The ruins were covered with snow, it seemed and felt lonely, not a wolf in sight. A harsh blizzard had come which made it even more impossible to see much. A large red wolf had been covered and underneath some rocks and dug a hole in which he created a den for himself.
The male was shivering a bit, although he could handle almost any type of weather his fur was still thin and the cold surely got to him.
He growls to himself, simply waiting for the storm to subside and he could find a better shelter to rest in. It's not like he would lose his way or anything, he'd basically traveled the valley numerous times before, but it would be unwise to travel in a storm like this. Even if he did travel in this type of conditions when he was younger, he still had his bold self in him but at the moment he had already traveled and was exhausted from the hunt he had earlier prior to the snow storm.
A gruff escaped him as he'd curl his tail around him, however his ears flickered at the quiet sound of a hare. He perked his head up and saw the hare in a distance, it looked like it had been running for its dear life and a little bit of blood dripped from the poor thing. Snake quickly took the opportunity to take the hunt as he'd figure he wasn't going to get anything to eat in a bit, not wondering why the hare was bleeding in the first place.
Snake sprinted out of his semi-warm den he had created and went for the hare, somehow the hare ran a bit further out and the half blinded wolf almost didn't have his prey in his line of sight. Snake would look down at the dripping blood and follow the tracks then, after a moment he'd sprint once more and finally catch the prey with his powerful jaws.
The large male shivered slightly, feeling the coldness in which crept in his missing eye hole. The male turns his body and heads back his small den, his tracks had already been covered by the snow but he followed the blood trail until he reached his destination. His head spun a little from how cold it was, his fur being a bit covered with snow. He shakes his head to get a grip, he wasn't going to pass out now, especially with freshly caught kill. Snake spots his den from a distance and a small faint smile tugged on his lips as he approaches it.
