(I'm back! I have a drawing tablet which I might use shortly to see what it can do. Thanks, Rykett, for the compliment. >//.//< I'm new to "official" RPing, the last one I was in was very wasn't very structured and very random so hearing that makes me happy. ) Shikoba: The 8-week old pup pricked her ears, looking towards her father who was chomping on the meat, then emptily gazed down at the lump of meat that had been plopped in front of her. She pawed the meat, digging into it with her sharp claws and with four hard drags of her paws, she'd sliced a bite-size chunk off of the elk meat. She sniffed at it, lowering her head slowly then scooped it up with her bottom jaw. Rather than wolf down like her father, she chewed with her mouth as closed as possible, her jaws barely opening. As the taste flooded her tongue and smell aerated through her mouth and into her nostrils, she begun to feel more hungry than she'd ever felt in her life. 'Oooh, this tastes so much better than regurgitated anything!' she thought. A pup's voice rang through her ears and she swallowed her bite. Her eyes widened as she listened to the bright red pup's explanation and soon she was flicking her tail rapidly. "Sure, I'll play with you after-" She paused, looking at her father for approval, who she now noticed was looking at her. King: King gave Shikoba a sideways glance as he ate the warm fresh meat. 'She eats just like her mother. As if she's tending a pup- ... until she chews.' His face became blood-soaked grin as he watched his daughter out of the corner of his eye. His massive elk meat lump was already reduced to half. He tore at it and gulped without chewing, then finished the last piece off with ease. His head turned to the red she-pup as she addressed his daughter, then back to Shikoba. "I love freeze tag!" He exclaimed. "We should play it sometime." He continued, then looked down at his paw and sighed. "After my paw is better, which shouldn't be long." His giant paws crossed, he put his left paw facing up, and started to lick the wound. He grimaced as fragments of rock moved about the wound and landed on his tongue. Using his other paw, he pushed some snow atop the wound, to somewhat stop the thudding and cool it a little. To distract himself from the pain he watched as the other mostly brown and tan pups messed around. Jess had caught his eye. Her blueish-green eyes were misty, clouded over with what seemed to be blindness. He tilted his head soon found himself wondering 'How has she lasted this long?' His heart thudded as he felt sorry for the pup. "World spirit watch over you, little one." He said out loud without realising.

Mirari chuckled as everyone settled in. She layed upon the ground and began to clean her fur, she hated being filthy. As everyone began to feed, talk and play among themselves, Mirari began to drift in and out. She shook her head hard trying to snap back into a clear state of mind. What was happening to her? She had eaten since so that was no longer the concern, so what was the issue? Was she sick? She didnt feel hot. Then she realized. She had been pushing herself so hard to find shelter or food, that she hadn't slept in days. She felt the numbing pull of sleep on her as her head hit the rocks beneath her with a thud. Her small body gently rose and fell with her shallow breaths and she pulled her tail tight to her. "Not here....not now..." She thought to herself." I need to make...sure..everyone is...ok..." she trailed off as all the wolves before her sank into the distance.

Illao:
"Okay, so we'll play freeze tag some other time! Oh! Flint, that looks fun! Lemme try!" Illao barked and bounded towards Flint and the wall he'd just climbed. She scrambled up the wall. She straightened as she perched on the top. "I'm the queen of the world! Whoa! You can see everything from up here! Hey, guys, you should try climbing up to be the ruler of the world instead of me. Or we could play a different game! Or go exploring since I'm sure there are plenty of things to find in this place. There are so many things to do. I barely know what to do most of the time!" Illao grinned happily. Oh! I have another idea! We could go and search for stuff. I've been searching a bunch over the last weeks, but I haven't found what I'm looking. I just got lost instead. Are you guys searching for stuff?

Shikoba: Shikoba's head turned back to Illao. She swallowed a mushed up chunk of meat and stood up with a grin appearing on her tiny maw. Shikoba had never played with other pups before, but it looked fun, and she was aching to give it a shot. She bounded over to Flint and Illao and looked up at the wall. It looked bigger close up. Nevertheless, filled with courage from the safety of the pack, she crouched, digging her front claws into the damp mud to give her more traction. She narrowed her eyes and leaped at the wall, she scrambled up but lost speed with her forepaws gripping the top of the wall. Her claws held her there, and her back legs frantically searched for a foothold. Frustrated, she let go and tumbled down, but landing on all four paws. "H-how did you do that?!" the defeated pup exclaimed.
King: The wolf's blue and silver eyes turned to his daughter, and he started grinning again. He felt less protective of her now he'd seen everyone was friendly. 'Have to let her go play at some point' He thought, then looked at the Elk she'd left. 'So wasteful as always, just like your mum. World spirit, forgive her.' he thought, somewhat displeased. He snuck towards it and wolfed it down, wondering how much of the Elk was wasted. He stood up, and stretched. His belly made him heavy and sluggish. He always ate too much so as not to be wasteful. He headed towards the Elk carcass, passing a sleepy Mirari, his eyes meeting hers. Steadily grasping that something was wrong, and realising he actually cared, he paused and backed up, inches away from the white wolf. Her beautiful blue eyes seemed lifeless and hazy. "Don't lose a grip on reality here, go into the den to dream." He said softly, hoping others wouldn't notice, and nuzzled her, concerned. King had every intention of keeping her and her adopted pups safe if she did lose consciousness. His head swiftly turned back to the playing pups, then gradually back to the female in front of him. Watching her, he continued towards the elk. He sighed at the sight of the carcass. About half had been consumed. He dragged it into a position where he could see all of the wolves, and nibbled at it, already full.

Mirari's brow furrowed as she connected eyes with King. She knew she shouldn't slip away here out in the open but her body was numb. Her auds flicked in every direction as she tried to will herself to her paws. Clearity had returned to her clouded eyes as she pushed herself up on shakey legs. Her lungs heaved as she worked to stay awake and up right. She quickly trotted to a corner near the pups but not in the way and flopped back onto the ground. That was all the energy she had to give. Her muzzle rested in the dirt below, short puffs releasing from her snout. Her beautiful blue and silver swirls of fur sticking in every odd direction, unkempt. She didnt even care at this point. Her tail swished to cover the side of her body and everyone washed into the distance. The young female passed out in the darkness of the cave, weeks of hardships trying to escape her bod.
In her dreams she vaguely recalled seeing a jet black wolf prowling the ruins, as if in search of something. She set out in search of him, to get a better view. He had something rather peculiar attached to his face, something she had never seen in her years. Metal? The object was shiny in spots, but worn and dirty in others. It grasped his maw firmly, as if a punishment for living. His eyes began to turn a bloody red color and he looked straight through her. Chills sent through her not only in her dream but rocketing through her body. She shuddered in her sleep, a whine escaping her maw. His eyes focused back on her, as if looking at her very soul. A deep gruff voice echoed around her as she stared at this horrifying vision infront of her. "You shouldnt be here."
She was startled awake by the pups playing but kept her head on the ground. She shifted staring at the den opening and felt the same eerie feeling creep across her skin. Her auds perked forward as she watched it, hoping that it was just a uncanny feeling she was having in her gut.
Black paws crushed the snow beneath them with ease as the male pushed forward. Blood from an elk met his nose and he growled lowly. Food had been scarce around this region and he hated it. The smells of many wolves met with the blood and peeked his curiosity. The smell of a familiar white wolf had mixed in with it. He grumbled. "Hmm... perhaps." His massive mitts carried him forward across the ruins until he came to a small clearing where many prints were scattered across the snow.

( Rykett)
Kodiac:Kodi curled up in the den, sleepy and not really wanting to get up to play now. He turned his white back to the wind, and yawned. He started sleeping, and his dreams once again came to the bloody battle field. More wolves were scattered around. Wolves Kodi didn't even know. Toki was still alive, and it seemed almost like packs were at war. Kodi was bigger, older. He was in combat with a wolf, and nothing seemed right. Flint:Flint climbed the wall again, his molten fire eyes scanning the area around them. A unknown wolf was approching! Flint howled as loud as he could to alert the others of the oncoming threat. He saw Toki try to get a spot where he could fight the wolf. Flint jumped down and got ready to fight the wolf himself. Toki:Toki saw Flint climb the wall, and decided that flint would be fine. The snow was soft, the wind had died, and everything seemed fine. Then Flint howled an alarm, and Toki, not sure of what else to do, ran to fight the wolf. Flint soon joined him. Toki growled, not a really terrifying growl, but still. Jess: Jess bumped into King by accident, and shook her head. "Sorry." she said, triny to find a way around the large obstacle. She had just found a way around the legs that prevented her from getting to the other side, when Flint howled. Jess stood stock still, then growled and wondered how she could help. "If I get out of the way, I could help.

Illao:
Illao giggled as she watched Koby try to climb the wall. ”It’s not actually that hard. You can find footholds all over the place if you know where to look! See there’s one there!” The red pup leaned over the wall and pointed a paw a brick sticking out of the wall several inches above Shikoba’s head. Her green gaze shifted to Flint who was conquering the climb again. Her balance wavered as she leaned forward. She regained her balance with a steadying paw to her right. As Flint pulled himself up, Illao found her nose pressing against his. Illao giggled again as her cheek fur puffed up in a wolf’s imitation of a blush. She flashed a smile at Flint as she gave him some space on the narrow wall.
Flint seemed focused on something else. A second later, his howl called the warning. Illao stumbled backward in surprise. She tumbled off the wall. She gained several bruises because of her fall. She bounced to her feet, wincing only slightly at the pain that the fall had caused. She bounded to the opening of their den. Her mouth moved nonstop as she trotted, ”Someone’s here? Who is it? Are they friendly? I’m sure they are! Who wouldn’t be?” Illao reached the entrance and peered out at the wolf’s form eagerly. She continued her stroll to the wolf, ”Hi, there!!! What’s your name? I’m Illao! It’s kinda a weird name, but I don’t care. I like it! We should totally be friends! It would be so blazing. Hey, Toki, Flint, you don’t need to growl. I’m sure the newbie’s just wants to be friends. I mean…” Illao petered to a halt. She stared at the stranger. The wolf didn’t seem as friendly as Illao assumed most wolves were. She hesitated and took a step away. A tiny rumble began in the back of her throat as instinct told Illao to flee.

Shikoba: While shaking melted snow off of her fur, the almost-rainbow wolf felt a shudder go down her spine. She shrugged it off. Being cold didn't bother her when she was having fun. Heeding Illao's advice, she nodded and turned her head to the foothold jutting out of the ancient wall. With a surge of determintion, she leaped at the wall, this time utilizing the step that Illao had shown her, and finding a tiny crack to wedge her back paw in, she pushed up with all her might- ... and jumped over the wall past Illao. "Too much?" She asked, giggling, pleased. "Why the howl, Flint?" She questioned, after it pierced her ears. For a few seconds the ruins were deadly silent, then the fox-like pup bounded forward, chatting to an unknown... Shikoba's heart raced. 'No.... get away from him' She thought. She shuffled to the optimal place to be hidden, behind the wall.
King: A glance over to Mirari filled him with worry. "World spirit, don't take the pup's mother away... Not again" he muttered to himself. King was slightly startled when he felt something fall against him. The big softy smiled at the female pup who had bumped into him. 'Definitely blind' he thought and nudged her in the right direction to the back of the den "Don't worry little one." He said calmly, watching her bump into his legs. "You'll learn to see with sound or scent, like- ... like a ninja!" He said, filled with hope for the young one. Suddenly, the howl of the brave male pup filled the air with tension. King slowly got up, hoping it was nothing. His bi-coloured eyes examined the area and to his despair, he saw a shadowy figure approaching, and one of the other pups talking to him. Instinctively, the large navy male sprung into action. His powerful paws pounded the snow flat as he skidded around Illao's front as she stepped back, serving as a meat shield for the pup for a second or two. He flicked snow into the intruder's face as he passed, and for a fleeting moment, thought about shouting "Sorry" behind him. He took Illao as gently as he could in his maw, but running made this difficult. He dropped the female pup behind the wall with his own daughter, Shikoba. His giant forepaws pushed against the wall, giving him a jumping start back towards Flint and Toki. "Stay away from our pups." King lowly, but calmly stated to the wolf, now walking forward. It was now clear that it was a male with black fur. He now stood in front of the two pups confronting the intruder, hackles and tail raised and stiff, teeth showing on one side as his lip curled up slightly.

(Time Skip Rykett, your next) Kodi:Kodiac, now a giant bigger then King, padded back with a rabbit on his mouth. His muddy brown fur made a dark contrast to his white stripe and silver face. Now his coat rippled over muscles built by play fights, getting up, and hunting. His paws were huge, as well as the rest of him. His pup self was dwarfed by how big he was now. He smiled as he saw his family, or what they had become after a year together. Miari was gone, and that intruder, they had both gone into thin air, with Sinohn. Flint: Flint leaped. He had perfected this as a pup, now he was big enough to scale the entire wall in one leap. He landed on the wall with perfect accuracy. He gave the area a look over. Kodi was bringing in food, that was worth howling about. Flint howled, relaxed. That particular howl meant that someone had food. His flame fur had grown out luxurious and thick. Toki: Toki was sleeping, no real dreams coming out of the gloom of sleep. Just blurs that came and went. Toki had also grown, the kink in his fluffy tail more noticeable then when he was a pup. At one point he saw Shikoba. Jess:She sat down, letting the wind ruffle her tan and charcoal fur. She loved the feeling of the wind, how it cooled her down and made her skin tickle. She sniffed around, letting the smells flow into her nose. She smelled Kodi, Iallo, King, Shikoba, and her entire 'family'.

((Whoa, whoa, whoa… I don’t want to do a long time skip. Please? I prefer for my pups to grow up slowly. Illao is growing up, though, and since it’s her birthday this autumn she’ll be a young adult in the next couple posts, anyways. Is it okay if we just skip a couple days so that Mirari and the intruder can disappear instead of a skipping a whole year? Also Jelack, Kilpi, and Nina need some time to catch up to them and I believe we still need some of the puppyish adventurous spirit so they can scamper to the barrens so they can run into Midnight Silence/meet Jelack, Kilpi, and Nina. We're still doing that plot, right?))

(Um, okay... But we need Brighten, she adopted Nina, and she hasn't been on in ages. She's brighten's wolf, I'm no longer allowed to play her. *Groans* Okay, so no more time skip. So, time skip a few days, and that is that? We should tell Eden. In the meantime, we need to figure something out, and it is difficult to wright a 100 word OOC post, unless you count the rest of the way. 76 77 78 79 80 81 82 83 84 85 86 87 88 89 90 91 92 93 94 95 96 97 98 100 101)

(Aw, I was kinda looking forward to the time skip. Oh well. So how are we going to work this out if Brighteh has Nina? If I'm being honest, I'm not good at following plots, I just go with the flow XD
Wait, if the pups are going elsewhere, am I basically kicked out of this? I honestly don't know what to do at this point x.x
And yes, writing 100 words in OOC chat is very hard, but I believe in myself. Come on Eden, you can do it. 8 more to go, almost, almost, there we are.)

(Time skip a day or two later! Instead of two years... Also sorry for the wait, I wasn’t quite sure how to start. XD) Illao:
A young red wolf bounced out the den that the group had made their own. Her grin was wider than the crescent moon. She looked back at the ruins where the other wolves were resting. The sun had only risen about an hour ago. The rest of nature was already awake. The couple birds that there were sung, happy to exist. Illao was just as content. She enjoyed that serenity of the pleasant morning for a second before springing back inside, feeling a desperate need to fill the silence with her voice.
”Guys! Get up! Get up! The sun’s up! The birds are singing! I have a brilliant adventure that we do! Get up! Nothing gets spoken when you’re sleeping!” Illao shouted as she bounded around the stone den.

Kodi: Kodi yawned, still sleepy. "Iallo, your as bad as the birds..." he muttered. Kodi got up, and poked his nose outside. The sun was unbearably bright, for a early morning. Kodi yawned again, dragging himself outside. He was not at all a morning wolf today.
Flint: Flint was already up when Iallo woke everyone else up. He was standing at the top of the stone wall above their home. His fire gold eyes glinted in the sunrise. He looked down to see Iallo rush out, then back in. Flint had developed a crush on her, despite her being a season older then he was. Flint jumped down, yawned, and wondered how much sleep he could get away with before someone woke him up.
Toki: Toki looked up, groggy. "Wha? What? Who's talking?" he said, then flopped back down. He had no intention of waking up any earlier then late morning. He dutifully dreamed of everything that made him happy. Sunshine, fluffy rabbits, and sleeping in the shade.
Jess: Jess woke up when Kodi got up. She put her head back on her paws, thinking. She finally dragged herself up, and went outside. She nosed the ground a little, then looked up.
