Shikoba: "Two wolves?!" She thought. "ACK!" she yelped as a tongue met her already wet pelt. She hated it when her mother used to do that. She shook the wet off, landing it all on the black wolf. She then gave guilty puppy dog eyes to him. "S-sorry" She stuttered. Not feeling quite safe enough the she-wolf pup made for a boulder in the opposite direction of the wolves. There was no point in hiding as she had been noticed by both of the strangers and she was so tired of being small. Clumsily clambering to the top, she managed to see a lot clearer. She looked worryingly at the newcomer, noting that she was covered in blood the pup didn't recognise the scent of. Though trembling, Shikoba found some courage knowing that she could see out of the snow. She took a deep breath, and stated "I'm trying to find my father, he's been gone the whole day. He told me to wait but I'm so hungry, and I lost my den trying to find him." She had ignored the males playfulness, she didn't feel like laughing. She flicked her head towards the female. "I have no idea what you will do, where did that blood come from?" she queried. Her confidence grew stronger every second they didn't attack her, though she was still very wary, eyes darting back and forth rapidly.
King: He'd lost the scent. It seemed to be masked by other wolves. "If I howl, I will let all wolves know my location." He murmured. Though as far as he knew, the territory hadn't been claimed, he knew at least one other will come to investigate. With his injured paw he'd be no match against an alpha, even with his size and strength. He screwed his eyes shut to stop emotion from flowing from them and shook his head. "I won't lose you." he voiced in a stern manner. He puffed up his chest and gave a heavy, loud howl and a short yip and yowl to follow. Swiveling his ears in all directions, he had hoped to hear Shikoba's delicate puppy-yowls.

Sinoin sneezed as the pup flung the snow from its fur. Landing on his nose, he grunted wiping it with his paw, watching as the young pup climbed unto the boulder clumsily. "Hey, careful, you're gonna get hurt climbing like that." He paused, turning toward the other wolf the pup was addressing. Immediately seeing the white wolf fur stained crimson with blood he growled, crouching low and sniffing the air. 'The blood isn't wolf....prey...some kind of elk maybe or dear' "Is this pup yours?" he asked the wolf. He stood his ground, ready to attack if necessary, but this wolf didn't seem to be hostile. "I found the runt alone. She has another smell on her, so I don't think she's abandoned." He paused, ears flicking toward the sound of a deep howl. "Another one?!"

She noticed the quick change in his demeanor. Her fur lay back down, muscles relaxed. Then she realized... she was the one that looked like she was going to harm someone. She was covered in blood from the elk. Her eyes widened as she slowly backed up but then they addressed her. She froze, standing tall. "No, that isn't my pup. I haven't had whelps of my own...I'm just now in season..." She said sheepishly. Why was she embarrassed that she was just now considered an adult at 2 years? She shook her head and smiled at the both of them. "I'm sorry about my appearance... I was hunting for... my..." She stopped. Friends? She had just met them. Were they? They weren't her pups so she couldn't say that.." I was hunting. Its just the blood from the elk I had." She dismissed it, hoping it would make them feel more comfortable.
Her ears perked as a deep howl echo'ed around them. It had to be her father, or someone looking for her. She turned and looked up at where the pup was perched, smiling. "I believe someone is looking for you now...am i wrong?" She looked back at the male, eyeing him up and down. He didn't seem young, but he was awfully playful. She slightly tilted her head, questioning it silent with a soft smile placed on her features. Mirari placed her delicate maw to the sky and let a beautiful response sing from her vocals. She replied with soft short howls, letting the asker know she was alright. She sent another howl to the pups in the rocks, hoping they were fine and could hear her. 'I need to at least make sure they are fine before i leave...or decide to do anything else' She thought to herself, returning her pale blue gaze to the male wolf and small she pup on near the boulder.

Sinoin relaxed, gaze calculating as it took in the white she wolf ahead of him. After she let out her calling howls, telling the location of the pup, he spoke. "I'm not from around here, I was passing through when I smelt the runt. She scared me half to death." he playfully took a paw full of snow and tossed it near the pup, purposefully missing. "You took half a year off me! I'm only 3."
He turned back toward the white wolf "You should be careful about that blood on you. It could attract other wolves, who aren't as nice and awesome as me" he joked grinning. "Name's Sinoin."

(Whoa guys, also, so there are no surprises and/or saying Kodi is unrealistic, Kodiac has Giantisum, meaning he will always be bigger then other wolves his age.) Kodiac: Kodi poked his head out at all the commotion. Even his nose could find the sents mingled around. How is Jess even asleep? he wondered. Then, bracing for the cold, he stepped outside. The snow had died down, and the wind wasn't as cold and sharp. But the icy shards in his chest seemed to move deeper. Kodi gritted his teeth, preparing to growl as he approched. When he saw what was going on, he stepped in. He looked Illao's age, maybe a little younger. But the fact there were older, and more experienced wolves around, didn't scare him too much. "Who are you?" he asked, the growl he was preparing from before no longer needed.

(King has a similar condition to Kodiac, he looks like a giant puppy because of his oversized paws, but by no means a giant.) Shikoba: The colourful she-pup snickered inside to the black male's comment. "Her daughter? She thought." She looked nothing like her. Surely it wasn't possible for a mostly-white wolf to mother a navy blue wolf with colourful patches all over her body. She shrugged it off, not wanting to be rude. As the white wolf explained the blood was of an elk, she tilted her head. She had no idea of any of the creatures in the wilderness outside of her den. "Does elk taste good?" She asked, tilting her head slightly. Suddenly, Shikoba swiftly swiveled the in direction of the howl wagging her tail. "Father!" She shouted at the top of her voice then moved her eyes in the direction of the blood-soaked female, listening to her reply. The pup took a deep breath and let out a deafening high-pitched yowl and a few barks to follow. She jumped around towards the male wiggling her butt "Scared you half to death? I'm the size of a rabbit!" she giggled. She was feeling more herself knowing her father was in howls reach. Rudely ignoring the others she gazed towards the source of the howl.
King: The navy wolf's eyes widened when he heard a friendly female howl back. He recognised it signified his pup was there. He turned to the east and as he started running on his three paws he heard his daughter's broken howl. His pace quickened to a lope, now ignoring his injury. Thoughts raced around his head and his vision was slowed and blurred, his heart was pounding. He barked, letting it echo through the forest as he leapt over a tree stump, but he couldn't hear the sound. Realizing he was in a daze he shook himself and became conscious of the fact he was dreaming of his forest home in the summer. His paws were on cold slabs of stone covered in snow. "I've got to get a hold of myself" he said out loud. Coming to a slow, he caught the strong scent of elk carcass. His stomach growled as he caught sight of it, but he padded past the kill. "Don't want to disturb a fresh kill" He thought.

(Whoa, slow down guys! XD I haven't had much of a chance to post. With many people in a thread, it's easier if we find a posting order so that nobody gets left behind ) Illao:All of the noise brought Illao scampering to the entrance of their shelter. She stood beside Kodi looking out into the snow. "Who do you think is out there? Hey, isn't Mirari outside, too? What if she's in trouble? We should help her! But what can we do? We're just pups! Oh, I got it! We can distract the enemy, while Mirari kicks their butts! Yep, that's the plan!" Kodi stepped into the storm and Illao trotted after him. The group of wolves wasn't far from the den, but it felt like miles since the wind was fighting against the pups. The wolves were shadows that towered over them. Kodi called out a question. Illao followed with her own string of words, "Yeah, who dares disturb my slumber! Muhahahahaha! Not really, I was already awake when you guys started yapping, but really who... Hey Mirari, are you there?"The silhouettes looked more like wolves now. Their coat colors were now visible. "Hi! I see you all now! Oh, are you a pup? You're super colorful!" Illao giggled, completely forgetting that these wolves might be dangerous, "I had no idea a wolf could be a rainbow! Mirari?" Illao sobered for a second as she realized Mirari was covered in blood. "Are you okay? Whose blood is that? Are you hurt? Are you going to die if we don't help you? Can we help you? I don't want you to die!!!" Illao's words were becoming more and more panicked with every sentence. "Please don't die!!!" She bounded towards the ivory she-wolf, but stumbled in the wind as if threw her off-balance. Instead of rushing to Mirari, Illao landed face-first in a snowdrift. "Umph!" Illao struggled to pull herself out. Her head popped out and she shook off some snow that clung to her pelt. The whiteness was quickly replaced with new snow from the storm. "I'm okay!" Illao padded slowly back to the others her speech never faltering, "I know I'm alright, but are you sure you're alright Mirari? That's an awful lot of blood. Why does blood have to look so scary? It already shows up whenever there's a bunch a pain, but it has to look scary too. Unlike my fiery red coat, it's an ugly deep red! Why can't blood be rainbows or something? Then you can be happy while you hurt!"

((Dang! XDD Hiya))
Sinoin looked toward the new larger wolf, stance tense, guarded "Who are -" he paused when the pup bounded toward him. Snorting "Hey rabbits can be scary, although they have a lot more grace and agility than you, runt" he joked bopping her gently on the head with his paw.
Raising his head from the little pup he looked toward the new tumbling arrivals. "Are you serious!? Is this like a meeting I accidentally bumped into or something?!" he paused watching as the she-pup took a nose dive into the snow. He snorted, then raised his eyebrow in shock at the long winded pup. "This is why I'm so glad I don't have any pups myself." He tilted his head toward the blood covered she wolf "So that's why you were hunting such a large animal. You got terrors to feed." he smirked.

Kodiac growled. His kaleidoscope eyes flashed in the snow. His white hackles rose. A snarl started forming, directed at Sinoin. "You didn't answer my question." he said. He stood tall, and the ice shards seemed to dig even deeper. No way was he going to be scared into submission. "She's not my mom," he said. As much as I wish she was.... He added mentally. Besides, he and Illao looked nothing like Mrari. He did a good job of hiding his emotions. He glanced around again. The small she-wolf was about the size of his siblings. The blue male was easily the biggest wolf Kodiac had ever seen. Then there was the other male....

(Should the posting order be as it stands in the thread from Rykett onwards? Good idea btw)
Shikoba: Shikoba bowed and wiggled her butt in excitement as her father was in sight, but tilted her head when he saw him gazing through her with his left paw held up. "Hm? What are you waiting for daddy?" She pondered to herself. The rainbow pup pivoted her ears to the sound of pups and smiled. Maybe she could make some friends here after all. Her father would surely make her stay a lone wolf if it weren't for the pups. After all, King's paternal instinct was strong. Shikoba leapt off the rock as elegantly as she could, landing quite impressively for a weakling. She smiled to herself. She looked to the pup hat was addressing her and said "I wish I had all the colours of the rainbow." She paused, pawing the dirt. Then glanced at the other pup who was fussing over it's mother. "My favourite colour, red is left out, and so is orange" She sighed. She narrowed her eye's confused by her own trail of thought "She does have pups?" she rolled her eyes, but gave the white she-wolf some slack. "She's probably just protecting them, like father. What a good mother she is." She thought. Finally feeling more comfortable, she swished her tail to clear some snow then sat on the stony floor and licked her legs to warm them from the bitter cold snow. She jumped up as she saw the giant wolf growling and looked towards her father.
King: The giant puppy-like wolf halted and lifted his injured paw, both in indecisiveness and pain. He had caught sight of the pups who had their backs to him. He blinked a few times, frozen, thinking of what to do. He saw the black male who didn't seem like the friendly type, his fur stood on edge and his body was tense when he talked to the approaching huge male. "Did he just call my Koby a runt?" he scorned to himself. His eyes widened when he lay a paw on the little one's head, but he eluded his anger when he realised Shikoba didn't care and that she was fine. He put his giant paw down and stood tall, straight faced, hiding his pain as best he could, though the snow-topped rock bit his sliced pads. "I see you've met my daughter." he said strongly, reserved. He disliked meeting other wolves for the first time and found it hard coping with too many adults. "There's three." He concluded as he took a deep breath through his nose to gather the scents. He walked around the pups at a safe distance, signaling he was no threat. He slowly crept toward his daughter, and with his massive maw, gently carried her by the neck, placing her further away from the adults and stood over her. Now he felt comfortable enough to talk. "Thank you for my pup. I hope there's no hard feelings, I'm going to claim her back now." He spoke with arrogance in his tone, hiding his normal docile personality. He couldn't let it show until he trusted them somewhat, for Shikoba's sake. His hackles raised as he tensed up when the aggressive brown wolf pup started growling. His top lip pulled back slightly, but not enough to show his teeth. "A pup as great as him could harm Shikoba." He thought.

(I'm just posting as I get 'em)
Sinon narrowed his eyes at the large wolf pup, lowering himself and growling "Not that its any business of yours, but I was traveling when I ran into the colorful runt over here, then all of you started to show up. So really, I think your in no position to be asking questions. Who are you anyway?"
He paused, eyes trailing to the male wolf with the injured paw, tracking his movements but relaxing considerably. He bowed his head in submission, to show he was no threat to king. "I found her when I awoke earlier. She was bouncing around in the snow, she looked lost so I thought I'd help her find her pack. Your her father then?" he asked gently "You're injured." he noted

Mirari smiled sweetly as Kodi and Illao came bounding into the area. Her eyes widened at Illao's sudden response and shook her head. " Im fine Illao, I was out hunting for you all. We got an elk!" She yipped happily, wagging her tail at the two pups she had met in the rocks. Her auds turned to the others, sinking slowly as she held back the urge to roll her eyes. "I am not a mother, I have not given life to any small paws" She heard the tension between the Black wolf, Kodi, and now suddenly the large blue father.
Her hackles raised in an instant and the distance between her, Kodi, and Illao was covered quickly. She stomped her front mitts, sending snow up in an angry puff. She pinned her ears back as a throaty growl vibrated through her chest, looking at both males." Drop it. Tensions are high between everyone, so i think everyone just needs to take a deep breath...and start over." She said determined, eyes meeting each male, including Kodi. She leaned her head at Kodi, feeling the need add. "You need to respect elder wolves then yourself. If you dont, it will get you hurt by the wrong wolf." She added softly. 'Why am i feeling so protective of them?' She questioned herself. ' I barely know these small wolves yet i feel a need to protect them. Hmm... maybe its how i met them... in such a sudden dangerous situation. I.. I'm so confused.'
Mirari cleared her throart, shaking her head free of any roaming thoughts. " I am Mirari. I've been traveling through the area in search of...." She trailed off. What was she searching for? A home? Wolves who she could trust her backside to? She did not know anymore. The black wolf's voice caught her ears and she turned to look at the father. "You're injured? Are you alright...?" She spoke softly, tilting her head slightly to the side in question.

Shikoba: Shikoba kept her mouth shut, lying low underneath her father, with ears laid back. Letting out a silent sigh. She knew that if she said anything, she might get into more trouble. She felt slightly angry at her father for not being himself, however, she understood he was trying to protect her. "He won't hurt them unless they hurt me. If I stay here, like I should've stayed in the den, we'll both be ok." She thought. She certainly didn't want to play with the aggressive wolf pup anytime soon. If he got angry with her, he'd surely rip her to shreds.
King: The large navy wolf kept his blue and silver eyes locked on the pup, narrowing them slightly. "You strike me as the type who acts swiftly, without thinking of consequence." He lowered his head to the pup's level. "Pick on someone your own size works both ways. Pick on the wrong adult, young one and you're minced meat." he spoke calmly, hoping the young puppy would heed his advice. He was wise to the large pup's situation, having gone through it himself. His body loosened and their eyes became unlocked as the slender white she-wolf raced in front of the mother-less pup. He took a step forward, and greeted her with a bow. "Your ..." He paused in thought for a moment "Adopted pup... should be thankful I'm not the type to wound or kill any animal, no matter how arrogant for no reason." He raised his head once again. "That goes for all of you" he announced. The white female's words had calmed him considerably. "Mirari's right." He said while nodding. He still chose to stand in front of his daughter, just for security. "I apologise" He said, turning his head to the black wolf. "Yes, this is my daughter, Shikoba, Koby for short and I am King. Pleasure to meet you, sir." He smiled after he spoke, letting out a huff of air as if starting to laugh. "That must've sounded so silly. Sir?! What was I thinking? Can't take it back now." he reflected to himself.
Shikoba: The rainbow pup broke her silence. "In search of a mate?" she guessed. Why else would her mothering instinct kick in on stray pups? Taking in small mouths to feed in winter is not a good idea She thought.

Kodi calmed down, then shook off the snow. He was shivering like crazy, now that the fight had gone out of him. He bowed his head in apology. "I'm sorry, sir." he said. Then, to the black male, "My name is Kodiac." Kodi said. Then, "If you want, you can call me Kodi." Kodi looked at Mrari for some support. Of all the times to not have Toki.... But it is a kind of good thing Flint isn't around. He smiled a little at that. He felt the snow building up again and shook it free of his tan, silver, and white fur.

Sinoin paused, tilting his head and immediately relaxing out of his guarded stance. "Alright, alright." he whined letting the she wolf know he meant no harm "Jeesh I wasn't gonna do anything, just wanted to scare him a little." He grinned showing off his teeth "See? I can be nice." His gaze turned toward the large pup "Besides, he's only trying to protect you girls. It's adorable" he teased playfully
He looked toward King when addressed, eyebrows raised "You can call me Sinoin." 'Sir? I don't look that old do I? Its the snow isn't it?' he thought. He shook it off to the best of his abilities, the movement causing him to tumble forward unto his face into more snow. "Dammit!" he cursed. "In case you hadn't noticed Kid—er Kodi" he said sitting upright and looking to the big pup "I'm a lover not a fighter." he sneezed, the snow plopping off his face.
