       Lanora padded through the forest,the Forest of Love.Wolves came here to find possible soul-mates,as did Lanora.She searched for a good place for a while,finally stumbling upon a clearing.The trees were tall around the small clear space,and the forest floor was covered in pink leaves.Lanora nosed the ground,finding no scents of wolves.Lanora took a few more steps forward,plopped down on the ground,and threw her head back.She let out the howl of a sweet song,hoping to attract a male.Her melodic voice rang out throughout the forest.Lanora ended her howl softly.

"I just,I wish someone would come."Lanora sighed.She had come here at least once a week for the past 2 seasons.

Fox:
Fox sighed, letting himself limp. It took a lot of effort not to limp, and it tired him out more then just limping would. The male was handsome enough, with white fur and two-colored eyes. He was sizable as well. He sighed, sitting down and letting the wind blow his fur. His curly tail curled over his paws. A howl reached his ears, and Fox perked his ears. He got to his paws and walked forawrds, following the way the howl had come from. He stopped dead, seeing a lovely female. Fox cocked his head, hovering at the edge of the clearing. The white furred male wondered who she may be, but decided to watch for now. See if she noticed him, and what she did. He softly began his own song, a soft howl echoed through the air. He ended his song, and looked back at the female. Waiting.

Lanora

Lanora heard a soft song of a howl.She raised her head again and sang with the wolf,holding her howl til the end.They both ended and Lanora looked over.A fox,wait no,a wolf sat there,watching Lanora.Lanora rose to her feet and padded over to the strange wolf.

"Hello,my name is Lanora.Who might you be?"Lanora asked.She sat down in front of the male,inhaling deeply.Lanora scented his pain.

"Are you okay?You smell like your hurt.Do you need help?"Lanora asked hurriedly.She barely knew this wolf,he could very well be someone with bad intention,but Lanora was too kind to care.

Fox:
Fox cocked his head, blue-gold eyes with a strange glittery quality to them. "My name is Fox. You have a vary pretty voice Lanora." He said, curled tail swishing from one side to the other. He cocked his head when she inquired about his health. "I'm fine, I don't know why you ask.." He quickly put his leg down, masking that is was underdeveloped and slightly shorter then his other legs. He noted her green eyes an brown fur. She was different from him, with her green and black marking contrasting his gray and red. The red slash, like a mask, stood out against the gray and darker white. "I like your fur..." he said sheepishly. His curled tail swished, almost wagging.

Lanora

Lanora watched the fox looking wolf intently,ears forward.Her emerald green eyes shone with curiosity.He finally spoke,saying his name was Fox.'How befitting'Lanora thought.She cocked her head to the side as Fox continued.

"Fox.I like it."Lanora said.She blushed for a moment,but her fur covered it up.

"Why thank you,your voice is rather pretty too."Lanora said after being complimented.She watched his curled tail swish back and forth.Fox seemed content.Then he said he was fine.She noticed Fox moved a leg down.It was slightly disfigured.Lanora bent her head down and nosed Fox's paw.

"That doesn't look fine.What happened to it?"Lanora asked.
