probably means there’s something big nearby. The wind has changed direction so I can’t smell its scent. It’s most likely a wolf, but a bear or badger could just as easily seek refuge here. A bear would be especially eager for this warmth since prey’s probably abundant here and a bear needs to fatten up for its hibernation. Though I should try to stay optimistic since optimism can improve my everyday life and even increase my life expectancy… It’s probably a wolf, just a friendly wolf. Of course, there is a percentage of 46% that it’s not a wolf. There’s also a 14% chance that it’s an evil wolf which is just as bad as meeting a bear. But there’s also a 11% chance that it’s just prey though most prey couldn’t just break a branch and elk are most likely found in the grasslands, but it is possible. Then I should also consider the 7% chance that the branch broke on its own. So there’s a 58% chance that whatever it was won’t hurt me and a 42% that it will. That’s 12% away from my takable risk percentage of 70%. Which means I should go.’
The thought calculations flashed through Mykko’s head over the course of several seconds. He turned to leave. A soft groan of pain reached the male’s black tufted ears which caused him to recalculate his percentages, ’That sounded wolf-like so that lowers the possibility that it’s not a wolf to 20% since there is still a possibility that a non-wolf animal made a wolf-life noise. So then there’s 31% chance of it hurting me and a 69% chance of it not hurting me. 1% away from my takable risk percentage. That’s not much but 69% is still not my solid 70%’
Mykko took a step towards the regular forest with a sigh. He would’ve liked to stay in the intriguing forest, but his 70% rule had always served him well. Then another variable clicked into place. The wind shifted directions. The brown male paused to take a deep whiff of the warm breeze. ’A wolf! 100% chance of it being a wolf! If I was closer and the scent stronger I could determine whether the scent is feminine or masculine. This lowers the possibility to getting hurt to 24% which means my 70% takable risk percentage is met with 6% to spare. I guess I get to stay longer after all!’
Mykko made u-turn and trotted towards the sound that had started all his calculations.

(wow xD)
Ellie shook her pelt, her fur and ears flopping back and forth on her small body as she put the leaves gently in her mouth, but made sure not the chew on him. Her back really started to hurt, and she groaned again and laid down, setting the leaves on the ground softly, and placing her pawn over them to make sure that they wouldn't fly away. Hopefully it was just the wind being knocked out of her from the fall, and nothing serious that could cause her to die. She rather not die now... she isn't even two years old yet for crying out loud! She can't die now, she still has a full, lovely life to live... If she even finds anyone that suits her needs.
She doesn't much like the wolves who have the weird colours, she much prefers the colours that are more brown, grey, black and white. Or some cases tan, but the other colours just seemed weird to her... She sighed as she laid there breathing in and out softly as she felt her back slowly stop hurting her, though she knew she was going to be sore from the fall for a few days...

Mykko:
Another soft groan drifted through the air. It was filled with pain. Mykko grew more anxious at the sound. ’Whoever the wolf is, they’re in pain. Pain can make a wolf make rash decisions and act out of character. Maybe I should recalculate… No that extra 6% is enough above 70% for now. Besides they might need my help!’
Mykko spied the grey form of a wolf between the trees. The fickle wind had shifted again so Mykko still could determine a gender. The brown wolf squeezed through a space between two trees. He didn’t spot the rock until it was too late. He tripped and tumbled to a halt in full view of the grey wolf. ’This was not how I planned to make my entrance. I should say something before I seem like a total idiot.’ Mykko opened his mouth to speak but stopped himself, ’Wait, I already seem like an idiot rushing to speak would only make matters worse. I should just regain my footing before saying a word.’ Mykko carefully closed his gaping mouth and gracefully pulled himself up to his full height. He easily towered above the female with his long spidery legs pushing him towards the sky.
’I’m dwarfing her, maybe I should bend down or something. No, that would just make me seem condescending. Now, what to say... “Hello” of course, but I should apologize for intruding. Be a gentleman.’
”Hi, uh, my apologies for crashing in on you, miss. I tripped.”

Ellie was still breathing softly to make sure her back pain was gone... She looked at the sky, and then at the leaves before sitting up and grabbing the leaves in her mouth. The leaves flew out of her mouth, as she yelped and jumped back away from the creature that popped into her view and scarred her. Watching the wolf, she kind of gave a slight grown as this person was a male, and not only that he was all 'sparkly' as she called those who had weird fur colours.
'Just my damn luck, of course Mr. Sparkly decides to show up with no chance of me being able to run away.' She thought harshly and rolled her eyes as she looked at her leaves that were scattered around and she growled lowly again, she was getting tired of trying to pick up all of the leaves again.
Hearing him talk only make things worse, She simply just said "Cut it, Sparkly." with a tad bit of a harsh tone, as she went to pick up the leaves again.

Mykko:
She was glaring at him. Then came the sharp words. Mykko shifted his weight uncomfortably under her gaze, suddenly unable to gather his thoughts. ’Uuuuuuuuuuuuuh,’ was all he could think as she rolled her eyes as she plucked leaves off the ground. Then he shook himself slightly and start forming coherent thoughts again. ’Great, she hates me. There must be a reason for her dislike. Maybe she dislikes gentlemen or males or other wolves or she’s evil. It’d be just my luck if she was evil. Maybe I should increase my takable risk percentage to 80%... Oh, what is she doing? Leaves? Why would she be picking up leaves? What is she going to eat them? I’ve never heard of a wolf that eats leaves. That’s impossible though since wolves are carnivorous and eating flora could possibly be very harmful to one’s health. That’s most likely not the reason she’s collecting leaves though. She might just want to compare leaves. I also hear of she-wolves who weave feather into their fur, maybe that’s what she wants to do with her leaves. Now that I think about it, that probably the most likely why she’s picking up leaves. Leaves at this season are beautiful! I should offer to help. Wait. She hates me. Just… um… I’ll pick some leaves up then. I won’t say a word.’
Mykko bent over and carefully peeled a reddish colored leave off the the ground. He scanned the ground for more colorful leaves though none caught his silver colored eye. So Mykko trotted over to the grey she-wolf and offered the leaf to her, silently hoping that she wasn’t evil.

Ellie watched the mutt as he stood still after her words. She continued to pick up the leaves carefully, and when she saw him pick up one, and then try to give it to her she backed up, wishing she could hiss or she would've hissed at him. She honestly did hate those with weird colours, they seemed like demons to her. It doesn't help that any odd coloured wolf she has see was evil anyways. Even though this one was trying to make peace with her, she didn't trust it one bit. She rejected the leaf as she picked up the last pink leaf on the ground, and kept them in her mouth and then walked past him without saying a word.
Though for some reason, she wanted the wolf to follow, it just felt like he should. So she looked at him and then tilted her head towards the direction she is going and started to walk again. Why... why did she do that? Why did she allow him to come with? She's being stubborn to her self now.

Mykko:
’She rejected my leaf. That absolutely confirms it! She hates me. She hasn’t attacked me yet and she hasn’t shown any signs of aggression. So, she’s probably not evil. Most likely a neutral since very few or zero good wolves glare at a wolf who's shown nothing but peace. Time to start working out most likely cause of hate. List of things I’ve done that might offend her: Was a clumsy idiot Was too polite Called her “miss” Gave an excuse Am being too quiet Tried to help Failed to help Got called “Sparkly” What did I do wrong? And why did she call me “Sparkly?” Why “Sparkly?” Maybe it’s something to do with what I look like?’
The male took a pawstep back as the she-wolf swept past him like a storm in the distance, flashing her silent glares as she walked. Mykko wondered what the thunder would sound like as he made the metaphor. Off she stormed. Mykko sighed. The red leaf stuck to his tongue and vibrated with the breath. He shook his head to free himself of the leaf, but it insisted on staying put on Mykko’s pink tongue.
The sound of the she-wolf’s steps paused. Curious, Mykko lifted his head. His silver eyes widened as she indicated that she wanted him to follow. ’Maybe she doesn’t hate me after all!’ Mykko thought as he stumbled into motion. He tripped over his own long legs. ’I need to be more careful!’ He scolded himself as he got back on his paws and padded over to the grey she-wolf’s side as she walked away.
’I don’t know her name. I should ask her name, but I give my name first. That would seem less threatening than asking point-flat for her to reveal her identity.’ Mykko cleared his throat to grab her attention. ”My name’s Mykko,” he said straining to remain casual, ”What’s yours?”

Ellie raised an eyebrow at the wolf when he tripped over his legs as he started to come up towards her. She simply rolled her eyes and continued walking. When he finally caught up to him, she mostly kept walking forward, and didn't pay much attention to him other than when he started talking.
Sure she had been mean, and honestly she had good reason, he's a friggin sparkly dog. But whatever, He'd just be able to help him work on the necklace she's been doing for the longest time now. The only real reason she actually brought him along. When he stated his name, and then asked for hers, she looked at him and shook her head. She couldn't talk anyways, and if she did she didn't want to risk loosing a leaf. So she just watched him for a moment and continued on towards her small home that was almost like a hole in the ground.
She smirked with the leaves still in her mouth when she thought about the fact that he was tall. She made the hole near the base of a larger tree, and the hole was in the roots of the tree, though she did her best not to disturb the tree in anyway as she climbed into it. She placed the leaves next to a root that had the necklace hanging on it. It already had a few feathers on it of different birds that she's either captured or found on the forest floor.
Ellie looked outside the hole at Mykko "Coming or what? Or can Sparkly not fit 'cause he's too tall?" She responded and then laughed at her comment before walking away back to the necklace.

Mykko:
His multicolored cheeks fluffed in a wolf’s imitation of a blush as her response to his question was a dismissal shake of her head. What was it with him and other wolves? He never seemed to make the impression that he calculated would occur. ’Wolves can be so unpredictable. Life is so unpredictable. Why can’t things ever go the way I planned?’ Mykko was about to continue thinking about his failures at engaging in social activities when he noticed the leaves that the she-wolf carried in his jaws. He gave himself a mental facepaw. ’Of course she can’t answer me. She’s carrying all those leaves. The only reason I could talk was because my leaf is stuck to my tongue.’ Encouraged that the reason for the unanswered question was not Mykko’s fault, the male’s paws lifted highered and his head raised slightly.
Mykko’s mind whirled as he began suppose future possibilities. ’Where is she taking me? Maybe the leaves had something to do with it. Where would I go if I was collecting leaves?’ A puphood memory flashed in his mind. ’She might be taking me to the creek so we can float leaves down it. I used to do that all the time when I was younger. Though she doesn’t really seem like the type to be playing with a stranger. Then again, what do I know? I’ve only just met this wolf. Though I should consider other possibilities. What if she’s leading me to some evil ritual with leaves and… no… That’s highly unlikely.’
As the mind of the brown male kept grasping for explanations, the two wolves approached their destination. As the hole came into view, Mykko was finally arriving at a logical conclusion. ’Where else would one go with leaves? Well, they can be used as bedding. Maybe we’re going to her den… or a cave… or…. that must be it!’
The she-wolf disappeared inside, but Mykko hesitated as he considered the size of the hole and the length of his legs. ’Approximate circumference of the hole equals 8 ft so the diameter must be somewhere around 2.3 ft. My height is approximately 3.1 ft tall so I can’t fit without bending down. The length of my legs is about 1.6 ft. If I crawl in on my belly, my height will be about 1.5 ft. Wait I need to consider the added height of my folded legs which would make me 1.8 ft. Therefore it is possible that I can fit.’
As Mykko finished his calculations, the female’s taunting voice rang through the air. The male was silent. He just lay down on his belly and pulled himself forward with his paws. He inched through the opening.

Ellie was a little surprised that he was able to fit but she was still smiling at her taunt towards him and she went back to the necklaces and pulled out an earring that had a blue to black faded feather on it with a small sharp hook she smiled and rubbed the feather with her law lightly before looking back towards the sparkly wolf and then motioned over here "when you're done with your thought process that lasts 5.5 billion years can you come over here?" She asked as she watched him. She then looked back at the earring and flicked her ear which actually had a few scars from cuts and attempts that she tried to do by getting the earring into her ear. But the pain hurt and she can't do it unless someone else actually forces it into her ear to make the hole. The reason she brought him. She knew he had no intentions to kill her. Unless he was just that good. But her calling him names doesn't seem to affect him at least in an angered emotion. So she knew he wasn't going to do anything to her.

Mykko:
Mykko finished squeezing through the hole and tried to get back to his paws. ’Just ignore her taunts unless I have some smart remark to response… I got nothing. His brown head thumped against the ceiling as he attempted to stand up. He winced and slouched to allow himself more room to maneuver. He padded the couple paces towards the she-wolf, careful not to tread on any collected leaves and feathers. She produced a peculiar object from her collection. ’What is that? Is it some kind of jewelry? I should ask her.’
”What’s that?” he asked his true curiosity easily shining through his words. His silver eyes lifted to his orange eyes as he awaited her response.

Ellie looked back when she heard him thump his head, and snickered slightly and then she tilted her head at his question and simply said "Something you put in your ear, and it dangles. Earhook maybe?" she spoke lightly, and it wasn't in any harsh tone for once and she looked back to it and turned around. "Hold out your paw, and take it." she ordered as she held it in the air between them. "No matter if I growl at you while doing it or not, you're going to poke it through my ear. and no matter how much I do growl, or get mad you keep going until it's in. Am I clear?"

((I’m back, sorry for the silence. It’s been a busy week.))
Mykko:
’Earhook? Earhook… Why would anyone want something hanging from their ear?’ Mykko held out his paw as he thought in response to the she-wolf’s demand. He looked down at the object in his multi-color paw. The bending hook bit cold against his pawpads while the feather tickled his fur. The gradient of the blue and black of the feather blended perfectly through the exactness of nature. Mykko looked up from his observation of the earhook as the female’s next words reached his ears. His wide silver eyes met her sunstones that pierced into his shocked gaze. ’Poke it through her ear? How can I knowingly cause harm to someone who’s not attacking me or showing signs of aggression beyond annoyance, impatience, and irritation? Well, there’s still a possibility that this she-wolf’s going to kill me. Maybe she just needs me to poke her with this earhook then she’ll attack me… Here I am in her den where I will have trouble escaping from. Great move, Mykko, yeah you really thought this one through… I shouldn’t be jumping to conclusions. She might still be friendly while I’m running off on crazy explanations. Just clarify what I’m supposed to do and maybe try to wiggle my way out of hurt her.’
”Poke through your ear?” Mykko repeated glancing down at the sharp hook glinting in his paw and grimacing as his imagined it puncturing skin. He met her commanding eyes again and continuing speaking, ”I don’t… don’t think I can, uh...” Swallowing his words nervously, Mykko faltered under the female’s intent glare.
