Dhiren:
The mystifying white-furred male laughed as he bounded through the Barrens, his mismatched eyes darting about eagerly at the snow that had fallen during the winter season that had started a few weeks ago. "Isn't this great Vena? It's like we're walking on clouds!" the average-sized male cheered, bounding about eagerly on the white-covered ground and sniffing about, snorting when he inhaled snow. "A..A..ACHOO!" he sneezed, grinning bashfully at his traveling companion that merely stared at him, a blank expression gracing her tiger-like face. "That's what I like about you Vena, always one to be.. Joyful," the male teased his friend lightly, sniggering when all she did was grunt and huff, her warm breath forming a little fog cloud. "Ooh! Baby cloud!" Ren cheered, falling over and laughing hysterically before standing up and shaking all the snow from his white and pale-gold fur, his rosy-pink nose then going to sniff the air in hopes of catching any scents of prey for him and his companion to eat while they strolled through this new land. "Smell anything?" he asked seriously, looking over at the tiger-resembling female and huffing softly in disappointment when the female only shook her head 'no.' Now a little down and bummed, Dhiren got behind the female and took hold of her tail between his teeth, hoping that they met someone that could help them out before they got too hungry and resulted in eating one another. "Hey Vena.. If we had to, who would be eaten first..?"
Venatores:
The tiger-like female sighed softly as she followed behind her traveling companion, watching as he played around in the snow like a clueless and clumsy young pup. She huffed softly at his excitement about one of the land's precipitation choices, rolling her two-toned eyes when he snorted some of the frozen liquid and sneezed. All the she-wolf did was stare at him, a blank expression on her face before she turned her attention to the ground, pawing at the snow covered grounds in hopes of finding a burrow for some type of small prey that would make a decent snack. Venatores lifted her head to look over at Dhiren when he teased her about being joyful, grunting with a huff and tuning her head to see if she could see any other wolves walking about besides them, hoping that theyd have the energy and patience to keep up with Ren. Distracted from her thoughts by the cheering of a baby cloud, Vena looking over at him as he fell back in the snow in hysterical laughter, wondering what she ever did to end up finding this.. thing she called er friend. When asked if she smelled anything, Ren having lifted his nose to the sky, the female did the same and merely shook her head, her marbled-patterned nose currently picking up no scents of any wolves or food. The now-glum duo then continued to trudge on through, Ren holding onto her tail like a pup would sometimes do his mother in an attempt not to get left behind, the female rather taken aback by this but pushing what it could mean out of her mind as she led them on further into the Barrens. "You," she answered softly as a joke in her elegant, enchanting voice when asked who'd they eat first if they had to chuckling softly when that seemed to bring a smile to her traveling companion as they walked, hoping to find someone.. Anyone...

Caesar was blind. Not literally, but with the white-out blizzard he was in, he might as well be. Despite the snow fall coming it at an alarming rate, it was quite silent. Which was very unsettling for the big brute of a wolf. Caesar was undeniably large with a heavily packed muscles and a vicious scar across his throat and chest. He looked pretty intimidating, yet he was quite friendly. He fought of course, he was a male and it was in his blood to fight. However he wasn't included fed to start fights for no reason. No, he is quite simple in speech and modest in dealings with wolves. Within the white and soundless storm he felt the unnerving tranquility fracture. The tension broken by the voices of wolves. Caesar wondered whether he should go in search of their company or leave them be. But seeing as he was unquenchably lonely, he pressed on towards their voices. The brownish silver male trekked on, "Hello." he called into the whiteness when he thought he was close enough.

Dhiren:
The young male and his traveling companion were continuing their walk, through the Barrens with Ren doing most of the talking and Vena just listening and grunting. As usual. "You bore me sometimes Vena.." the white and gold-furred wolf whined softly in a complaint, rolling his eyes when he only got a snort in reply. Walking in silence for a bit, Dhiren couldn't help but get a little cocky and nudge up against the tougher female, knocking her of her straight path and into the brush a bit. "Hahaha! Now you amuse me again!" he chirped, watching as the she-wolf shook the snow from her pelt and trudged on through the snow, Ren meanwhile getting distracted as more snow began to fall, covering their tracks and making everything and anything white hard to see.. Like his own legs! "Vena! I can't see my legs!" he wailed, moving around and relaxing when he'd been able to see them again, rather liking his legs as they were his only form of transportation through any kind of weather.. Upon hearing an unfamiliar voice call out a greeting, Ren bounded in excitement and called back "Hello stranger!" before bounding through the snow in the direction he believed the voice has come from, eager to make a new friend and find someone for Vena, as she needed a little cheering up of some kind...
Venatores:
The young she-wolf looked about curiously as she walked, tuned out on the chatterbox prancing along beside her as she tried to search for obvious places that prey would be hiding, finding nothing and snorting at the time she heard Ren whine and complain about her boring him sometimes. It was nothing but silence for a few heartbeats while they walked, and Venatores wasn't gonna lie, she rather liked it. It was great to hear herself think for once, and she enjoyed the quietness, but she sort of missed the sound.. None to worry though, as Ren soon nudged her and veered her off her path before breaking off into laughter and chirping that she amused him again, the young female nodding, slmewhat glad to hear this. Shaking the snow from her pelt, Vena continued to trudge o through the snow, blinking and squinting as more snow began to fall, obscuring her vision some as they traveled, Ren falling behind to try and 'find' his supposedly lost legs. After a moment, she heard footsteps beside her and looked over, sighing softly to see that it was Dhiren. Venatores's eyes widened when Ren began to bound off in search of the voice they'd just heard, yipping as she followed after him, determined not to lose her best friend while they searched for this new fellow...

Stormstar: The first winter. A female limped in the snow. She had a wide scar over her cheek, and one of her legs was malformed or something. She looked like she was half dead, her dark blue eyes the only part of her that stood out on her face. Her fur was once a dark mix of light silver and black, with a elegant five point black star. She had been a sight to behold. Before. Her name was... What was her name? Who was she? Why did she have this limp? Why did one name keep coming up, one she knew was not her own. Halona. She kept pushing on, her mind in a lull. She had forgotten in the year she had spent. She thought of it as the After. It was after a fight, and she had won at the cost of her leg, and her sanity maybe. Then her leg flared hot as fire, and she yelped. Pain! Not again! She stopped, trying to bury the physical pain. The mental pain, she was still trying to did a hole deep enough. She wandered for about half an hour longer until she came across three wolves. One silver-brown, one Tiger-like, and one white. White... White Wolves. Powers. Halona. Electricity. Siren. Taboo. A few scattered memories came rushing into her head. She came forward, crouching. Her reflexes where still working, she had never lost them. She was almost obvious, or would have been. Her fur was caked in dirty snow. She looked like a dirty patch of snow. A growling patch of snow. A patch with blue eyes. A patch with three glowing red slashes over where a wolf's chest would have been. A she-wolf with no name, no memories, and a questionable amount of sanity left.
Her eyes fixed on the white wolf again. A memory flashed before her eyes. A white wolf with red paws coming at her. Fjord, his name had been Fjord. He had hurt her father. She had hurt him back. Was this wolf Fjord? She cowered into the snow further. If this was Fjord, she could not best him a second time. Ratinol thought came back to her in a trickle. Memories. A name. A identity. Stormstar. She was still far far from actually being fully sane, but she could remember her name. She remembered a firey rage. A fire that was nothing but ash and cinders. She watched the tiger then, wondering if more memories, things she needed, would come back. Nothing sparked, she had never seen a wolf like this. She had seen one with spots.. Another memory. She held on it it as best she could, she needed to remember! A spotted wolf, Treble. Her sister, she had a sister! Halona! She knew who Halona was! She stood up from her crouch, forgetting about the other wolves. She regretted it and questioned her sanity. Storm took that as a good sign. She knew she may be crazy.

Caesar sighed in relief as his call was answered. He wasn't alone in the wilderness surrounded by ice and silence. With a light laugh. He too bounded forward, closer to the sound. He lifted his legs high, in order to escape the grip of the ever increasing blanket of snow. He peered into the whiteout until he was able to make out an outline and two bright eyes. "Ah, hello there. I was er....just getting a bit lonely..." In truth he was very very lonely, not mention a bit anxious because of the low visibility. Nevertheless he had company. Looking into the white, he realized that there was more than one wolf. A shewolf no less. She was a radiant orange-gold color with a dizzying pattern of graceful stripes crisscrossing her pelt. "I suppose I should introduce myself, I'm Caesar." He spoke, greeting the two as they arrived respectively. He lifted an ashy brown paw out of the snow and onto his chest, bowing his head low. "Loner extraordinaire." He chuckled at his addition before righting himself. It had been long awhile since he had seen another friendly wolf. In truth he had only just arrived within the valleys borders. And apparently winter was not the best season for travel. With a dry chuckle he motioned for the other two to introduce themselves if it be their will. He knew that being alone too long could endanger ones mental health, and Caesar was eager for some friendly conversation. Although with the cold temperatures, perhaps it would be better to find a den...

Dhiren:
The young he-wolf came to an unsteady stop in front of the strange wolf, stumbling over his paws some while his mismatched eyes egerly looked over the other male's ashy-brown pelt curiously. It had been a while since he'd seen anyone, other than Vena, that was friendly. Or at least seemed friendly. Ren snorted some when the new figure gave a small greeting before saying that he was just a bit lonely, the white and pale-pink furred male understanding completely how the new guy felt. Dhiren blinked in confusion when the somewhat older male pressed a paw to his chest and bowed his head very low in an introduction after Vena came prancing up to check things out. "Caesar, eh? Loner extraordinaire? Sounds fancy," Ren chirped teasingly to the newer male, yipping when Vena shot him a glare and nudged him some before nodding, her weird way of sign language to tell him to be nice and introduce himself. "The name's Dhiren, but youre free to call me Ren," he introduced with a smile, opening his muzzle to introduce his companion but going quiet when he got a mouthful of fur and snow, Venatores having silenced him and actually deciding to introduce herself to this stranger they've never met until now...
Venatores:
The golden-brown female followed after her traveling companion, slowing down as she neared the two male wolves that appeared to be talking. She walked up quietly, shaking snow from her paws with every hesitant step she took until she stood beside her friend, looking at him before glancing at the new male now known as Caesar. The loner extraordinaire. Venatores shot her companion a glare when he went into making a joke out of the he-wolf's name, nudging him and nodding towards the new figure as to silently tell the rowdy pup-like male to introduce himself and be nice. After he introduced himself, and began to introduce her, Vena huffed and turned around to give Ren a mouthful of fur and snow- which quickly shut him up. Removing her tail from his mouth, the she-wolf sat down on her haunches in the cold snow and eyed Caesar a moment before sighing softly. "The name's Venatores, Vena if you'd like," she murmured softly, giving a small half-smile before it vanished and she shelled back up. "I'll go find somewhere to sleep.." Standing up, Venatores turned away from the two males and began to look for a large enough space for them all to share as a shelter and get out of the blinding snow...

Stormstar:[/i]
Stormstar stalked a bit closer, her blue eyes shining. Once she got within a few feet of the wolves, she pounced on one without thinking. She missed however and landed with a loud plop in the snow. It took her a few minutes to get her head out of the snow, but once she did most of the snow caking her fur had been shaken off by her struggle and her head was the only part covered in snow. Storm growled as she found herself a bit less off target then she would have liked. Shaking herself free of snow, she attempted another pounce. This missed as well, and this time landed in a snowdrift with only her tail sticking out. It took her much longer to get herself out of that, and when she did she had lost even more energy then she had over the course of the week. She walked forwards this time, a soft growl in her throat. She was defeated in her mind. Defeated by two failed attacks. She stopped, suddenly. She became lost in her thoughts and wondered what it would accomplish if she gave herself up. She would never see her sister again. That was for certain. She just stood there for a few minutes before a deeper growl started, and she said something for the first time in a year. "You won't take me alive." Then she shook her head as the silver wolf became Fjord. Her confusion increased, and she tried to calm herself down a bit. Her growl didn't stop, just it was a bit softer. Her silver tipped ears pushed back against her skull, she began wondered if this was the end of her sanity, because she had a feeling she should have planned this better. She was also chest deep in snow at the moment. SHe started growling to herself. To quietly for the others to hear. She stumbled forward ever so slightly, and lifted her bad leg out of habit. Mangled and useless, there was no way for her to get herself out of this now.

Caesar dipped his head as the two introduced themselves. One of his life rules was to always be respectful. And so he tried to be even as another visitor clumsily hurled themselves at him. The grey and black shewolf missed, landing in the snow before recovering and pouncing again, all the while growling. Caesar didn't know what to make of the shewolf or her slathering words. He didn't even know her and he was pretty positive she didn't even know him. Why did she attack him and then state that she would flee? Had he done something wrong? Why was she attacking when she obviously didn't want to be anywhere near them? With a confused cock of his pale brown head he answered her. "Okay?......" Turning to the vibrantly striped Venatores he nodded at her to lead on, falling into place besides the white male. He figured that Vena at least did not want to deal with such a confrontation. But perhaps he was wrong. And surely Ren was curious. Vena strangely reminded him of his deceased sister. They both seemed sly and calm, but he could already tell they were extremely different underneath. Eyeing the offensive shewolf he spotted a power mark. She had a power, which he shouldn't be surprised about; for her fur was crackling with electricity.

(Sorry for the hold-up!!! ;n; Life hasn't been too kind for a while now..)
Dhiren:
The he-wolf was obviously curious about this new she-wolf who just.. Came out of nowhere, but Vena had given silent orders for him and Caesar to come along, before the snow got worse, no doubt. While the female had attacked, or at least tried to attack, Caesar, Dhiren figured he could do a little snooping and see if the two knew one another. If they did, than Venatores wouldn't be too happy about traveling with a serious troublemaker. One goofball was enough! "Sooo.. Did you know her? Was she a past friend? Enemy? Frenemy?" Ren asked, bouncing around the ash-brown wolf and kicking snow up everywhere. The blizzard seemed to have died down some, which was good, because he had fallen behind Vena some but was still able to see her tiger-pelt. "Vena! Did you see that she-wolf back there? Her fur looked.. Electric!!" Dhiren called to his friend, but she didn't even turn her head to look at him and just flicked her ears. "I agree. She was a bit.. Shocking though, yes?" Ren snorted, laughter soon racking through him as he stopped in his tracks and laughed, the he-wolf having found his little pun hilarious and needing to give it the laugh it deserved before continuing on behind Vena and beside Casear.
Venatores:
Vena had no time for games. She had too much to do, too much responsibility.. The she-wolf had to find shelter for Dhiren, Caesar, herself, and the new female if she, too, stuck around. While Vena hoped that the new wolf would just go on her way, she still wanted to be prepared, and it was a wee bit difficult finding shelter in a lightening-up blizzard when your travel partner was being a dunce and providing zero help while making terrible jokes that didn't even make her grunt. Or huff! He was just being.. Childish! Sniffing around, the silent she-wolf managed to find a hollow space big enough for three wolves of average-size inside the trunk of an old tree. If dug into some, it'd be able to squeeze in four wolves, but Vena didn't need that. A space big enough for three was more than enough for Ren, Caesar, and the electric female. "There.." she grunted softly, turning and heading off in the direction of the hollowed tree, her nose sniffing for any signs of danger while her eyes remained glued on the empty shelter for her new friends.

Stormstar: Storm was now questioning her sanity a great deal. I mean, come on! How stupid am I? I'm crazy, I shouldn't have come near here. I was better off not knowing. Her blue eyes watched nervously. That silver wolf was huge, with a nasty scar across his neck. She didn't want to get into a fight with a busted leg with the wolf who survived that. Or the wolf that had given him that. She would be terrified to see the thing that gave him that, actually. Granted, she never wanted to meet the thing that had mangled her leg. So, she decided not to ask about what had given the brownish-silver male that scar. She didn't want to know it beyond 'I never want to meet it'. So she revised to stay put and wait. She was too busy scolding and beating herself up to do much else. This was stupid, how had she even thought this was a possibility? Now she was obligated to stay and do something, or at least she thought so.
When she saw the others moving to a tree, Storm followed. Her trudge was slow, almost snailish. It infuriated her, but any attempts to help her would be warded off by a cold stare and more static fur. She was humiliated enough, help would just make her seem even weaker. That would be the last thing she needed, thanks. So, she trudged slowly to the tree. Once there, she found the furthest corner and curled into a ball. Her bad leg, having little mobility in the wrist, was left sticking out.
Storm was far from sleep. She was sleepy, sure, but whenever she closed her eyes she was startled awake by... She didn't even know what. The thing that woke her up was always lost to her by the time her eyes opened. It was more then enough to startle her into static every few minuets. The one time she managed to drift past 'resting my eyes' into 'A bump will startle me into the real world' she had a actual nightmare. It was barely half an hour before her head shot up, her right leg out in front of her instead of curled under her. She remembered how it made her feel when she woke up, electricity crackling between her claws and zapping between her teeth like bolts of miniature lightning. She had been so numb to the pain, the only emotion in her body was rage and a fear of dying. She knew there should be pain, other emotions. These were the only things that made it through the adrenaline induced haze that blocked the pain, however temporarily. Her breaths were ragged, puffing in the cold air. Storm curled back up again, her eyes still heavy, but she wasn't sleeping any time soon. She couldn't sleep, not after that.
And so she stopped waking up as a static puffball, because no longer was she waking from sleep. She was silent as she wished for sleep, staring at anything but the other wolves with her. If she did, she was worried that she would be tempted to speak, and she didn't trust herself not to mess up and say something that would get her thrown back into the storm. She wouldn't risk it. It wasn't worth freezing to death to have a conversation.

Caesar flashed a piteous smile at the silver and black shewolf, before ducking his head and following behind Dhiren. The shewolf looked ashamed, afraid, confused...It was as if she was reliving traumatic experiences in her head, her eyes not quite registering what was real and what was not. The speckled male snuck a peek behind his shoulder to see her following them to the hollow tree. Shaking his head, he trotted a little faster, she obviously didn't want to be alone, but also didn't want to receive acknowledgement. And so, mercifully, Caesar left her lonesome. Ren asked him if he knew her, if they were friends, or perhaps enemies before now. "No...i've never seen this shewolf before now." He answered solemnly, his mind floating elsewhere. He rolled his shoulders, cracking his neck once, hardly audible over the hissing winds. Vena led the way to the hollow tree, and Caesar stood beside it. He would allow them first pick, he was planning to lay across the opening, blocking cold winds, acting as a barrier to the elements. It was the least he could do. After all they had welcomed him into their small group.
The strange shewolf slid into the large hollow, choosing the most obscure, secluded corner of the space, and turned away from them, hiding her face. Caesar couldn't help but notice her wounded leg, stuck awkwardly out from her fluffy body. He didn't see her as too much of a problem, he could protect his new companions if need be. But she didn't seem likely to hurt them. Guiltily however, he hoped Ren and Venatores would steer clear of her electric fur.
