Spica;
Spica had roamed these parts now for a good month and a half, and everything was beginning to look the same; this twisted, dwarf-of-a-tree looked exactly the same as that twisted, dwarf-of-a-tree... and it was beginning to get tedious. 'Haven't had a morsel to eat in ages" the young wolf lamented to himself, keeping his head low as he traversed the arid landscape. Part of him hoped that a mouse might scuttle out from the foliage, but alas, the rest of him knew that such a miracle would not likely befall him. Yet, no matter how his shrinking stomach protested and complained, the greatest hunger was within Spica's withering heart; he hadn't seen another wolf in so many moons, now. Loneliness was taking it's grave toll. A sigh grew in his chest, and Spica's wide lopes came to a slow halt. It was one of those moments of despair in which hope decides to tease you with it's whispers. He raised his head, and scanned the horizon for something, anything. "Not...a...morsel."

Noctis;
There it was again. Against the pale sky, it was hard to discern, but sure enough, there it was: the shape, moving slowly, weaving between the shrubs. That blue-grey shape. Noctis' eyes narrowed as he tried to focus in on who, or what it might be. "Damned eyesight."He muttered, his jaw tightening in frustration, "It would help if the damned thing would hold... still." As if by request, the shape in the distance came to a stop and Noctis finally got a good look at it. Was it prey? No, surely nothing with ears, -or rather, what he thought were ears, -like that could be herbivorous. So then what? Was it another wolf? Living out here? With nothing to eat? The grumble in Noctis' gut reminded him that living out here with nothing to eat was something that some people, including himself, seemed to do sometimes. "Hey!" He called, waiting, poised cautiously, for the response.

Spica;
What the hell was that? It felt as if a boulder had dropped inside of Spica's lungs. His magenta eyes flew open and he spun around with such an urgency that he almost went tumbling head-over-heels, long, spindly legs flailing beneath him. His heart was in overdrive, and his ears had a roaring within them. What... the HELL...was that? He reiterated within his clouded mind. A few moments went by, and it felt as though an eternity passed between each. "Uhh... what is it?"The young wolf called, his voice breaking in the middle. You're such a damn idiot. He hissed at himself. Spica's gaze was frantic now, as his breaths tried hard to keep up with his blood pumping. There were 100 butterflies inside his ballooning chest. "Hello?"

Noctis;
Noctis could barely stifle the laughter which erupted from his belly upon seeing this thing, legs akimbo, staggering within the grass like a drunkard. "Oh, now I know what you are."He remarked, the wide grin audible in his voice, "I seem to have found an idiot. Who would've thought they'd have those out here?" Noctis kept low to the ground now; the other wolf still hadn't seen him and he had begun to enjoy this cute little game. He waited a few moments, letting the silence settle just long enough to be awkward, so that he might delight in the stranger's alarm once more. "Can you see me?" He teased, breathing heavily through a white-fanged smile, "Because I can see you, over there, looking delicious." Of course, it was not Noctis' intention to actually eat this poor fool, but he couldn't lie and say that he didn't take great pleasure in pretending that it was. He let out a breathy chuckle, almost salivating at the excitement of this tomfoolery. It was something that he had missed greatly, way out here.

Dzvezda Seren Arevik There were a great many things that Seren was privy to in the workings of this world — yet two wolves playing at cat and mouse was exactly none of them. She remained as she was — small, hidden in the undergrowth with startouched fur cloaked in shadow. It was winter; the sun's weak light did nothing to penetrate the mottled cover of the trees, granting all in their midst a thin veil of secrecy. But the pair had been so loud and so obvious that even sheltered as she was, Seren could see the fever-bright chartreuse of one and white-speckled pelt of the other. You are all idiots, thought the girl, which she did not say. Shame. Wouldn't it be funny if... ah, but she was no malicious creature; rather a girl with a ridiculous sense of humour and compulsion to laze about in one spot. Seren ended up strolling towards the spindly grey male, raising a brow in the direction of the other one. She'd seen them both, of course. Such were the joys of the third arrival. Well, lazy grin split her face. Her eyes were half-lidded and her voice crawled out as a slow, friendly drawl. It's good to meat you both.speechLINEART BY WORMWXXD | table and design by l

((OOC: This is what I have in my head right now, and it is EVERYTHING!)) —— Spica; "I seem to have found an idiot. Who would've thought they'd have those out here?" The words sparked a conflict within Spica, as they brushed on a hushed tone, against his alert ears. For one, the voice petrified him, coming out from the depths of the silence and causing the bristly fur along his spine to stand to attention. Secondly, the creature's remarks offended him, deeply, (though he couldn't say he disagreed with them), and this inner turmoil left Spica stammering profusely, mouth agape like that of a cod fish. He did not, however, have much time to be offended, for the words which next arose from the unknown predator were enough to chill his blood. Delicious? Spica's eyes fluttered nervously. Given the sober tone, it did not sound like the voice spoke out in jest. "I-I'm not delicious!" The young wolf yapped, his voice breaking again at random intervals, until he sounded more like a broken accordion than any sort of animal should. "I taste like... earthworms! And uhh... I don't know, squirrels! Or something..." The silence that followed was heavier than it had been previously and Spica felt as though he was sinking in it. Something about the air caused the skin beneath his fur to crawl, and paranoia was setting in. He couldn't be sure... but something told him that, whatever this insidious beast was... it was beginning to draw nearer toward him, most likely to make a kill. He couldn't hold it; swinging his head from left to right, trying to locate the mysterious onlooker,he let out a panicked cry: "Come on, man! I taste like feet, ok?! It's really, really not worth it, in fact, you-" But something interrupted him. Something new, and different. A softer, more sultry voice now bloomed from somewhere out in the shrub land, but this one was much, much closer. "Well, It's good to meat you both." Came the words, dancing on a purring wave. That was it. Spica felt fear brush against the base of his spine and scuttle up, all the way up, to the back of his neck, on frantic spider-legs. "OH MY GOD! PLEASE DON'T EAT ME!" He screamed, with pitch as high and weasley as that of a little girl. The mewling young wolf then leapt at least 3 feet into the air and landed in a tight, trembling ball upon the cracked dirt. Whimpering, Spica awaited his awful fate.

{OOC: Spica, you've GOT to draw something for me! I'll PM you!} ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Noctis;
Noctis' eyes rolled slowly in disdain and a degree of disbelief that this utter fool could really be so unbelievably cowardly. Watching as the young, greyish mutt ranted and raved, still completely oblivious as to where he was lurking, Noctis was engrossed in the hilarious display. And so, he supposed, if anything, that was the reason why he did not notice her until now. The second stranger. This one, managing to keep herself hidden until choosing to reveal herself, and even succeeding in making Noctis jump. Now, that was embarassing. "Well, pleased to meat you." Clearly, this she-wolf was also up for a little game, and Noctis relaxed, melting back down into the underbrush. For the other wolf, however, the idiotic one, there seemed to be no relaxing; Noctis had never seen a wolf fly so high into the air, and never had he heard a yelp so shrill as the one which escaped the whelp's throat. He shook his head and began to slink over to where he now knew the newcomer was stood. "Psst." He hissed, once he was just a few yards away, -though he knew that she'd already seen him coming. "Look at this absolute blockhead."The dark wolf motioned with a jerk of his head toward the heap of burbling grey fur on the floor. "What did you do to him?!" He whispered, a massive grin carving it's way into his face, "He looks like a baby!"

Felan; The young female moved steadily through the barrens, though usually bare it'd been covered with fallen snow. In her mouth was a half eaten fawn, the weight of it just noticeable as she trotted past the familiar twisted trees. She'd traveled these parts far often than most of the wolves she knew, and had learned the layouts of its lands inside and out. It'd grown on her, though she'd taken this route to avoid running into other wolves. Felan hadn't wanted to get in a scuffle with another wolf over her kill; since food had become scarce she decided to take the other half back to Kai in case it was needed. Though if she was honest her and Kai weren't starving, or had felt any hunger since the cold came in. Both had been working together when it came to hunting and since there were two of them it was easier to survive. She'd just simply didn't want the fawn to go to waste; it hadn't died for nothing. Though she'd come to a sudden halt, her ears flattening against her head when she heard someone scream. The pitch had been high enough to make her cringe, and drop the fawn on the ground. Tilting her head up she sniffed the air getting a whiff of three wolves nearby, and by the sound of it they were having a rather odd conversation. Now, she could turn back and avoid them or just simply move past them; she'd went with the latter. “That's just great, take this route and you won't run into any other wolves.” she mumbled, before scooping up the fawn. As she got close enough to spot the three, a brow raised in question at the scene before her. The wolf hadn't bothered to hide, the scent of blood would have easily given her away. Though if she were hungry at the moment she would have enjoyed the free entertainment, and a snack. While a lanky, purple maned male stood terrified out of his mind; two wolves a she-wolf, and a dark pelted male lay hidden taunting the younger one. A low chuckle fell from her muzzle, as she placed the fawn in front of her while sitting a few feet away from them. Thinking that a little space would be wise when coming upon new wolves; especially three as strange as they seemed. ”You don't come across this type of scene everyday.”

Dzvezda Seren Arevik Seren... Well. Everything in her build — from slight frame to star-speckled coat — screamed nonthreatening. The male must have been truly spooked out of his skin to even jump so high. Stars, what a sight! Despite the situation a lazy grin crawled onto her face, eyes half-lidded with her wolfish drawl. She was easy, open; and yet impossible still to read. Seren snickered. "That's all your work, pal." She was stood in the darkness of the undergrowth; overhanging vines draped across her spot, laden with shrivelled buds. Winter's bite was harsh; when the scent of young meat flooded her nostrils, a gleam sparked alight in the white depths of her eyes. "Indeed not." She was a fairly spry young woman, she knew, but she'd not seen the need to hunt such large prey since winter began. It was only a season; even in this harsh cold, the meat would not last — buzzards and coyotes were common as ant nests and any attempt to store the meat would fail. "So now that we're all properly acquainted—" What rubbish; none of them knew each other and one was about to faint. "—A round of introductions?" Seren stepped fully into the light, tail hanging limply by her hinds. Well. Things weren't going to move if nobody did anything and she'd rather not having apprehension thickening the air. speechLINEART BY WORMWXXD | table and design by l

((Lol... it's been a month. My apologies, guys))
"A round of introductions?" Spica was still convinced that he was about to be eaten by some ghastly predator, though, he had to admit, he'd never heard one introduce themselves before a kill. He buried his head further into his fur as he curled up tight. It was a pathetic attempt to escape the unknown monster, but what else was there to do? "Please lady,"He squeaked, his voice carrying with it a mixture of fear and agonizing impatience, "just get it over with..." A few more moments of silence slipped by and Spica swallowed, confused, to say the least. "...Well, alright, my name's Spica." Muttered the shivering coward. His words were muffled within his furry refuge, and so it may have been difficult for the predatory onlooker to decipher them, but to Spica, it mattered little. "Who're you-... in fact, no! Look, just hurry up and eat, me... I HATE when they drag it out."

Noctis;
Noctis was now sure that he could smell blood, but he was not concerned; the star-speckled she-wolf to his right seemed friendly enough, and it was obvious that this... Spica, was no threat. He slowly stood, stretching out the muscles in the backs of his legs, and scanned the horizon for a brief moment, not yet noticing the source of the scent. The blue-grey mutt was still quaking in a heap before him. "Just hurry up and eat me... I HATE when they drag it out." Now, Noctis was starting to get irritated. He glared down at the shivering ball with a sober expression, the contempt welling up in his viridescent eyes as his gaze locked on. "That's quite enough." He grumbled, "Roll over, dog. We're not going to eat you." The slender black wolf waited a few moments, and let his eyes wander once more, still distracted somewhere in his mind, by the delectable scent of... yes, that was fresh venison meat. His eyes narrowed into a squint, and he kept them out on the horizon, not even bothering to glance back toward the younger wolf at his paws as he introduced himself. "I am Noctis." The tone which adorned his voice was now rather grandiose, and fancied, all of a sudden. "What did you say your name was? Spica, was it?" And he nudged the pile of fluff with one large paw, attempting to roll him over onto his back.

Felan; The wolf on the ground was shaking vigorously even when the female emerged from the bush; acknowledging that they weren't going to harm him. Instead she'd asked for names. Felan could admit that she'd never seen such a wolf cower before like the wolf...Spica had. Though she did think if he bothered to untuck himself from his hiding spot he'd see that they had no intentions of eating him, as he'd put it. She doesn't think she'd ever seen another wolf consume another before; maybe kill but not eat.
Felan watched as the other male wolf came out of hiding; but he hadn't noticed her. Seeming to be too irritated with the other wolves cowardly behavior. "That's quite enough." He'd said, tired of the display.
She'd decided then that it was her turn to introduce herself; seeing that two of the wolves had no idea of her presence. Felan was a friendly wolf if anything; making new friends was her thing as long as the others had similar intentions. Neither had she been put off by the hilarious display she'd came across moments before, even if it was at the expense of the terrified wolf. She could definitely appreciate a little mischievous; being that she herself was prone to causing it.
“I'm Felan,” she'd announced, smirking. “That was hilarious by the way.”
Then she'd decided to move closer, plucking the fawn from the ground more so against her better judgement. The wolves could still very well attack her for it; but she simply didn't think they would one was cowering on the ground and the other two seemed unthreatening enough. Her huge fairy tail swayed behind her as she'd approached the three; she'd placed the fawn down as she sat amongst them. It'd settled at her paws when reaching them; Felan then glanced over towards the darker male. ”Noctis right? Then you on the ground is Spica,” she turned to the female. “I didn't catch yours?”
