Sorry for not replying til now, I've been rather busy))
Everything happens so fast. Aerwyna watches Kalanxi slink closer to them, she turns her gaze to Aerwyna, a crazed light swimming in her eyes. She gives her warning, telling Aerwyna to back up. The small, dark teal wolf is confused by the simple warning. She opens her maw to say something but stops as Kalanxi speaks of choices and lunges at the male wolf.
Aerwyna scrambles to her feet, nearly falling backwards. Her coat bristles with tension as she watches the male wolf just barely dodge Kalanxi's attack. She is unsure of what to do. Her brain screams go yet her paws stay planted, frozen. She watches the scene unfold, more of an onlooker than anything. She wants to help the male wolf but she isn't sure how. She is terrible when it comes to fighting. Panic bubbles in her chest. Why do wolves resort to fighting? Why not heated arguments? Those are far better than fighting. She reminds herself that one of the wolves is mute and the other is obviously crazy, but there are still other ways!
She looks around, there are no other wolves in sight, none that would help stop Kalanxi. She should help, she knows she should. Yet her paws stay planted. Her brain screams at her to do something. She doesn't move a muscle. She watches as the male begins to charge at Kalanxi. It looks as if he is not trying to bite, instead maybe distract her. The tension in Aerwyna's chest builds and builds, she is far too afraid to do anything physical. The screaming in her head gets louder and louder until she finds that she is screaming out loud.
"STOP!" She howls in frustration and what sounds like anger, to a wolf who is really listening it would sound more like panic. Before she can think, her paws are set in motion. All the energy that had been building is released and she begins to barrel straight for Kalanxi. Aerwyna looks about as graceful as a fish out of water as she runs. She has nothing planned whatsoever, just trying to stop the two, especially Kalanxi.
