Kenny looked up at the sky and breathed in the fresh air, he sighed and closed his eyes enjoying this peaceful day. His ears flickered and tail swaying side to side and his nose twitched a little. Kenny had been thinking of joining a pack and not just any pack, a good pack. This would teach Kenny how to be more responsible with himself and others and maybe learn how to even hunt better. Kenny walked around circles and circles just thinking and thinking of how to be more responsible and be a better hunter, Kenny stopped and stared at the ground with a serious look to his face "I think it's about time," he said "for me to get serious." He glared at the ground then looked in front of him and then he sighed quietly.

Baal;

The beautiful day provided a sky clear of any clouds and the sun was high in the air. The spots of sun that broke through the canopy of the tree's spotted the forest floor, making the green grass more vibrant. The autumn weather allows for a cooler, but not bone-chilling temperature. The leaves in the forest are slowly starting to take on various reds, oranges, and browns, giving the forest a warm, calming feel.

Baal slowly makes his way through the forest, taking his time to enjoy the surrounding scenery until his sharp nose catches the scent of another male wolf. The stormy-pelted male's dark blue ears shoot up, searching for any noise that comes from the direction of the scent and with slow steps, Baal moves toward the other wolf.

It isn't long before he spots a black and white male with silver eyes, almost making it seem like he's blind, but his mannerisms prove otherwise. "I think it's about time for me to get serious." Baal's head tilts and he slowly walks out into the clearing where the other male stands. "Hello there." Baal's voice is calm and warm making him seem extremely friendly and approachable, which contradicts his looks completely. He easily stands much taller than the other male before him and his features give off a serious tone, his eyes sharp and intimidating with a constant confident and aware glint, almost making it seem as though his coppery-colored eyes can see every imperfection in anything. "Do you mind if I ask what you wish to get serious about?" Even though his voice is welcoming, he keeps his guard up. So far, he hasn't had a run in with any wolves, but who knows when that day might come.

Kenny;

Lifting his paw and tilting his head, Kenny looked at the very tall wolf. The wolf looked intimidating indeed but Kenny was not going to let fear get in his mind and scare him "Hi" Kenny said in a calm soft tone while his ears flickered once again. "Do you mind if I ask what you wish to get serious about?" He heard the male say "Why, I wish to get serious on my hunting really," He said "I have a problem with being loud sometimes and that seems to make my prey flee. But I feel like i'm getting better, just not good enough though.." Kenny looked down and the wind blew his pelt a little.

His eyes were glowing slightly and he looked back up "Do you mind if I ask your name?" Kenny's right ear went down and he barely tilted his head in curiosity "My name is Kenny, but you can call me Ken." Kenny was friendly and approachable and he loved meeting new people "Although I have many names, so you can call me whatever you want really."

Baal;

Finally, after a moment of listening to Kenny introduce himself, a smile adorns Baal's sharp features, softening his look quite drastically.

"Ahh, I see. My name is Baal. We all have things we wish to be better at, including many things I wish to improve on myself, but that's also a perfect chance to expand your horizons. Search for something you might enjoy or even be good at from the beginning.

It wasn't unlike Baal to become a bit philosophical in everyday situations when he's giving someone advice or explaining something, that's just one of his special little quirks that makes him different from the rest and could potentially set him apart from the pack leaders who currently occupy the valley, which he wishes to be one day.

"Do you think you have anything in mind of how you want to improve? It'd be interesting to get some insight on how others try to better themselves as we all do it much differently from the rest." Baal takes a seat with his tail resting beside him and his ears are up, listening closely to what Kenny has to say, trying to pick out the different emotions in his voice. One of the things Baal wishes to become better in is reading wolf emotions and understanding them much better, so going around to meet new characters is something Baal never turns his nose up to.

"Do I have anything in mind? Yes, yes I do. I try to get my friend over and practice with her, I practice by sneaking up on her, trying to be as quiet as possible and she would tell me if I'm quiet or not." Kenny simply smiled when he thought of his friend, he loved her dearly and appreciates her trying to help out when she can. "If I don't have her to practice on, then I will try to practice by myself with small animals first." Kenny had a serious look once more but for some weird reason he had low self esteem and his eyes lowered barely.

Kenny shook his head and gained little confidence "I also practice by simply not talking for a few minuets, then hours, I do this because I might be much quieter on hunting." Kenny's right ear lowered and he smiled once again "The only thing I'm good at is swimming and hunting fish." he laughed a little.

Baal;

Baal watches Kenny closely, examining his changing expressions, which he has a lot of, with a small, warm smile plastered on his maw. The stormy-blue-pelted male listens closely to the other male speak about his past friend and his expression becomes light and cheery, in response, Baal's smile also grows, his eyes squinting slightly in the process.

"Ahh, I see. Well, there aren't many others that I know who are good at hunting fish. I, myself, am not the best at hunting, neither fish nor prey on land. So, you are quite strong in hunting, you just need to accept that you're hunting style is different from other wolves. Plus, I'm sure you're good at much more than just swimming and hunting fish," Baal shifts his weight onto his other side as his warm, silvery voice continues leaving his throat, "Because you're good at swimming and hunting under the water, that probably allows you to be good at other things. You're probably strong because you're good at swimming. You might also have a lot of endurance as well. Try to apply these things when you hunt."

Baal's sharp features which are usually intimidating, have strangely become welcoming and friendly.

"Give yourself some time to think about it and understand what you're good at, then use those things while you're practicing doing something you're not as good at. It might help. Also, I have no problem with helping you a bit, although I'm not the best wolf to help with hunting, I should be able to provide some support."

Kenny smiled and said "I would love support! Thanks Baal." he was excited for a moment and his voice got loud. Kenny's eyes widen and smiled nervously "Heh, sorry" Kenny apologized but then had a smile on his face "I thank you for your advice and I will definitely take it. You know what? You seem like you would make a great leader someday!" Kenny's smile widen and both his ears went down.

His tail was wagging slowly sideways and Kenny looked at Baal wondering what would Baal say or what might his expression be when Kenny said "You seem like you would make a great leader someday!"

Baal;

"I thank you for your advice and I will definitely take it. You know what? You seem like you would make a great leader someday!"

A small upturn of Baal's lips grace his sharp features at Kenny's words. How ironic is it that Baal had just intended to become one of the valley's leaders. Of course, he understood that you need the right personality, which he already was confident in, but he also knew he needed followers to allow him to lead. Hearing the words, "you'll be a great leader," from someone else really did make him feel like his chances of claiming a territory of his own to house his pack heightened.

"Actually, it's funny that you say that. I have been planning to start a pack of my own." Baal takes a deep breath, taking in the crisp, cool autumn air, then quickly reverting back to his usual friendly smile.

"A good pack. I want to make a safe home for wolves with good hearts." He might describe his dream as having a safe haven for good souls who are gifted, not with powers necessarily, but with kindness and fighting spirit. Shivers run down Baal's spine at the happy feeling from thinking about his future pack and his eyes light up, sparkling with determination and confidence.

"A good pack? Thats funny that you said that also. I myself have been thinking of joining a pack, a good pack for that matter and since I think you would make a great leader," Kenny smiled and his tail wagged pretty fast "I would be honored to call you alpha." he lowered his body bowing his head like he was calling Baal leader.

"Whatever you may need, Kenny here is at your service!" Kenny chuckled and slowly lifted his head up as his eyes were once again glowing as he also looked up at the beautiful bright sky. Kenny looked at Baal and tilted his head slowly "That is, if I do join your pack. As in, if you'll allow me?" Kenny was eager to know Baal's answer "Ahhh I almost forgot to mention, I bet the moment you first saw me you thought I was blind correct? well, I take that to my advantage when I need to fight other wolves. See, other wolves would think they have the advantage but its really me who has it. I wait until they get close enough, then BAM! I got 'em right where I want 'em." Kenny did a soft chuckle once more then did a quick sigh of relief almost forgetting the question Kenny had asked just moments ago, poor Kenny.

Baal;

As Kenny lowers his head, Baal shakes his own.

"No need to bow. Although, I do, in fact, need your help. You see, I need to claim a territory to house a pack and I can't do that by myself. And yes, that does help explain what's happening with your eyes." Baal nods his head toward Kenny. Of course, Kenny seems a bit hyperactive, almost too much for Baal, he would be a friendly face for the pack, and would definitely bring spirit to the area.

Baal's smile only grows as he thinks more about the future pack, a picture put together in his mind. One in which Kenny is included in, along with other friendly wolves. All that's left now is pulling together the few others needed to find a territory to call their own. Thanks to Kenny, Baal just got one step closer to completing his dream, making it a reality. "Thank you, Kenny. Of course, you're allowed to become a part of this pack, our pack. Now, you'll know when it's time to make this dream a reality. In the near future, I'll bring together everyone to finally claim a territory."

With that being said, Baal turns and starts to make his way out of the small clearing.

"Goodbye for now. See you soon."

Baal disappears into the vegetation surrounding the black and white pelted wolf that had now been left alone with the new invitation to join the pack along with other wolves that Baal had just set out to find.

Kenny;

Kenny smiled brightly when he heard Baal say this, he was wagging his tail mighty fast and his ears and nose started twitching "WOW! I-I get to join a pack! YAY!" Kenny was so excited that his vision became blurry "Uh-oh, to excited. You need to calm down Ken!" he took a few deep breaths and finally calmed down "Right then, I better get on my way! and start believing in myself."

Kenny breathed in the cool fresh air one last time before turning his back and walking away out of the clearing "I'll do my best... Better than what i've ever done!" Kenny gained more confidence thanks to Baal.
