Eclispe:
Eclipse had been depressed for weeks, his blue-gold eyes not even shining. His fur was messy and dirty, his tail tangled with a stick. The once proud and handsome male was reduced to a skinny, ragged two-toned male with seemingly brownish fur. A twig snap, a short yelp, and he was on the ground with something looming over him. A few swipes, several slaps, and a small crack, and whatever had knocked him down was gone. Eclipse struggled to his paws, chest throbbing and bruises forming under his staining red fur. He just kept walking, not even noticing the pain. He was lost in his mind, and sadness. She had told him to go away, but he had listened. He should have stayed, should have at least stayed in the area. But NO, he had left the grasslands all together, and was in the forests. He should go back, in case she was waiting and didn't know how to find him. He turned around, and nearly fell. The simple act of turning around had aggravated his injuries and the effort had taken a toll on his tired body. Still, he walked on, heading the way he came, unsure of what he would find or if he might make it.
He had been an idiot, but what if Fier didn't love him? Was she with another male right now, barely remembering him? Tears leaked from his eyes, and he stopped. He collapsed in a sobbing heap, tears tracing down his fur and leaving the true color of his fur in their wake. Vines grew over him, then moss. The few flowers around him wilted like they were in bad soil, and he eventually ran out of tears. He still just lay there, his thought muddled and faint. She hadn't loved him. It would have been enough just to be with her every day, it would have been enough just to be near her, but Nooo, he had to ask. He had to be the stupid idiot he was! He had no hope of ever getting her back, another male would find her and take her for his own. She would never even miss him, and why should she? He was a idiotic, ugly, clumsy male who didn't deserve someone so pretty, so kind, so sweet. She was long gone out of his reach, he had no chance. Still, he had to see her one last time. Just... Just to make sure. To say goodbye before.. What? He wasn't sure, but, to end this sorrow he had to say goodbye to her. So, he got up, the moss and vines tearing up as he started walking again."If I say goodbye, I won't feel this sadness anymore. I just have to tell her goodbye and it will all be done."[/i]
