It was times like this the black wolf Kyo cherished most, when he could take the time to lounge around without having to worry about anything. It could have been a small thing for most wolves, but for Kyo some of the smallest things in life gave him a bit of joy. It was always a nice change from having to watch his back all the time, as he lies under the shade of a tree with both of his eyes closed he just listened to the sounds around him. The gentle breeze of the wind that tickled the tip of his ears, the birdsong of the avian creatures around him and the sound of rustling leaves. It all had a calming effect on the large wolf, which in turn made his mind wonder to the past; He was so bitter and angry then, lashing out on anyone he thought even associated themselves with a pack just because he felt betrayed by his own.
Kyo's mind also thought about how life his different would be if his old family didn't betray him, would he still be with them now? Would he be their alpha and lead them to a better tomorrow or to ruin? Kyo opened his good eye, a sigh escaping from his maw. Thoughts like that were not healthy to him, what ifs did nothing to help him; It would not changed what he had become and the foal deeds he had committed. It was bad to dwell on the past, it only crowded one's own judgement and a lapse in that judgement would result in an easy death for the black wolf. Still sometimes it is good to dream and escape the reality you are in, no one should have to worry about consistently being hunted down. Always having to be on guard worried about what or who you would find around the next bend. Kyo still allowed himself these small times of peace even if he knew it was something he shouldn't do, even if it was against his better judgement. Everyone needs to have an escape now and again and a wolf such as himself.

Fireblaze pranced along, smelling the fresh Autumn air with her head up, eyes closed. She loved all the seasons, but autumn was her favorite, because she could see all the colors and smell the prey clearly. She was usually so tense, watching for predators and other wolves who were not as nice as her dad. She saw the good in everything now, except for the prey. There, all she saw was blood and anger. I guess that's why she was a neutral. Walking, she scented the air, but only smelled rot food. Yuck! Thinking only about the food, She didn't pay attending to her surroundings, not the tree shift, not the ground formation, nothing, until she tripped over a large body, yelping in shock.
"Sorry!" She yelped, afraid of what she stepped on. Turning around, she saw a massive wolf. "O-oh, I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention and-and I just forgot to look around but usually I'm tense and not like this, but today it was nice and I could only smell the rot food over there!" Fireblaze frantically said, pointing to the rot food.

((Sorry went to the store! I'm back now!))
Kyroe walked along, his soft paws crunching over the fallen leaves. The amber wolf loved that sound. The crisp, ruch, earthy sound if leaves crumbling under paw. A sound he did not like was thunder. Just the thought if the raging skies made Kyroe shiver. He was not a coward, nor a cautious wolf, but when your a pup stranded in an evil packs territory, the slightest sound is terrifying, much less the booming of an angry sky. The amber wolf sniffed the air, part of his routine of survival. He had to be aware of his surroundings, every detail, every soul. And in the brisk autumn breeze he smelled something. Wolves. Two of them close by. We're they to be enemies or allys? only one way to find out! Kyroe shrugged his broad shoulders and entered a small clearing,
There they were a male and a female, they seemed to have just met, and by the look on the females face in an awkward way. Kyroe couldn't help a smile from forming on his face. And just to balance it out he let his orange ruff rise, his fur bristling. He supposed he shouldn't be on the offense since he was the one intruding, but he was a male, it's what they did.
"Hello there." He said simply, his voice rough from lack of use. -which was strange since Kyroe was a talkative wolf, full of snarky and sarcastic comments-

Kyo closed his right eye once more, his mind was determined to keep him from a peaceful rest, but it wouldn't stop him from trying. The black wolf needed the rest, how long would be before had another opportunity like this: Days, weeks, maybe even months, he couldn't really be sure. Kyo once again focused on the calming sounds of the forest, his breathing slowed down as he finally got comfortable. Sleep was almost upon him soon he would be able to get some much needed rest or so he thought, he felt something bump into then heard the voice of a wolf.
Kyo quickly came to his paws readying himself in a defensive stance, whoever this was caught him off guard and large wolf was not going to take any chances. He had far too many enemies for him not to be, though it was odd the wolf did not attack him while he was unaware, it would have been simple and much easier to take out while he slept. Kyo drew his maw back into a snarl, a low growl coming from his mouth, Before Kyo had the chance to even act this wolf was trying to apologize for running into him. To Kyo that was something new to him a wolf trying to apologize for his own discomfort. The red wolf didn't seem that much of a threat to him, so he dropped his stance though now he kept his ears and nose alert the black wolf was still wary of his surroundings he let one wolf sneak up on him he wouldn't make it two. "You should try paying more attention lass i don't exactly blend into the forest.", Kyo said to the female, before he could say anymore he heard another wolf close by.
The black wolf turned his head to look at the new arrival, there were now two wolves he had to deal with Kyo hoped this was not some kind of trap, but in case these wolves actually were harmless it would best to play along, no reason for any senseless fighting if he could help it. "So much for a little nap under the shade I suppose."

The small female walk around the low tress when she noticed a wolf. She staid back in the shadows a bit her white pelt being terrible camouflage.

Fireblaze felt terrible. She really hadn't meant to wake him up, or even bump into him. "Oh, I'm so sorry for waking you! and, hi" She said to both The big wolf and the newcomer. Taking a few steps back to give them personal space, she said, "I'm Fireblaze!" She then proceeded to sniff for the new wolves smells, as the rot food was almost over powering. "I don't quite have a pack yet, but I'm still a pup, so im hoping at least one will want me! But then I'd have to choose a pack and it would be so hard!"
Fireblaze could have rambled on for hours, but she saw something white flash in the trees. Standing up, she fluffed her entire body, shoved her ears forward, and stuck her nose up in the air. To her, this was what an alpha would look like. Stalking forward slowly, Fireblaze saw that it was another wolf. "Jeez! Why are there so many of you guys? This is too many for me! But, who are you?" Fireblaze asked carefully, tilting her head to the side as she resumed her normal relaxed stance. She sat down, wondering if she was in pack territory. then, her eyes widened a little and she started to freak out.

Kyroe chuckled at the goings on. The orange make padded out if the forest a bit and sat down, ears shoved forward and poised to pick up every detail. His nose was working, picking up the scents if yet another wolf. The rot food in the brush over there was so potent it made it hard for Kyroe to really breathe. "Sleeping is best done after a days journey, at night preferably." Kyroe shocked himself as he realized he sounded so much wiser than before, so much more chivalrous and sophisticated. And then he realized, he was aging. He was in his adult hood, aging quickly toward elder. By he didnt feel like one! Did he?
The orange male stood, and his knee joint in his keft foreleg caught and popped painfully. "The universe just likes proving me wrong." he mumbled to himself. Maybe the reason why he didnt talk as much was because he wasn't as naive. At the mention if taking the young female in, he sighed. "I don't have much expierence. I once met a she wolf named Vivanne. I was hoping to make her my mate, but that never happened. At my age I should've had pups by now, but I don't. And now I think having such an enormous responsibility would tie me down. But I'm sure there are many shewolves who have lost pups that would be more than great ful for your presence." Kurie explained.
look! I still can talk alot! Ha! Universe! he smiled smugly at his accomplishment and mived closer to the scarred black male. He seemed like an interesting character. He looked like this conversation was burdening him. So Kyroe resulted to just giving him a nod and sitting close by.

Kyo watched these two wolves carefully he was not much for polite conversations, it wasn't that he disliked them just that it has been a long time since he had run into anyone to speak with. Sure there were a few loners here and there who didn't care or knew of his reputation, but at the time he mostly sought after information to avoid those that would like nothing more then to see him dead. The black wolf had to admit it was a nice change of pace all wolves are social creatures after all even if it was for a short while, still it wouldn't hurt to get any info he could about the surrounding area he was new here and knowing his way around would be helpful. Kyo's ears twitched as he listened to the young female speak she seemed quite excitable, but the black wolf thought that maybe all young ones were like. She apologized for what seemed like the third time. "It is fine lass just watch where your place your paws next time you might run into someone far worse than me." Kyo replied.
He watched on as the red colored wolf went on introducing herself and then move on to a whole other topic entirely, she was scatter-brained in his opinion, but again a flaw of being young and eager. Though she came to the wrong place if she was looking for a pack Kyo was in no rush to join any pack, to be honest the thought didn't even cross his mind. How ironic would it be for him to be in a pack now. The very idea of it all brought a small smile to his muzzle "I'm afraid you came to the wrong place if you are looking for a pack I don't have much interest in being in one, in fact would much happier if I could just avoid them ."
Kyo looked towards the orange wolf as he started to speak, he took the time to give him a once over as this wolf was an interesting looking one more for his height then anything though tall, but slender it was an old build it made the black wolf wonder just what male was capable of. "Perhaps for most wolves, but it is much easier for me to travel by night then day ." Kyo explained. His black made it a simple task to move around unseen most of the time he would be lying if he said he was never found before after the sun fell. Kyo didn't listen much after the orange wolf started speaking to Fireblaze, he talked about his past which didn't interest him. The black wolf had enough problems without having to hear the burdens of others.

Dakota noticed the small pup talking to her. She looked down at her,"I'm Dakota." After saying this Dakota moved away from the other wolves a bit unsure of what to think.

Kyroe switched conversations once more. "Well with your pelt I suppose the night aids you." Kyroe's cost blended well with the autumn, his irange coat blending with the fiery falling keaves. He was much more interested in this scarred male then the shewolf and the white one. He didnt know his name and it seemed like he was the kind if wolf who wouldn't want to share his name. So in return he didnt announce his name either. Why would he? After all you never knew if a wolf was an evil one, they were tricky and good at tricking and deciving wolves.
The orange male arched his back like a cat and sighed as it popped his spine all the way down. He could really go for a good spar right about now. Kyroe sighed again as he stretched his muscles. He felt like he understood this wolf even though he knew next to nothing about him. He knew that packs weren't always good for safety. Some packs are or become abusive and cruel. Others may earn you a great deal of dangerous enemies. And one can't leave out the drama. Betrayals and cheats and two litters from the sane father but different mothers. It was just so loud and sappy. Kyroe gave a solemn nod and edged away from the red shewolf and the quiet white wolf who was allied Dakota.

Dakota watched as another wolf edged closer to her. She gave in sitting down waiting for what was to come. She looked down at her grey paws, her blue eye and white eye glowing a bit under the cover of trees.

Sensing that these wolves had nothing for her to do, she backed away, watching them the whole time. Suddenly, she felt the ground start to crumble. Yelping, she fell through the earth. "HELP!" She whines, before looking back. Her leg was crushed under a rock and it HURT.
