Pluto, a purple wolf with white spots and odd stripes, ran into the forest of love. One side of his face was mangled, and a eye missing. But it had been a few days. He was over it. But he missed his family. Even his brothers. They had always made him feel unwanted. But now he missed them. But most of all he missed his sister and mother. He had always loved them. He had been tiring to protect his sister when he lost his eye. But with that eye gone, he could see. The guilt of leaving them was a fresh wound. But he was here to find a mate, not grieve. He howled. Hoping that someone would here it and come.

Ravenwing magically appeared. No, not really. The russet red wolf stalked into the clearing after having just received her power of ice. Well that would be useful for pups but... creating ice in winter? Meh.

Pluto didn't see her coming as she approached from his left. But he smelled her and turned. "Hi." he said.

"Hello, who might you be?" Raven queried, her voice as cold as the snow that swirled around them. Her words were a blizzard in the biting wind, and her power marking glowed. Her body temperature lowered, the heat being lost decreasing with it until she was finally comfortable with it. Golden eyes seemed to bore straight through to Pluto's soul as Raven stared.

Pluto sat, a little uneasy. "I'm Pluto. Who are you?" he said. Had she noticed? She must have by now. He self conciesly turned the left side of his face from her. His wound had scabbed a bit. But where his eye used to be it was still a hole. A bloody, shreaded hole.

Ravenwing frowned at the sight of his mangled face, and reached to place a cold paw on it. The cool should hopefully calm the wounds down and provide relief. "I'm Ravenwing and I was wondering this forest, hoping to find a mate. Pluto's a nice name. What are you doing here?"

"I was looking for a mate myself." his good eye looked into her's. Born blind, the cost of sight had been an eye. Almost not worth it. Her eyes were beautiful. But he thought of his own. An icy blue. He shruged it off. Blue wasn't a bad color.

He smiled. The kind of smile that was very puppish. He had never gotten to live like a real puppy. He had been regected senice birth. Now he was making up for lost time. He wagged his tail very fast. And his one eye gleamed with fun lovingness.
