Nicolas and Edmond;

Their first time in the valley and this is where they end up. The two males looked around the area in slight disappointment. Both of them were so used to vast lands covered in grass and perfectly grown trees that this area they came upon wasn't a pretty sight. They both had been told that the White Wolf Mountain valley was gorgeous and full of all sorts of unique wolves that could only be found there. Well...they hadn't met any wolves and the first area they came too wasn't that impressive.

"Kind of a downer, really, " Edmond stated bluntly, shrugging his shoulders. He sniffed the area briefly, just checking to see what there was too see, which...wasn't much.

Nicolas looked around them, not quite as negative as Ed was being. He had to admit that this place was a disappointment, but this was just one small area of the valley. There was sure to be more. He watched his guard sniff the area and found himself wondering. He ended up on a small outcrop made of stone. He then was hit with a sudden scent of other wolves, and a lot of them. Ed seemed to have caught it as well, for he ran to Nic's side.

Violet and NightHowler said bye to the rest of the pack and went out to play with there pups. They where the normal sort of family in the forest with three almost purple females and grey-black males. Violet looked around for a safe place for her four pups to play checking back occasionally to make sure they stay close by. NightHowler smiled as his lovely mate and pups where going to spend the day hanging out. "where should we go guys?" he asked the group smiling. Lucy jumped up and down. Even though she was the second born she was always more mature. "Lets go to a river." she said smiling. Greymoon thought it over and smiled. "no lets go hunting." he said play growling. Lilac didn't mind her younger siblings but she did mind that since she was older she could pick. "Lets go sight seeing." she urged. Smoke looked around at where they where. He really didn't care where they went as long as they stopped walking. Violet smiled at how much her pups got excited. Then she smelled something and nudged NightHowler. "What is it?" he asked concerned then smelled also. "Pups stay close." he said and went to check out the smell of two wolves. The pups stayed close wondering what was going on. Violet followed him and then saw the two males. "Well hello there." she said kindly but inside she didn't trust them.

Nicolas and Edmond;

They hadn't expected to meet any wolves in such a depressing place. Neither of the boys understood how any wolves could live here, if any did that is. As the two of them looked across the area, there was a large amount of movement not too far from them.

As the family appeared, both of the boys' eyes grew wide. Two adult wolves and three pups. The thought that came to both of their minds is why would you ever bring pups to a place like this? But they weren't going to say that. At first they thought that the family hadn't seen them, but the eyes of the adult she-wolf had found them. She had said hello while the other adult male remained beside her and the little pups were behind them. Edmond's hackles raised, but he made no move, which was a surprise to Nic. Maybe seeing that these two wolves had pups was what made his guard not as protective this time.

Nicolas decided that he would be himself and respond first before Ed would have a chance. "Hello. Do you all live here? If so, we didn't mean to intrude, " he stated, his voice polite and kind. He had to admit that seeing the pups there didn't immediately convince him that these wolves were trustworthy, but what wolves would openly be a threat while three little ones were around?

Violet smiled at the two. Even though one of them looked tense the other was quite friendly. "Im sorry but we don't we love over there a few ways." she said pointing her tail the way they came. "You didn't intrude on anything we where just going to have some family time. Let me introduce myself I'm violet." she said smiling. She looked like a normal everyday wolf in the valley. She was a pretty shade of purple with bright pink eyes and white paws. NightHowler smiled at the two but was a little tense unlike violet. "My name is NightHowler." he said introducing himself. Lilac smiled at them. "Hi I'm lilac I'm the oldest." she said smiling. Greymoon cam up. "Hi I'm Greymoon." he said. Lucy smiled at them. "Hi I'm Lucy." she said smiling. Smoke came out of hiding. "Hi I'm smoke." he said.

Nicolas and Edmond;

Both of the young males listened as the family came forward and introduced themselves. Violet, Nighthowler, Lilac, Lucy, Greymoon, and Smoke. They were all relatively normal names and most of them seemed like normal wolves, besides the occasional pink and purple furs. As far as they could tell, these wolves were friendly, which was definitely a good thing since they were the first wolves that the two had met since they got to the valley.

"I'm Nicolas, " the black and teal-furred male stated, giving a slight bow of his head. That small action brought a slight amount of irritation to Edmond, but he didn't show it on the outside. "Edmond, " was all he said, glancing between the family in front of them. As far as he could tell, they weren't dangerous. But there was always that chance that this was a trap. What if they were just using the pups to lure them into an ambush? Or these two adults were actually killers who learned to act friendly? OR, maybe all of this was just a distraction and soon there would be a giant pack surrounding them right where they stood? All of these things were complete exaggerations, but Edmond had been trained to think these things through all his life and to consider every possibility before taking action.

"This is a bit of an odd place to spend some family time. It seems very empty and dreary." Nicolas tilted his head, stating his opinion, curious as to why they would choose this area of all places to bring pups.

She nodded at them. Violet agreed that it was a weird place but she didn't want to go to far from the pack that they couldn't get help if needed. "Yes it is a weird spot but we didn't want to go to far from camp." she said smiling. NightHowler stilled stared at the tense male not trusting him. Lucy jumped out of her fathers way and leap up on the wolf named Edmond. "play with me play with me." she said giggling and chewed his ear. Lilac was the oldest and didn't like how childish her sister was. "Im so sorry about my sister she likes meeting new wolves." she said embarrassed. Greymoon laughed and joined in all the fun. He went for Edmonds legs and clung to it laughing. "You will never get me off." he said still laughing. Smoke walked out from behind his dad and smiled up at the older wolf. "Can I play too?" he asked smiling.

OOC: yes there is four lol smoke blends in and doesn't say much so he is quite invisible sometimes.

Nicolas and Edmond;

So they were pack wolves, or something similar. Both of the males were curious about where it was these wolves lived, if not here, but not in an odd way. Neither of them said anything about it, deciding that it would be safer not to.

Right after the she-wolf had finished speaking, one of her pups leaped forward, going right at the gray and nearly-white speckled wolf announcing that he should play with her. Edmond's eyes went wide as the young pup pounced at him. The move had thrown him off and also surprised him, causing him to tumble backwards onto his back. As the pup began to chew on his ear, two phrases went through his mind from back when he was training to be a guard.

Pups are almost always playful, so you don't always have to remain alert around them. Just make sure you never stray from who you protect and always stay aware of what is happening.

Pups are harmless! Regardless of the situation, you do not hurt a pup.

Edmond's orange eyes softened slightly, allowing the first pup to chew playfully on his ear. He then glanced down to find another one of the pups, one of the gray males, jumping at him, latching onto his leg. He was reminded of his own puphood and gave a small smile, humoring the little male and shifting his leg back and forth, swaying the little one to the sides. He also kept flicking both of his ears just to toy with the little female. But he still made sure that Nicolas was at his side and that the two adults weren't going to do anything.

While Ed was distracted, Nicolas watched with an amused smile. He looked back over at the remaining two pups, noticing a clear difference in their personalities. He then looked back up at the two adults, Violet and Nighthowler. "If you don't mind me asking, what can you tell me about this valley? We just arrived here and haven't been anywhere else except here. You are also the first wolves we have met."

Violet sat down and smiled as her pups where playing. She listened to the other male named Nicolas. "well for me you could also say I was new. I was born in this valley but humans took me away after they killed my parents. They made me make pups and always sold them. When I finally escaped I had only one pup, lilac. I came here then found a pack named thunderpeak. I joined and doing so met NightHowler. We then had three pups." she said smiling. NightHowler was nodding the whole time she talked. "well this forest is pretty normal besides the forest of love. Oh and the wolves that give you powers but not always. Are pack member rose wasn't aloud to get any powers because she was emotional and started yelling." he said giggling. Lilac growled at her younger brother smoke. "Fear me brother." she said. Smoke growled with and attacked tripping over Edmonds paws. He got up laughing and couldn't help but look at Lucy. Lucy jumped off Edmond and tackled her older brother. Greymoon was the youngest out of all of them so he stayed and kept attacking Edmond rather than his siblings. He smiled up at the big wolf. "If you are new why are we the first wolves for you to see?" he asked with his pup brain. Everyone in the family was smart but even though he was youngest he was smarter then everyone in his pack. Lilac, Lucy, and Smoke decided to team up and they all pounced on him at once. "Fear the power of pups." they said laughing.
