Kylon:
The thick gray pelt of the strong male glowed even more golden as the light from the sinking sun melted over the land. The end of the day was nearing, and so would their journey for the day. Kylon flung his head around to look for Lykos and Jess were somewhere behind him. His ears had hurt too much listening to the blind she-wolf talk that he had to quicken his pace so that he could be ahead of them and not have to listen to the annoyingly cheerful chattering of Jess. In some way he would silence that tongue, maybe not make her completely mute, but whipping out all that cheerfulness would sure be nice. Jess seemed like a wolf that could handle a lot, just by the way she spoke about her past with no emotion. Her own parents tried to kill her, yet she is still smiling and laughing. Kylon grumbled to himself as he thought about how he would simmer the spirit in her, or turn it rotten. Training wolves to the evil side was a lot harder of a task than he thought. But if it didn't work on Jess, than there was no other way but to release her soul from her blind body.
Trickling sounds played peaceful notes of tranquility from the nearby creek. The gray male turned his head to the melodious sound and dropped his tongue out of his jaw anticipating the cool liquid. They had traveled a good distance, and water was high priority right now. "Come on you two, I found a creek!" Kylon didn't wait for his brother and the she-wolf, he was already trotting down to where the sound of the running water was coming from.
