The large brown male smiled as he watched the autumn sky, multi-colored eyes glittering in the noon sunlight. After crunching their ways through the forest, he and his... Friend... Shajea had found their ways to this pink forest. "I've heard of this place! It's called the Forest of Love." His tipped white tail was wagging. He was here with his beloved. His silver face was split in a smile. "Dude this is so cool!"
Kodi glanced at the black male beside him, and he realized something. Shajea was someone you didn't get over. He was the kind of wolf you get hung up for the rest of your life over. And, he was hooked. Kodi's brown eyes went wide, then he looked at the ground. There was one way to keep him, and he figured that Jea was into him from the looks he caught occasionally. (He knew he didn't spot a lot more)
They were in the right place. He could ask.
"Shajea?"
"Yes?" Icy white eyes turned to Kodi's brown ones. Kodi took a deep breath. "Will you stay by my side? Forever?"
Silence. Then,
"Yes, so many times yes!" Shajea's eyes were bright with joy. "I.. I was going to ask you."
Kodi did something impulsive. The large brown male pressed his nose to the smaller black one's brown nose, who leaned right back into the larger male.
When they pulled apart, their eyes were both soft in how they looked at each other.
