Raider;
Raider was tiring of the endless wandering he'd been subjected to for the last five months. He was a wolf without a pack; and that to him meant he didn't belong anywhere. The male thrived on the chaos of a pack; and an alpha to follow. He'd never been one to question his superior; in fact he was taught not too and just complete whatever orders he was given. Though now he'd had no one to tell him what to do, and he was lost. No, he was literally lost he hadn't been in this part of the valley before. The few months he'd been here was him mapping out the territory he was going to stay in. Unlike, the smaller valley he was accustomed to staying in; this one was more vast and had more land to cover.
He could back track; follow the trail back to the small den he'd been living in. Though he didn't think that would be constructive. If he turned back now it wouldn't help in his quest to map out the surrounding land. Nope, he was capable of finding his way back taking the harder route and besides his trail would probably lead him in circles. He'd been sure he passed those same burrows five times already before or maybe they just all looked the same. Come to think of it the burrows looked large enough for him to fit inside; maybe he could change his living space. And forget about the small den he'd been sleeping in; these looked more spacious than the other had been.
Then the wolf wondered how many wolves would pass through this way; he'd had no worries about coming across an aggressive wolf wanting to pick a fight. He'd easily rip into one; and have it begging for it's pathetic life. Raider didn't have any problems with taking a life or two; he'd been trained for such matters and would carry out those orders. Though he'd been rather lonely lately he could do with a little conversation.
