Tempest
((Sorry I've been gone for so long! School started back in the beginning of August for me! We've already finished the first quarter.))
The grueling summer sun bore down unto the valley. It revealed a particularly lost wolf, purple and grey, that looked like electricity. The wolf hopped from to and fro, not knowing what to do today. 'It's almost Autumn, isn't it?' It thought, stopping for a second to examine a wilted, brown leaf. It was probably carried over by the wind, because there was barely any tree in sight. This wolf didn't remarkably care to much about how the cycle of life works, the change of seasons, or even how pups were made. She just paid attention to what was in front of her. It being murder, or a deer. She just skipped along a path, not having a destination in mind, and bobbed her head to a tune that doesn't even sound good.
Ah, summer. Tempest's least favorite of all the seasons. Why? Because of the heat unpleasantly poking her with it's rays of light. She tried asking very politely for it to stop, but the sun just kept on poking and poking and poking. And she didn't even have that thick of a coat! The sun just hated her. And it hated her guts, like Ayre. You know, the sun is like Ayre's twin, not Tempest. She didn't even know where she was going or what she was doing, other than complaining about the dang sun. Her gut said, 'Hey, you know what we could do instead of sleeping all day like you wanted to? We could follow this untrustworthy path leading to probably nowhere!' And her mind said, 'I could honestly care less.' So guess where Tempest is now... Yep! Following her gut. (In her opinion, the gut is the sketchy one.)
Tempest hummed down the path, which coincidentally lead to a cave that looked not totally abandoned. She flicked her tail one way, then another. "This totally doesn't seem like a bad idea!" Tempest exclaimed. It was hard to tell if it's a joke with Tempest, even for her. She stopped in front of the yawning cave and tilted her head in a I-can't-see-at-all kind of way. Then she peered gently into the cave, searching for signs of inhabitance. She couldn't find any, so Tempest shrugged and entered. She smiled and called out, "HellllloooooOOOOO?" in a weird way, to which she giggled. 'I'm so... quirky.' Tempest thought. Then she remembered just then that she left her brother to worry. 'Oh well. I'm not marching down this darn mountain again because Ayre's going to flip. I actually don't want to be there when that happens.'
Tempest finally sat down in the entrance of the cave, giggling at her own wild thoughts.
