Felan;
Felan made quick work of scaling the slopes of the mountain, her huge tail working as a lever to balance out her weight when she leaped. A freshly caught hare dangled from her mouth, an offering for Sheba. She hadn't really known if immortal wolves stopped to eat; it wasn't like she'd ever heard of them coming down from the caves to hunt. The small wolf could faintly recall the tales her mother told her; of the four wolves that dwelled within the mouth of the cave openings.
Sheba probably had other means of getting nourishment. Not that she thought she would even want it; but nonetheless she'd caught her something. A gift of sort. Though she hadn't wanted it to come off as a bride or anything; surely what she was searching for was worth way more than a hare. That thought hadn't even crossed her mind; this was a gesture of goodwill. Even if she didn't get anything out of it in return. Felan knew that if her mother came to request a few moments with the goddess; that she wouldn't come empty handed.
Reaching the top of the caves opening; Felan let the hare fall carelessly from her open mouth. The tips of her golden ears twitched; head tilting in curiosity while peering inside the cave. Would Sheba be slighted if she just entered; or maybe a howl was more respectful? She didn't feel up to invoking the powerful wolf’s wrath; she shook her head at the thought of it, lips curling up into a mischievous grin. There had also been more stories told; ones with disrespectful wolves that didn't end well.
The summer heat felt good against her back; the she-wolf’s colorful pelt was warmed by it's rays. For a moment she sits, breathing in the crisp air of the summer heat. She hadn't stopped, her intentions to get to the top had her pushing past the exhaustion she'd felt. A sigh fell from her as she suddenly stood tall tail rising; if she was gonna summon the wolf. She wouldn't accomplish it by sitting around.
Lifting her head Felan breathe in before howling into the cave.
