Tokilota:
Toki was back!
He was home at last, after fighting a war he had no business fighting. He could go home, see his family again. See little Jess again, heck, he would be happy to see Flint! He just wanted to have his family again, not have to worry about getting killed every day. Not be the one sending wolves to their deaths, the one telling their families.
Toki was happy to be back into the peace of the valley. When he had left, there was no threat of war. Life had been peaceful. He needed that stability, somewhere he didn't have to worry about being attacked in the middle of the night. (To this day he couldn't get a good night's sleep, he was too used to taking the graveyard shift of watch duty) Home was just as pretty as he remembered, Kai Lake glittering and the mountains as tall and imposing as he remembered. He couldn't wait to go back to what he had loved doing, playing in the sun and sleeping. A happy sigh escaped him, as he started his trek. The arch of his back gave him a hobble, but he didn't care. He was home!
Toki was certain (Or despretly hoped) that nothing had changed while he had been gone. How much could change in that small amount of time? Well, he didn't see anything. That was good enough for him to be sure that everything was perfectly fine. There was no threat, he could settle down and find a pack. A pack would be so nice! But there were only three, one of each alliance. Before he had left, Toki had herd a little about a pack called Midnight Silence, but as far as he knew that, like so many other packs, had petered out long ago.
So, happy, Toki took a second to smell the air. It was crisp, but it was muggy. It would rain soon, Toki loved the rain!
