Nanouk; The pale-skinned girl accepted the menu, allowing herself to chuckle at Koa's comment about getting her shoes on again. "That's why you don't wear heels." She lightly shuffled her feet and flat shoes, knowing that they were comfortable now but would likely be a pain later on in the night. She scanned over the drink menu, but didn't really see anything in particular that caught her interest. She wasn't really much of a drinker, so many of the fancy alcoholic drinks didn't appeal to her. She then heard her Leader's comment about there being a lot of faces and looked up from the menu, scanning the room for a moment. "Not many that I know." For a moment, one face in particular crossed her mind. She was almost hopeful that he would be there, but she didn't see him anywhere, so she didn't allow her hopes to grow too much.
Valentine; Pure embarrassment seemed to cross the girl's face, though he wasn't quite sure why. That was what was so intriguing about girls, though: trying to figure out why they acted they way they did. A smile went across his face, one that was kind and thoughtful. "It is alright. You don't have to be so embarrassed." She looked at her from bottom to top for a moment, taking in her appearance now that he was closer. Blonde hair, frilly gray dress, gray shoes, and what he thought he saw as green eyes. "If I may, you look quite stunning in that dress."
Nicolas and Edmond; As the four were speaking, the girl that had joined them turned and addressed the two boys as well. Nicolas took note that she seemed to know Kanga and Manaaki personally, which likely meant she wasn't anyone they had to worry about causing any trouble. Both of the boys slightly bowed, Ed doing so somewhat more than Nic did since he was a guard and had to show more respect to the guests. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Amora." At her comment about the venue, Nic looked around the room a moment before his eyes returned to her. "Thank you. It truly belongs to my father, but he is out of town, so I am in charge of things for now." He then glanced between her and Manaaki, detecting a hint of something, though he wasn't quite sure what. There was just something there that showed that the two of them, if not all three, were close. "If none of you mind me asking, how do you all know each other?"
Onyx; Having remained generally near the buffet since she arrived, the orange-haired young woman took note of two boys who had also walked over to the table. One was merely leaning against it, seeming to watch over the party from a distance, while she saw the other sneak a cupcake, as well as other small pieces of food, into his mouth. She didn't actually know either of them, but she could slightly see the personality distance between them just from watching their actions.

((Since Baal & Arani are separate now, it's awkward to write them in one little section, so I hope it's not too confusing for me to split their posts up!))
Baal;
Baal was less distracted by Arani wandering off to most likely cause trouble somewhere else by a female, much shorter than him, walking in his direction. She seemed to walk in a bit of a clumsy fashion, she obviously was not used to wearing dresses like the one she wore now. It's long, navy blue skirt almost made it's way under her feet a few times, but luckily, she managed to keep her dress out of contact with her shoes.
As she approached she tucked a few strands her purple-hued hair neatly behind her ears. Baal smiles at her in order to be less serious and stern looking. "Good evening," Her voice was friendly but seemed to be coated with a sort of awkwardness, like she was trying to seem more formal than she actually was, for the sake of the occasion. The small-framed woman manages to meet his eyes with hers by, literally, looking up at him. She comments on the venue and to be honest, Baal wasn't used to being in a room as grand as this one.
"Yes. It is quite grand, isn't it?" Baal pauses a moment realizing he forgot to make an introduction, "Oh, my apologies, I've almost forgotten my manners. It's nice to meet you, The tall man grabs the woman's hand gently, placing a kiss on top of it as a polite greeting, "I'm Baal, and who might you be?"
Arani;
Arani smiles at the man and sends a small nod of her head to him as a small bow back, "Good evening to you too. I'm enjoying myself just fine. I hope your date arrives soon. I wouldn't want a date being late to spoil your mood." Arani catches the small blush on the man's face and her smile widens more. He undoubtedly loved whoever he was talking about. How sweet.
"Mind me asking what brought you here?" In all honesty, most reasons would be more interesting than why she's here. Her brother wanted her to come, so she did. It was as simple as that.
Atra;
She could feel his eyes burning holed into her. Although it was common for her to feel this way with anyone looking at her, it felt like she might really catch fire at any moment. She tries to keep her head down as she knows her face is burning with a shade of bright red. She doesn't need to feel embarrassed. She knew that, but everything she did that had anything to do with social interaction including new people, no matter how big or small, a simple glance could cause her to feel self-conscious. Then, to tie up her extreme embarrassment and all with a little bow, he throws one little compliment in, "If I may, you look quite stunning in that dress."
That little compliment is at the same time, something that makes her happy, but also terrifies her. It's been years since she's received a compliment, and receiving one was much scarier than it should be. Her stutter ends up becoming worse than normal, although it is already bad "T-T-Thank y-you..." The smaller, blonde woman can't say anything more instead she continues trying to avoid contact, attempting to hide her face further as it's gotten much more red from the compliment.

Kailypso:
Wow - this was going to be the funnest night of her life.
Whoop-de-freakin'-do.
Where had her invitation even come from? She was a young adult living in a shaggy little apartment on the very outskirts of town and one day a rich, cream-colored paper had come to her door. What the (words that would likely not be proper at this social gathering) did she do to deserve this? Despite her dislike for crowds, curiosity had won out. If nothing else, she'd get a free dinner tonight - she wasn't destitute by any means, but that didn't mean she wouldn't seize an opportunity when it presented itself. She wasn't so bad off really - not for some detective-work to figure out where that (another improperly colorful adjective) invite had come from and why. Detective work was so much easier to do when one fit so easily into the crowd - neatly meeting the 5'05" mark on any height-meter if she combed her hair right.
Speaking of her hair, it had been brushed to a gleaming, burning copper perfection an hour ago - now it was back to it's typical ruffled texture - slightly mussed and agitated at the ends, only reaching down to the middle of her neck in the back and shorter towards the front - shorn disgracefully short by her own handiwork. She was a hot mess and knew it, but what the heck, huh? Two miniature plaits decorated the right side and pixie-style bangs in need of a trim were brushed over to the same side. Her color was unevenly tanned - clearly gained naturally from too many days in the sun and too many sunburns fading into a new scar over all her skin. However her cheeks - though not plump or sculpted - were rosy, her nails were chapped and short but clean and her piercing golden eyes (what she'd been told were her most attractive and striking feature) were clear and intently scanning the crowd.
The blouse was a peculiar burnt gold in hue (how was she to know the color would change if she washed it with something orange?) but not necessarily unattractive with a white tank-top covering her where the v-neck dipped too low and ruffled cap sleeves that failed to hug her skinny arms the way they were supposed to, though it did almost hide the way her right arm hung unevenly and lower than her dominant left. Unruly, childish freckles matched the dull, dusty hue of her knee-length skirt, and she'd forgone shoes - none of the ones she'd had matched and the ones she'd tried on did not fit her hardened feet comfortably. One silver band on her right ring-finger was all the jewelry she had to her name and now seemed an appropriate time to wear it.
She ducked through the crowd to the refreshment table - good golly gosh! What was all this? She didn't recognize any of it. Was it even food? One tall, dark woman had some of the rich purple liquid in a large, crystal bowl in a wine glass. She wasn't here to get hung-over, she was here to eat and get some answers. Well - maybe not eat, not if she couldn't even identify her meal.
A tall, lightly-muscled man next to her was also eying the servings. "Some spread huh?" she asked, eying his blue tie and cheap suit with hesitant trust - someone else who wasn't too excited about being here; someone she could relate to. Thank goodness - maybe he could tell her what was edible and who the hosts were.

Imma just pop in here, Celest and Alioth are from before they came to the Valley so Cele is a bit different )) Celestiel and AliothAn elegant, slender, but sharp looking woman strides into the ball. She has cerulean, blue hair with white accents that is tied up in a braided bun and the same shade of eyes to match. She doesn't exactly make an entrance per say, but she oozes the confidence and nobility of someone that is wealthy or of royal blood. Her dress is near the same color as her hair and eyes, the most eye-catching thing about it is the many, many rhinestones that cover almost every inch of the fabric; making the dress glitter brilliantly in the light. A very tall and bulky man with deep blue hair tipped with dark purple and streaked with the same white as the woman accompanies her. His eyes are a most strange light blue ringed with purple. The tux he wears is the same deep purple that tips his hair, the flower clipped to his lapel a light blue. There are also quite a few rhinestones dotting parts of his coat, though, not as much as the woman's dress. "Cele, did we really have to come to this?" He adjusts his cufflinks rather uncomfortably. Parties have never been his thing. "Dear brother, please do refrain from calling me by nicknames. Celestiel, or sister is fine. Also, we are both to be the heads of the company once father and mother pass, you must get used to extravagant parties such as this, there will be a lot." Celest sighs, she will never understand her brother's unwillingness to party. They are excellent ways to get new stockholders... and listen to gossip. Of course, all the whispers that roam around halls such as this like a secretive game of telephone must be taken with a grain of salt. Though, it is quite fun to let something slip and see how it travels, what mischief one can stir. That is, of course, Celestiel's favorite part of any social gathering. "Sister, I know that face, please don't try to start a fight with any rival companies that may be here." Alioth frowns. He loves his sister, but she can get out of hand with her pranks at times. "If they are too busy tearing each other apart, then they can't focus on us, and we get their customers." The small woman shrugs, then smiles a devious little smile. She is only doing this to mess with her brother, he's far too gullible for his own good. "Plus, a prince held this ball remember. I think I'd rather set my sites on that prize than the mere fighting of our rivals. Think of the benefits. " She abruptly turns and begins to make her way through the crowd. Perhaps Alioth doesn't like parties because she is always playing tricks. If that is the case, oh well, it's far too fun for her to just stop. She makes her way to a corner of the room, beginning to scope it out for possibilities. "No Celest, absolutely not, don't you dare even try to start a war- where are you going?! Cel- ugh." The mix of mischievous intent and ambition in his sister always overwhelms and somewhat scares Alioth. She honestly is best fit to run the company, not the both of them, but their mother insists. He sighs and runs a hand through his hair. Celest is right though, he'll have to get used to this. He looks around, trying to spot his sister. Despite her sparkly dress, she's a master at slipping through crowds and becoming unnoticed. Hopefully, she was just pulling his leg about messing with the prince thing because he can't spot her.

Koa;Nanouk gave her a rueful smile, then drew attention to her own flats. Koa nodded in agreement, though knew in her mind that flats often gave her even worse blisters than heels. She blew a strand of brown hair off her face, then sighed to herself as Nanouk admitted she didn't know many people, either. "Should we introduce ourselves to somebody, then?" She mused, somewhat to herself and somewhat to Nanouk. Minty eyes scanned the event. Two striking men, a good head taller than anybody else around them, caught her eye—but they seemed involved already, with the hosts no less. She looked around some more, until her eyes fell to Yukio. Blast whatever she had thought before, he was always good for a laugh. Besides, in her satin stormy-blue dress and with her rich brown hair pulled back into a loose bun, she looked quite fine—it would be a shame to waste the look on strangers. He was at the food table, of course, probably waiting to pounce on some unsuspecting woman that would quickly find herself in an in-depth conversation that would inevitably end up with her feeling foolish. "I'm going to go and introduce myself," Koa said to Nanouk, neither inviting nor telling her she couldn't come. Koa approached the food table as well, keeping her eyes down gracefully, and stopping somewhere across from Yukio. She picked at one or two things, hiding a smile and waiting for him to call her out on trying to be noticed. Kanga;Kanga smile when Nic explained that the house was his father's, but that he was out of town. A little old for 'parents are gone' parties, weren't they? He snickered to himself. Certainly not. "Well," He said in his rich voice and lightly accented words. "I don't think this bunch will trash the place, so I imagine that pops will never know." He winked, a smile crinkling the edges of his auburn beard. He fully believed that Nicolas had express permission to have the gathering, but pretending the latter was true was always fun. Amora seemed relatively quiet beside them, and one quick glance told Kanga that it could have been because Manaaki's hand was gently along her back. He wondered if and when anything would ever happen between them. He knew they hadn't had a formal discussion about it yet, but Kanga was getting impatient. Frankly he didn't care either way, but this in-between nonsense was killing him. "We are but humble subjects of Miss Amora's dear mother," He hesitated, then quirked one brow. His words weren't said with a sarcastic air—indeed, they sounded very polite and proper; however, coming from Kanga, one could never be too sure. "I guess you could say we spend time around her to be seen." Another ridiculous statement, as somebody would have to be blind to miss them. He turned and grinned stupidly at Amora, knowing his words would grate on her nerves. ((Considering Shiv hasn't replied with Amora yet, I figure Manaaki wouldn't have much else to say. @shiver Tiel ))

((Gonna pop another Wolfie in here as I haven't played her in a while))
Venus:
"Why hello," a smooth, feminine purr - the one she'd mastered after years of practice fell from her thin, blood-red lips, curved in a perpetual, enigmatic smile. Fair skinned - platinum blond hair and ghostly blue eyes. She was proud of her height and build, falling nicely in with the other tall, slender women at the gathering. So many attractive, powerful social elitists - it was taking some work to keep up, but she felt she had something to set her apart, maybe a few.
Her wispy hair had been eased into a lush, but tight curtain falling down to her bare shoulders. Spaghetti straps held up the devil-violet gown that hid her feet, elegantly clad in impractical, but beautifully crafted heeled shoes - she was no stranger to heels, she'd gotten to be pretty good at walking in them. It wasn't for the height, it was the make-shift weapon in the dagger sharp rear of the heels and the pointed toes - except these were sandals, no double-bladed shoes tonight. Dark eye shadow - more tastefully applied than any woman had business doing (makeup could be such a waste of time, but done correctly it could be a well-spent investment) made her lashes look longer and thicker than normal and hopefully distracted from the faint scar on the bridge of her proud, fine nose. The scar was the one thing that marred the picture, but there were ways around such obstacles. The red viper tattoo between her naked shoulder blades looked exotic and unusual and wouldn't be easily recognized - it was from a long way from here, all anyone here knew was that it was different, and that was all she wanted - to make an impression or two and to be different.
The man's date had just left him, now was an opportune time to snag a partner for a conversation. "Alioth isn't it?" she smiled disarmingly, pale, heartless blue eyes looking him up and down. He was tall, dark-haired, a violet tuxedo - someone else perhaps out to make an impression this evening. No, look at that face - he loathed being here. She could work with that, "Getting rather crowded, isn't it?" she could see some of those Secluded Sunrise scum congregating and speaking with their hosts. ...She knew she'd seen Fjord somewhere - ah, there he was, speaking with two or three women who seemed to have been attending alone. Of course, officially she was there to support him, but who said she couldn't have a bit of fun while she was there? She'd catch his eye and make a report later, for now she wanted to play with this poor newcomer...
Kailypso:
A tall, richly-clad woman stepped across the table and smiled disarmingly at her. What? No, no, she wasn't looking at her. She was smiling at the man in the cheap suit she'd attempted to start a conversation with. Oh fine - so she was bad at starting things! Sure, maybe she wasn't hungry. She'd come back later, it was getting claustrophobic at the table, there were too many clouds and schemes building and she didn't want to be around when the clouds burst. She quietly stepped away and began looking around. There were a lot of elitists tonight - and she felt rather shabby in a blouse and skirt and bare feet - maybe coming hadn't been such a good idea.
She looked up - not a difficult thing to do - in order to see many people's faces she had to look up anyway, she'd gotten into the habit ages ago and spotted a familiar - no, three familiar faces! Yes! The awkwardness could end! She wouldn't be miserable tonight! Forget the food, she found a conduit for answers. Tall, proud, Crooked Smile Kanga was all slicked up in a tux - a dark auburn - did they make auburn tuxedoes? Ah what the heck, who cared? Kanga was there! Manaaki stood poised and refined beside him, his hand on Amora's back. Wait...ooooh, maybe Kanga hadn't let on as much as she'd thought when he'd said that the two were forming some sort of relationship. That gesture seemed a bit more intimate and protective than one might have expected at such a public gathering. She began weaving and ducking through the crowd to reach them - answers and assurance at last.
She paused a few steps outside of their circle - they were talking with two gentlemen with bodyguards. Their hosts? Maybe - in any case she didn't want to interrupt and she needed a minute to think of some tactful way to ask about her invitation so she wouldn't sound ungrateful.

Yukio:
Had Yukio not seen her come in? Or had Koa always been standing there? She looked so different all dressed up for the party, satin hem resting delicately below her collarbone, vine embroidery sweeping up and around her figure, elegantly, regally, expensively. Yukio was suddenly very aware of how little his own getup had cost him.
Koa’s dark eyelashes fluttered, gaze cast purposefully down upon her hands. Yukio’s eyes honed in on her mouth, a straight, emotionless line. But then, once, for a mere second, the corner of her lips twitched. Ah-ha. A grin spread over Yukio’s face.
“You again. I guess the party’s ruined, now.” But he couldn't contain his delight. When he tried, his smile only widened. He folded his hands and leaned casually against the table. “You're really interested in that cake, aren't you?” He gestured to the miniature cake she was holding and staring at intensely.

Misty had gotten her elegant dress on, then rushed into the ballroom. While there, she saw a wolf looking exactly like Lily. Then she realised she had left her wallet at home. Oh joy. Maybe it was best to stay away from the dancing.

Burnice; Burnice noticed the ballroom " Eeeee! a ballroom!" she jumped with joy and rushed into the ballroom. Burnice wore her beautiful dress and smiled, her long blonde pigtails were over her shoulder and her bright aqua blue eyes gleamed when she looked up at the roof. She looked around the ballroom and walked up to a nearby table " Ooo cake!" Burnice grabbed a slice and smiled softly. Although she still wasn't finished with her cake, she looked around once more and saw people dancing " Gasp!" Burnice's heart beated fast so excited, she put her slice of cake down and rushed to the dance floor and started dancing with a big, soft smile on her face. Burnice's Dress

Kenny:
A tall white male with jet black hair (and white hair tips) entered the ballroom. He adjusted his bow tie and his sliver eyes looked around the ball room "Oh, I see many people here." Kenny smiled as he leaned against the wall. He looked at his expensive suit knowing he doesn't get expensive things often, Kenny had a grey tuxedo with a black bow tie. Kenny's hair blew a little as he felt some air conditioner "Cool." he gave a small closed mouth smile and chuckled barely.
Kenny slowly walked around the ball room and saw fruit punch at a table "Whaaaaat?" his eyes widen from excitement then ran up to the table and grabbed the bowl of fruit punch then drank it, which was very unclassy of him but he was out of his mind at that moment.

((Mmmmeh- @deadlydeva))
Burnice;
She looked around, she saw a male with black hair and white tips at the end of it. He was drinking a bowl of fruit punch, just gulping it all down, she raised her brow slightly What..the.. Burnice shook her head before slowly walking up to the male "Hi there!" she said not too loud so that she wouldn't startle the guy "I'm Burnice, pleased to meet you." she grabbed her dress a little then bowed like what a fancy lady would do. Burnice smiled at the male, he was much taller than her, typical everybody is taller than her. She giggled a little, her blonde locks on her face as always, she looked at the male slightly before giggling again "You got some punch on your tux there."

(totally forgot about this >XD)
Kenny;
As he was gulping the fruit punch all down, he nearly choked on it because a female said "Hi there!" although it was not loud he was still surprised "Gah!" he said placing the bowl down and facing the female "Oh h-hey there!" he looked down at his tux and groaned 'You've got to be kidding me...' he murmured to himself. Kenny looked around to find some napkins or something to clean the mess that he made but so far, no luck "Heya Burnice, I'm um... Kenny.. or.. Benny... I-I got a lot of names so you could call me whatever the heck you want." Burnice giggled and said he had some mess on his tux. Kenny groaned again "Man, this was an expensive tux, the first tux i've ever owned that is expensive!" he face palmed himself ''Aye, I'm very devo right now..'' (devastated), but then chuckled "Aye, you're awfully pretty, I like that blonde hair of yours heaps, mate. Ah yes, defo. " (Defo=Definitely) having an australian accent was fun for Kenny, since he was half aussie. Hopefully she could understand what he was saying "What you doing S'arvo?" (S'arvo=this afternoon) he asked Burnice as he slightly tilted his head.

(ooo, I like the slang >XD)
Burnice;
Kenny was speaking quite strange to Burnice, but she shrugged and just went along with it "Well, nice to meet you umm, Benny." she smiled to the male, then she heard Kenny groan and saying something about his expensive tuxedo "Here, this probably won't help much." Burnice passed his a few napkins to wipe himself. Then he mentioned her being pretty and how he likes her blonde hair "Aww thank you! that's so sweet!" when he said 'heaps' she didn't really understand it but she only assumed that it meant something good.
"What you doing S'arvo?"
Burnice's eyes widen slightly and she thought for a minute, she sort of had a hard time on understanding his slang "Umm, Oh! I'm not doing much, I'm just here to dance or chat." she giggled again "Are you from australia?" she tilted her head then looked down at her white stockings which one of them were messed up "Oh dear." she fixed it then looked at Kenny again.

(Thank youuuu ^^)
Kenny;
Burnice called him "Benny" which nothing was wrong with that, he did say after all that she could call him whatever she wanted. Then the blonde female passed him a napkin "Thanks Mate. But I think I'll pass." he chuckled nervously a little, she thanked him for calling her pretty and he just smiled. But after a minute Burnice looked a bit confused, maybe it was because of his slang. But then she seemed to have understood it, then she asked if he was from australia, he chuckled because most australians dont say "australia" "Well, no. I'm not from Straya, but my father is, my mother is french. I don't speak like this unless I want to, I can have an american accent and sound heaps well." Kenny said still chuckling.
He cleared his throat and smiled "How's this? I can sound like I was born and Raised here, well, I actually was but that story os very complicated. I can speak any language, really, just ask me to speak a certain language and I'll speak it perfectly." Kenny put his hand behind his back and smiled at Burnice.
