The air was still wet and heavy with dew when Galaxia emerged from the thicket, stretching her spine until she felt a satisfying pop,  She took another moment to shake out her thick fur against the chilly spring morning before setting off up the hill, to the rocky outcrop where she would perch and watch the valley below. It was her favorite place to be; sitting so high up on that hill made her feel as if she could see everything. It was very powerful and humbling all at once. Perhaps what Galaxia liked most of all was how quiet it was. No chattering birds, no chattering packmates, no chattering of any kind whatsoever. That was how she liked it - crisp and silent and most importantly no chattering.

Once she had reached the spot, Galaxia took in deep breath and exhaled in a whoosh, settling down on her haunches to scan the landscape. Perhaps she would spot a group of elk today. It had been so very long since she had had elk. Her stomach gave a rumble in protest. This was going to be problematic.

Accalia crept slowly forwards, cursing her silver coat that glinted in the sunlight under her breath. She felt that she might as well be waving a flag yelling at her prey. She silently slipped into a thick bush to hide her shining fur, and it seemed to do the trick. She noticed one of the cow elks was walking with a slight limp, probably the result of a failed hunt. Perfect. She was just about to pounce, when she noticed the silhouette of another female wolf sitting on the hill, wind blowing through her fur, scanning the horizon for prey. Even though she knew it might scare away the elk, Accalia's kind nature won over and she silently ran up through the forest and up the hill. She gestures over to where the elk are in the forest and quietly says the words "injured elk female" to her, then runs quietly back to the bush, giving Galaxia the choice of whether or not to follow.
