Savu:
Savu padded through the short green grass. It was soft and new, the snow melting over it and still present in some places. The glittering whiteness was soft and palabke under paw. The ashy grey wolf would wait here for Mysti. He only hoped she would actually come. The large male sat down on a small rise where the grass was free of dew. He let his white tail curl onto the grass in a relaxed fashion, his whole stance face the impression that he was very laid back. Inside he was anything but.
The male was anxious, his heart beating quickly, and his eyes flicking to and fro searching for a shewolf who would not come yet. He knew that much. She might come when spring is fuller. But Savu couldn't help the swelling of hope inside of him. He perked up when the scent of a female reached his nose, he rose to his full height and wagged his tail frantically before slumping to the ground again, crestfallen. It wasn't Mysti.
Shiver:
She was a blur, a flash of silver, gold, and blue. She was an unrecognizable streak of a wolf. Her jaws were open, her pink tongue lolling out of the side of her mouth. Her paws practically flew over the fresh grass of the Lilly warren. She leaped gracefully over a trench and landed effortlessly on the other side. She stopped near a small puddle of snowmelt to drink when she saw a large grey form out of the corner of her eye.
Shiver looked over, head raised regally, but the wolf sat down again and Shiver was no longer worried. She would talk to him later, maybe once Zeke arrived so she wouldn't be one on one with a strange wolf. Shiver leaned down once more to lap at the puddle before situating herself on the edge of the water source to wait for her mate.
