It was a quite peaceful day, Two cursed bodies laid out in the sunlight. The darker blue one seemed to be watching over the lighter one whom seemed heavily pregnant. The lighter she wolf shifted slightly lifting her head a little bit as she looked to the darker one. It seemed that she has just woken from a nap. Slowly she let out a yawn before speaking" hey where is Volka....and the others"Hemera asked her sister. Nox flicked and war before speaking"they went out for a bit they should show up soon though"Box replied flatly. She was only there to watch over her pregnant younger sister and big was that hiring. Area was one of the first to return his dark pelt bristled and mated for a moment til he joined them and started grooming his fur. Rykett @blood Tiel

((Sorry about forgetting to post here. Why don't we start this thread up again? It's about time we get this sibling plot moving. Rykett Blood )) Ouranos:With gentle footsteps into the clearing where two of his sisters were, Ouranos approached the pair. Without a word, he sat next to them, and smiled. Hemera's pups were coming soon. He was going to be an uncle. If only Volka was someone he trusted. He had hardly seen Hemera's mate since their last encounter, and wondered if he would make a decent father. Ouranos disliked him. There was no reason why he should dislike him, but neither was there a reason to like him. The look Volka always had in his eyes, the way he was so ruggedly handsome any she wolf would fall for him, Ouranos doubted his trustworthiness. And he doubted his sister's ability to recognize when wolves meant more harm than good. Maybe Hemera loved Volka, but was the feeling mutual? Ouranos licked behind Hemera's ear, and brushed against her affectionately. "You'll make an excellent mother," he said. This was true for the most part. And if not, he'd help her out. Khoine:How could Sheba just turn her down like that? Khoine was going to get a power somehow, someway. She was evil now. Well, officially evil. She supposed she had really always been evil, but it took Sheba's infuriating neutrality to allow Khoine to recognize it. Next summer she'd go see Geist and get the power she deserved. Flame. Approaching three of her siblings, she smirked. She overheard them talking about Hemera's future pups, and decided now was as good of a time as ever to pick on her sister. "Haven't seen Volka lately," she said. "Where do you think he goes off to all the time without your consent?" Khoine did not mention the fact that she had been meeting with Volka in the woods. She'd wait til he himself broke it to her. That way it'd hurt even more. Khoine side glanced at Nox, who might find her teasing funny if grumpy Ouranos didn't. Nox seemed to have a similar way of thinking, and was Khoine's most tolerable sister.

Nox: Nox looked up seeing their siblings,Khoine and Ouranos. Khoine was one of her favorite siblings but she rivaled her a little bit too. She sat up a bit"speak of the devils see look there is Khoine and Ouranos there"She said. She flicked her dark tail slowly. She decided now of all times would be a good time as any for what she was about to say,Zeus would find out later."so yeah I'm not sticking around. I'm tired of this neutrality and having to inform others where I have to be I'm going off on my own"She said with a flick of her dark blue tail icy blue and blue eyes looking to each of them before she flicked her tail and started to pad off"best of luck to you guys"She said and with that she was out of the clearing.
Ares: Ares gave a slight snicker but blinked his scarlet eyes looking to Nox as she left"hmm well that was unexpected but bound to happen"he said.
Hemera:
Hemera relaxed a bit when she seen Ouranos. She relaxed a bit"hey..."She said before her ears flattened"yeah i..dont know if I will or not"She said quietly. Her gaze then went Khoine. Her slimy untrustworthy sister. For some reason she just never had the heard to be nice to her."yeah I'm sure and I'm sure you were with him a some point "She growled still none too happy with her her fur along her spine bristled up. Though she forced herself to relax as she felt a sharp pain for a moment and she gave the smallest while as she leaned to lick her swollen flank.

Zeus:
A rush of air hit his face as he bolted after a hare, zig-zagging through trees and bushes. His claws dug into the mossy ground and trampled over fragile twigs, leaving a mess of mud and broken sticks in his trail. The small gray animal dove beneath some underbrush, but Zeus did not sneak around silently, and wait motionlessly for so long just to loose his hunt. Without hesitation, the burley male dove after the rabbit, his head tearing up the brush and he snapped at what he hopped was the hare's head. It broke under the force of his jaw, telling Zeus that his jaws did not catch his prey, but snapped a branch. His intent ears head soft rustling running from the brush, and he quickly pulled his head free, catching sight of a bounding white tail just in time. Again he rushed after his prey with full speed. With each leap he grew closer until the hare thought it best to quick jump to the left and dodge the fangs of death. His momentum made him miss again, but he gained balance and continued tailing the rabbit. After a few more twists and turns, Zeus was finally able to take advantage of a deadly mistake the small animal made, costing it it's life.
The clearing came in view as Zeus trotted through the woods with his head held high carrying his kill, and tail leisurely swaying back and forth, but when he spotted his other siblings he slowed to a walk and lowered his head. Being by himself and walking the woods alone was always peaceful and relaxing, rejuvenation from the tension and aggressive feeling he always got when he was around his siblings. Well, except Hemera. His ears laid back when he heard the voices of Khoine and Ares, they were talking about Nox.
Zeus entered the clearing just in time to see Nox leaving it. He dropped the dead hare at his feet and asked, "Where is she going?" No one really answered him, but Ares made a remark that it was bound to happen. "She's leaving?" He asked without a hint of emotion for the dispersal of one of his sisters. Picking up the limp hare, he placed it near Hemera's paws and looked down at the full belly. He felt weird giving her food when it already looked like she had eaten an entire moose all by herself. But it wasn't the kind of full that came by eating, she was full with pups. That was even weirder to have his younger sister pregnant when he hadn't even found a female companion for himself, but that was hardly a priority for him right now. Zeus nudged the meat closer to his sister before lifting his head and looking at Ouranos. He gave him a disapproving stare that said "wow, why don't you stay here all day long, and I'll hunt all the food.", before walking away and plopping down to rest.

((Finished one of Volka's threads! Sorry, it took so long! Let's get this plot rolling again!))
Volka:
Volka was returning from yet another successful mission in the woods. He’d met up with Khoine at first and they’d gallivanted through the forest together for a while. Eventually, they’d decided to part for a while, Volka to hunt and Khoine to petition Sheba. Since he’d been covered in leaves and Khoine’s scent from rolling around and cuddling with her, he’d found some mud and rolled in it to mask her overpowering scent. Then to clean off that layer of filth, he’d located some fresh water and took a quick dunk. With Khoine’s scent successfully cleansed from his soaked fur, he then had tried to hunt. He’d only managed to find a mouse nest. He caught as many as he could before heading back to the clearing that’d become the siblings’ home base, carrying several mice by the tails. By the time, he arrived there his fur was dry. He nearly bumped into Nox as she left. He looked after her puzzled as he continued into the clearing.
’Where’s she off to?’ he thought right before Zeus voiced the same question. A comment from Ares drew Volka’s attention. Zeus also heard it and jumped to another incredulous exclamation. ’So, Nox’s decided to break away from this “tightly-knit” group. Not a surprise, but if I play the game right, I could use Nox’s departure as a way to rip all of these wolves apart.’ Volka padded over to Hemera with a smile. He noticed that Khoine had returned from her trip to the White Wolves, but didn’t meet her eyes and risk the suspicion of Hemera’s brothers. He pushed past Zeus and dropped the mice in front of her, ”Sorry it’s not much. I didn’t have much luck, today.” He hung his head, as if ashamed that he hadn’t caught more.
Shifting his attention away from his supposed shortcomings. Volka walked around Hemera to lie down beside her in a way that she could lean against him if she wanted the extra support. ”How are you doing? Has everything been alright while I was gone?” He licked the back of her head as he spoke, before directing his gaze to her round belly. ”How are they?” he asked like the proud father he was supposed to be. ”How many do you think there will be?”
Volka noticed Zeus giving Ouranos a disappointed glare. With Nox already gone, tension heightened between Zeus and Ouranos, and Khoine in love with him, Volka realized this was the perfect time to set the great finale into motion. ”Hemera,” he whispered in her ear, his voice low, concerned, and a little rushed, ”I’m really sorry, but I don’t know if I want to raise our pups around your siblings. They’re always arguing. There’s not a moment of peace. Is that really the kind of example you want them to set for our children? Look at them even now.” Volka paused to let Hemera take in the scowling Zeus and Ouranos, ”Ares and Khoine won’t make much better role models, either. Ares’s only goal is to get in fights. I don’t want our pups copying that and getting themselves killed. Khoine… I haven’t told you this because I don’t want you to worry, but she’s been trying to seduce me. I’ve derailed every attempt-you’re my mate and Khoine will never get me to be untrue-but is that really the kind of she-wolf you want helping raise our pups? And Nox, well, it’s quite obvious what she thought of this ticking timebomb of a family. I’m sorry I have to be the one to tell you all this, Hemera, I really am, but I’m too worried about our pups’ well being to remain silent. Please, can we find another place to raise them? I promise to take good care of you and our pups.” Volka licked the back of her head again as if to show how much he cared about her.

Khoine: "Some valedictory that was," Khoine scoffed at Nox's goodbye words. Khoine would have come up with something grander, more memorable. Her icy eyes followed Nox's dark figure as she padded off into the woods, disappearing into the red trees and tall shrubbery. And suddenly, a small ache tugged at her, and at the suggestion of her deep blue sister walking away from her family. Her paws shifted uncomfortably where she stood at the thought of never seeing Nox in their group again. She had never realized it before, but without Khoine's evil sister, she would have no one to talk to freely. No one to understand her. And the worst part was, Khoine had always pictured Nox being the first one to follow Khoine as leader. Now she'd have to start with one of her harder-to-persuade siblings.
Khoine turned to glower at Hemera and Ouranos who were chatting by the edge of the glade. Zeus seemed preoccupied with Nox's disappearance. Her ears perked at the sound of Volka's voice, and she turned to face him. He carried a bundle of mice by their tails, and sounded disappointed that it wasn't very much. Maybe Nox was gone, but Volka was here. Volka would put an end to that ditzy smile on Hemera's face. They would gain power together. And that comforted Khoine enough.
Volka strode over to Hemera, barely acknowledging Khoine. Something about the way he licked her sister's head and spoke dulcetly to her rubbed Khoine the wrong way. She knew it was all fake, but it was hard to watch. Khoine hated feeling ignored. But she didn't interrupt them, because she knew that soon, it would all be worth it.
Ouranos: In response to Ouranos' words, Hemera said with flattened ears "Yeah i..dont know if I will or not"
"Don't sound so unsure of yourself," Ouranos said. "You'll do great, and hey, we'll always be here for you when you need us."
Then, as if on cue, he heard Nox's voice say she was leaving the group. He opened his mouth to respond, when Zeus padded into the clearing, saying exactly what he was thinking. Nox was out of the glade before he could say anything to her, so he spoke to the general group. "She's not coming back?" Ares said it was bound to happen, and Ouranos gave him a flat look. What did Nox's disappearance mean for the rest of his family? Ouranos knew that, no matter what he did, he couldn't stop the rest of his siblings from deciding they were better off on their own. That created an ache in his heart. Well, what did you expect? he thought to himself, Most siblings don't stick together all through adulthood. Why do you think your's will? And still, he had always pictured his family growing old together. The thought of them being apart made him feel light headed.
Volka padded into the glade with prey in his maw, then sat by Hemera, and at that moment Ouranos realized why he mistrusted his sister's mate. In the back of his mind, he was afraid Volka would take Hemera away. It was inevitable, unavoidable, destiny. And maybe, it was time for Ouranos to let go. Hemera could handle herself, and if Volka really did love her, he could take care of her. Ouranos sighed. It hurt, but perhaps it was for the best.

Hemera: Hemera slowly laid back more on her side as her older brother spoke to her. She started to relax taking notice that the rest of her siblings showed up that was until Nox left. Despite the way Nox was she did still care about Hemera but it shocked the she wolf that she would leave. It caused her to flatten her ears against her head but she blinked and looked to the hare placed in front of her. "Well...I'm not sure where she is going"She said holding back the whine that was coming to her voice. "Thank you Zeus"She said quietly. She had started to dig in taking bites of the hare before she blinked slowly feeling bad that she was the only one eating"d..does anyone else want some?"She asked looking to her siblings. Though it was short lived as Volka came in with a few mice and she smiled a bit her ears pricked up and she tried to sit up a bit more. Though her attempts ultimately failed. She relaxed as Volka came and rested behind her. She curled her tail over her back paws. Taking in his words she seemed to consider it for a long moment"i...in not sure....i .I mean your right about Ares but...i..im afraid to leave Oranous and Zeus even still"She said ears flattening for a moment. She then breifly looked to Volka"I.. I guess we could go"She said quietly but there was a lot of hesitation to her voice. She looked to her older brothers.
Ares:
Ares just seemed uninterested"not sure don't care you can't tell me it wasn't bound to happen"He spoke scarlet eyes looking to his sibling in turn. He then shook his head at Hemera's offer.

Zeus:Right before Zeus laid down, Volka came sauntering in the clearing with a mouth full of rodents. Apparently he had been hunting as well. 'At least he tried, unlike Ouranous.' Zeus grumbled to himself about the laziness and selfishness of his siblings. They only hunted for themselves, hardly thinking of sharing unless it was a big kill. With sceptical eyes the gray cloudy pelted male watched Hemera's mate as he brought her the fresh meat and placed it in front of her beside the half eaten hare. Zeus double thought his sceptisism towards Volka when he saw the way his actions were towards Hemera. How he brought her food and how he gently licked her on the head and then curled up behind her. Maybe Volka really was a good father and that he actually cared about Zeus' little sister as a mate. However, even with the clear actions of Volka, Zeus still couldn't fully shake the thought that the gray male might be a fake. It didn't take much to lie, but to put on a whole act was a hard skill to master. Only the truly experienced could pull it off, and Volka already seemed to have a sly air about him. Zeus doubted Volka had any desperately evil intentions, but he still didn't trust the he-wolf fully. The strong gray male lay behind Hemera and held her up as he nudged her and spoke soft words into her ear. Hemera' sears twitch with what Volka was saying, and her expression changed as well. From Zeus' angle he couldn't hear what the he-wolf was saying, and his face was also half hid behind Hemera. Suspicion again rose up in Zeus' mind as his electric blue eyes peered over at the two mates. A debate was going on in his thoughts as he tried not to let his expression show what he was thinking. To avoid Volka or Hemera suddenly looking over at him and seeing his concern, Zeus shook his thick mane of fur and began grooming his shoulders and forelegs, ever keeping an ear towards the whispers of Volka. Something was brooding. Like a storm on the horizon, the air tasted of rain. RykettTiel@spiriaaurina

Hemera didn’t respond to his inquiries about her health and their unborn pups, instead she focused on the most important of his words, the little speech about her family. Hesitantly, she agreed, but her eyes were on Ouranos and Zeus. Those two were the ones that kept her here. She obviously didn’t mind parting ways with Ares and Khoine. Perhaps with a little more time he could wiggle into the cracks of her relationship with her elder brothers and pry them apart. But the timing was right, now, to lead her away. Volka wasn’t sure if he wanted to be around at all for the birth of his offspring. Supposedly, seeing one’s pups could change a wolf… Volka was still new at this. It’d be better for him if he didn’t lay eyes on the whelps. ”I’ll spare you the responsibility of breaking the news to them,” his voice was soft and sad, but determined. Volka gave Hemera a “loving” lick and stood. He stepped towards her siblings, positioning himself like shield between Hemera and them. ”Hemera and I have decided to raise our pups elsewhere. This wasn’t an easy decision for her or me, but we think it’s for the best. I promise to take good care of your sister. Just please, do not follow us,” Volka announced to the rest of the family. His voice sounded pained, but was edged with hard stubbornness. As he spoke, his eyes flicked from one sibling to the next. At “follow us,” his eyes met Khoine’s. After those words, his gaze switched to Ares, hoping Khoine had caught the subtle hint. He trusted the sly female to figure a way to follow without alerting her brothers. Volka turned back to Hemera and gently nudged her with his nose. ”We should go,” he stated softly.
