@b10hazard2003
((For those wondering about the RNG tag in the title. It's for Duality as a character, I'll be flipping coins to see if his mood changes from post to post!))
Squish, squash, squish, squash. A wolf was making sure that his paws were leaving small indents in the ground, making him quite easy to track for quite a long ways. It didn't seem like he had a particular reason for doing this either. "We're bored again." Murmured a voice in his head, to which he'd try and shake off. "Yeah! Let's kill something... Or someone! Even better yet!" Chimed a different voice. "Can it. We're not doing anything right now besides walking. We already ate and we aren't getting any more food for awhile!" The wolf barked back, appearing like he was talking to nobody if another wolf happened to be watching him.
With a sigh, Duality slumped his large frame down to the ground, extending his front paws outwards. The multi-colored wolf rolled onto his back and stared at the sky for a moment. "Not ev-" Started the murderous voice, "Nope." Duality interrupted it. He gently closed his odd colored eyes and tried to focus for a moment, letting his mind clear out as he tried to think for himself for once. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do, and figured soon enough he'd let the voices have their way if nothing interesting presented itself to him. He had heard about some packs in the area and wondered if he'd be a good fit for any of them... Though at the same time, he didn't want to risk much with his own psychiatric problem.

Rithe
The tall brown she-wolf bounded across the forest. "That'll teach 'em!" She laughed as she leaped over a log. She just snatched a couple bears carcass and buried it somewhere. She stopped as soon as she caught a scent, a wolf scent. Trying to be serious, she crouched, forest green and brown eyes scanning her surroundings. Then she saw a male wolf, who was oddly colored, to say the least. She slunk behind a large bush, and stayed as still as she could, though she couldn't help her fidgeting paws. She itched to greet the male, but she didn't want to risk aggravating him.

"Did you hear that?!" Started a voice, "Do you smell that..?"Rang another. Duality groaned a little, knowing his voices were right for once this time around. "Kill? Kill?" Repeated a voice as he rolled himself back over, only to bring himself back up to a standing position. He was out in the open, easily enough to see to any wolf in the area. Still, it didn't stop him from knowing someone else was there with him! Of course, the male didn't know exactly where to find this other wolf. He simply knew they were there, had caught a hint of their scent but wasn't able to track it down.
He let his jaw hang open slightly as he tried to find the scent once again. No luck, the wind was blowing slightly from him towards Rithe. "Run... It's unsafe!" Pleaded a new voice. At the request, Duality seemed to chuckle, it was a voice that never seemed to win in his mind. A cowardice thing, he thought. As opposed to running away and trying to find safety elsewhere, Duality plopped his hindquarters to the earth beneath him and started to scan the area with his double colored irises. He could've sworn he heard a bit of fidgeting near a couple of bushes he stared at, but assumed it was the voices messing with him again. Duality continued to check around the area, wondering who it was that thought it necessary to sneak up on him!

Rithe froze as the male's eyes met hers for only a second, maybe less. She let her muscles relax as he scanned, not finding her. Her eyes glowed dimly in the shadows, yet it somehow blended in with the leaves. She waited, and waited. Her brown fur bristled in anticipation. 'He looks just....wow!' She blinked, getting rid of the thought. She waited for the male to finish scanning the area. She whisked her tail slightly, getting a familiar song from her old family in her head. Rithe was about to place a paw out of the shadows before her stomach growled, just a bit too loud. 'uh-oh!'

In and instant, the oddly colored wolf found his head snapping to one side. He stared endlessly at a bush after hearing what he thought wasn't a rumbling stomach. "There!" Shouted a voice. Already, Duality has begun to steadily step towards the noise. He had stared at the area before, but must've missed the wolf hiding there! Once he got about four feet away from the bush he bared his blackened fangs.
"Who goes there?!" He demanded as his many voices gawked, laughed, cried, and shouted in his head. It was at this moment he'd have to decide if he wanted to take things seriously, of if he'd prefer to let the voices dictate his actions. He would roll with the latter, though he awaited Rithe's response. Her scent was now much clearer to him and if need be, he'd give chase. Duality didn't like being spied upon, or at least so his voices said.

Rithe emerged from the bush, shakily. "Uhm.....H-hi?" Her ears were pressed to her head, and her tail was tucked between her hind legs. She lowered her head, shaking. 'It wasn't supposed to be like that! Agh!' She mentally clawed and bit herself. "Yeah, I look pitiful." Rithe muttered, or really, snarled to herself. "M-my name's Rithe!" It felt like she just said her final words as she spoke. She closed her eyes, making it seem that she had pure black eyes. Most of the time, those she met would be calm, but Duality was way different. Keeping her eyes closed, she asked, "Y-y-y-your's?"

Duality's eyes seemed angry, though they always seemed that way. Any normal wolf would have a white sclera, though his were a dark black that enveloped his purple and red irises. It seemed fitting for a match though, given his teeth and claws. With those eyes he seemed to size up Rithe, his head slowly tilting off to one side, and then rolling back to tilt the other way as she introduced herself. "Pitiful is one word to describe it!" Mocked a voice in his head, to which he'd mentally snap at. "She could be a friend... After all, she doesn't look like one that would hurt you. See the way she stutters? She's afraid of you. Use it to your advantage." A new voice rang out. Duality's eyes closed fully for a moment as he breathed in deeply and sighed for a moment.
Without any warning the wolf plopped himself back into a seated position as he stared aimlessly at Rithe. It didn't seem like he wanted to speak for a moment or two until finally his jaws opened up. "Duality." He said simply, answering her question. "That's mine. What are you doing out here..? There could always be someone dangerous out here. Someone deadly... Someone... Crazy." He said to her, mostly trying to hint at the fact that he was perhaps unstable. "Of course... I could just be flapping my gums for no reason." He added, letting his jaws open up once again to let out a long and exasperated yawn, tacking on a bit of a growl towards the end of it. Once he finished his yawn he stared back into Rithe's eyes, not seeming too afraid to lose eye contact as he watched her own irises with his.

Rithe relaxed, opening her greenish brown orbs to stare at Duality. "Nice name." She said, gaining more confidence, and rising to her full height. Her ears rose, and her tail swayed behind her. "Believe me, I have seen many things when I was forced to be on my own as a yearling." She said, unabashed that she said one thing about her past. "Enraged foxes, a crow that could speak, and a few odd wolves." She said, sitting down just in front of the bush. The way the sunlight hit her eyes made them glisten, and the way it had hit her fur made her fur shine, both the black and the brown. "Just fooled some Bears by hiding their dinner," she said, but followed quietly with, "Should've eaten some."

The wolf settled his eyes uneasily on Rithe's. "Just be friends with her for now... After all, it couldn't hurt, right? She means you no harm." A voice chimed out in his hand. His ears seemed to droop a little as he relaxed some more, keeping his seated position in front of her. His short tail lifted up once and thumped against the ground beside him. "I'm sure... Life as an alone pup is rough. Why didn't you just eat their dinner then? Not like it wouldn't have filled you up and made you happy." He replied. His voice seemed gruff, though it had a calm tone to it at the moment as he spoke in a friendly demeanor to Rithe... For now.

Rithe paused, sighing. "I just...." she paused again, she felt pressured for some reason. "I don't know, never occurred to me." She shuddered, her mind whirled with her own questions. What really vexed her, however, was the fact that she felt insecure. "I also don't hunt, which is odd," she paused, thinking. "H-hunting large prey, I mean!" She felt warm under her fur, and she looked away, flustered. 'Rithe! What is wrong with you!' She tapped her paw subconsiously, and humming a tune. She let herself hum. Unaware that Duality could be listening, she sang one verse that she remembered by heart, "But your heart drifted off, like the land split by sea...I tried to go, to follow, to kneel down at your feet..."

He seemed to listen well enough to her, not really mentioning much about her peculiar flustered attitude, or her hunting ethics. His eyes remained in a fixated stare on her as she soon started to hum and sing. "Stupid song... Stupid! She can't hunt large prey either?! Pathetic! Pathetic!!!" A voice rang out in his head. The male's pupils seemed to grow for a short second before shrinking themselves back down to a normal size. "Well! You should learn to hunt the larger prey! How do you expect to eat well if you can't even do something as simple as that?! What is that song too, I can barely stand it!" He barked, standing up on all fours and looming over Rithe once again. His large figure seemed much more menacing this time around, his voice rougher and more dangerous. It seemed he had little control over his emotions, already switching them from something kind to something full of hate.

Rithe jumped, almost falling as she stood on all fours below the looking figure that was Duality. She whimpered, shrinking back closer to the bush. "W-well...." she stopped, thinking of words to say, "Well I don't care! What if i don't want to learn? what if I do-" She was interrupted when a sob made her choke on her words. Tears welled up in her eyes, making her vision blur. "I may be malnourished, but what does it matter to you?" She sobbed. Her voice seemed fragile, like a little pup. "That song...." she started, calming herself, sort of. "was a family song! You could've just blocked it out from your head!" She paused, looking to see how skinny she was, before breaking into a sobbing mess yet again. ((OOC: i used a random generator to see how'd she react ))

((I flipped positively now! Time for a weird post.))
Duality seemed to stare right through her for a moment. His own eyes shaking for a second before his irises seemed to shrink. "What have you done? Make it right." A gentle voice said in his head. Duality's ears folded back against his head as he slumped back a little. It was almost as if he was retreating from his own words. He wasn't sure what to say, what to do! The voices fell silent again as he craved for them to instruct him in what to say to this now sobbing she-wolf. "I care because all wolves need to be fed! There's plenty of meat in the hunting plains and it would be a shame if it was wasted!" He said, his voice seeming a bit calmer, though it still had a tinge of backbone to it. It seemed Duality wanted to keep his tone, but at the same time he didn't want to seem hateful towards Rithe. "Sing your song and hunt. Though I suggest humming it in your head, lest you want to earn your prey or attract predators." He added, shifting himself back into a seated position. His anger had seemingly took a full one hundred and eighty degree turn, out of nowhere! Yet still he couldn't find the words to apologize for his outburst.

Rithe blinked away what remaining tears were in her vision as she heard Duality speak in a more calmed way, and her breathing became more steady. 'And what just happened....' She looked to Duality with her forest green eyes, and she stood to her full height. "So there's a hunting ground around here," she said, "I best not get bit my some poisonous snake!" She said in almost a humorous way, though there WAS some edge to her voice. "Yeah, that happened." She glanced around, eyes filled with courage. "Hopefully I can make it there without getting lost!" She chuckled. "I'm sure we'll meet again!" She said cheerfully, while confused and embaressed inside, and walked past him and out into the forest.

Duality seemed to simmer down, though he couldn't help but growl at a few of the voices in his head as the she-wolf already started moving. The evil wolf wasn't sure whether or not to accompany her or not. "Let her die on her own... No sense in getting you caught up in it all." One voice spoke to him, speaking clearly over the others. "Don't get yourself killed." Was all Duality managed to speak up to Rithe. As she left he'd turn away from her, attempting to burn the image out of his mind. He hated seeing the she-wolf cry the way she did... It brought back a memory to him and he wanted to forget it. As he left he prayed he'd never meet Rithe in combat, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to do it...
