Bushes moved aside and were padded down as what from a distance appeared to be a larger moving bush made its way around the forest. Upon closer observation it was obvious that it was no moving bush, but a wolf, green in coloration. His name was Tank, and he was looking for a home. Whether he would make it in the forest, that was debatable, or if he would be forced to join a pack to have a home was another story, but for now he wanted to help as many people as he could and stay out of an alliance. Tank continued to bush through bushes, even rose bushes and thorn bushes didn't seem to bother him much as he walked around the redwoods wondering if there was a spot to make a den in the area.

Seeing some bushes and footsteps in the distance, the young female with two top canine teeth peeking out, the color of metal, jumped up, curious. Ears swiveling, the lady made her way, padding under bushes and some of the sorts around her. The smell of extravagantly tall redwoods burned her nose. Definitely not use to being in these type of forests. Getting closer with each, silent, well calculated step, the women came to a halt behind a fallen nursing log, ducking behind it, her bright green eyes looking straight at the overly-large brute. He was very large, stocky is the way to go.
Multi-colored, and green he was. He was very different from the silver and metal colored she-wolf that hid, almost warily. Though, she stubbornly wouldn't back down to such a beast as he. He's quite the large brute. Hmm..wouldn't be surprised if he was a baby. she thought with a cruel sneer on her face. Metalstrike wanted to test him. Most large wolves she had encountered ran away like a young child, crying for his mother. Stepping back, ducking low, she ran and with a mighty leap, jumped right behind the stocky brute, baring her extra long silver colored canine teeth, eyes flashing fake anger. All she wanted to see was his reaction, not to inflict harm on this poor soul.

Tank had thought he had heard something as he turned back to the nursing log, to see no one there before turning his head forward just as Metalstrike looked up to examine him. The brute sighed a bit as he sat himself down, just as Metalstrike had thought of her plan and began to hatch it. As the she-wolf made her move, he remained still and quiet, waiting for her to get perfectly into position. Slowly, and a bit menacing, the wolf stood himself up, towering a bit overtop of Metalstrike. "Can I. Help you?" his deep voice replied as he looked down at the female, watching her carefully.
The large wolf showed no fear, despite the sharp fangs, his pelt could take the hit and still keep fighting on for more than long enough. He breathed in oxygen and exhaled carbon dioxide, right over Metalstrike's head and ears through his black nose. His dark green eyes, matching parts of his fur looked into hers, wondering what she had in mind sneaking up on a wolf of his size. Tank's eyes were unwavering, not moving once from the female's as he waited for an explanation, or to see if she needed assistance with anything.

Metal let her bared teeth loose a bit, her mouth partly open, her chops twitching showing, and covering her teeth repeatedly. She was in awe at his massive size. She was a puny thing compared to this debonair. She stepped back a bit, and felt his warm gas leak out onto her face, and on her head, causing her body to shiver. The lady was shocked at his slightly menacing stance and size. Feeling weak, and helpless wasn't never a good thing, the women absolutely hated that feeling."Erhm." she choked in response, his voice somewhat warm, but held a edge to it, making her fearful.
Backing away, and being the fiery stubborn one she was, Metal let no more of her fear or anxiety show. Instead, she raised her chin high and relaxed her stance, matching his equally. She then spoke in reply to his question."Nothing. I'm just...passing through." then all her dignity slipped from her paws. How pathetic, she couldn't even make up a decent lie in his presence. The she-wolf cursed mentally in her head. She held is gaze, unfazed, though inside she was quivering,

Tank held a stern and somewhat irritated gaze as his eyes remained locked with the female's. He could practically feel her fear, which actually made him feel a bit sorry. He sighed softly as she choked, slowly sitting himself back on his haunches, appearing a bit taller when he sat, though only by a few more inches vertically. Seated, he seemed like a big mass of nothing that looked like a wolf, at least when his head was bent down, which normally it was to talk to other wolves.
"I apologize." he said sincerely to the female, "I did not mean to scare you in return, but please note we are in the forests, and stuck between plenty of pack claimed territories, in the event of danger I must be ready to protect myself." he replied, his ears closing down on his head as he bowed his head before the female. "Now that that's said and done, the name's Tank. Is there anything I can help you with miss?" he asked, a slight smile on his muzzle as he tried to give off a friendly aura rather than a menacing one.

The lady couldn't believe it. Did she see a flicker of annoyance in his eyes? Well, score one for her. Somehow, she kinda liked to annoy others and see their reactions. She smirked smugly. Seeing him sit down, she stayed standing, still not sure of him, though no longer scared. The scent of the redwoods bark caused her to wrinkle her nose, scrunching her eyes, slightly sniffling. She nodded, and dipped her head back as Metal listened to the brute speak,
"Eh, your forgiven, and yes, I do take note of that, Tank." she said, testing out his name, liking the way it rolled off her tongue so smoothly. She Quentin silent, thinking about what it would be like in the jaws of Tank. She had one strange mind, though it was utterly normal. Just her personality that was different."Most call me Metal, but my given name is Metalstrike." she responded, and bright smile on her face. Not even realizing it, she had sat down! Tank...hm, I like that name. she thought, completely off topic."Almost forgot, but I'm sorry about our little...encounter back there, just testing out something. And no, there is nothing in particular you can help me with." she said, trying to come up with an excuse as if to why he should help her. Bad Metal! No...

The large wolf continued to watch the she-wolf, listening and paying attention to all of her subtle movements. Tank smirked lightly as she too sat down, as if following his lead but not on purpose. He flexed his paws against the ground, his claws unsheathing and then sheathing again as he clutched the foliage beneath him and then let go of it. As she finished her words he would nod slowly.
After she had finished speaking he stood himself back up slowly. "Well then, if there is nothing left for us to discuss, I suppose I should be on my way.." he replied as he looked up through the trees and towards WWM. "I have other business to attend to, now that I think about it. If you should ever find me Metalstrike, I would be honored to assist you." he added. "You sure there is nothing you need help with?" he asked one last time, looking down at her.

For what seemed like an eternity, she stared at his flexing paws with awe, fascinated by his power. She barely even caught his smirk playing on his young face. Tearing her eyes away, she looked at the ground. Her mother had taught her it was disrespectful to look into someone's eyes, most would see it as a challenge. Plus, he was not one to be disrespected. Metalstrike was beginning to actually like him. Standing up, she walked over to her new companion.
She wanted to cry out no, bit held her tongue, coking her head to the side, nodding her head slowly."Um, well, I don't exactly have anything that I need assistance on, but...I have been alone for quite awhile and was wondering if I could possibly travel...with...you?" she asked, shuffling her feet nervously."I won't stay long, I promise I'll be on my way soon." she said, looking back up. The lady could only hope now.

Tank seemed a bit taken aback as she walked herself over to him, without him having to offer, or asking her to come near. He smiled lightly, seeming to enjoy it for some reason, it was just a moment before he had stood up. The brute began walked a bit towards the edge of the forest as she spoke out to him.
"Well.. Gah.. I suppose so. But where I am going I cannot bring a friend, if you wish to travel with me near there I can help you into a small unclaimed territory before I continue my trip. Once done I will return to you, sound fair?" he asked, stopping himself and turning his head to look at her, wondering what she would say in return.

She smiled back, and then yawned a but, stretching out her jaw. The lady stood at his side, feeling very embarrassed. I hope he doesn't think of me as a needy she-wolf. she thought, her chops twitching a bit. Looking up, she brightened up."Really? Yes, yes, that does sound fair enough for me." she said, a hint of excitement in her voice. It has been awhile since she had socialized with anywhere, yet travel!? This is going to be fun! Metal thought excitedly, flexing her paws on the ground.
Looking up to him, her black nose slightly wrinkled, she dipped her head."Shall we go Tank?" asking softly.

The large wolf waited for her reply, watching her think it over quickly before she replied. He chuckled a bit happily a her reply. He smiled down at her again before he looked up to the mountain, wondering what sort of powers were in season. "Glad you're excited to go. And yes, let us make for the mountains, we will need to go through the grasslands and either swim through Amoux Creek, or go around Kai lake, or I could always throw you across the creek." he teased as he began walking out of the forest.
-Exit Tank-

Her as well looked to the mountain, blinking once, then twice. It seemed far. They could manage though, right? He reign his deep chuckle, made her splay her ears apart, a wiggly-like smile on her face, slightly blushing underneath her fur. Looking up to him, Metal gave him a cheeky smile, before gasping at his comment of throwing her over the creek, about to lash out at him with one of her own snarky comment, but before she could respond, he walked away, band she scrambled to him, muttering,"Males...!" she huffed, walking right beside him
{Exit Metalstrike}
