Meeting the Pack (Open to all Secluded Sunrise members)

The silver-gray male felt his claws dig into the moist, warm, earth as he ran. He was curious about his new home, and his new pack-mates, and he'd taken it upon himself to investigate the territory he'd be living in.
He'd not seen or spoken to his new alphess since the starry evening she'd admitted him into her pack, but that was understandable. He heard the frequent howls at the border, and as a leader, her pack needed her. A new omega was the least of her concerns, he could take care of himself. But he would like to see her again. He'd given himself to the pack, and he wanted to do what was expected of him, and he had no idea what that was, but for now he would have to wait.
He slowed his free-run into a casual lope as he neared the grove. Then he stopped, nose to the ground, he caught the scent of several other wolves, his pack-mates. His ears pricked forward and he carefully walked on into the grove, cautious, weary. He believed in unity, but as of yet, he did not know these wolves, he did not trust them, nor did they have any reason to trust him, other than that he was there.
Slowly, carefully, keeping his ears and head low to assure his pack-mates that he had no ill-intent, he walked on, interested and intent on meeting the other wolves who called this place home.
