Ruko:

Pawsteps sounded through the forest as Ruko trotted through the trees. This part of the forest seemed ancient. He paused to survey the large clearing. "This place is perfect! Let's practice here." Without waiting for his companions' responses, the yearling summoned a cyclone. The grey wolf grinned as the swirling winds picked up dust and formed a small cone shape. Ruko had been the proud owner for two whole seasons which was half of his short life. Maybe he'd be leveling up soon, but then again maybe not since there hadn't been a chance to really experiment with his power and find out what it was capable of. Now Ruko finally had a chance to create all the cyclones he wanted.

Ruko pranced around the clearing with his first dust devil following a foot behind him. His golden eyes followed the little tornado's progress. It seemed a bit shaky and slow to follow Ruko's inaudible commands. After a couple minutes of trying to control the dust devil better, Ruko allowed the cyclone to disperse. A pile of old leaves caught his eye. A second later, they spiraled into the air on the wind of Ruko's next cyclone.

Electro watched as Ruko created cyclones and thought about practicing his power. Why not Electrobolt thought. Soon Electro was charging and zapping trees. This is Fun!. Electro continued electrocuting nearby trees. Electro had so much fun that he got carried away and he couldn't stop zapping. This is really awesome, no wonder Ruko wanted to go practice. "Hey Ruko isn't this fun?" Electro asked. Electro continued running at trees and zapping them with little blasts of energy. There were so many trees so Electro could pratice as much as he wanted. There is no way any wolf couldn't love this Electro thought.

Ruko:

"Course! Why wouldn't this be fun?" the young wolf laughed gleefully as he watched the leaves swirl. Time to try something new. Ruko tried to summoned two more cyclones. He struggled to bring them into existence. The winds refused to spiral into a whirlwinds and curve to Ruko's will. He panted as the effort to summon three dust devils at once tried to overcome him. Ruko battled against the wind before the single cyclone that he manage to kept together exploded. The winds' force wasn't enough to throw a wolf or even a rabbit, but it blew dirt, leaves, and grass into the Ruko's face as well as giving his fur a sudden wind-blown look. The male blinked in shock at the sudden burst of wind. Then he laughed and shook off the filth covering his pelt.

Another whirlwind sprung up not a moment after the last leaf was shaken from Ruko's pale fur. His golden eyes twinkled as the little dust devil cleaned up the mess the previous cyclone's explosion had created. He noticed how its movement were slowly getting smoother. Ruko was sure he was improving or maybe it was just him wishing too hard. Ruko sent the cyclone that was now filled with grime before he let the winds dissolve and leave the the dirt in a somewhat neat pile. The next cyclone was ready for Ruko's commands a second later. Ruko tried to lift it higher instead of just spinning around at ground level. The whirlwind's tail elongated until it seemed to snap and lift off the ground.

Electrobolt smiled as he charged up and zapped the next tree. The shock hit the tree and sparked off the tree a little and dissipated into the air. Electro watched with glee as the clump of electricity left a little black spot on the tree. Electro grinned every time the black areas grew in size as he harnessed a little bit more power each time. When Electro had gotten tired he lay down panting. That sure was tiring Electro thought. Five seconds later Electro's fur grew large and fluffy and made him look like a yellow poodle. Electro looked down at his paws calmly, the next moment he sprung up in alarm."W-w-what happened!" Electro yelped.

Ruko:

The airborne cyclone remained in Ruko's control for a second before whizzing away as the young male lost his grip on it. Ruko felt weirdly tired as he watched the dust that the previous whirlwind had picked up drift back to the ground. It wasn't like any other tiredness that Ruko had felt before. It was more of a mental exhaustion than anything else. Ruko felt as though he should be panting but the action never came. The light grey wolf turned to look at the yellow wolf that'd been also practicing.Laughter rang through the clearing as Ruko noticed his appearance. "You.... You look like a squirrel's tail!" Ruko gasped between his laughter. The laughs diminished slowly as a headache began to bother him. He shook his head to free himself of the throb, but it only seemed to make it worse. How long had he been practicing to develop such a headache?

Ruko looked up at the sky to gauge the position of the sun. More than a couple hours had passed, judging by the significant difference since Ruko had left the Ashwood Grove. "Why haven't they howled yet?" he asked aloud. His golden gaze returned to Electrobolt. "And where's Amora. I'm getting worried. I should go find her... but the rest of the pack might need help or something..." Then an idea struck Ruko. "We should split up! You go check out the border howl and I'll go search for Amora. Sound good with you?" Ruko paused for only a second before anxiously talking again. "She might be in danger! I can't wait at all. I'll go now, just go check on them. I don't think they'll mind at all. We're all pack members. I'll be back in no time. I need to save my sister!" As he spoke the last sentence, Ruko was bounding away. He was sure somehting had happened to her. No doubt, his power should definitely help. Super Ruko was coming to save the day!

Electro sat there staring at his fuzzy fur as Ruko laughed at him. Next thing he knew Ruko was talking about Amora. "Your right!" Electro exclaimed "we need to help Amora." Before he had finished his sentence Ruko ran off. "H-hey wait up we should stick together!" Electro cried as he ran after Ruko. Maybe i can use my power to zap the enemies. Or maybe they're lost... then I'll be useless. I have never been good at directions. Electro tried to catch up with Ruko but he just stayed just as far away as before. "Ruko can you stop running so fast?"
