"Since I already know you, it would only be fair to tell you my name. But what would be the fun in that, and when have I ever played fair?" Koroneis replied smoothly. Her own power mark started to glow as she considered using her power but decided not to. The hard rock slowly lost the golden light as the mark on her pads and underside of her claws stopped glowing, and the light faded away. Her storm grey eyes darkened a little, but she kept her stance relaxed. This male wolf, this Fjord was the one Xaefir had been so determined to avoid - and yet, here she was, meeting him. And the wolf beside him? Definitely the ferocious Edge, but with morals. Ha. Morals did no wolf any good, not in her opinion.
Seeing his neck fur bristle and his eye start to glow a striking ice blue. The power mark of water. And such a fitting one too. Ice for one so dangerous, and ice blue to suit such a mark. Beautiful, wonderful chaos. Noticing the frost creeping out from under his paw, as well as the irritated glare he had on his face, Koroneis deduced that Geist had given him brainfreeze. Of course Geist would do that. She was a primordial being, more powerful than any mortal and more dark as well. Still, she did not support mindless killing like an empty drone. Instead, she liked one with a brain to spread her misery, her destruction, her death. But not mindlessly - oh no, never mindlessly.
"You may call me Crow, for the time being. Now, Fjord soon-to-be Alpha, we have much to discuss. If Edge could kindly give us some privacy for a moment, I'd like this to be a one-on-one talk. 10 minutes of your time is all I need." She tilted her head a little, as if considering something and discarding the idea.

As the bitterness of Fjord's raucous roar catch the attention of this almost furtive wolf, her absurd manners immediately cause Edge to hiss a venomous growl as it begins to pound from his lungs through his tight throat. The information this wolf, named Crow apparently, hold something of value without question needed, but what's so important for Crow to talk to Fjord alone? Hesitation boil within the towering black and grey male as the sharp strike of his black, red tip tail beat the dusty white ground. Edge's Power mark, which resemble a blue lightning bolt, starts to growl brightly on his right shoulder, hitting that sparks soon grow into statics through his long, soft fur.
"If you really what to talk, I'll like to hear it too, if you don't mind, Crow!" growl Edge, but it sound more sedate than threating. Although he'll fight for Fjord as a myrmidon, but Edge will leave if Fjord allow him to. "Fjord...Your call..."

Fjord took in the females words. What was she planning? Was she just going to attack once his back up was gone? Maybe. But what if what she was saying was true? The male eyed her skeptically and took a step forward. "I would like to have Edge near me. Though I will send him away on one condition. Talk only. You will not make any move towards me or make any threatening guesture. If you do -and in the off chance that I perish- Edge will go into the valley and destroy all related to you in any way." Fjord faced both of them. "Understand, Edge? Crow?" He spat out her name as if it tasted like a scrawny wolf's corpse gone rancid.
The white male growled and his power mark glowed even brighter and he felt frost climbing his fur, though he was immune to the cold. In the spring, when the snow was melted he would practice for real. He would freeze the puddles when a wolf was stepping in them, that would be an interesting sight.

Koroneis was neither perturbed, nor intrigued, nor worried by his power. For one, she liked the cold. It was of no concern to her. Secondly, she could sleazy teleport away, no matter how stuck she got. He wanted to have Edge near him? Of course - she would play his little game. "Does the big scary wolf Ned his bodyguard to protect him from the little wolf? Fine, I will abide by your conditions. I have no need for your death anyways... And it would leave your pack without an Alpha."
She blinked impassively, waiting for Edge to leave and Fjord to reply. As the soon-to-be Alphess of her own pack, Fallen Ashes, Koroneis would like to ensure it's safety in its fledgling days, months and years. Her cold gold gaze seemed to burrow straight into Fjord's eyes. Her entire demeanor depicted the rank she would soon hold. She had an air of majesty and grace, as well as that of dominance and strength. Power. Chaos. What she did, was of no concern to Edge, but she would play by Fjord's rules.

"Yes sir! Understood." reply Edge, letting his icy blue eyes flow over and imbibe the structure of this wolf. She may be small, but he can clearly see the tight and growing muscular features her body allow her; of course, she holds not only secrets, but a wide chance of unpredictable movement and strength if she like- she was something not to bargain for. Alas, if Fjord wants to speak to Crow he will have his wish but his Beta will stay by if needed. As his strong legs start to trudge away, Edge stare at Crow for awhile until a sudden thought merge from his mind: Where have he seen this wolf before? All around her, every movement, every dialect Crow spit out, it like he seen her someplace; however, Edge could be perpetrate mistaken her for another, a common mistake. So the wolf simply cede, evacuating the thought in his head.
Edge, as his colossal size body evade the scene, his eyes once more scrutinize towards Fjord and give him an apprise nod that he'll be next door. Quick in a flash, Edge couldn't be seen, but he hope he can still here the conversation.

"I know your beta is listening. And I know that he will try to inch closer and eavesdrop as we speak. I don't like that, so unless he's hard of hearing, I'm going to talk in a soft, soft voice. This is meant to be private, not a game for fools." Koroneis spoke simply, raising her voice at the 'eavesdrop' part. Her tone was cold and fluid, as icy as his power. As she spoke, she practiced her power, put it to use. Just as she spoke 'private', she teleported just behind Fjord, hissing it into his ear. And just as fast as she had gotten there, she was back in her original spot. Koroneis was lightning-fast, every time she used her power, it got better, got stronger, got faster. Easier to use and much more deadly.
She might not seem like it, bu Koroneis was as dangerous a killer as Fjord. She did not kill for sport, but when she did kill, she was a machine - cold and heartless. She devised numerous ways of slowly torturing a wolf to death, maiming them, killing them. It would be foolish not to be wary of the lone wolf."So, let us get started. I understand from a source that you are starting a pack - Midnight Silence. An apt name, for a pack with such a leader. I am starting one too - Fallen Ashes. We seek nothing from you but a truce of peace, and we will do the same in return. Discussing the subject of territory, we will not attempt to remove you and your pack of your land... Unless you attack us first. In that case, we will attack back harder." She paused, and gave Fjord time to consider her words. Her body language spoke of dominance and power, yet she had majesty, grace and chaotic order placed inside the mix as well. A dangerous, fatal combination for any of her victims. "I am not asking for an alliance. An alliance is based not on a truce, but trust and friendship. We have none of that - at least not yet. So, a truce. Name your conditions and I will name mine."

Choosing to ignore this so-called 'Crow' shewolf's comment Fjord nodded. He stayed standing, his head cocked, ears perked. He listened to her speak of a truce. He came to the conclusion that she was afraid that her pack would be destroyed by his. That was a good fear to have. What other reason did she have? Obviously not friendship. Fjord's mind strayed slightly to the shewolf Akheron, he would be willing to have an Ally with her pack. But this one? A mere truce would do.
"My conditions are that for the first 12 seasons after our packs are formed your pack and my own shall not engage in any warfare or squabbles of the like. your pack shall not step paw into our territory. If one of your wolves do so our pact will immediately be void and we may do as we like. This also goes for the combat. If my pack is involved in an attack with another, your pack is not permitted to aid the offenders in any way shape or form otherwise this truce is void."

"We will uphold these conditions, but you will do the same, without trying to find loopholes to escape. My conditions are that my wolves who are currently in Barren Wastes will be given a time of half a season to move out before you go out finding them. They have no idea that you are claiming it. Secondly, wolves of both our packs will not attempt to harm each other, doing so will void the truce and in return, we may do as we like. Thirdly, our packs will not steal prey, especially since we are in neighboring territories. If worst comes to worst, I know my pack will send over food to help. I would like you to do the same. I'd very much like this to be a mutual truce, but if it is voided, we are a strong force as well." Koroneis said, her voice fluid as the ocean waves she had seen. She was not afraid of what Fjord might do - after all, Fallen Ashes had a strong militant force as well. The truce would be kept at all costs, though, but if it was voided... Well, that meant she no longer had to play fair. She simply ocked her head to the side, as if contemplating what Fjord would loom like, dead. Dead and bleeding his life out on the ground. While she was sure she could take Edge on, she didn't want the trouble of having to get her paws dirty so soon. It made for bad examples, and she was not Fjord. Assassin she may be, but she did not kill for sport.
"If you have any more terms, or disagreements, or changes to the above-listed conditions, say so now. I don't want to have to renegotiate them because one stupid wolf from either my pack or yours did something wrong. Though if the truce were broken, the Valley might very well lay in ruins." She monotoned, raising an eyebrow. Koroneis contemplated using her power again, but decided against it. What was she going to do anyway? Poof around the place? She was sure Edge was listening, but all the better, for the Beta to know. He was the Beta. It didn't concern her if he was an inefficient, mindless serving drone.

Edge, after hearing Crow's voice on his attention, the wolf hold back a few steps until he almost fly of the ledge of the mountain! Now almost a simply whisper, but some words the large wolf can completely understand; the truce among the Midnight Silence and Fallen Ashes could useful, and the conditions, those of what he could hear, made the Beta nod in agreement.

Fjord nodded in agreement. Though it was funny that this Crow thought her pack could stand a chance against hers. She might hold the bigger territory, but his pack was much more determined and vicious. He was sure he would find more members and have a stronger, greater, more superior force. Fjord remembered the first wolf he met in the valley, Tala of Fridgid plague. She had been mysterious and had hidden her true identity from him. Now, he was begging to wonder if this Crow was trying topull the same thing off.
"If our packs were to ever have an agreement, I would like to know the Alphas true identity." If Crow was her real name she would be offended, but then again she had come asking him for a truce. If it wasn't her real name, then, all was concluded.

"I am deeply offended you think I would lie to you. Well I would, but not on the subject of identity. I am Crow, as well as Koroneis. Koroneis means Crow, and I see no reason to keep to one name." She hummed fluidly, flicking her tail. She knew that Edge had definitely heard, and was also eavesdropping, due to the scratching sounds and startled screech of claws on stone. Hmm, idiot. If that was all, it would conclude her meeting and she could finally leave the bunch of irritating, bloodthirsty wolves, though she did scratch up some grudging admiration for Fjord. Just a little.
"If that is all, I believe it concludes this meeting. Is there anything else you'd like to discuss?" Koroneis asked, raising one eyebrow. If he had nothing to say left, the russet wolf would take her leave. Waiting patiently was one of her best characteristics, but she would give Fjord no more than five minutes to answer her. She had a forming pack to attend to, and they had already sorted out their truce.

"No? Then I take my leave. Good day." Koroneis remarked, before looking through that small hole once more and teleporting away. As she moved down the mountain, she thought back to the truce, and the agreement. Now, she'd have to spread the word to her soon-to-be subordinates so they wouldn't go stepping round in the Barren Wastes all willy-nilly again. And then , she needed to gather them, and after that she definitely needed to go claim Outer Reaches before a certain snow-white wolf got there.
Koroneis sighed and teleported again, definitely not in the mood for walking all the way down. It was tedious, boring, and she needed practice anyway - so why not get it when she could? The russet red wolf's gold eyes glowed slightly, and her paw caused an ethereal light to appear on the hard rock, before she was no more, and somewhere near the foot of the mountain.

After Crow remove herself from their present, Edge sneak back toward his soon-to-be Alpha. His eyes was clear, but in all threating as he straighten up for Fjord for his next commands. The agreement, the solid trunce between these two packs was now officially begun; however, as the Beta have seen many loyalty come and go within packs and their members, this she wolf seem to have no problem with this nor battling the Midnight Silence. Of course, she may be bluffing. Maybe. When the black wolf bring his sight on Crow, he knew right now that she have teleportation, meaning that she could spy on them with ease, but that also mean that Edge will double his Power until it's perfect fit!
Edge's eyes spark heavy as lighting begin to emerge from them as his thundering voice remove the silent. "Sir. The name Koronies. I think I have heard the name before seasons ago. She may not have vaule like you, but she's heavily skilled with both speed and strength. Her present may greatly upset you."
