Welcome to the WWM Ball! A place where wolves in human form come together for one really really long night in an extravagant ballroom filled with music, a buffet, and dancing!Keep in mind that nothing that happens in this thread is canon! So relationships can go all over the place! Now, let the dancing begin! Nanouk; A girl with pale skin, medium-length black hair with a golden stripe down the center, and equally golden eyes walked into the ballroom. Her dress was knee-length and was midnight black in color, a long sleeve covering one arm and going down under the other, leaving her other shoulder and arm uncovered. Around the torso of the dress was a golden ribbon and at the bottom were golden frills that angled upwards. Not recognizing anyone right off the bat, she moved over to one of the pillars holding up the upper floor and leaned against it, waiting. Valentine; Ah, getting to see many girls in dresses. It was always enough to draw in that handsome prince. His tux, like many others' would likely be, was black as the primary color, but a dark green bowtie and undershirt could be seen quite clearly, matching his green hair that was multiple shades. His light green eyes scanned the room, taking note of a few of the girls that had already arrived, but deciding not to go straight at them just yet. Onyx; It had taken a ridiculously long time to get that dress on. It was such a pain. But, really, it had been worth it. In her opinion, it looked good on her. A girl with somewhat long orange hair with black highlights walked into the ballroom, multi-colored red and white eyes glancing around the room quickly. Her dress was floor-length and orange and black in color. Thin straps held it at her shoulders and disconnected black sleeves on her arms were connected to some of the frills near the bottom of the dress. She went towards the buffet, examining the options. Nicolas and Edmond; This whole party had taken so long for the servants to prepare. The music, the food, the decorations, everything. Luckily, one of the hosts of the party was actually present to make sure everything was done correctly. Nicolas had stood on the top balcony, overlooking the party as it was assembled. It had really been his father that had organized all of it, but Nic was given the job of running it, which wasn't surprising. Edmond had stood by his side, making sure that nothing went wrong and helping out when he was asked. The two boys now stood almost in the same spot they had overlooked the work from, looking down as guests began to arrive. Nic, copper-skinned, black and teal hair, and teal eyes, wore a black tux with a light blue undershirt. Ed, slightly tanned, silver and white-highlighted hair, and orange eyes, wore a tux very similar to Nic, only his was very simple: black main clothing and a white undershirt. The two boys watched over the party, getting ready to go down to the floor. (I'm just going to say that because Nic is my character and he is technically a "prince" that he is hosting the ball) My dress refrences

Manaaki, Kanga; The front doors seemed to part in almost slow-then-sped-up motion, to reveal two massive guys. Many of the men at the function seemed to have chosen black suits with somewhat colourful highlight pieces; however, Kanga and Manaaki were far from the rest, as usual. Kanga was dressed in a deep, russet red suit with a black shirt and tie, creating quite the pop of colour, and his shoes were a deep brown. Kanga's hair was a deeper colour than his suit, but complimented it nicely. Beside him, came Manaaki. Manaaki's suit was a deep grey with highlights of silver that flashed subtly as he moved. His shirt, tie, and shoes were black. His hair was a very dark grey as well, clearly dyed to fit the colour. The twins stood an easy head and shoulders taller than everybody else, closer to seven feet tall than six feet, and with the weight to pack a punch as well. The door closes behind them and they survey the room for a moment. After a beat, Kanga leans in and says something quiet in Manaaki's ear. The older twin's eyes close in a slow blink, and a graceful smile flashes on his lips for a moment.
Koa; Light green eyes hone-in on the two newcomers to the party, two massive examples of men; probably sports players or something. Those types of guys were always impossible at parties, anyway. Koa leans back to the counter and tucks a piece of deep brown hair behind her ear. Her dress is made of fine satin with thin straps, is stormy-blue, and has subtle vine-like markings across the length of it. The dress' hem is uneven, coming on one side above her knee, and one the other draping to the floor. Her high heels are somewhere else, forgotten, and she is wearing bare-feet to match her finery.

Baal and Arani;Baal walks through the door with his sister, Arani, just by how they measure up to the height of the door, it's obvious they're tall. The features on Baal's face are clean and sharp and as he walks in the corner of his lips are turned up in a slight smirk. He scans the area with bronze eyes, spotting a pair that looked closer to his height. His skin is pale and clean if he didn't move he might be mistaken for a porcelain doll. His hair is a smokey grey with cool undertones of blue and teals. His eyes are sharp and intimidating along with the rest of his features and build. He isn't huge, but his muscle tone isn't something that does unnoticed. He's dressed in a mainly black suit with a black tie. His shoes are black and shined. Straight behind the tall man is Arani. She's tall, at least 6 feet with her shoes, but she only measures up to a little under her brother's shoulder. Her eye color is yellow and big, her nose is upturned, she has a smaller face and her skin is fair giving her an elegant look. Her lips are bow-shaped glossed over with a light pink color. Her hair is black and done in loose curls that come about halfway down her back. She wears a short orange dress, not wanting to have to worry about tripping over a longer one as she walked, embellished with jewels and beads. She wears heels, only a few inches tall but they easily allow her to stand 6 feet tall, that start at orange on the toe part and about halfway on her foot the material goes from orange to black and continues for the rest of the shoes. The two look around for an area to walk to, preferring to get used to the surroundings before talking to anyone. As they walk further into the large room they look around at everyone with a calm, mature look, something that has turned into a habit for the two. Atra;A slim, blonde female walks in behind a male and female pair. Her hair is half pined up, french braided at the top, and the rest elegantly curls loosely. Her body language shows she's obviously nervous and uncomfortable. She fiddles with her fingers, holding her hands close to her chest, alternating between holding them over her stomach and bringing them closer to her face. She has green, sparkling eyes with small, gold-colored flecks. Her legs are long ending with grey shoes, with small, pink flowers and a grey butterfly on the straps of it. Her dress is grey and frills out at the end, small flowers cover the top half and taper down onto the skirt part. Atra walks in, her legs shaking and she wonders why she thought it'd be a good idea to go to a social event like this. She takes small steps, making her way to a less populated area in the room. She doesn't worry about everyone else in the room, instead, she worries about not making eye contact, or not letting someone catch her looking at them. Atra's DressAtra's hairBaal's SuitArani's dress

E: Big, public gatherings weren't usually E's sort of thing. These were the kinds of places assassinations and massacres took place. And all the people and voices gave her a headache. However, she was making an effort tonight. Hopefully she'd make some friends, maybe meet someone. She wore an elaborate dress of blue, the same shade as her eyes, that faded lighter the farther up you went. It was tied with silk around her waist, mostly just so she'd have a place to keep pepper spray tucked under the bow in the back. Just in case.
Rhea: As bubbly as ever, Rhea bounced into the ballroom, bright eyed and ready for a party. She took notice that she was shorter than just about everyone in the room, but her outfit was frankly hard to miss. Her dress was bright red, along with her shoes. Metal butterflies of varying sizes crept up her back and adorned her ruddy brown hair. A larger one with a ruby in the center was pinned to the front. She had bought the dress and the butterflies separately and had sewn them into the fabric herself months in advance. Parties were what Rhea lived for. Tonight was going to be special, and she knew it.
Yukio: In theory, a lot of couples would be at the ball tonight, to dance and to laugh and to have a pleasant time. Yukio was here for one reason: break those couples up. His tuxedo was black and plain — cheap, too, if one looked closely — ideally so he could blend in. Subtlety was key in this game. They'd forget him in an instant, but they'd remember his words, and doubt would trickle deep into the foundation of their relationship. Some would call Yukio cruel, but he believed himself to be doing these couples a favor, really. If they couldn't stand Yukio, they weren't meant to be. And if their relationship managed to stay intact, it would come out stronger than before. If anything, Yukio was entitled to a thank you. He stood at the door and peered into the large room. One hand went to smooth his dirt brown hair, then both flew to straighten his blue bow tie. He appeared as though he himself was preparing to meet a girl tonight. Really, he was just assessing the situation, figuring out who to approach first. Prince Nicolas looked over the party from a balcony, body guard at his side. Not many had arrived yet, so Yukio wandered over to where the food was and leaned casually against the table.

Amora: An average height woman slunk around the outskirts of the party, a dark purple liquid in her glass matches her enchanting violet eyes. The light brown skinned woman wore a tight, satin black dress decorated with glimmering triangular patterns wrapping around her trim sides. Her arms were adorned with golden rings, distracting from the obvious muscle present. The woman was obviously royal, gold strung throughout her entire outfit, even weaves throughout her thick curls. Her calculating eyes quickly picked out the two hulking figures parting the crowd. Discreetly she made her way towards them. “It’s good to see you two, though I can’t say I ever imagined you at a party like this,” She looked up at them, not in the usual admiration that other smaller people did, but like they were equals, despite difference in size.
Fjord: The tall, well muscled man walked in through the double doors, his cold red eyes sweeping the room. He knew he wasn’t particularly welcomed here....but he had received an invitation. Though to be fair he had plucked it from a dead corpse...ah technicalities. He adjusted his scarlet gloves and ran a thin hand through his stark shite hair, a sly grin on his lips. Now the party could start.

Refs: Skyla's DressBlitz's SuitSkyla:She was looking forward to the ball, for she had never been to one before but had always dreamed of it. Her dress was simple but beautiful. A long floor-length gown made from a smooth, comfortable material. It was a dark shade of blue, almost navy and had hints of black when the lights were at the right angle with a thin, glittering band at the waist. A small silvery chain sat was placed around her neck with a small pearl at the front. A brilliant shade of violet colured her shoulder-length hair bounced as she stepped lightly through the grand entrance to the building, it had simply been brushed and straightened with no extra fancy hairstyles. Her sunset eyes glimmered in the bright lighting of the room as she searched for something to do and she started to make her near the edge of the small crowd, looking for a familiar face or maybe just a friendly one. Her short stature didn't help her look through the crowd one bit and seemed to see the back of a lot of heads, but she didn't let it dampen her cheery mood. Blitz:While there was no usual danger like the sort he seeked, there was still a lot of others to talk to at this grand place. His stature was quite casual, waltzing in without a care in the world and his suit was not buttoned. He wasn't particularly tall or striking, but his features were fair and honestly he was somewhat un-memorable, only his personality would make him stand out. A white shirt, simple and surprisingly clean sat under his slightly oversized black suit. His wardrobe was undeniable the least fancy collection of clothing, so he had to go out of his way to buy one for himself. His emerald eyes searched the large gathering for some fun and decided weaving through the middle of the crowd would be a good option. His leather belt was tight, but he ignored it and walked on. Also, it turns out most of his company here was quite towering in height, so his average build and overall tallness wasn't going to cut it. He shrugged though and continued to look for a little bit of spice in the ball.

Kanga, Manaaki;The twin's eyes moved over the crowd once more. Kanga ran a hand over his hair. It was a deep auburn and blonde, slighty curly and pulled back into a (mostly) formal half-bun. The bun didn't exactly look 'lazy'; it was more formal and respectable, at least considering he tried to tame it at all. Down, Kanga's wild hair would have reached to about the middle of his neck. Manaaki watched his brother smooth out his hair, but didn't bother to fix his own—gray, clipped short, though shorter on the sides than on the top and some gel to smooth it into a respectable style. Both of them had beards, reasonably maintained, though Manaaki's was slightly moreso. Neither brother looked entirely like they wanted to move further into the party, but Kanga's soon caught sight of Prince Nicolas, and extended an open hand in silent greeting. It was his party, after all. Kanga figured he may as well be polite; at least until he wrecked something, anyway. Manaaki didn't notice Nicolas, as his eyes had found Amora as she slunk over to them. He smiled, and extended a big hand to clasp her shoulder gently, briefly—a friendly and familiar gesture. "Kanga, look who it is," He spoke without a smile, but there was a clear trace of one at the corner of his mouth. Kanga turned quickly, as if startled, but was already grinning largely. He nodded, then lifted his eyebrows to look back at the rest of the room. He had thought he had seen Fjord somewhere... Koa; The tall-figured woman (though not so tall as the majority seemed to be) turned from the counter, a hand lightly on her hip. This party hadn't quite picked up to her tastes just yet, and her feet were already sore from the ridiculous shoes she had worn. Well, half-way royals (she didn't exactly view herself as royal, though she did hold a rather political position) had to do put on some sort of show, she imagined. She glanced at her shoes in the corner, wondering if she should put them on again. Nobody had yet approached her, but that wasn't all bad. In time, she would make her own rounds of the party guests, if she felt so inclined. ((Manaaki hair reference; Kanga hair reference;

Nicolas and Edmond; The two watched as guests were quickly arriving. There were many different faces, some of which the two had never seen before. This party had been very open and general; anyone was allowed to come, whether they knew them or not. Though, there were a few faces that the boys knew. Some they knew personally, others they only knew by description. In reality, there were a few faces amongst the crowd that the two boys should be proud had came, for there were some people well-known or of importance. It would be natural to go and greet these figures first, considering it was always a good thing to be on the good side of someone important. The Prince and his guard descended down the stairs of the upper balcony, looking over the rails to try and pinpoint some of those they should speak to first. Nic had caught sight of someone, one of the upcoming Leaders in the area, standing off to the side, minding her own business. He thought that perhaps he should greet her first, but as they reached the bottom of the steps, he found himself in front of two people he had met before. The two were giants compared to the rest of the party, both in height and general size. He put his hand out as well, shaking Kanga's with a charming, princely smile. "Thank you both for coming. It's nice to see you again, " he stated. He had looked over at Ed, but Ed's eyes were locked on the girl standing near Kanga and Manaaki. The two boys seemed to know her, but Ed didn't, so he kept an eye on her. Though, this whole party was going to be difficult to manage. Ed didn't know a majority of the people who had arrived, so most of this parry served as a possible threat. He just had to hope that, because this was a party, no one would cause anything.
Nanouk; More people were starting to show up, which also meant more people she didn't know. Nanouk let out a sigh, looking around the room quickly. She had caught sight of the host and his guard walking down the steps, but she wasn't going to approach them. They likely had more important things to worry about. Plus, she had never met either of them before, so that added onto her hesitation. Surprisingly enough, she caught sight of a familiar face. As she approached, she took in the sight of the other. Stormy blue dress, brown hair, blue-green eyes, and no shoes. It seemed to fit her well. It wasn't hard to guess why she wasn't wearing shoes: she likely wore heels. She had been lucky enough that her shoes were flat but still formal, making them more comfortable than that of heels. "Koa, " she greeted simply, giving a slight bow. Koa was one of many Leaders that would likely be at this party, but she was the only one that Nanouk followed under. She did look around the room, but it was usually difficult to decide who was considered more important than the rest.
Onyx; Her red eye scanned the room briefly, being unable to really see everyone that was there. So far, she saw no one that she really recognized, but that wasn't all that bad. She did see a few faces that she had heard about before, mostly because they were Leaders, like she soon planned to be. One was off on her own with another girl, another was wandering around with a suspicious grin on his face. There actually weren't very many Leaders here, really. Though, there were likely still people who were coming to the party. Hoping to give herself a brief distraction, the fiery orange-haired girl took a small piece of meat from the buffet that resembled bacon, chewing on a piece while she waited to see if anyone else was arriving.
Valentine; It was nice to see a couple more girls had arrived at the party. A smirk formed on the handsome man's face as he tried to find someone to begin his mischief with. Though, there were many people in the room, so he would have to be a bit more discreet than usual. As he scanned the eoom, he tried to take note of anyone that was by themselves. Right away he saw a girl who was off on her own, blond hair and grey dress slightly standing out when no one else was there to stand in the way. Shuffling his hair with his hand, he then approached slowly as to not surprise her. "Hello madam, " he said with a calming voice and smile of gold, bowing down to her with one arm behind his back and the other across his stomach.
(Yup, it can be a free for all.)

"Arani and Baal;
After just a minute of scanning the room, multiple people had poured in, but there was still a large amount of space in the room and not very much noise either. Although some of the people here were hight standing in the political world and their lives mostly involved being seen in a certain way by others, Arani had expected the room to be much louder than it actually was.
With a smirk on her face, Arani sets off to find someone to keep her busy for the time being. She walks out toward the middle of the room and she looks around, turning her head to get a look at the whole room, raises her eyebrows at everyone as she searches the crowd for someone that interests her, almost like she was choosing prey carefully. There were very many people who she considered talking to although none were extremely interesting-looking. All except one man. His red eyes looked suspicious, he wore a deceitful grin and all around looked creepy to the woman.
Arani approaches the man, her steps quick and confident. She keeps a small smile plastered on her face and an eyebrow still slightly raised. "Hello." Her voice is honeyed and her small smile grows slightly after she speaks.
As for Baal, he continues to stand in his place, quiet and observant. He wasn't usually one for social events and he didn't fancy talking to anyone in the room at the moment. Instead, he watches over his sister, she's known for getting into trouble sometimes. Atra;
Atra's eyes widen at the male approaching her and her legs shake. She holds her hands together in front of her chest, keeping her body closed.
"H-H-Hello." Atra looks off to the side trying her best not to make eye contact with the man in front of her as she twiddles her fingers together to distract her from the presence in front of her as best she can. Her face turns a shade of pink from the embarrassment of being so shy in front of someone new.
It takes her a moment to realize that blood has rushed up to her face but as soon as she feels her temperature rising, her eyes widen even wider (if that's even possible) and she brings a hand up to her face to cover the lower half of it, while her other hand travels down to grab the end of the skirt of her dress. Under her breath, she mumbles 'Sorry." Not that he'll even hear her, let alone understand why she's apologizing.

Amora: Amora smiled her own charming smirk, her dark lips tilting upwards in the corners. ”It’s always a good day when I see you two.” She reached her slim fingered hand up to Manaaki’s chest and fixed the flap of his suit jacket, tugging it slightly even though it wasn’t really out of place. Her hand lingered on his chest for a split second longer than it probably should’ve, and so she turned to Kanga as she struggled to vanquish the rising blush to her cheeks. ”Got yourself any trouble lately?” She asked in her smooth, yet commanding voice. However they were politely interrupted by the host and his...bodyguard? Friend? Both? Questions that could be answered in time. She turned her deep, searching, violet gaze onto them before curtsying. ”You must be Edmond and Nicholas. It’s a wonderful venue you have here,” She commented, gaze never leaving their eyes.
Fjord: The formidable white haired man smiled wider as two women approached him. One seemed she was absolutely out to prove something, a headstrong swagger to her waltz. The other seemed that she had been pitifully dragged along. ”Good evening ladies,” He purred, gently taking each of their hands to kiss the tops as he bowed. It was only polite to do so. Fjord straightened once more, broad shoulders squared. ”Enjoying the party? It seems my date is late...” He spoke softly, a faint blush coloring his ears pink. Skia was nowhere to be found...he had asked her to the ball with ‘purely political intentions,’ but in all reality he was completely smitten with her.

Manaaki, Kanga; As Amora reached up to tidy the lapel of his jacket, Manaaki noticed that her hand lingered on his chest for the barest of seconds. His own hand was up in a flash, graceful, quick, so quick that Kanga probably didn't even notice. His large hand brushed against the back of her palm and brown-ringed eyes met violet, then Amora spoke to Kanga and Manaaki's own hand was down again, as if nothing had even happened. Kanga smirked, flashing stark-white teeth, and shrugged. His eyes were still on the larger body of the gathering. "Amora," He said in a voice that closely resembled chastising. He bent his chin enough so he would have to glance up at her, then brought a big hand up to stroke the back of his own neck. "I'm offended you'd even ask." He said, almost getting the sentence out completely before a fine-figured woman walked by and distracted him anew. Manaaki gave a little groan and flashed Amora a quick and apologetic smile, and in that moment the hosts showed up. Both twins turned and greeted them. Amora seemed not to know them. Manaaki, almost without thinking then, placed his hand gently on the small of Amora's back. "Nicolas and Edmond, my good friend Amora. And you two remember Kanga I'm sure." His hand left her back as he looked towards Kanga. The burly man was grinning through his beard. "Hi there, Nicolas. Edmond. Still the life of the party, are you, Ed?"
Koa; A voice close at hand caused Koa to turn. Bright green eyes found Nanouk, one of her trusted advisers, and she shared a smile. She reached forward to clasp Nanouk's hand as she came out of the small, formal bow. "Careful with that stuff," Koa murmured, drawing Nanouk close and offering her the drink menu. "People see you doing that, and I'll have to go get my shoes on again." As she spoke, her eyes drifted to the food table and caught sight of a rather striking gentleman in a suit with highlights of blue. She well remembered their last visit, and she also knew beyond a reasonable doubt that he was most likely here to cause a lot of trouble. Across the room, Koa's eyes also fell to a man in a white suit, with red eyes and gloves. She didn't like the look of him though, but fancied she might have recognized him as another of the Leaders, like herself. Koa cleared her throat, and turned back to Nanouk. "There's a lot of faces here tonight, aren't there?"

Skyla: Her small face searched the crowd still for someone familiar or friendly. There were a few towering giants that she would even admit scared her, though mind you, almost everyone here was a giant compared to her. A few others were scary in their own way, but for the most part everyone here seemed fine. A fine looking gentleman caught her eye. They were standing alone, watching something or someone, but she could not tell what exactly that was at this distance. The sharp features of his face make him stand out despite having no attempts at doing so and his hair tinted with multiple hues of blue. That final note wasn't what made him stand out really considering most here had an unnatural colour of some sort. There was something about him—despite his intimidating size and glare—that she found was almost friendly. Not quite welcoming but definitely not aggressive. He seemed reasonable enough, so she decided there was nothing better to do than approach him. The ends of her dress dragged across the floor a little as she walked, almost tripping her a few times if she was honest. She flicked her violet hair from her face as she approached and tucked it neatly behind both ears. "Good evening," The young woman greeted, having to tilt her head upwards to look him in the eye. "Quite the place, isn't it?" Skyla tried her best to be polite, especially in such a highly sophisticated looking place as this.
Blitz: The spice in this ball seemed non-existent. Almost everyone seemed deep I conversation or far too high-classed for his tastes. Despite being not so informed, he recognised the important faces of Leaders within the crowd. Of course he didn't have any intentions talking to them, he would never be anything of interest to them. As much he'd love to chill and chat, there seemed to be no-one here to do that with him. He sighed but made sure not to give up completely. There had to be something going his way tonight. He decided to take a quick snack break, slipping a small cupcake into his mouth. A younger male was leaning against the table, he was casual as one could get in Blitz's opinion and his eyes looked as if he was simply looking over the crowd, but not engaging in conversation. He left him be and continued to pluck an occasional piece of food from the table.
