Nyx;
Nyx's shadow creature had the intended effectâdistracting and irritating the tussling animals—so she loped easily in one more circle before coming to a stop. She eyed Sigyn, who was viewing her large shadow creature with something like awe. If the evil female before her could appreciate her handiwork, perhaps she wasn't so bad. Bending so many shadows at once wasn't exactly easy, after all. Nyx's orange tattoo was burning more often than not, but rarely did it take so much of her concentration and mental will. Astral seemed confused by her beast as well. It had done it's job, and Fenrir seemed done flaunting his male size and power by then. The shadow beast reared and stretched to an impossible size, before shrinking and mutating into a serpant-like darkness. It slithered to Nyx's side and shrunk in size as the wolves' shadows bled out of it. Eventually it was only Nyx's own shadow that remained slithering around her in an unbroken circle.
Astral whined that she should never have come, and Nyx felt an easy smile come ot her maw. "Coming to The Barrens alone..." She paused, knowing full well that she had done the same thing. Her deep voice echoed strangely around the empty territory. "When one isn't prepared for any manner of company..." She shook her head slowly, signalling that such an idea was folly. At least for a wolf such as Astral. "A bad temper does not make an evil wolf." Her final words were a whisper. Fenrir asked if he could kill her, then, and Nyx's head swivelled on her neck. Now that was interesting. She stood, and her tattoo died back to black as she focused completely on what happened next. She licked her teeth visibly, and let out a laugh that was more cough-like than anything.
Sigyn said that Astral's fate was in her own hands, and whether or not she had learned a lesson. Could any wolf learn a lesson when they considered themself as a certain allignment, but couldn't keep up with others her own level? Nyx's smiled widened, and her bony shoulders rolled once more as she got up and started circling again.
"We wouldn't want you to go forgetting and getting into more trouble..." The words fairly dripped out, and suddenly Nyx was pantingâthirsting for whatever was about to come.

"As if I haven't! I expected something like this, but I wasn't planning on myself being brought into this!" She said, when suddenly a voice rang out in her head. 'Shinu....' She slammed her eyes shut to try to block out the noise. It rasped again in her head, 'Sorera o korosu!' "I've made a horrendous mistake on coming here!" Astral nearly yelled, but she didn't want to provoke another vicious attack, or get killed. "I will never forget! Even if you don't believe me!" Her eyes opened, but she gazed at the sky, ignoring the rain hitting her eyes.

Bane:
Bloodred paws padded steadily forward, and sharp claws dug into the loose dusty topsoil of the barrens. A lone boulder or scrawny bush was passed now and then by the dark gray and black he wolf. The sky overhead was a hazy blue-gray that the sun glowed through past thin whisky clouds, and the temperature wasn't appropriate to complain about either. All seemed normal about the dark wolf prowling across the open landscape, but for Bane it wasn't his normal ways. The shadow master preferred night time wanderings and thick heavily foliaged forests instead of wide open plains and mid day strolls, he preferred darkness to light. But... despite his discontent for his circumstance, he did prefer being alone. However, at this certain moment he was following another wolf's scent, a she-wolf to be exact... named Nyx.
With each langth trotted, the female's dingy, yet alluring odor became stronger, and Bane narrowed his eyes as he mentally pulled his shadow over himself like a blanket of fog. Thin tendrils of darkness whispered over his pelt and shifted with the movement of his steps, flicking behind him like as flames licking the wind. The red power mark faintly glowed on his shoulder through the thin layer of shadow that covered his entire being except for his daunting golden orbs.
Bane picked up his pace that had been slowing, he could sense his position was nearing hers, and he stretched each bound further over the flat crusty ground. He was seeking out Nyx for the purpose of just knowing what she was up to, if she was hunting, then he would assist her, but never would he admit to himself what he was actually pursuing her for.
Up ahead a mass of dark clouds had accumulated in the sky, but it only covered a small area of land - and was that rain? Bane neared the place and saw that it indeed was a minuture rain storm in the middle of the barrens, and that he had followed Nyx's scent trail right to it. A few other unfamiliar scents could also be smelt, but the rain made them hazy and hard to identify, let along tell them apart. Bane had no idea what to expect as he stepped under the pelting droplets and imidiatly felt the rain soak into his fur. With wiry eyes, the dark shadow covered male took in the scene and silently strutted toward it. Tension was in his step, but his toned legs moved in flawless motions as he approached with easy caution. His ears lay back but flicked forward here and there taking in the sounds, and his sharp vision captured the sights as he analyzed what was happening. There were too other females besides Nyx, one was a dark red with white markings, standing by herself, and the other, a dark starry pelted smaller one that was pinned down by a brutish male glaring down at her. This othe male was a lighter green color with black markings, and his size was tremendous. Bane was the average sized male wolf, with broader shoulders, but even with the layer of shadows continuously swirling over his form, he still seemed slightly lesser in size.
Words had been spoken by the group of wolves as Bane approached, but he had come just too late to completely comprehend the statements made. However, he did catch the word "kill" from a deep rumbling voice, and his eyes dilated and brow wrinkled. He decided on his entrance.
"Well well well, what do we have here?" Bane rasped in a steady tone that held no mockery or sarcasm, but a slight hint of curiosity. With one step closer, Bane pulled any surrounding shadows that could still be manipulated in the cloudy area, and formed them over the ground in a pool of mist. The darkness began to whisper over the surface of the ground like smoke from a fog machine, crawling and swirling around the bushes and paws of the five wolves. Bane glanced over at Nyx before peering intently at the three strangers, specifically the other male that was crushing the small she-wolf. One of the three where obviously creating the rain cloud, Bane had figured that much out. He kept his expression solemn, sensing the already thick atmosphere of tension that he had added to.

There were a few moments of silence after Astral’s last “even if you don’t believe me.” It was starting to get boring, Astral was being too easy, submitting easily. Perhaps she knew the odds, one wolf against two, maybe even three. She glanced over at Nyx who looked amused, not moving to rescue Astral. She smirked, pleased. Eyes moved back to the black wolf, speckled – but her coat was getting wet, as was hers. Sigyn opened her mouth to speak, but it was Fenrir’s voice that rose with a wild look in his amethyst gaze.
“I don’t.”
Sigyn’s eyes widened slightly as Fenrir was once more upon the femme. Her chest shuddered with excitement, moving in a little to make sure Astral couldn’t slip out from her brother’s grasp. She wondered idly if she would let her live, or if she would die. Sigyn felt death was always was the most boring of their encounters, ended the fun too quickly. She watched carefully with pale green eyes, waiting for any moment she would have to call him off.
Fenrir pounced quickly, this time not being so light as he pinned her to the ground. “I’ll help you to never forget.” He whispered close to her ear, a thunderous growl following. It was interrupted though, by an amused voice. His head was still lowered over the female, his frame raising and falling with the adrenalin that was swirling in her veins. With his head still done, eyes glanced up to catch glance of the dark colored wolf. His confidence did not waver, even if the two decided to gang up and protect this… Astral… He had trained Sigyn enough to keep them distracted while he finished Astral off. He would finish what he began. Eyes shifted momentarily to his sister who had glanced at him in the same moment.
Sigyn’s eyes snapped to the male as he came into view. By this time she was used to shadow not obeying her anymore. It seemed to leap away and return, just to leap away again. Her eyes narrowed at his words, she moved her body between the male and Fenrir.
“Only a little fun.” She crooned, her tail swaying, her head lowering – bracing herself. She wasn’t sure what his intentions were, but she had a feeling it wasn’t to stop them, not necessarily. Pale green eyes glanced down at the rippling ground with amusement. There was a certain beauty to shadows being manipulated. With the rain falling and shadows swimming… it was too perfect.
“Teaching a lesson actually…making sure she never forgets.” Her voice was light and airy, as if there was nothing wrong with the going ons.
There was a grunt in the background, but she didn’t take her eyes off the male that had appeared. Two shadow benders, how interesting…
“No, you won’t.” He said, answering Sigyn's statement, but talking to Astral. He grabbed her by her shoulder and pulled her out from under him. He dropped her roughly, but was never an inch away, grabbing her by the top of her neck, picking her up and tossing her away from Sigyn. This would not be one of Sigyn’s toys, it was Fenrir’s turn to have some fun. He did not realize how distracted she was anyways.
As soon as he tossed her he was on her again, using his paws and teeth, if she tried to bite him, he bit back – his teeth more than grazing her. He tasted blood on his mouth, heart beating quicker. There was only one sensible thought that held him back from snapping her neck between his teeth. It was that she would not be able to remember if she were dead. The thought made him groan outwardly, stepping back from over her. It wasn’t enough, not yet. With one last movement he large paw swiped out and hit her upside the head, over her eye. Gashes formed where his claws had connected.
He stepped away, he had to physically put himself away from her, so he would not kill her.
“What do you think, think she’ll remember her lesson?” His low voice rumbled, eyes forcing away from Astral and the blood… It called him, it would be so easy to finish her off.
Sigyn was now looking at Fenrir, expressionless. He never ceased to amaze her – but it wasn’t often. It reminded her of the day that their rogue pack had attacked them, killing her young pups. He had been the only one there defending her – still it had not been enough. Blinking away the memory, a smirk enveloped her maw, disguising anything else that may have flickered across her features. OOC// Astral (the player, not wolf) approved the gash on the face. Astral – you can choose what else actually hits her xD <3

Nyx;
Astral was shouting about something—too loud, too assuming. Like they were going to let her off if she asked them to. Nyx fought not to roll her smouldering eyes. Perhaps if Fenrir killed her it would at least make her interesting. Or better yet, maybe she needed to rethink how she alligned herself. If she became a Neutrally-alligned wolf, she could at least be a darker version of what those weaklings were used to. The alternative was being a weaker version of what Evil wolves were used to, and that was dangerous.
Nyx's shadow leaped away from her. It felt like a snap in her mind, and it drew an un-wolfish, reptilian hiss from her throat. Instantly she forgot about Astral. The mental anguish of having her own shadow ripped from her was too much. Without even turning her head or her eyes, her tattoo burned more brightly than it had yet, and she fairly tore her shadow out of Bane's grasp. She exercised so much strength and anger in that single gesture that not only did she take back her own, she also snapped a good many of the shadows Bane had taken with it. As the shadows changed conciousnesses, deep black waves emanated from the torn places. Nyx's shadow elasticked back to her as if it was a magnet, and only then did the instant-headache calm in her mind. She turned, her reclaimed shadow spiking out along her spine and her eyes wild with rage. Only when she saw and recognized Bane did her shadow's spikes unsharpen and meld back into a moving wave over her body. She eyed him with venom, but did not attack. "Bane," She said in her gruff voice. She gave him a rare nod.
By then, she realized that Fenrir was on top of Astral again. She smirked and got up, stalking away from Bane and back to the commotion. Her shoulders rolled under her skin, and her eyes burned anew. It was rare, for Nyx to feel anything about another living entity, but as she watched the massive form of Fenrir threaten and grapple with the weaker form of the female, a wild emotion rolled within her chest. Sheer animal desire. He displayed such anger, such hostility, that it brought forth in Nyx something dark. She had experienced the desire a handful of times before, and so it was not frightening—if anything, it made her bloodlust boil all the hotter. She circled around on Astral's side as Sigyn cut her off on the other, and felt her breath catch in her chest as Fenrir slashed his claw down the female's eye. Nyx snarled in delight. She felt a little disappointed that he had not killed her, but a maiming was good enough.
"Leave," Nyx said, the words viberating out of her, dripping with anger. It was an anger fed by those around her. "Go from here." Or stay. They would kill her if she stayed. Nyx almost hoped she would.

Astral had no time to think when she had been thrown about like some piece of food from a pup. But when she actually felt like the torment was over, she held her eyes shut. Then, searing pain hit her left eye, making her yelp and open her eye. That same voice whispered in Astral's head, 'Shinu...' Her saved eye brimmed with fear and shock, but she managed to breath, but raggedly. "I'll never return, not without company or I won't came back at all." Her eyes caught another stranger male, and she winced. She moved her head to one side, letting the blood drip off.

Bane:
Bane had only glanced at Nyx before glaring at the other three strangers, and propelling a wave of misty shadows towards them, but his mental focus was suddenly interrupted. A sharp pain stabbed at the temples of his head and he could feel the control of some of the shadows being snatched from his mental hold. Fury flashed in his eyes and Bane grabbed back the darkness despite escalating the ache in his head. Out of rage and defense he did such action, and the shadows danced in confused swirls over the ground, but once Bane realized that it was Nyx who was the other force he slowly released the control of part of the rippling shadows, and with it, the pain subsided. He hoped she didn't read that in a way that he was being submissive, but rather that he was recognizing her power as equal and not wanting to fight for strength, especially at this moment. Bane respected Nyx's power and her use with it, and he trusted her with not using it to harm him. Even if she did wish to attack him in some way or form, the gray male felt she would have already done so.
The shadows continued to crawl around, swirling and forming, being manipulated by two different manipulators. "Only a little fun." The blood red female said ominously, her words made Bane's brow lift as if saying "Oh really?" He caught the evilness in her sharp sea green eyes and noticed her skepticism towards him. A solemn gaze of inspection was all she got in return before he moved his focus to the large green and black male that was showing his fangs to a significantly small she-wolf that looked even smaller under his massive paws. Her pelt was black with vibrant markings that almost seemed to glow, and fear was written all over her face. Bane had thought he even heard her mumble something, but he didn't need to know what, because he wasn't going to do anything about her situation anyways. However, he did wonder how she had gotten into this situation, whether she had angered these strangers in some way, or they were simply attacking her because she was small, and they abviously seemed the evil type. If it came to it, her death would make Bane want to know the "why" for the attack, if she was killed, then what for.
"Entertain me." Bane hummed as he set his rump down with a plop not far from Nyx. He wrapped his tail around one of his paws in a very relaxed manner, having the other shadow master in this state of affairs gave Bane more confidence in acting calm and portraying a casual demeanor. The game of power is primarily played in just how one acts towards another, whether the other holds more power or less, or even if they are unknown (such as Bane's situation).
'A lesson?' With what the red pelted femme had added, Bane was I little bet closer to trying to figure out the reason of the small she-wolf's abuse. 'What lesson are they trying to teach her?' Why would he even care about the harm she was being caused, it's not like she was anywolf he knew, so why waiste thoughts on her.
Bane's eyes played the reflection of a huge wolf beating up a runt, and they glowed with a darker deeper thrill. He was definitely being entertained. A black and green toed paw rose up and struck the small female in the face, a trail of blood followed in a rain of red droplets, and a bloody patch replaced one of her eyes. The violent action made Bane's stomach twist slightly in discomfort. Many times before, he had attacked and mortally wounded other wolves, but most of them were males, hardly would he savagely attack a female. Bane was reckless at times, but he still had his morals.
Despite feeling a small sensation to stop any more infliction of harm, Bane held himself, and continued his calm s resting without a flinch, and was glad when Nyx spoke up in her gruff voice for the wounded she-wolf to leave and get her tail out of their presence. The gray and red male numbed his feelings and concerns for her, so that he wouldn't have pity for what was happened get to her. Bane doubted any of the other three wolves had any such emotions for the small she-wolf at all, and they actually probably enjoyed causing her pain.
"Show's over runt, get lost." Bane growled lowly, turning off any concern for her that he had had before.

Fenrir looked at Nyx, the familiar excitement in her. His own excitement was still in his throat, heart thrumming wildly in his chest. She was speaking to the femme, commanding her to leave. His purple eyes had to hold on to Nyx, not waver – he could already feel his muscles and tendency to turn and finish what he had begun. Ever since traveling alone with Sigyn, he had developed a little bit of self control, since Sigyn usually liked to draw out the fun.
But he could still sense her near, smell the blood. His eyes started to lose focus and his lipped twitched with a growl. Need they tell her thrice? The muscles under his pelt seemed to roil like knotted snakes, steps turning him back to the bleeding wolf. In a leap he filled half the distance to her, meaning to startle her. Obviously she needed some encouragement.
“And I would hurry if I were you.” His low voice was quiet, but just loud enough to carry to Astral. His face was mangled with anger, frustration, and desire – a hope that she would maybe collapse and give up, or fight back, if she didn’t leave. He felt the water stop falling, the clouds dissipated slowly, allowing the shadows that played at their paws to darken. He could still feel the moisture in the air, and with the remaining clouds and moisture he shot them across the air above Astral and seemingly harmless colors exploded. A rainbow. Usually the mark of good day or luck, but in this case it was the beginning of something new, and not so bright. A day of terror.
Sigyn’s eyes moved back to the new wolf, eyes narrowing at his calm demeanor. Eyes flicked over to Nyx, the two seemed to have some sort of acquaintance. That, though, was not the reason for her suspicion. In their current scene, there was no need to hide emotion if the male leaned more towards the dark… Yet this male was quite still, and quite expressionless – maybe worry a little? Pale green eyes still rested on Bane, not moving, listening to each other wolf tell the wolfess to scram.
His name was Bane, she had heard Nyx offer that information in their brief acknowledgement of the other. For once, she was silent, just observing. While the two other wolves may have aligned with a darker power and personality, she did not trust easily. Neither had done anything to earn any trust, especially Bane. Nyx, at least, had not hindered their game when they had begun it, and she had added to the ambiance of their dreary scene.

Nyx;
Nyx remembered Bane. Perhaps on the border between Neutral and Evil, but she could sense in him that he would be easily swayed by the female kind. Too interested, too curious. Hadn't she felt the same thing back at the river when they had first met? His eyes... she remembered how they had dragged over her body, drank in her appearence. His eyes had darkened with unthought-ideas and half-fancied imaginings. She had laughed, then. Nyx was too broken a soul to ever feel anything real like that. Anger, jealousy, indifference, yes. But love? Attraction? No. However... she swung her head to look at Bane. There was something fascinating about him, if only that he, too, could control shadows. She wondered just how long he could stand to be around her and the likes of the other two before turning fully to the Evil side. As she watched him with smouldering eyes, she could sense that his soul was not as dark or shattered as her own. In time, though, perhaps...
Astral, instead of leaving, then, merely said that she would not return. Well. Not returning indicated a leaving at some point. She couldn't do it fast enough, for Nyx had gotten bored with her. The now-bloodied fur around her neck was calling to Nyx... Calling her to rip out the skin underneath it and truly make sure she didn't return. Suddenly then, inturupting her thoughts, she felt eyes on her. She swivelled her head in that way of hers—making it appear as if it was disjointed from her body, and locked eyes with Fenrir. His were deep, purple, and full of rage. Nyx felt physically hungry, looking at those eyes. When he leapt at the female and threatened her still, she felt a growl of approval rumble out from her chest.
"Or don't," She whispered, bending low to the ground and skittering to Astral's other side, locking her against Fenrir. She could almost feel the desire to kill off of him. Nyx's shadows probed out, licking at the big male's feet and legs. She could feel his fur in her mind, and see the tension on him. She looked sideways to Sigyn, and grinned wickedly at her. This was Astral's last chance to leave. She beckoned Bane closer with a look. The time for playing was over—now was the time to move in for the kill. She manipulated all the shadows in her power (but of course, not the ones in Bane's), and flattened them into a wall of swirling darkness. She raised it above and arced it over their heads, effectively blotting out the sun. The darkness made the orange in her eyes glow and she snapped her sharp teeth at Astral's ear. As Nyx's shadow wall created a block from the sun, it created a shadow of its own, which Nyx was quick to manipulate back into the barrier as a whole, and continued repeating until there was a massive, arcing, swirling wall of darkness surounding them. She hissed at Astral low in her throat.

Astral stood, wounded eye half opened, yet it was extremely blurry. "Fine. I'll leave. I've had enough with such wolves." She eyed Bane, eye glinting in an unknown emotion with anger and fear mixed in. She then stared at everyone. "I've had enough with this little game that has turned into an uneccesary fight. Goodbye." She let out a sigh, unfazed by the shadow wall. She turned to face it, blood dripping onto the ground. Without even thinking twice, she leaped through the wall. Darkness covered her vision for a moment, before she landed on the ground. "I do hope other evil wolves aren't as forceful as those wolves." She dashed away into the fog.
(OOC: Now, cause I have logic, Nyx's shadow wall is passable, right?))

Bane:
The clouds slowly evaporated, and the rain became misty air, this made Bane perk up and wonder who was the manipulator of the weather. He first observed the massive green and black wolf who was the perfect image of a fiend who was glaring darkly at the bloody she-wolf. His mind was definitely somewhere else than on the weather, his mind was on killing, and he looked about to strike. Next, Bane turned his deep golden eyes on the blood red female with a light green gaze that was focused on him. Raised eyebrows greeted the obviously suspicious she-wolf as Bane's eyes went over her alluring feminine figure that was slick and thin with a firm stance of confidence. 'Well hello...' A small smirk tugged at the side of his mouth, she was purely evil, he could see it clearly in her eyes. And for that reason, Bane speculated that if she was that evil why would she restrain the rain from pouring on him? Therefore, Bane concluded the green male to be the rain manipulator.
Bane noticed the lithe black and orange form of Nyx stalking closer, along with a growing wave of shadows the continued to steadily compact. With anticipation, the darker red streaked male stepped closer as well, he caught on to the intentions of Nyx as a wall of darkness began to tower above them. A toothy smile spread across Bane's muzzle, and he grabbed the shadows around him and added them to her wall of darkness. Pulsing vibrations crept under Bane's skin and tickled his toes, it almost felt like "he" was in the midst of the shadows, melding with the darkness the blocked out the sun. Was that pulsing another heartbeat? Bane threw a glance over to Nyx and smirked at her with his long white fangs, he wondered what powerful tricks they could do if the ever decided to work together. With Nyx's wall slowly growing larger and darker, Bane manipulated his shadows on a wide circle around the five wolves, the wall was growing in width until it was connected in a circle of darkness. Once a complete ring surrounding the wolves, Bane worked on thickening the shadow wall and darkening, but his grasping suddenly halted because there were no longer any more shadows to manipulate within his mental reach. Obviously Nyx had been grabbing as many in her reach, but now there was none. With furrowed brows and a harshly throbbing headache, the large gray and black male worked on spreading out the darkness and even creating a thin dorm overhead until it almost seemed as if it was night.
A soft chuckle rasped from Bane's throat, as he glanced at the other two evil wolves and wondered what they were feeling. He couldn't help but smile, his face and eyes glowed with mischievousness, almost in a taunting way. If the the others saw it as a threat, what would matter. In the crevices of his heart, Bane hoped this darkness would serve as a distraction for the wounded she-wolf to flee, but if not, he hoped the green wolf would kill her swiftly to end the torture.
The wounded female spoke suddenly, and like a hare she had sprung through the wall of shadows and vanished. However, Bane could see clearly through the beautiful sculpture of darkness, and watched with narrowed eyes as she hurriedly stumbled away. His attention was soon back on Nyx and the two strangers, and he eyed the other shadow master to try and read any signs of her dropping the shadows or keeping them formed over like a dome.

“Or don’t.” Fenrir’s gaze looked up at Nyx, almost expecting Sigyn to be the one egging him on. It wasn’t like Sigyn to egg him on to the final kill though, she reigned him back as much as possibly until he snapped. The encouragement that he was receiving from Nyx was gratifying and it made his chest tremble with excitement. The darkness that licked at his feet was like his heart or his intentions were seeping from him, while he was not the one to bend the shadows, it made him feel powerful, just to be around such power.
His head lifted and watched the female slip out of grasp and sight, through the wall of shadows that crept up around them. There was a grumble in the back of his throat, disappointment. He took a step away from Nyx, backing away from the wall, looking up as it started to dome. The runt was gone, we was no longer amused by the wall, he admired it, but for him it felt like the pair were trying to communicate a dominance over them. Amethyst gaze flashed with a dangerous anger in the diminishing light.
Sigyn continued to watch Bane, her eyes glancing uninterestedly at the growing shadows around her. The male met her gaze, but not before assessing her briefly. She met his smirk with a silent growl, baring her teeth. While Fenrir did not feel fear, Sigyn did, but never showed it. There was a reason why she kept her brother close. He was not overly protective, but usually there was no fowl play when he was around, because of his immensity and fierceness. As it got darker, she found a rock with her mind and let it roll around her feet, giving her more confidence in the darkness. Her sickly green eyes met Fenrir’s gaze momentarily, seeing he was not appreciating the wall any more than she was, whatever his reasons.
While there was still light right above them, Fenrir almost mindlessly accessed his ability, a mist forming about them. The mist reflected the light that there was, creating a sort of glitter effect in the forming shadow dome. With a little more concentration a formed a rainbow that filtered in through the top, the inky black shadowed grappling towards it. The rainbow stretched into the midst of them as far as it could go before being consumed with darkness.
“So, you two know each other?” Sigyn said simply, glancing at her brother’s rainbow with mild interest. She was starting to get bored, and wasn’t as interested in starting a fight with the shadow manipulators.

Nyx;Bane added his own shadows to her wall, effectively doming them and the others in. It didn't seem dark to Nyx, for nothing seemed dark to her anymore, but it would appear like night to the other three. She shifted her eyes and watched as Bane worked his darkness beside her. When their shadows touched, she could feel him. Not feel him exactly, but she knew he was there. She knew Fenrir was there, too. Anything her shadows touched, it was like she could feel it in her mind—like the feeling one gets when being watched, or the feeling there is when somebody has just left a space but it is still obvious they were there. A half-feeling. Astral scampered off then, and just like that Nyx dropped her shadows, entirely unconcerned with what Bane did. Her mind was fatigued after using her power so much, and dropping all manipulations felt good. She closed her eyes softly and exhaled for a moment—a distinctly wholesome gesture that she so rarely exhibited. In a flash she was back to normal though, and her eyes snapped open and fixed her face once more with that broken, half-living look. It wasn't that she looked like a zombie... it was more like her eyes were similar to the eyes of a starving wolf. She wasn't skinny and was obviously well-fed, but her eyes had a haunting hollowness to them that could not be explained by any that did not know her. And nobody did/ The siblings, for Nyx was pretty sure that was what they were by then, seemed unimpressed with their shadow play. Fenrir did, at least. He made a little wholesome rainbow, which was in such stark contrast with the swirling powers of darkness her and Bane possessed that she almost found it funny. Well, that was alright. He didn't have to care about their shadows. It made Sigyn uncomfortable, though. Nyx was a natural at reading wolves emotions, and even though she didn't show it, Nyx could see the shadow of a shadow within the female's eyes. Bane, on the other hand, was beside her, oggling Sigyn as ever. Perhaps that was why she was so uncomfortable. Nyx turned on him and lifted her lip silently, though she did it so naturally that he might not have even noticed the gesture. It just looked like a readjustment for her. "You two know each other?"Nyx rolled her eyes slightly. Obvious questions meant to spark conversation. "Not at all. I guessed a name and came up lucky," Her gravelly voice sounded muffled as it bounced against Bane's still-standing shadow wall. She looked at Sigyn mutely, hiding the ghost of a smile on her still-bloody maw. She shook out her wiry mane and glanced at the other shadow master. "Why are you here?" It wasn't a mocking question, nor even an agressive one. It was simply words to fill the void. The siblings were still there, and still agressive, and Nyx wasn't sure if she trusted them yet. Trusted, being a generous term. More like, she wasn't sure if she didn't trust them, yet. ((XD I meant to tag Blood but I tagged @b10hazard2003. We had originally planned on waiting to enter him AFTER Rayen and Leo, but that's all good. tovaana Why don't you reply, and Blood can do it whenever she is back? IDK. I just want this to get happening xD))

(oh pfft sorry I should bring Black Shuck into this now, shouldn't I? Astral left. Screw it He'll just be the silent chatter.ALSO: He'll only be watching from the back ground, not joining in on anything until leo and rayen are gone)
Shaggy, solid black fur moved throughout the barrens, and burning orange eyes moved in unison. The large, muscular being sat down and panted. Black Shuck was new to the barrens, new to the whole valley, really. His orange eyes targeted a black dome, and he stood back up. "Hmm?" He murmered as he began to walk to it. Then he stopped, scenting four wolves. He dropped into a hunter's crouch, eyes locked on the dome where he thought the four wolves were at.

The shadows collided at top and his rainbow disappeared. The sun was like the moon and Sigyn’s fur being the brightest of them all, was ghostly and bloody in the darkness. Fenrir’s gaze kept on his sister for a moment, the other two wolves more difficult to see. And suddenly half of it melted quickly away, his shadow released and returned under him, snapping to his frame. His gaze snapped to Nyx, who for a moment seemed to tremble for a moment from the exertion. It was only a moment though and she was back to the huntress that they had originally come upon.
Even as Sigyn began to speak, Fenrir’s gaze watched Nyx curiously. They had come across dark wolves before, but he had regarded them with little interest. Perhaps it was the shadows, or maybe the look in her eyes, how she had egged him on…
“Well, if you’re that lucky, we should keep you around.” Sigyn said with a smirk, acknowledging the mockery and lie.
“Why should we answer any questions, if you will not answer mine honestly? Are we not all the same alliance, as you did not stop us…” She glanced questioningly at Bane once more, a challenge held in her gaze. While he had added to the shadows and was silent, the mere absence of goodness, did not mean there was sufficient darkness.
“So there is no use in wasting time with stupid lies.” She tagged on, turning her attention back to Nyx.
“I don’t think our intentions are so secret, you seem intelligent, I guess you can gather your own conclusion for our intentions.” Her pale eyes glittered with amusement, tail flicking uncharacteristically like a cat for a second, the muscles under her coat shifting as she moved a little closer to her brother and sitting down. While she was not touching him, the warmth emanated from his frame that shuddered every other minute from the adrenalin that was slowing leaving his bloodstream. He was still standing and his gaze seemed to be fixed on the femme. She rolled her eyes slightly, glancing over at Bane then to Nyx. Her eyes glanced momentarily in the distance where another wolf appeared, but she was unbothered, uninterested at the moment.
